anyone else amazed by last 3 hours of trading... Not anymore, those huge swings barely get my attention these days.

So, are there no BFL products in the wild yet?
They have produced and delivered some FPGA units, people seemed quite happy with them. So yeah they have produced products. But BFL ASICs, I dont think any in the wild. Two problems with that thinking, though I thought along the same lines at one time. First, Thomas Van Riper also produced FPGAs and in fact is still selling them(BTCFPGA), yet he failed miserably at producing an ASIC product. Secondly and more ominously, BFL had a stash of FPGA chips that they turned into FPGA products and when those ran out they stopped selling FPGAs. While this isn't in itself an indictment, the fact that they sanded the markings off the chips and didn't seek a new supply/continue selling is disturbing. To compound concerns they trashed the FPGA market when they ran out of chips to sell by announcing an ASIC product on a timeline they couldn't hope to meet.

Coinbase is bought out for the day. Actually they are down for maintenance. Worked just fine for me, until I tried to buy the dip. Then I got a msg saying they were bought out for the day.

Irregularities in the die pics they've recently posted have me considering betting against them and I never bet outside of a poker room.

They really need to offload customer service to someone as they're too busy to perform even the most basic levels of support. I have infinitely more confidence in the Avalon team than I do their competition, but the lack of communication is again getting silly.

There's no way to be among the first to receive a BFL product even if they are legit. Their backlog is huge and their first crop of chips is microscopic by comparison. Regardless of what they say, if you were to place an order now you'd be lucky to receive it by this fall.

That hardly screamed insecurity at all...

I don't find their ridiculous excuses for the delays to be at all credible and please don't get me started on comparing Van Riper to Vleisides.

Definitely. Hold onto something safe...like fiat.

I concur with with Yogafan on the "Its almost like you want them to fail" part. As someone who has a vested interest in their upcoming line and in addition to that a potential customer of other bitcoin mining products; I would like to ask you to please stop the FUD. What you are doing is not helpful at all for the community at large nor is it informative.
If and when BFL turns out to be a failure / scam like bitcoinasic.net, that is when it would be appropriate to make comments like they are "cowboys" and bash them into non-existence. Wouldn't it be too late to warn unsuspecting investors of the risks/poor company performance at that point? If their true intention was to con investors, such warnings would be valid and warranted. However based on the evidence of their past endeavours and in addition to bringing one of CGminer's core developers to actually visit their headquarters in KC; its highly unlikely that they would go through all that effort to con unsuspecting investors. Pardon? They've been lying about shipping dates for EIGHT MONTHS...how is that not a con? The evidence of their past endeavors indicates that they're dishonest about shipping dates and power consumption specs. Hey at least they're consistently dishonest though right?

placing an order with BFL will not result in a product anytime soon...if ever. So, are there no BFL products in the wild yet? From their website they looked pretty legit. Granted, I am lord of the noobs when it comes to BitMining and have 0 idea about any of this just yet. Zero. Yeah their website is lovely.

there are some folks betting on a turn down below the all time high. most likely, they have only the interest to avoid prices going higher but I am not sure if they will manage. the upward pressure is huge, and their ask orders could well be a great dinner for the bulls. and when the all time high breaks, fasten the seat belts...
Also, half the wall is fake... DAMMIT! Why can't we ever have nice things?!?

Everything in (physical) existence is a duality (this includes virtual stuff), best known are things like like day/night, energy/matter, male/female, yang/yin, hot/cold, Coke/Pepsi, PC/mac, Etc/Etc - a piece of paper has to have two sides & anything that comes in to existence brings it's other side in to existence also, they can compete/cooperate & everything in between but there will always be an Alt, whether it is Litecoin or another alt to Bitcoin I couldn't be sure but atm it is by far the most likely candidate imo & so therefor well worth keeping an eye upon at the very least, there are niche markets where it may prove very successful & dedicated talented people working on applications for it - I am actively building a stake in it atm - which you can find it somewhere on http://forum.litecoin.net/index.php/topic,608.0.html hopefully, if you like. What about Ford/Chrysler/GM? Bad example. Two of those companies have been driven into bankruptcy and have received goobermint bailouts. I'm pro LTC btw.

(Everyone afraid to post after donald duck?) I was...bad karma, was waiting for a Mickey Mouse or Pluto post to turn things around. A 420 will have to do.

Going off all ive read, mid to late march is my guess. I seriously doubt it. Their current lie rosy picture leads one to believe that when the 6000 5000 chips finally leave the bumping facility that they'll have working products shipped within a couple weeks, but that's not at all realistic even for a company staffed with competent labor.

We know the supply of physical silver is also limited. What we cannot know is how much paper silver will be manufactured counterfeited. Advantage BTC.

Give them a little time to concoct another plausible improbability. +1 to Loaded I guess (if at all related ). she can put those paddles on me any day. oh wait, i'm not a bear. ...also if your heart is beating at the time it wouldn't be beating afterward. lolz at this "news" Can you elaborate?
