1881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: INOUE vs DONAIRE 2 - June 7 on: April 01, 2022, 11:45:25 PM

The prevous thread was actually opened for the discussion of the rematch. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5347394.0
Maybe joining the discussion there.will help you make the bet too. People still rooting for Inoue actually. Although we may not know what will happen still. Donaire could still counter. He did hit Inoue several times in their first fight sure he can do it again.
When it comes to power and strategy at this era in bantam weight division, always bet on inoue, unless donaire improve his combination punch, stamina, speed and body from those killer body shots of inoue. If he will still aim only using his left hook, I don't think it will work at this very moment, inoue knows how to bet donaire since their first match.

How can you bet for Inoue if he's always the favorite to win the match? There's no profit betting on the most powerful boxer in the Bantamweight unless you are willing to risk a big money to have a small profit in return.

Inoue's average odds are always playing at 1.00-1.10 at most.

But of betting, it's no doubt that Inoue has the edge in this fight but in their first fight, that was too close and Inoue suffers heavy injuries for the first time.
1882  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Drake became partners of the Stake Casino on: March 31, 2022, 11:36:20 PM
Stake wont make out partnerships if they dont see that they wont really be getting any benefit from it which its not actually surprising for their actions that had been made.
Drake does have lots of followers or fans which it is really a good exposure or boost up for Stake since this is where their idol is playing on and its true that
this is really also exposing bitcoin/crypto existence which is really a win-win situation.

It's not just about Drake's followers but since he is famous and he plays with Stake even before, that results in the partnership.

The story was mentioned on Stake's website. They turned Drake into their partner since, after all, he knows already how to play with Stake and even got a bunch of videos playing on the site. I don't think those videos are intentional or even it might be, let's just leave it that way.

Did anyone try the instructions on the site on how to participate in Drake's giveaway? Though it needs a phone number.
1883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: March 31, 2022, 11:25:46 PM
I'm excited to see them clash again in the ring not because I idolized one of them but I wanted to see some real boxing where there's no rig or childish play in the middle of the fight. These two will surely give us boxing entertainment that we won't gonna see in the other fights. I hope it will end well for the best of the bests and if Inoue will win, he can finally move on and proceed to his next plan, whether to stay in his current division for the unification title or move to the next room where others champion are waiting for him.

There are concerns that the fight should happen outside Japanese soil for a much fair result.

If we remember, the result of their first fight was a UNANIMOUS DECISION and no judge sides with Nonito Donaire even he sent the Japanese champion to the hospital for immediate medication for his injury. Even Donaire was badly beaten, Inoue also suffers the same but still, all judges side with Inoue.

Inoue won't allow that to happen and playing on his homecourt, everything was an advantage to Inoue. If only it happened outside Japan, at least both fighters will feel the experience of not playing away from their homeland. Too many disadvantages for Donaire as he's not just facing Inoue but also the home crowd, judges, and everything.
1884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 31, 2022, 11:14:50 PM
A good night for basketball...  I hope LeBron is back.

Lebron James is listed as OUT on that game that's why we can see it everywhere, especially in the basketball discussion community that the Lakers are now done for. They have a tough schedule on their remaining games which I think, it's only against OKC where they can establish a win out of 7 remaining games.

San Antonio Spurs have a chance to take advantage of their next two games against a much weaker Portland Trail Blazers. If they won those 2 games that's already an advantage for them to pass the Lakers.

Without Lebron, the Lakers will be a practice game for the Utah Jazz but I make a bet for the Lakers on this game, a final one maybe. Smiley
1885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 31, 2022, 11:02:34 PM
It's now going to be a do or die for Magnolia and Meralco. But many are liking to see Magnolia be the finals opponent of Ginebra. Let's see it later this April Fools day who's going to be in.

It's a hard choice for those people who isn't a fan of either of that teams and just focus on betting like me. I don't side with Magnolia or Meralco but I like either of them to face Ginebra in the Finals because;

- for Meralco to get revenge on that JB's clutch shot way back years
- for Magnolia to complete the classic "Manila Clasico" on the Finals

The odds for Meralco seem tempting as a bettor but in any circumstances, Magnolia will be pumped up on this deciding game.
1886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 31, 2022, 10:47:53 PM
On the contrary, I don't think that Ugas will be the aggressor here, Spence will not let that. If he pushes forward, Spence will play defense of course but will try to go inside, just like in the Danny Garcia fight. In short, he will beat on you on your own game. That's why it's hard to put a decent strategy for Ugas because Spence will going to counter him in every move. We will see who will crack first here, specially in the first 6 rounds as Spence might have a ring rust and this could be the perfect opportunity for Ugas.

My thinking is another way around. Ugas won't keep that being not aggressive since he needs to make more points and make sure he will own most of the rounds. He is aware that if he just keeps on safety, he won't win against the judge's favorite Spence. It's already expected that while Ugas will come to Spence, obviously Spence will play defense and will not go close-to-close unless a good opening will be seen for a clean punch.

I can't consider Spence has ring rust since it's just about 15 months ago to his last fight but his medical condition last August might affect his actual performance in the ring. I also read some comments about their fellow boxers that Spence is not as dangerous as before.

I like how we are sharing analysis. Let's just continue.
1887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 31, 2022, 10:37:27 PM
Just want to make a bet for the last time to the Los Angeles Lakers. The game against Utah Jazz might be the one to seal the Lakers completely fall out to the play-in tournament. Aside from Lebron James not playing, the team is playing at their very worst.

Lakers @ 8.40

The only basis I can rely on is the strong Utah Jazz blowout their large lead last game against a much-lowered team. Not a strong basis to consider but who knows. Besides, I will consider this game as the last game for the Lakers so I'm expecting the current roster will do their "best"?.

Goodbye Lakers, See you next season if you lose this game. Cheesy
1888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 30, 2022, 11:51:33 PM
There is not much time left for a solid game: Cleveland Cavaliers - Dallas Mavericks. Mavericks are seen as the favourite team of this game now by the bookmakers. The odds are paying out like this: Cavs: 2.10, Mavericks: 1.76. Mavericks are in a good condition in their conference. Their place is secured for now but I can't say the same thing for Cavs. Because they have gone down to the seventh position in the standings and fighting for climbing to top 6 again. Maybe it will be hard but Cavs might have a chance here to win.

As of writing, the Cavaliers are in lead at 7 points after being down for at least 8 points max in the early minutes.

But knowing Mavericks, that shouldn't be a problem for them not to bounce back later in the game. If the Cavaliers will able to maintain their good ball rotation after redeeming the lead, they can probably win the game.

Anyways, too early to speculate as halftime is just approaching. If you think the Cavaliers will win, try betting on the Live Bet although it should be good timing when they are downed by 5-8 just a while ago.
1889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: March 30, 2022, 11:41:11 PM
Watching Ginebra the whole conference I though they can’t make it into the finals since they are on the bottom during the quarter finals, and it looks like to me now that it is part of their strategy to play at the lower bracket so they can get an easy win going into the finals.

Are you fine, mate? To play in the lower bracket to get to the Finals easily? lol.

The lower the standing, it's more difficult. Just for a recap, they faced TNT and NLEX which are dominant during the eliminations. Where's the easy path for Ginebra for that? They just did their best and proved that they will "Never Say Die".

They are resting for a much long now while waiting for the Finals. They deserved that before meeting up either with Magnolia or Meralco.
1890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: March 30, 2022, 11:29:36 PM
At last, it's now official that Inoue and Donaire will meet again for the second time. They need this second chapter as their first match is truly intense and bloody.

If Inoue will won the fight, that settles everything. If Donaire on the other hand will upset the monster, there's a sure trilogy. Donaire even at 30 years of age has the Knock Out power and seems not to slow down.

Can't wait for these two to meet on the ring.
1891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Canelo Alvarez vs Dmitry Bivol - May 7 on: March 29, 2022, 11:59:22 PM
I think the fight will test the mentality of the bivols in the ring , as we all know if the russian invasion of ukraine clearly affected the sport as it is today, and boos will probably still come out of the mouths of the crowd in that fight, but that's what bivol needs in the fight is to stay calm and focus on facing the opponent, I think maybe the promoter needs to carry out the fight behind closed doors so as not to cause anything bad from the audience, because I think the russian invasion of ukraine is a very sensitive subject right now on russian athletes .

That's what I'm thinking. Bivol is having that thing on his mind and even by 1%, it will still affect his mentality and purpose to win the fight against Canelo. He said in the interview that he has families and friends living in both Russia and Ukraine and those who live in the latter are always on his mind as they are the ones being attacked. Even he is a professional boxer, he's still a human being after all.

Since it's about months to go before the fight, I hope something miraculous will happen and will put an end to the ongoing conflict between Putin and Ukraine. Bivol and other Russian athletes will surely be happy about that and can remain focused now on their goals.
1892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: March 29, 2022, 11:50:31 PM
Yes, that is quite normal nowadays knowing that GGG and Canelo was two of the best boxer in our generations now, so we know the fact that many fans and people are also looking forward for their trilogy. Specifically now that there is a higher chance that it will happen, so often times people will forget that they still have their own respective fights that will be a test for each other if the trilogy will be interesting or not.

The Trilogy was expected to happen in September. GGG will fight next month and Canelo in May. If ever one of them loses on their respective fight, the fans will be able to move on it within 1-2 months. Therefore, after that period, we can expect that there will be another hype for that trilogy until the month of September, the big night in boxing history this year.

Win or lose, that trilogy will happen. It's just that on the side of GGG losing against Murata, it seems not to make sense to make a fight against Canelo if he can't beat a much easy opponent as it should be.
1893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 29, 2022, 11:38:11 PM
Maybe, Casimero's promoter already take care of it. Because if they can settle it outside, the better.

Promoters have nothing to do with that. And what do you mean settling it outside? Casimero has a legal team to care for the business and promoters only do their own business too, only related to boxing and nothing else.

Since the issue is now silent maybe it was smoothly working on progress. Or I might agree with the above post that here in PH, the case is rolling slow or maybe the authorities want to settle the case and the presence of Casimero is necessary which is just possible after the match between him and Paul Butler.

Guys, if just a few weeks' periods of sleep and we will now witness this fight.
1894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: March 29, 2022, 11:26:31 PM
Let us wait for more betting options on this fight, ATM ML for Garcia is not a good bet.

Since Ryan Garcia is a heavy favorite to the point that Emmanuel Tagoe, with a Moneyline odds of @7, is considered an easy opponent for him, I think we can't see any good betting options for Garcia. It's likely a Winner per Round or when the fight will end but that was a hard pick.

Maybe I will place a risky bet for Garcia to win at TKO on rounds 6-8, depending on my pre-match analysis.

But unfortunately, over just a week to go before the fight, it's still only Moneyline as a betting option available.
1895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 29, 2022, 11:14:36 PM
Both teams coming off a tough loss on the road against top teams in the West. No reported serious injuries so we can exopect a quality and close match. I would stay away from moneyline if I were you and just bet on total score or handicap. Maybe bet on Embiid or Giannis scoring over 30 points.

Stay away from Moneyline because the odds for both are the same?

I can't think of that as a reason why should we stay away if we have preferred a team to bet. Anyways, the game just started as I'm posting this and the line for Sixers moved from 1.9 to 2.1 downed only with 3 points.

It's a live bet so expect a frequent change of odds, always the case.
1896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: March 29, 2022, 10:31:37 PM
But it could be a very different Ugas against Spence. So Spence shouldn't rely on that fight alone. He should be prepared at any angle, any strategy that will Ugas used against him because if he reference the Manny fight and then Ugas changes his stance, it will be very different then and he might not be ready for it.

The fact that Spence is an undefeated boxer, he surely already knows that thing and is aware that he needs to expect different strategies that Ugas might pull off on the day of the fight. Ugas is very hungry to win and still has the adrenalin to be aggressive since he won against Pacquiao. The fuel of Ugas is just pumping up and will unleash on the actual fight.

While Ugas is thinking of the best and most effective method, Spence also doing the same.

Their respective strategies will clash less than 3 weeks from now and I'm very excited about who will win.

1898  Economy / Gambling / Re: Pmalek’s Collection of The Best Gambling Threads and Discussions on: March 26, 2022, 01:18:29 PM
Awesome list @Pmalek. Well done. What an effort of making a compilation while at the same time, organizing a thread like this. I'm amazed at the effort.

I noticed this thread on the list: Criteria of a good gambler

I considered that thread as a "generic subject" (not sure with the term) or should I say already obvious traits or characteristics about a good gambler in general. I mean while gamblers progress, being responsible is something built automatically.

Like the first pointer on that thread, "a good gambler never chase profit" - isn't it the main reason why we gamble? not because someone is chasing a profit, they can be considered as a bad gambler. Something like that.

Just my feedback. Please no hate comments from others. Smiley
1899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: March 26, 2022, 12:52:56 PM
And we can all suspect as to who is behind the sudden sexual harassment filed by some lady in the Philippines against Casimero. And it's obvious that they wanted to distract Casimero in this fight and maybe hoping that he will lose.

I doubt there's a mastermind behind that lawsuit since WCPC (Women and Children Protection Desk) is a well-established branch of PNP (Philippine National Police). They are the one assisting individuals or families that is afraid to file a case against abuse. I don't see any involvement of other parties to that especially those in the boxing scene.

If Casimero is really innocent, that case can't be a distraction to him since he knows the truth and eventually the case will close. Looks like the case is now properly handled as no progress happened or been shown by the media since the case was filed last February.

Less than a month now before the fight, Casimero is surely now well-prepared.
1900  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Drake became partners of the Stake Casino on: March 26, 2022, 12:36:28 PM
In the case of Drake, they essentially targeted those who are wealthy or well-known, because drake put a large sum of money on the line, which is why he became more well-known. I agree that Stake is already well-known, but they still need to attract new customers in order to generate more revenue. To this end, most gambling sites are actively recruiting big-name endorsers because they have a large number of fans but i do still agree that some will fail though they do have big names behind their website.

From my point of view, Stake's partnership with Drake is not intentional or he has been targeted. Maybe there's a point that Drake was vocal playing at Stake, the platform got his attention and from there the rest is history. Regardless of where it all started, there shouldn't be an issue.

Of course, getting new users on the site is continuous and never-ending progress. While adding good features, a partnership can be considered and that's what Stake is doing. Adesanya, Drake, etc. I'm sure there will be more personalities that will join the board while Stake is moving forward.

Establishing a partnership does mean that the Stake is getting bigger and stronger.
