1861  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: June 19, 2015, 09:36:08 AM
Work hard, then your chances of getting rich will be higher. Don't work at all, and forget about becoming rich. Many sites claiming to teach you how to triple your money or something similar, are clearly scams. If there was such a way, wouldn't everybody be rich already?

Investing in things seems easy, and seems to make you big bucks, but you might lose everything in one second. Instead, getting a job and having a constant income would mean you're earning small bucks (maybe even more). By continuing to work, you'll earnt enough money to be able to consider more successful ways of earning even more money. Maybe then, by investing, you may make profit. If you lose, it won't be as bad. Just hope you'll get rich. Smiley

1864  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a Retirement Account on: June 17, 2015, 11:52:29 PM
I'd certainly base part of my retirement on Bitcoins. I might get lucky and even profit, but of course, the opposite might happen. Just don't use Bitcoin as your single way of funding your retirement, as it might be worth less when you reach your retirement.
1865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many friends did you recommend bitcoin to? Did they accept it? on: June 17, 2015, 11:49:23 PM
You see, when I tried to introduce one of my friends to Bitcoin, I taught them how to make an address. When it was created, he was like "What is this, spam? But afterwards, he did research and stuff, and seemed to be interested in it. I think "Free Money" was the keyword.

1869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Ever Bitcoin Bank to be Opened in Switzerland? on: June 17, 2015, 06:56:26 AM
there isnt a need to control the wallet just need the adress to get the interest paid montly on it ,in this case they would create the wallet us just will be able to see balance ,,,soo the bank couldnt lend our btc to others without we know soo not worthy for a bank... get deposits and offer interest without being able to lend those same money between users lol

But as a Bitcoin user do we really need a bank? This is very logical question and I believe that majority of us would say a BIG NO that we don't need any bitcoin bank to keep our bitcoins safe as it is already safe and we are taking great care of its security as we take of our wife and our child lol  Grin
I agree with your first point. As long as we know how to keep our coins safe, whatever the way you store it, there is no need for these 'banks'. They may charge larger fees for simple tasks, such as withdrawing, because how else would they survive? They'll need to make profit.

But anyways, looks like Bitcoin getting even more popular, and will grab even more people's attention, which is a good thing.

1873  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: June 16, 2015, 08:29:55 AM
The price of Bitcoin has changed a lot in the past few years. This makes it very difficult to estimate how many Bitcoins people will need for retirement, especially as this topic is talking about the next 20 years. Currencies are highly unpredictable, especially with digital cryptocurrencies. You might think you have saved up enough, and then when you reach there, the price drops. That won't be good. Saving up more than you need would be much better. Although this can be kept in mind, we cannot predict how much you would need for retirement. The price just changes too much.

1875  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: June 16, 2015, 07:00:26 AM
It seems there is nothing for free in life, so it is with bitcoin.
You have to earn it.
Faucets, sig campaign and loaning is not the way to do it. As someone said, $0.22 an hour doing these things don't even cover the cost of the internet you are using to do these things  Cheesy
The only thing that I see some lucky people doing is betting at the casinos to make some reasonable bitcoin for the time they take. But they make smart bets that are sure to win not careless high odd ones, because that is where you lose big time.
Luckily for the people behind casinos (unfortunate for the people gambling), they get a lot of money off other people. The number of 'lucky people' making 'smart bets' is pretty rare, which is what they want. Does this mean you could run a casino and then watch the money flow in? Although that might zillions more casinos popping up, just like the amount of altcoins Tongue, could you make money assuming you're able to grab people's attention to your casino?
