1881  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BEWARE OF Pacavra SCAMMER. DO NOT BUY FROM Pacavra SCAMMER DO NOT TRUST Pacavra on: November 26, 2016, 09:43:26 PM
Most scam attempts on here are so poor that it's blatantly obvious that they're a scam.
There are usually a lot of tale-take signs to look out for too as mentioned above.
Make sure to have your trust network set to default or on a low level and always look through a user's trusted and I trusted feedback.
It's also usually best to use escrow as that way both parties are safe. If a seller refuses to use escrow then it's more than likely that they won't be able to deliver said goods and you know to steer clear.

I advise you to open a thread in the Scam Accusations board and posting proof to backup your claim. It will help potential future buyers as well as help clear up any questions people have regarding this dispute.
1882  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Blockchain Venture We're Launching! on: November 26, 2016, 09:34:17 PM
This is definitely something to watch. Given the people heading it it's definitely going to gain some traction.
OP, how are you connected to this project? Is there any way that you'd be able to verify yourself?

Thank you Smiley

That was quick! Thanks. I've added this to my watch list. Looking forward to seeing the announcement Smiley
1883  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Any interest in a project management app? on: November 26, 2016, 09:21:20 PM
I don't exactly see any USPs (unique selling points) with this application to make it better than any of the other existing competition.
It seems like an awful lot of work to do for something that isn't so novel. I get that the smart contracts aspect is a twist but I wouldn't think that there's a big enough market for it.

1885  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Auction] Rare MS67 #3 10LTC Coinographic coin! on: November 24, 2016, 01:22:51 PM
I'm very tempted to participate in this.
I was burned by Coinographic in more than one way but there's no arguing about the beauty of some of the coins they made.
OP, does this come with the original presentation box as well?
1886  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Secret Santa! on: November 22, 2016, 05:42:33 PM
As posted above this could very well work on the collectables board. There are lots of sales threads posted regularly there and there are a lot of collectables going round.
The only problem I see with this is that the collectables all have different values so unless someone is willing to gift someone an expensive coin and not expect something equal in return, there'd have to be some sort of system implemented to ensure fairness with the gifts.
1887  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Microsoul Coin Collection on: November 22, 2016, 05:37:55 PM
This is quite the collection. I really like the coin they commissioned in collaboration with CI. That design is just sweet!
Do you know what happened with the treasure hunt/challenge? Was the series completed and were any if not all the prizes claimed? I don't recall reading about how it ended.

1889  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Multiple brand gift cards on: November 22, 2016, 01:59:20 PM
You will have more of a chance sourcing these gift cards on Paxful.
However make sure that the sellers are trusted as a log of gift card resellers both on here and on Paxful are selling carded codes which will ultimately get cancelled.
The rate on here for most legally obtained gift cards ranges from 75-85% of face value. Hacked cards obviously retail for significantly lower rates.
I do not care how the cards were obtained, as long as they are for my mentioned price.

Then I recommend using Paxful. There's more chance of finding what you're looking for there. The only downside is that the cards may get cancelled and if they were fraudulently obtained and you were caught possessing them then you'd be legally liable to pay any costs and/or penalties.

1891  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [1000 Bitcoins] Be a part of bitcoin history! on: November 21, 2016, 07:06:48 AM
As you stated in the OP yourself this isn't really a 'new' idea.
I think that the reason why the million dollar homepage was a success was because it was a novel idea that nobody had heard of before.
This site now just seems like a blatant attempt for you to get rich. Besides, asking for 1 BTC per spot is quite ridiculous. You may get a few sales of the price was actually reasonable but at that price I genuinely fail to see why anyone would sign up.
1892  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Samsung Galaxy S7 on: November 21, 2016, 06:48:20 AM
Scary to buy this, though. This might explode during transport, and in the end, you don't get the item. Too much controversy on this phone.

The Note 7 had the battery issues.
Although there was a case where the Galaxy S7 reportedly exploded too, Samsung recently announced that they found no evidence to suggest that the S7 phones had a faulty battery.
I wouldn't be too worried about that if I were you. If the phone would have a problem of such severity then I'm sure Samsung would replace it with no problem.
I'd just be more concerned about getting the phone and then making sure the phone doesn't get blocked after you receive it.
1893  Economy / Goods / Re: Money in your Paypal account on: November 20, 2016, 06:37:53 PM
If something sounds too good to be true then it probably is.
I'm not saying that OP is doing anything illegal but it seems like the method involves you (irreversibly) sending BTC in exchange for (reversible) PayPal funds.
It's extremely likely that you will be paid using hacked PayPal accounts (that can be the only logical reason for the difference in the BUY/SELL rate) and ultimately you'll lose both your BTC and have your PayPal funds reversed and account closed.
1894  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] The Keyois Capsule, a New Type of Physical Bitcoin. UPDATE: an X-RAY on: November 20, 2016, 01:03:19 PM
This project is absolutely amazing!
I love how dedicated you are and the extent to which you are trying to ensure that this product is really a long term storage solution.
Thanks and good luck!

Edit: Just seen the price in the OP. Definitely a reasonable price considering all the work and effort that has gone into making this.
1895  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] AUTOGRAPHED MINING POOLS BOOK & COINS FEATURED IN THE BOOK! on: November 20, 2016, 07:26:55 AM
The book looks nice. I wonder what the model was thinking when asked to hold the coins  Grin
Are all the coins funded (with seats) or would the buyer have to buy the seats in addition to the winning bid? Thanks Smiley
1896  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [AUCTION] BTCC artist’s proof One Bitcoin coins (five available) on: November 20, 2016, 07:23:16 AM
How many of these coins have been/will be sold?
In the OP it says that less than 100 were made but do you have any figures on the total number of these coins in supply? What will happen to the rest of the coins that you aren't planning on selling?

1898  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [PRE ANNOUNCEMENT] NaTTyMiNd's 5 OZ SILVER GODDESS by Eleutheria on: November 16, 2016, 11:16:46 PM
I'm really excited for this. Not sure if I'll be participating in the auction but if you meet your target price +/- a little on either side I'll be very interested in getting one (despite my attempts to stop buying physical cryptos).
Good luck with the auction!
1899  Economy / Services / [WTB] Need some Web Development Service on: November 16, 2016, 09:28:53 PM
Hi,
I'm looking for someone to design and develop a website for me.
The website should be a single page website with a set template.
I would want to be able to have full access to the template and to be able to replace the photos and product description whenever needed.
I don't want to change the site layout but to simply just replace the photos and text in the set template.

If you think you can do this then please post below. Don't PM me as I will ignore all PMs unless I initiate contact.
Please make sure to provide post work too.

Thanks
1900  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling My Artiphon 1! White - #1 Instrument on Kickstarter! on: November 14, 2016, 11:16:04 PM
What's the different between this and the one that Artiphon sell on their website for $399? I understand that this was an original kickstarter reward but is there any difference between the two?
Thanks

The difference is you get it immediately. I was very early on the backer list, and got ahold of the first units they've made, If you order one from the website you're likely to not receive it until late next year.

Hust a disclaimer, I could be wrong about this. However it seems like they are already shipping. Their website Q&A says that the White Artiphon 1 devices are shipped within 2 weeks of an order being made and the black ones within 4 weeks of the order being made. Yes this isn't 'immediate' but in no means is it unreasonable. It's your product so you choose the price but I just don't see what justifies the 100% + price rise.
