1881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin Down? on: January 10, 2018, 02:11:04 PM
The price is going down due to less demand for bitcoins because we all knows that price will be based on the demand so currently the demand is less and price is less. The less demand is due to people are movint to altcoins we can see that many altcoins prices are going to moon.Ethereum price keeps increasing over the fast few days so it looks like the year 2018 is gonna to be the year of altcoin.
But I am not frustated about these price falls because I know this will be temporary fall and bitcoin price will bump soon so I am eagerly waiting for that bump and i expect the time need for that bump is not that much.
1882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have only 200€ to invest on: January 10, 2018, 05:26:03 AM
Hello Im new on this forum, can you help me to choose good coin for me? I have only 200€ to spend, I was thinking about ETH/LTC but is it worth when I have only 200? Or should I try my luck with something cheap.
I think it is better to go with ETH and it will be worth it if your investment is long term. But if you want to invest on cheap coins you may lose your investment amount.I am suggesting eth because it has great potential after bitcoin and the price may bump with ETH in this year like what happened with bitcoin in 2017.
And one more think you can benefit from investing on ethereum, there is a hard fork comin on January 19 so you will get a free coin also.
1883  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info will not allow me to send my Bitcoin on: January 09, 2018, 03:32:15 PM
I transferred some of my Bitcoin to a wallet on Blockchain.info (blockchainbdgpzk.onion). The transaction is complete and confirmed. It shows that my bitcoin is in the wallet but when I try and click send the "To" text box where you enter the address to send the bitcoin never appears. It just shows 3 little boxes that fade in and out like they are trying to load the text box.

Any idea what's going on? The text box to enter the address to send my bitcoin never appears. I can wait for 5 minutes and it never comes up. My bitcoin is now stuck in this wallet and I cannot do anything with it. I have tried multiple times throughout the day for the last few weeks and same result every time. I sent a message to Blockchain.info support but have had no response.

I tried to send Ether and Bitcoin cash and the "To" text box appears immediately but I do not have any Ether or Bitcoin Cash in my wallets.

I appreciate any help you can give.
Sometime these kind of problems can occur with the browsers so you can access you accounts on google chrome which works best for me and I never faced any issue like you said.Don't use mobile applications for transactions because I have faced some issues when I try to send bitcoins to an address it send bitcoins to my wallet itself but charged transaction fee.So always use browser for making bitcoin transaction but you need to authorize you computer by clicking link in your email.
1884  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mining directly to Binance BTC Address on: January 09, 2018, 02:19:48 PM
Can I enter Binance generated BTC Address for deposit into Slushpool Payouts Wallet for long term use ?
Is this address fixed or changes from time to time and if it changes will the old address still be valid and I'll receive the money?
Or it's better to use other account like coinbase and than transfer to binnance. I just want to save on transfer time and fees (Network Transaction Fees).
No,it is not safe to store your bitcoins for longer term use in online wallets both coinbase and binnance are not safe so you can use blockchain.info wallet which is more safer than those wallets and in blockchain.info wallet the fee is less when compared to other wallet service providers. But for long term you can go with wallet which supports segwit address so your transaction will be faster and with less fee.Maybe you can choose Electrum but upgrade to the latest version because old versions have some vulnerability.
1885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cash Out ! on: January 09, 2018, 01:37:04 PM
I would love to know how each and everyone of the ones that don't HODL do to turn their bitcoins into cash.
I used to deposit in nettler but lately the 3rd party program that is bitpay is posing alot of problems with its new preocedure, only allowing a few wallets not including mine which is blockchain.
Please share your method here.
The best way to cashout your bicoins is through localbitcoin.com because it is available in almost all the countries so you can convest directly into your local currency.Or you can sell them in coinbase exchange if your country supports that offer but coinbase selling offer is only available in 32 countries.
But storing your bitcoins in a third party online storage is not secure so you have to store your bitcoins if your wallets has private keys.Blockchain.info wallet is safer when compared to coinbase wallet but still it can be hacked so if possible move to an hardware wallet.
1886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Guru says BTC and BCH going to 10k then 50k on: January 09, 2018, 08:36:21 AM
Anyone can predict that bitcoin price will reach this stage in some years but there is no guarantee that price will attain because price of bitcoin is too volatile so we never know when it will reach $50K.I think bitcoin will reach $50K in 2020 because now a days the price of bitcoins is stabel and it will slowly rise in the coming days.
But BCH is not going to anywhere soon it will lose its value so it is better to sell our BCH as soon as possible to make money out of it or trade them for ethereum because ethereum price keeps increasing in recent days.
1887  Economy / Marketplace / Re: how to turn your blockchain balance into real money? on: January 09, 2018, 06:30:43 AM
I don't know how to cashout? I am from Romania, what are the possibilities to cashout a large sum of money at once?

1) It's not blockchain balance, it's your bitcoin balance. If you have the money stored on blockchain.info, it's still bitcoin, blockchain.info is just a site where you can store your Bitcoin.

2) If you want to cash out a large amount, you're best off using an exchange. However, the main issue with that is that you end up paying fees. If you can't do an exchange, maybe the currency exchange section on this forum will be of use to you.

Yeah if he want to cash out he needs to transfer that amount to an exchange for example localbitcoins.com which also available in Romania. But the fee is considerable less in blockchain wallet when compared to coinbase or electrum. But he also have to pay deposit fee for depositing in localbitcoin wallet. If he don't want to pay extra amounts he can search for a trusted direct traders on here forum. But as a newbie he may caught get in the hands of scammer so it is better to go with the exchange so his money will be safe.
1888  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ( Borrowed Money for Bitcoin Investing OR Trading ) on: January 08, 2018, 04:16:43 PM
Study: 22% of Bitcoin Investors Used Borrowed Money For Trading

According to LendEDU, a personal loan research firm, more than 18 percent of Bitcoin investors have used borrowed money to trade the cryptocurrency. In a global survey of 672 active Bitcoin investors, researchers asked traders the method they used to fund their cryptocurrency trading accounts. The majority of investors used banking systems such as credit cards and ACH transfers to fund their accounts.

But 22 percent of traders revealed that they have not paid off their credit and debit cards after purchasing Bitcoin, effectively investing in the cryptocurrency with borrowed money. The report read:

“The wisest and most frugal way to fund a virtual currency exchange account would be through an ACH transfer, which is completely free of charge. Only 18.60 percent of our 672 Bitcoin-invested respondents were paying for the cryptocurrency in this fashion.

However, this was not even the most pressing concern coming from the LendEDU poll. That recognition belongs to this data-point: 22.13 percent of Bitcoin investors did not pay off their credit card balance after purchasing Bitcoin.”[1] By Joseph Young

A. If you do not have money (bankrupt)
1. Do you use borrowed Money to start investing in bitcoin?
2. Do you use borrowed Money to start trading in bitcoin?

Borrowing money for bitcoin investing is not a good idea because price of bitcoin is highly unstable so the prices may fall at any time.So the people who bought bitcoins with the borrowed money will suffer alot and may faces legal actions for not paying back the debts. So it is better to earn some money with your job and invest your savings only on crypto currencies.
I don't want to start investing and trading of bitcoin with borrowed monwy.
1889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing Bitcoin supply on: January 08, 2018, 12:39:29 PM
I am asking this question for my knowledge as I don't know the real fact as a newbie, We know that Bitcoin has limited supply compare to new altercoins, As the supply is not too big, Bitcoin price has become very high, My question is ,Is it impossible to increase the bitcoin supply mining new bitcoins further more ?  Thanks in advance

Increasing the bitcoin supply will leads to the decrease in the price because the price of bitcoin is high because the demand is high and the supply is low.If someone increased the supply it will dilute the demand and the price also will fall.
I think bitcoin limited amount can be increased by the creator if he wants but if he does then price will hardly fall so I hope bitcoin amount will be 21 million forever.
1890  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaigns with a high amount of minimum amount of post on: January 08, 2018, 09:51:44 AM
hi there

i was part of many signature campaigns. at the moment i don't participate in one because i did not get a place in one that was possible for me.

what do you think about campaigns in which you have to post 30 or 40 post per week. do you think this is really possible without just posting to reach the goal?

I think there is should be regulations guiding these signature campaigns and  a standard should be set by the forum moderators, 40 post per week will definitely encourages spamming which is against the rules of this forum most campaigns are between 20 to 30 post weekly.
In fact 25 post weekly requires enough research so as to meet up with the required standard from the poster.

Likewise 25-30 posts perweek is the good number of minimum posts then which allows the user to make quality posts and if they are asking for more posts which leads to spams. So most of the campaign managers 25 to 30 posts as minimum posts to get paid.
But some of the new managers or creating their own signature campaigns asking for 40 posts because they are looking only for adverisement rather than good quality so moderators have to make new rules for managing the campaigns to stop spammers.
1891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safest Alternative to Hardware Wallet? on: January 08, 2018, 07:41:26 AM
Make a paper wallet. Just make sure that the link for creation you are accessing is secure, for that check out this useful article: https://www.thesslstore.com/blog/5-ways-to-determine-if-a-website-is-fake-fraudulent-or-a-scam/.

If you want some extra safety, use Armory or Electrum or similar wallet that allows creation of private keys offline. Keep this wallet on the computer that is never connected to the internet. Sign transactions on this computer, and transfer the data to the internet through another, online computer. This way you will be broadcasting only your wallet number and there will be no chance for anyone to steal your key (he/she would need to access that particular computer locally).

Electrum is called as one of the safest wallet but it faced big issue of people stealing their funds we can get those info on the top of our forum too.So I can't say electrum is safest to store our bitcoins. The best ever wallet is hardware wallets and it can store multiple crypto currencies and uses segwit addresses too.But still people don't want to use hardware wallets.
Any way your bitcoin will be safe untill you keep your private keys in offline drive and never store private keys electronically it is best to write on a paper.
1892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can myetherwallet get hacked? on: January 08, 2018, 04:55:28 AM
Hi, i have backupped my pvkeys on an usb stick. I wrote it also down on a piece of paper. My computer broke. I put a metal pin through the harddrives. I will not buy a new pc soon. So i wont check in on myetherwallet for some time. I cant click on phishing links. My question is : are my funds safe? Can myetherwallet get hacked? Can my funds dissapear even when i have no computer, hid my keys? Im to stupid to work with a ledger or trezor. Can something happen to it like with the parity/kill?

No one can access your MEW unless they have private keys so if you have the private keys then your funds will be safe even if you don't have the computer. You need to understand that crypto currencies are online currencies so they will be stored in online network,it is not stored in your computer so you can access them anywhere if you have the private keys.
And then why you stupid to work with hardware wallets it is the most safest wallets for crypto currencies so if you can buy one of those your are not stupid anymore.
1893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $10000 investment ($500 in 20 different coins) WHAT WOULD YOU CHOOSE?? on: January 07, 2018, 04:46:47 PM
Hello guys,

Im thinking about choosing 20 different coins and investing $500 on each  Grin Grin Grin
My idea is to choose coins with medium-low capitalization with good technology, serious project and high chances of consistent growing in the next 6-12 months.
Also i wanna include some of them that dont have that much a serious project but look like they can go to moon suddenly (if only one of them does a x1000 then I dont care about the rest..... Grin Grin Grin)

What would you choose??

If someone can answer exact answer for this they can be a millionaire soon.

But to be honest no one knows which coin price will increase so do your own research because you are going to invest your own money. You can go to coinmarketcap website then choose the coins based on your criteria but it is better to invest on four or five good coins than 20 low capital coins in my opinion.
I suggest you to buy
1.XRP
2.XRB
3.SC
4.ETH
5.IOTA
1894  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2,4 million in 30 days ? on: January 07, 2018, 01:22:20 PM
there are more than 1000 types of crypto coins on the market. with many you see that they sometimes increase more than 100% in value, my question is if the following is it possible if you start with 100 euros and you would trade every day in a coin and you make every time for 40% profit on all your bet then it is still possible that you have more than 2 million euros in 30 days??

here is the calculation 100 * 1.40 ^ 30 = 2,4 million

please explain if it is possible or not

Converting 100 euros into 2.4 million in just 30 days.Well I say it will never happen you may lose your 100 euros in 3 days looks possible.Altcoin trading is not an easy job it is highly unpredictable and in trading you can never trade without any losses.
Trading job needs more time and patience if you are doing trades in a hurry you will lose your money bro.So try to get knowledge of trading first and then you can realize that there are more number of traders who loses their investments who think they can be a millionaire overnight.
1895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ask about Bitcoin Transactions on: January 07, 2018, 06:50:36 AM
good morning, I want to ask about bitcoin transaction in wallet blockchain already 4 days not in confrim, status still remains Unconfirmed Transactions!
The more strange but the real, then I send money 108 $, but after 4 days even be 121 $.

do I receive a bonus?

The transaction is still in pending due to heavy load on blockchain network if you send that with priority fee it may confirmed already but you just made it will low fee so you have to wait until it get confirmed. You still can boost your unconfirmed transactions by bitcoin accelerators some of them offering this service for free you can find them at service setion.

And you will recieve in bitcoin so no matter of $108 or $121.you will just recieve the same amount of bitcoin you just send it before 4 days.
1896  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PSA: Electrum has a critical security vulnerability on: January 07, 2018, 05:32:23 AM
Tavis Ormandy, security researcher at Google, pointed out a critical vulnerability to the Electrum team earlier today. They immediately pushed a security update. It's advisable to shut down immediately if you are running Electrum.

Quote from: Theymos
A vulnerability was found in the Electrum wallet software which potentially allows random websites to steal your wallet via JavaScript. The bug presumably also affects altcoin derivatives of Electrum such as Electron Cash. If you don't use Electrum or a derivative, then you are not affected and you can ignore this.

Action steps:

 1. If you are running Electrum, shut it down right this second.
 2. Upgrade to 3.0.4 (making sure to verify the PGP signature).

You don't necessarily need to rush to upgrade. In fact, in cases like this it can be prudent to wait a while just to make sure that everything is settled. The important thing is to not use the old versions.

It's a bit disappointing to see that the vulnerability was already an open issue from last year. I guess they didn't realize how severe it was.
Mr.Theymos also informed about this issue in the headlines of our forum.

So people who are using electrum immediately upgrade to 3.0.4 version to keep secured from those thieves who are stealing everyone's bitcoin already. But electrum is considered as one of the secured wallet for bitcoin but it faces the security issues will decrease the trust about the wallet among users.
So if people who are having large amount of investments it is necessary to buy a hardware wallet to keep safe all our coins for future.
1897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Underpriced coins at the moment? on: January 07, 2018, 02:40:10 AM
According to your analysis, what all alt coins do you think are underpriced at the moment?

Where do you see them and which all do you think can give an immediate 4x or 5x move?

I am seeing a great potential at Bytecoin(BCN) at the moment and we entered at $0.005 or 0.00000042 btc heavily.

It is currently around 85-90% up and we are looking at a good rally.

Have you invested in BCN?

The price of all coins will be based on their demands so we can't predict which coin will go up in the future. There are lots of altcoins present in the market but many of them will fail to increase its demand and the price of the coins will be fade away with the time.So it maybe called as lucky if we have some coins which is cheap now but the price will bump in the future.
For me litecoins is currently underpriced coin for me so if you are looking for a coin which is gonna be the alternative options to bitcoin investment then litecoin is for you.
1898  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mobile App for Trading on Poloniex Exchange on: January 06, 2018, 04:47:27 PM
Hello,

Is there a mobile app for trading BTCUSD on Poloniex? I wish I can use MT4 mobile app.

Thank you,

For trading you must use PC because mobile applications are from third party sources so they may steal your money. And I think there is no offical app of poloniex present on goole store or apple store so you just have to use their website for trading purposes. Some people have issues in their official website of poloniex too.So it is better you stay away from any app which may take all your money.

Helll ther I have arranged 2500usd to invest in some altcoins... I want to invest in some very great potential 3-4 coins that can give me 10x profit in 1-2 years... I was thinking of ripple, please suggest me some more coins or tokens to invest in

XRP is a good pick it is showing good growth in recent days but people predicting that ripple price will fall soon because it was centralized by banks so it is better to choose some decentralized coins for long terms investments.
IOTA looks good coins to invest on long terms and I heard about a coin named SIACOIN which price is going to bump so investing on it also good choice but split your investments in 3 or 4 coins to reduce the risk factors.
