1861  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Crazy shit Bible says, crazy shit Christians say on: February 19, 2016, 12:11:15 PM
Hey, wouldn't like to insult anyone but the shitty religious zealots still never answered to the fact that Bible says Earth is flat:
Isaiah 11:12
12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH. (KJV)

Revelation 7:1
1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. (KJV)

Job 38:13
13 That it might take hold of the ENDS OF THE EARTH, that the wicked might be shaken out of it? (KJV)

Jeremiah 16:19
19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ENDS OF THE EARTH, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. (KJV)

Daniel 4:11
11 The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the ENDS OF ALL THE EARTH: (KJV)

In fact it says it's square Smiley. Actually in many languages you can find expressions like "people from all corners of the world", we are actively using such statements, but nobody think that the Earth would be flat. BTW when the Bible was written everybody thought that Earth is flat, the spherical model turned up as a hypothesis from Pythagoras but Aristotle was the first who proved that three hundred years later. Well, and then what? This isn't real crazy shit just common cosmology of the age, and it still common in today's everyday phrasing but with modified meaning.

Oh there is nothing crazy if we all admit that Bible is nothing near absolute and has to be adapted to the age in which we are Wink

But tell that to the people thinking it's OK to smash a baby head with a rock or that the earth is only 7 000 years old Wink
1862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: February 19, 2016, 12:09:45 PM
Transaction fees goes to the miners who use it as an incentive to confirm your transaction. Governments do not have a viable way to apply taxation policies to every Bitcoin users due to it being pseudonymous. With that, government would be more reluctant to accept Bitcoin.
UNLESS government starts mining itself :3
1863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Pump & Dump Scam on: February 19, 2016, 12:09:16 PM
As a newbie to the crypto markets, I do wonder if anyone has a real grasp of what is happening!

People with a lot of experience shout buy whilst equally experienced others shout scam, sell.

It is very hard to make a choice that is well informed and there must be a lot of people acting purely on gut instinct or greed or whatever else.

ETH has potential for sure, but then it has a very good marketing campaign too.

Someone pass me a crystal ball please!

What's sure is that noobs have no clue ^^

But yeah it's rather easy to understand what happened. Eth market cap was triple in something like two hours, it means huge whales came in, made lots of noise around it (spamming on reddit and here) so more people came and price rised for days, then the big whales took their profit. It's called a pump and dump.
1864  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: February 19, 2016, 12:07:15 PM
I think it's smart to hold some for the long term.  But it's also a good idea to spend some to promote Bitcoin.  In fact spending it could make the value of Bitcoin increase if it makes it more widely used and accepted.

Well if you go this way: If nobody spends bitcoin the price will NEVER rise Wink
1865  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Shocking Times: Movement for Pedophile “Rights” Marches On on: February 19, 2016, 12:00:56 PM

1866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Pump & Dump Scam on: February 19, 2016, 11:59:35 AM
Get out of this scam while it is still possible. Smiley
I wouldn't call that a scam, but it's still a big pump and dump and nothing more Wink
1867  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 19, 2016, 11:59:06 AM
Ok seems than even after being scammed countless number of times I still don't have enough circonspection xD
Thanks for the precision though!
1868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Bitcoins have Tax?? on: February 19, 2016, 11:52:08 AM
Here in the Philippines, if the money came from online earning tax doesn't cover it.  And as far as I know, same with other countries too correct me if I'm wrong.

You have to pay tax on every profit you make and it doesn't matter if it's from online trading or freelancing you have to declare your earnings. I think you even have to declare your money from gambling because if the gov finds out you are in a lot of trouble.

Yeah otherwise it would be really too easy to just launder your money xD
1869  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Racial Healing Comes Only By Understanding the Past on: February 19, 2016, 11:51:24 AM
Lol, here you go with your logical fallacies shit again xD
While making my point in your own answer, thx.

You just said Marxism is here to makes way for socialism and communism, which are the opposite of capitalism. Hence Marxism is the opposite of capitalism, or at least the first step of the opposite of capitalism but here it's just semantic xD

Capitalism is directly responsible for millions and millions of deaths since the begining of history... Crusades, wars, genocides, WWI and WWII, every USA wars, colonialism... It's all due to capitalism.

You might be educated but you're clearly not intelligent or objective. Sure Staline + Mao makes a great combo, but it's only 2 events ^^

Actually he has valid points. In a socialist/marxist society the working class not owning the means of production any more than in a capitalist society. All that stuff belongs to the state what effectively means the ruling elite and its loyal servants. You can see it as state capitalism or in best case as syndicalism. Anyway the working class will get only peanuts again, while the ruling elite will get the power, privileges and profit.
Go for anarcho-syndicalism if you want a real workers state Smiley.

BTW the marxists of the 20th century were not a bit better than their capitalist counterparts, they had only different rhetoric, fewer resources and shorter time to do harm to mankind.

There is a major difference, Socialism/Communism was not better because it was also an elite class leading the working class. But today with our current technology it's perfectly logical to imagine a truly democratic system where the means of production are own by the state but controlled by the people. A simple annual voting in each sector of activity for the great decisions, that sounds like a much better plan that what Sanofi is currently doing (French company, 15billion € profits last year, 8billion for the shareholders, 14 000 jobs are going to be deleted next year).

Seems like they never came back to explain why radioactivity isn't correct... xD
1871  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading For Minors? on: February 19, 2016, 11:36:32 AM
Hmmm...why would this sort of thing not be allowed?  I would imagine that a minor couldn't have a brokerage account to trade things like stocks, but having a bitcoin wallet is different and these bitcoin exchanges don't ask for your age when you sign up for the most basic membership.  What kind of trading, btc--->altcoin or btc<--->fiat?  That might make a big difference.

If kiddo trades on someone else's account, I don't see where the problem would be.  Maybe there are some bitcoin lawyers around here?

It's not allowed for minors, but you can make them trade on someone else account yes.

But he can't have his own account and do his own trading ^^
Then wouldn't the account owner have to pay the taxes of whatever the kiddo trades?

Yeah totally, that's why I say the kiddo can't directly trade.

He can do false trading with demo account though, that can be cool!
1872  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found a bitcoin bank but want to check its validity. on: February 19, 2016, 11:35:43 AM
I don't know if I would trust this. Is the "+220,000.00BTC" raised with "+51,000" investors information that should be publicly available? I don't know, but a company that started mid-2015 that raised over 90millionUSD without anyone knowing is a little suspicious to me.

Didn't see that xD

That's impossible. If that was the case that would have been known here already Wink
1873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Pump & Dump Scam on: February 19, 2016, 11:30:16 AM
The hype is definitely over, ETH continue to go down where it belongs.

I don't understand why some people paid for this train. It was an obvious scam! Price can't just go up like this without any reason!

The price has risen too fast for the Ethereum in the last month. So it is reasonable for the drop to happen.

Yeah but how could people buy?

I mean if tomorrow btc goes over 500 I won't buy!!! It means there will be some kind of manipulation of the market, something that I don't understand.
Be cautious when investing ^^

For ordinary people like us, it is difficult to invest. We can only invest in the things we know, but we do not know much about coins.

Which is why you shouldn't invest in a coin with a sudden high growth! Especially if you don't know a lot about it!

Do you mean the Ethereum? Ethereum has been developed for almost 18 months. It is still being developed. It is not a scam.

Yeah but the incredibly sudden growth is a scam Wink
1874  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Homosexuality is caused by being molested on: February 19, 2016, 11:25:10 AM
You're the one talking about religion.

But since religion occurs naturally among humans, you shouldn't apply your moral judgements to it.

BIM THANK YOU!!!

So as Homosexuality occurs naturally among humans you shouldn't apply your moral judgements to it right? Grin

But people also naturally find homosexuality disgusting.  Now what?

Well I naturally find religion so disgusting I wanna burn religious people alive.
Now what?

I'll get the firewood.

Ahah! Yeah thanks for the help buddy but let be honest they we gonna need a HELLA lot of wood! xD

I don't hate atheists  Smiley

Well maybe you don't hate atheists but you're God do that's for sure...
1877  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 19, 2016, 11:11:45 AM

Whaou that's really cool to see that, it's a bit like a saint coming back to give the Good Word ^^

I suppose they're talking about btcClassic. They can do nothing no? I don't really understand what a hardfork is :-/

1879  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found a bitcoin bank but want to check its validity. on: February 18, 2016, 10:49:22 AM
The question you have to ask yourself, can I trust this company to not do an exit scam when it has enough funds? The answer to that would be "No, you cannot", sending money to such sites is almost same as handing money to a stranger of which you know nothing about.

The question you have to ask to yourself is also "do i need a bank" and the answer is clearly no ^^
1880  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Proof that God exists on: February 18, 2016, 10:41:12 AM
I don't have a proof that god exists, but I certainly hope He does! I'd prefer to think that theists commit mass murder because their gods tell them to, rather than the alternative.

Why would a theist commit mass murder if he had told his god to do it?    Cheesy

No, you misread: A theist will commit murder if her god has told her to.

Yeah cause the other way around... Well that would be damn powerful xD
