1861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why trading is better than gambling? on: December 19, 2016, 05:25:02 AM
i think trading is better because you can earn alot of profit if you have skill , knowledge and trading also need some quiet patience , you can decrease your loss if you have some experienced.
You can also do that inside gambling if you play like a pro since they know how to take advantage with their experince and strategy but its just few who can do that unlike with trading you do have lots of information that you can rely in order for you to gain from time to time.
But in trading, the more experience you have trading then you have better chances of earning. Unlike in gambling, even if you have so much experience or you are so smart (unless you're counting cards), the chances of winning is the same! For example an experienced dice player vs a newbie dice player, plays at the same time, they both have the same chances of winning.
1862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a trick dice? on: December 19, 2016, 03:01:36 AM
Dice is all about the odds. There are not tricks to beat it.

Anyone can get a lucky streak and make a video about it to make you think it really works.

Don't be fooled and understand the mechanics of betting if you are serious about it.

It looks like these guys are editing these videos and capture only winning streaks and deleted most of the losing streaks because no one can predict when winning streaks will come to capture only those winning ones. No one can win or make money from these dice games but can really get some good fun.

No real editing required. It is just capturing all your betting and when a good streak hits, you cut that part out and present it as your trick.
You could call that editing ofcourse, but it is not like they are cutting in the middle of their betting runs to insert winning bets or anything.

Yeah, I usually see this in their so called "dice perfect way to earn money.pdf" or their money making method to defeat the casinos. The videos usually show that they indeed won a lot of money just by doing some stupid auto-bet or system. I guess that's how they show their "system" works. There is no trick in dice! There is only people tricking other people that there is a trick for dice.

1865  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTC betting simulator. Calculate your bettings with this simple site on: December 17, 2016, 06:40:48 PM
I don't get it. Why would you even need a calculator like this? Gambling is gambling. You will not be truly be able to calculate your gambling activities using a calculator. Statistically the more you play you will lose everything in the end. Statistics has already proven the chances of a gambler to win in the long run. Instead of computing, just play it. Regardless if you know or not, you will lose after an astronomical number of games, so just play it and have fun.

one of the biggest loss in the history with a total of 216 btc
That 216 btc still a little loss, a guy who used betting on Justdice (when they are still using btc) loss ~7600 BTC in a bet at 96% win chance.

Is there a thread where you can read about that loss? Did the guy lose all of his Bitcoins, or was he just so rich that he didn't even care about it?
7600 BTC must hurt pretty bad, even for someone who's rich I'd think
I haven't found a thread on here about that but with the help of google I ended up on a reddit thread with the full story about the gambler before losing his bitcoins. $800k worth of bitcoins is very hard to climb back from.

It is on just-dice official thread, that player won his first 26 bets with keeping on increasing his bet amount. Unluckily he lost his 27th bet with an amount of 7016,  not 7600btc as numanoid say. Actually he was in great profit already on his 26th bet but as usual gambler, greedy is the main problem. Assuming that his first bet was his starting balance then he lost 1767btc on that unlucky day.

Oh my god, that is a lot of bitcoins for just one bet! So much money if he did win that bet. But, what you said is true. Gamblers get so greedy that they feel invincible on their bets we forget that there is always a chance to win. I think that guy that lost 7016 might not be able to sleep that night, thinking if he had just given up on the 26th bet, he would have been really about his winnings.

1868  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏈🏀⚽ POWERBET.IO 🔹 100% First Deposit Bonus 🔸 Instant Withdrawals on: December 16, 2016, 04:38:41 PM
Awesome. It is good to know that you guys decide to give 100% on our first deposit. I will test this site as soon as I get the chance. I will try to refer some friend to play with me. If someone has tested this casino, please post some reviews here. I very appreciate that
Anyway, I love the way you develop the mobile version. It is quite fast. Actually, it is faster than some other sites
Great job

I played here for several weeks, here's my input:

PRO's:

- Excellent odds, especially on basketball, which I bet a lot. Probably the best odds available, much better than directbet for example.
- Plenty of live events to bet on, probably the best interface for live betting, easy to use and intuitive
- Withdraws are instant, I get the transaction to my wallet within seconds after pressing the withdraw button
- I like the dark theme of the site, comfortable for eyes
- I recently tested the mobile version and it is very good: fast, intuitive, very well optimized.

CON's:

- Account required - though a bet history is available this way (which is actually good), also very useful for continued live betting
- Deposits are not instant, require 1 confirmation
- Missing some markets: e-sports and horse racing
- Not so many promotions, could use a few more

Conclusion: I had a very good experience so far with them and I recommend this site.

Nice review! I would give it a shot later and see if I like the site. What games did you bet on? Did you try NBA odds there? Also, have you compared the odds on OP's website versus other websites?

Hope to get more info, that 100% first deposit is really tempting!
1869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on Bitcoin price on: December 16, 2016, 04:21:26 PM
~snip

True, I don't think bitcoin will ever drop to that level again. Bitcoins are hard to come by because of the halving. Also, let's consider that bitcoins has only a finite amount in this world. Hence, when the supply is low and the demands is high, it will just rise and will not fall. So betting at $500 will surely lose, just to discuss this wager.

Well what if it does drop to that level? Then we're all fu*ked! Was just thinking, That would mean we all lose, first because we have so much bitcoins (probably not all of us) then we all bet on it not dropping. If they do gamble at the $500 point and they win we all lose because the price of bitcoin dropped.
1870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to win gambling with no lose? on: December 16, 2016, 04:15:12 PM
Simply put, its impossible, you can not predict the outcome of a gamble, that is part of gambling, this is indeed absurd in its core, you will never be able to not lose, losing is a part of gambling that it's inherent, and you should not pretend to change the laws of physics, which include an unavoidable % of losing in bets.

He's right, gambling is gambling. You can never control the outcome of a game. It will always be out of your control. Hence, being independent of your control, then you will never be able to "gamble with no lose". It's mathematically impossible to win every game you play on gambling. Well, technically it is possible but the chances are so small that you can consider it as impossible.
1871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be considered a "high risk investment"? on: December 16, 2016, 04:13:00 PM
It's never an investment. Why do a lot of people consider it as an investment. Gambling is so high risk that you should not even consider this as a way to earn money. Investments has higher chances of profiting without a fixed chance like gambling. In gambling the more you play the likely-er you will lose, statistics has proven this time and time again.

1874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: management of risk and money on gambling on: December 15, 2016, 03:31:42 PM
Bankroll management is key to a pokerplayer, now whether you can take that to the shitty gambling games you guys play is another story. i wouldn't entertain it personally.

Yes true. It's all about the bank roll in every gambling game. If you lose that bank roll it's time to walk away and come back another day. The rule I follow is to only lose what you can afford to lose then if I do lose it, I just walk out and don't look back. It's just about playing the game without any emotional attachment to it. Just play it and don't try to get back what you lost.
1875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: December 15, 2016, 10:43:03 AM
I think investing is more risky than gambling because most of investing websites are just scam, but in gambling you have better chances to make your bitcoin grow. How about you guys what do you think?
Both are risky buy but if im going to choose between that two i will always go for gambling , Gambling can easily play with out stressing your self gambling can be easily doubled your money without any experience needed also investment but in investment you didn't know when that website will be alive.
What he mention about is not online investing such as HYIP or Ponzi scheme. While investing in these stupid websites, users always know that the site will shut down in the future no matter what. Even the oldest site can turn into a real scammer in a blink of an eye. So do not be dumb to make a deposit into such kind of websites

True, HYIPs and Ponzis are actually not investment but considered as gambling. Your gambling that you will turn a profit before the ponzi turns into a scam. What a true investment site are those trading platforms. These are similar to forex or stock exchanges which are considered in the real world as investments. I would suggest people to really study where they are investing or else they might get scammed by professional looking website which in the would really be a ponzi.

1877  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: December 15, 2016, 10:10:55 AM
~snip~

Have you read the recent news? yuan is now becoming stronger than before and will be a potential threat for USD and could take over its place. china is now growing significantly and if they are keeping this up or even getting better and better there's a chance that USD will become no more king of all currencies but yuan will do. US government may thinking about it but it's just the matter about the time until it's proven who deserve to be king of currencies in the future

I also believe that one day the US will not be the most powerful country in the world because it is not producing anything and just outsourcing everything. Also, their laws are really difficult for companies to do business in. Especially their tax laws. So a lot of big corporations like Apple moved its headquarters away from the US because they can get better tax treatment elsewhere. In effect the US is losing income. Most of the time, money equates to power and if without money the US may fall. The world's powers will shift one day to another country. The fall of the USA is the fall of the USD.
1878  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the Bitcoin price ever drop back down to $500? on: December 15, 2016, 09:50:55 AM
Unless everybody leaves bitcoin, then probably. But I don't think it'll happen anymore as bitcoin has been getting more and more popular this days. Also there is no other clear alternative that would surpass bitcoin and in effect replace it. Plus the number of bitcoin in the world is just limited and the demand is rising up each day. So I think this will not happen anymore.
1879  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to be a good bitcoin investor to prevent scammed on: December 15, 2016, 08:18:44 AM
Number one rule is to don't invest in ponzi! The previous comments are correct. Only the ponzi maker/scammer is the only one earning (well some of the first investors). After them, no one else earn or even get their money back. So avoid those. Also avoid those shady looking websites that tries to imitate trading sites.
1880  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Should i Trust Genesis Mining on: December 15, 2016, 08:05:18 AM
I think crazyivan is correct here. There is no one that gets rich in any of these contracts anymore but genesis mining and all those other cloud mining. You have to pay so much money for the contracts then you don't even get to earn that much. Then they have some fine print that they will continue to operate until it is profitable. So when it is no longer profitable for them, say good by to your contracts.
