Agreed but BTC has a max supply of about 21,000,000 whereas ETN is ridiculous. The mining in and of itself is not a problem but the flood of free coins which drives demand down, and in this case will keep it there for a long time. If I mined 50k of these within last 2 days i would be dumping as we speak. Miners just taking advantage of a flawed AND horrible ICO.

For your easy reference, the max supply is 1,000,000,000 ETN (21 Billion). A bit too much if you ask me but hey. It turned out to be a profitable coin. Congrats to all ICO investors. Too bad they can't sell their ETN yet.

Are you really this naive to not understand that? Have you heard of Supply + Demand? When the supply is much more than the demand then the price will hit the floor.

Majority of the miners dont give a fuck about the project and will dump all the coins they mined at any price they like BUT INVESTORS do.

The amount of ETN coming into cryptopia is concerning. It's not all from 1 days mining surely? And no one else can access their coins. The devs need to get onto this and communicate better.

The most over-hyped coin, Electroneum [ETN] just hit exchanges on Cryptopia. I just amazed, It's trading at about $.25 worth of usdt. The company has not released the wallet yet so probably only people trading are miners. Is not it?

Miners are the ones PROTECTING the blockchain. They add and verify/confirm transactions.
Want to transfer your coins from ICO website to exchanges? If it were not for the miners, you will not be able to do so.
I am not a miner but I appreciate the value they are adding to the blockchain.

i have been using the beginner mining pool software from electroneum to mine the coins for one full day but when i checked my CLI wallet, the balance is showing zero, unlocked balance is also zero, what went wrong here? I am sure i entered the correct public wallet address. i selected asia pool in the mining software, in the CLI software, do i need to issue command to select which pool i am using?
