18741  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3+ Discussion and Support Thread 0.24$/G Free Ocean Shipping on: January 26, 2015, 12:14:23 PM
Hey guys,

If you want WIFI to work on your S3.

Just disassemble an old laptop. Pretty much any laptop made in the last decade which has wifi. And use the antenna in your S3.

You basically need to disassemble the entire laptop to get to the LCD, and disassemble to LCD to see the antenna's. It has the perfect connector.

At first I tried using an antenna from an iPhone but those were smaller. But any laptop wifi's should work. If you don't know how to disassemble a laptop just go to youtube and search for disassemble instructions.

WIthout an antenna it only detected 3 networks. 50% max range and kept disconecting every few hours about a foot away from the router. With the antenna detects about 40 networks and my router is 99% signal strength.

No idea why include the wifi adapter but not a simple $0.50 antenna.

Those are iPhone 5 that you are selling, not 5S.

5S never came in that shade of black either.

Most websites that are interactived these days are written in js. Long time ago it was probably php but much has changed in the language.

Yes I opened a short a while ago also. This coindesk news was in the works for a while. This is nothing but short coverings.

Apparently my post regarding my current post count was removed on January 21 due to the BTCTalk downtime.

So no idea exactly on how many posts I had but if you search my posts you can start counting from Jan 21.

This is a very unprofessional looking company. Hire come software coders and make it automated. Having to send an email to make a trade is crazy. This isn't the 1980s.

I tried rebuilding the wallet but now it says transaction failed by daemon.

I can send 1 or 2 coins but not the entire wallet.

Where this coins came from ? Is it mining ? Or does this wallet from pool ?
Sometimes pool's wallets have a lot of many inputs, a dust, wich is hard to spend.

I mine directly to my computer wallet and then after a few days I send the coins to my exchange wallet (which is where it failed)

Can you send me a logs from daemon and wallet (uf you were sending from gui it is in one file) to crypto.zoidberg@gmail.com ? I'll try to figure out what happend.

Thanks for your help but turns out that formatting and re-installing everything from scratch fixed the issue. No idea what caused it.

Deleting the block chain didn't do anything or re-installing a new wallet. Only a format fixed the issue.

Thanks to everyone who helped out.

18756  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How did I solve 1 Block this quick? on: January 25, 2015, 01:32:16 AM
Well, maybe I'll let them keep a few bitcoins and let them know I found them, but there will be one hell of a transaction fee for my services.  Or if I found a wallet with something like 47,000 bitcoins in it, I'll tell the owner I just decided to retire from PC repair work, and their computer is my last job, and it's free.

This is unlikely to happen, most of the people who call me for PC repair are too ignorant to understand the concept of Bitcoins.

And finding nude photos on a computer is actually pretty rare for me.  I usually spend little to no time looking through their photos, I just Copy and Paste the photo folders to a hard drive in my testing PC and them back their drive after the work is finished so I can save them from the non-running PC and be their hero.

Most photos I do see in the folders are something like 300 photos of their 3 year old little brat at the park, or their aunt Wanda's trip to the Spam festival.  I have no interest in looking at them.

So if you were a plumber you would look inside peoples drawers and steal gold and money also?

And if you found someone's jewelery or money, you would charge them a high transaction fee for your services?

Digital or not, its still theft.

18757  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Hash Rate Will NEVER Drop EVER! Read why on: January 25, 2015, 12:43:45 AM
You guys are forgetting that there are manufacteurs who are developing more and more efficient mining hardware at the moment. Pretty soon we will see 1Th/s per 100Watt mining rigs. Depending on the cost. Farms will start to keep hashing again and hashrate will go up.

A -5% decrease is hashrate is nothing. I am talking about the overrall view. In  6 months or 12 months? Will the hashrate be lower?
