The struggle was justifiable, Nets were a good team but missing Durant for many games really bring their ranking to go down, IIRC, they were able to stay at the top 1 this season. But look at the situation now, Durant and Irving is already playing, they are now a solid team.

If ever one of them loses on their respective fight, the fans will be able to move on it within 1-2 months. Therefore, after that period, we can expect that there will be another hype for that trilogy until the month of September, the big night in boxing history this year. Win or lose, that trilogy will happen. It's just that on the side of GGG losing against Murata, it seems not to make sense to make a fight against Canelo if he can't beat a much easy opponent as it should be. They had already played with a low performance all year and they caught a new losing streak all the time. When the team is missing even one or two players, they don't have much chance and they lose the matches. I think it will be difficult for them to play the playoffs this year, even if they do, they won't be able to do anything and they will be eliminated early on  I think that would really happen because if they'll be lucky to pass the play-in tournament, they are still going to face the Suns in the playoffs and we know how good this team is doing lately. Lebron cannot handle his team with an inconsistent Westbrook and an injured Davis. No chance if they can't bring a healthy Davis in case they'll be able to win the play-in tournament. Inconsistent players that surround LeBron he can't lift the team up alone, whatever he will do if there's no good help they will still suffer from being beaten by any team who have a solid teamwork. If they'll be eliminated earlier, the management should re-assess from the coaching to staff to the players. |

Since Innoue once defeated Donaire , I guess its easy to say he can do it again. The monster really proved himself to be the tough one, he nearly crushed the ribs of Donaire in the previous fight. It encourages a fighter when he sees the people around the ring cheers for him, it might be a long shot for Donaire for this will be held in Japan.
Most probably Inoue will win the fight, however, looking at the previous fight of Donaire, we can also say that he is back and could do the same knockout to Inoue if Inoue will not be careful. Donaire still has good timing in boxing, his counter punch is solid and could put an opponent on the canvas, so seeing a knockdown from Donaire is already enough for me. If Inoue will take the fight lightly and forget about Donaire's KO punching capabilities. The last fight between them was dominated by Inoue in the last few rounds, but there are some solid conversions from Donaire, it's just so happen that Inoue have solid chin and just ignores those solid punches. It won't be an easy fight for the both of them just as Murata is young and a decent boxer while GGG is more older but he had more experience and IQ in the ring, that will be his advantage for this for this fight. But let's not talk about the age because that's not an issue in this fight because it's just a 4 year gap between the two boxers, so it's not going to be an advantage or disadvantage for the both side. Murata's experience is not solid. And he is not young at 36. At that age, a boxer is considered as veteran age and almost close to retirement age. The only advantage of Murata in this fight is, he will fight in front of his home audience in Japan. It will boost his confidence that will trigger his determination to win the fight even the chances are low (green eyes in the anime series, Hajime No Ippo lol). But on the serious side, GGG shouldn't have any problem fighting with Murata. He is way too weak compared to other boxers that GGG faced since he turned 35. The Canelo-GGG II if I'm not mistaken was done when GGG is 36. See the gap 4 years from now, his strength should still be at 40 years old. Good point! Murata is no longer on his prime, same with GGG, stamina wise, it's not far between the two.
