The meta and the patch is stagnant, and I can't wait for the next 2 days before the patch drops.
Thankfully, the meta made the betting experience slightly predictable but yeah it's about time we get a major patch.  Cheesy

This is the Lina Major, not the Lima Major, but congrats to GG for winning it, although I'm not sure a lot of people enjoyed watching it apart from those bettors who just won their bets Cheesy
I also had a bet on GG but that series was so one-sided and it wasn't entertaining at all when it's just GG winning most of the team fights.

1882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would You Build your Own Casino(online/offline) If You Know You Can? on: March 06, 2023, 12:03:39 AM
If you made a billion dollars or even more, as someone who love gambling/betting and have been doing this on several other casinos for many years now, would you rather start your own casino?
Or would you prefer to keep gambling, doing your sports betting on other casinos even when you know you have more than enough money to start your own casinos and make the casino as big as you want it to be??
The downside with new casinos is that the competition is so stacked right now that a lot of them could struggle to keep up. It just reminded me of that year back then when several gambling sites launched at almost the same time and most of them aren't sustainable.

But then again with that amount of money, it's worth a try because IMO there is still room for crypto sportsbooks to improve based on what i've experienced between a few of the top crypto sportsbooks.
1883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 05, 2023, 02:18:46 AM
Not the same though. They have this Major locked in if Boxi is healthy. It is just different when someone in your lineup is suddenly replaced. But they have no choice, they have to prioritize Boxi's health. The effect of Boxi not playing is very evident against GG. Gaimin Gladiators walked easily on them on both maps.
Yup, it seems likely for them to finish third place after that one-sided performance from GG and my outright bet might not hit as the bookies currently have them as the underdog against Talon.

Atm, I want to double dip on Team Liquid given their odds are sitting at around 2.70 - 2.80 between different bookies but i'll just let my outright bet play out for now and maybe wait for the draft.
1884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you know any telegram group where a lot of gamblers meet? on: March 05, 2023, 01:42:59 AM
I also have to agree with chaser15, i've joined a few crypto betting groups on telegram but unfortunately, they're barely active so I don't think it's worth recommending them.

My suggestion is to try and use other platforms like Discord as they're probably one of the better places to look for gambling groups since the discussion will be much cleaner if there would be several channels compared to a single channel on telegram that can easily bury other topics.
1885  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 26-Feb-23] on: March 05, 2023, 01:04:23 AM
Weekly Update(link)

Moved Sherbet from PNYC to CFNP.
Added MegaPari under PNYC.
Removed 4cryptobet from the table.

Back again with the campaign [banned mixer] and julerz12 have announced 2 more slots are now available again for the full member ranking and these are added weekly as previously stated.
I've added them to the smaller table in case others might want to keep an eye out on the thread since they're regularly opening two new slots every Sunday or Monday.
1886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambler has 100% trust in each stake on: March 05, 2023, 12:05:19 AM
My question now is, As a gambler would you give 100% to a stake that you trust?
Nope, even though I have to trust the players I bet on that still isn't enough for me to put all of my balance in a single bet because top teams that have good players can still lose. They can still underperform on certain days which is why it's best to limit your betting amount per match. If it was back then i'd probably do it because I used to play for profit but then again that all in strategy is way too costly, you could get away with it maybe a few times but eventually, your losses will catch up unless you'd change your betting style.
1887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Experience on Bulk Bankroll vs Partial Bankroll on: March 04, 2023, 02:09:28 AM
I know we have different style and behavior. Some people might be lucky on bulk bankroll and others is like me who’s lucky on small bankroll. What do you guys use?
My betting style is similar to your partial bankroll, it's always best to place the same amount regardless of the outcome so I don't feel the need to recover the loss on my next round but i'd sometimes do a bet increase whenever I feel confident about the next bet like for example if I notice the dealer is handing out several aces or 10s on blackjack. I also tried to do that bulk bankroll style before and doubling up on a loss is one of the worst strategies for me because most of the time i'll just lose as it only takes a small losing streak to easily
1888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: bookmaker clone on: March 04, 2023, 01:17:21 AM
That pin feature from BetBoom doesn't exist on crypto sportsbooks that i've played but the closest sportsbook that I could suggest is Stake since their live score have an additional feature similar to the pin that would let you put it on top so you can easily multi-task but it's in a form of picture in picture.

The overall design of BetBoom's sportsbook reminds me of the other crypto casinos like Betcoin, Fortunejack and Cloudbet but these three don't have the pin you're looking for though.
1889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 04, 2023, 12:27:22 AM
We might see a closer upper-bracket final tomorrow as Team Liquid's coach posted on Twitter that Boxi won't be playing anymore due to a medical issue and their analyst Jabbz will be taking in the support role.

https://twitter.com/Blitz_DotA/status/1631782259475853313

The back to back games might favor EG's momentum plus their crowd advantage
I was about to point this out as well but I think one series won't be enough to shake EG off though since these pro players are used to playing several matches a day. And i'm hoping they'll win because I feel like whoever wins on the Talon vs Entity series would easily take care of SR if they're the ones to win the series.

It looks like Inter is guaranteed to hit for question #6, I thought Napoli would have no issues putting up goals against Lazio since I remember they look so shaky during the last month I bet on one of their away matches.

I guess i'll be rooting for the Aves tomorrow and hope they win so they could secure me a draw at best since that's the only different answer remaining between me and darxiaomi.  Cheesy
1891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 03, 2023, 01:05:27 AM
I almost thought we'll be seeing a third game because that second game should've been a win for SR but Team Liquid was able to hold on and stop their power spike during the 20+ mins mark.

With SR knocked down to the lower bracket it looks like we could possibly see a matchup between them and EG if they can beat Team Aster tomorrow.

1892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casinos lack slot clubs; comps, is it hard to achieve? on: March 03, 2023, 12:39:24 AM
The house will never gave up their percentage especially if they are already making profit out of it, they’d rather give more promotions that to lower the threshold which might affect their business later on. The site should value their players regardless of its money, because everyone is contributing to their business though most of the site gives more value to their VIPs and I think its fine as long as they also have other promotions.
I remember this was one of the strategies that dice sites used to offer, they'd have a level system that focuses on lowering the house edge. I agree with what you've said and that's what casinos are doing nowadays through their VIP rewards, back then VIPs are only for high rollers and you need to hit a certain requirement to be eligible but now they're including every type of gambler and they can earn rewards as long as they're playing regularly.

Old eleven is still a seasoned player that knows how to play around Xiao8's directions. I guess what they lack right now is communication and adaption to the current meta, which teams like Liquid is currently utilizing. Between Spirit and PSG.LGD, it's basically a coin toss, but Team Spirit is somewhat showing their form and their plays far better than what PSG.LGD is offering right now. That over 2.5 seems really inviting, but there might be a surprise along the way if Collapse steps up and make insane plays like he just did in the previous days.
You're right it seems like the meta is somewhat the issue for them but thankfully NTS dominated with his Storm Spirit in the second game.  Cheesy

In the third game though it was a complete 360 as Team Spirit really made good use of their power timing with the Drow and NP.

For the next set of matches later today, i'll be betting on Team Liquid -1.5@1.78, SR showed up against Team Spirit but I don't think they have a chance against Team Liquid.

1894  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡ LOOT.BET — Made For Live Betting | Esports, Slots, Mini Games on: March 02, 2023, 02:38:50 AM
According to what I see in the thread, I want to know why some casinos do not allow betting in cryptocurrencies and if in fiat money? I am not saying it only for this casino, in the case of other casinos I have seen the problem, why? Is it the licenses that complicate things? If someone has mbtc or any other cryptocurrency that the casino accepts, it should allow them to play whatever game they want with their cryptocurrency balance, because it comes to gambling, these casino behaviors drive away players, when I see casinos like this I just don't come back.
It's probably their business decision, I doubt it has something to do with the license because most crypto casinos have the usual Curacao license and you'll see some of them automatically convert your crypto balance while others don't.

Sure, it could drive away some gamblers that prefer to play with a pure crypto balance but IMO it evens out because there are crypto gamblers that prefer to gamble with a fixed balance so it shouldn't matter that much.
1895  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Online Casino Company from Malaysia looking for channels to accept bitcoin on: March 02, 2023, 01:13:55 AM
From my experience with several crypto casinos, there are only two ways, and the posts above already covered them.

I'd suggest doing the first one they've mentioned so you guys can directly deal with the possible transaction issues that can come up in the future.

Dragging the scroll bar saw few things like SABASPORTS, SBOBET, WBET. Are these any games or new kind of sportsbetting.
Those are probably the odds provider they'll use for their sportsbook as some of the crypto sportsbooks i've used are starting to use multiple odds providers.
1896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 01, 2023, 11:40:56 PM
Next game will be PSG.LGD vs Team Spirit. I was expecting these teams to be the favorite but one of them will have to go home after this series. I think Team Spirit is a better team but we cannot deny how dangerous PSG.LGD can still be. Another exciting game coming up.
I also expected PSG.LGD to be one of the initial favorites if only they had the full squad. Team Spirit on the other hand not so much and tbh this series should be closer than what the odds say.

PSG.LGD's +1.5 map handicap will probably hit but i'll go for the over 2.5 @2.12 as this series is likely going to a game three.

1897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Neither Good or Bad on: March 01, 2023, 03:20:53 AM
I also have to agree with the others that said it's bad because there's already enough information out there but people still fall for it.

I don't mind the others that find it good but for me when looking at the overall picture it's not enough to outweigh the bad effects of gambling.
1898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casinos lack slot clubs; comps, is it hard to achieve? on: March 01, 2023, 02:17:40 AM
Do you think online casinos should step up and offer items to consistent low rollers in their platform?
Yes, they have to step up if they want to keep their players because eventually there would be other online casinos that are willing to take that risk first if it means gaining more players.

It might just be my preference but I honestly think the bonus money that some online casinos are offering is the way to go for the low rollers because it gives flexibility on what they could get than receiving a specific item or prize. I don't mind if they provide a different prize because you might as well take it when other casinos barely give out any rewards regardless if you play regularly or not.
1899  Economy / Gambling / Re: shame on the stake on: March 01, 2023, 01:42:09 AM
That's the downside with live betting, on another sportsbook you can slightly make it faster but there's still a small waiting time, and sometimes their live score bugs out once in a while causing a longer waiting time.

I also experience the same whenever the match is in play but there's no point in going through support since it's out of their control. Eventually, it made me adapt to the situation and now I usually place my live bet during timeouts or do it a few seconds early to avoid bet rejections.
1900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 01, 2023, 12:00:47 AM
Totally aware of this but Entity always seems to have different playing style compared to the rest of the WEU bunch so yeah Im hoping that they'll pull through this. Anyway GG won the 1st map so good chances that they are going to win and pretty sure that Team Liquid is definitelyn not going to ruin your acca by losing to Talon though
Looks like you're on point with Entity as they controlled the pace on both maps from start to finish and EG can't do anything to turn the lead around.

Watching Entity deal with EG's Riki was fun though, while all hope is lost for them he's just consistently sniping couriers near the dire base and they're struggling to pick him off after dropping several ultimate skills.

Those that are eyeing for Team Liquid, we're all thinking the same guys. It seems that Team Liquid is going to be the champ of this Lima major but still too many things can change.
Hopefully, it goes smoothly for them as I have an outright bet on Team Liquid making it to the finals.  Wink
