Electrum server can know list of addresses belong to same person/group.
Based on the IP of the broadcasted transaction or anything else like from the input address they can find the master public key and know all address of the HD wallet?
1882  Economy / Reputation / Re: Members of the RedTrust leadership on: December 24, 2022, 12:40:53 PM
[...]then there will be many such topics in reputation. People will simply stop thinking, hoping that the more delusional the topic, the more compassionate those who do charity work will be.[...]
When it will start becoming abusive and obvious in regular basis then we all will grow a sense about it. Although I regret but it was fun to troll the OP 😂.

Why it's a self moderated thread?

This user is making low level and low quality posts which seem to be made in order to meet signature campaign criteria.
Quote
This user is posting nonsense in a football thread and seems to be posting for the sake of building up the account via post count and promote his signature.

I would not be surprised if this was part of a farming account or an alt-account looking forward to join a campaign.

Revised from negative to neutral: Clearly he types nonsense to increase post count to earn signature campaign fees.

He PREDICTED football scores and goalscorers incorrectly ONE DAY AFTER the games ended when results and goalscorers were already known.

(revised from negative 2022-03-16) SPAMMER: After I reported his constant spamming the moderators took action

Thankfully all of his spam in the Ethereum thread was mass deleted by the moderators and looks like they deleted spam from other threads too

This is expected from an idiot who does not know how to use report to moderator feature.

Definition of dead topic:
The topic left by the community for many months, weeks or even days with no response. The topic also lost in few pages of recent topics also can be considered as dead topics. In simple words, a topic that is not longer needed and nothing left to discuss is a dead topic.

Example one: Bumped after 9 months, even there is a topic already exists with recent activities: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5361336.msg61489222#msg61489222
Example two: Bumped after 15 days when the topic has nothing to add: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5424892.msg61454581#msg61454581

Talked about it before:
I noticed several times JollyGood wants to devalue everyone with his words who do not support his feedback abuse. This is one of the example from many. You are seeing he is talking to FatFork (in a discussion which was already dead) and deliberately choosing words which are troll, untrustworthy, spouting nonsense. He is doing it to justify his feedback leaving habit. The neutral I left for Ratimov was also found interesting by him as if it was supposed to be a negative.

The words he deliver towards the people he does not like, on his negative feedback he left for others at-least shows that he is disrespectful and feels happy when insulting the people he does not like.
@JollyGood my diaper baby, there are many examples I can bring where you bumped dead discussions with low quality unnecessary few lines of words either to fill up your signature requirement, or to devalue the people you don't like.

Stop being a hypocrite. How would you feel if I leave a feedback like:
BitcoinGirl.Clubxxxx-xx-xx No referenceSelf note: Signature campaign spammer. (This user is bumping old discussions with nonsense few lines of words and seems to be posting for the sake of fulfilling signature campaign weekly requirement via post count and promote his signature. Also, I would not be surprised if the user intentionally building up his reputation in DT network with his fake scam busting and cashing out from 1xxxxshit bad reputation so that he gain trust and some day when he will have an opportunity he will scam a large business deal.
Not to mention, he is a sadist.)

1885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Privacy wallets on: December 23, 2022, 07:19:26 PM
In electrum, you connect to the servers provided by other people and it allows you to choose the server manually.
If you want to protect your privacy, you should download the full blockchain and run your own server and use TOR.
How it's different to run Electrum with TOR connection?

1886  Other / Meta / Re: QR code integration on profile for address & PGP key? on: December 23, 2022, 07:13:59 PM
This could be good idea or stupid idea but what would it be like if we use the space on the profile to display the QR code for the address which has been entered into the BTC Address field?
I don't think it's a good idea nor a bad idea, it's just an idea which will not have any real use at all. Considering the importance of it over other ideas that we have already talked for over the years which looks more important, your idea is not going to get any interest. In my entire life I do not think I ever scanned a qr code for btc to pay.

May be we can only update a public address which is apart from our cold storage wallets. Endless possibilities but I think it will take time for perfect executions.
Why do you even need to use any address apart from the address you staked to prove ownership?
1887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: wallets that work with bet365 on: December 23, 2022, 05:08:34 PM
Even if bet365 doesn't consider taking crypto as deposits directly, they may do it indirectly by involving an exchange that may give them the USD worth of the crypto deposits and they manually or automatically credit it to the users' accounts.
Manually running the payment system for the size of bet365 bookmakers will be a wrong move. They will be wasting their human resources and a lot of money for that. I don't think any big company will do that. If it's a small casino with few hundreds of customer then it was possible. But company like bet365 have millions of customers and they will have thousands of requests to handle in such case each day even if not each hour.

The payment system for fiat basically goes though a trusted network. The merchants are the middle-man and they are given the power from the authority, they are liable to give explanation to the authority. So any business when they wants to integrate payment they seek merchants for it. If exchanges are giving that kind of merchant role then they can easily create a system and let crypto business to use it.

Isn't bitpay are such type of merchant?
1888  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to play poker with crypto ? on: December 23, 2022, 04:54:54 PM
Oh, Ok, but that's not poker.
Fuck! Did I not say they are not regular poker like playing on a board physically or even online? 😂
Look, I am not an old citizen yet like over 60 LOL but sometimes I feel I am becoming one slowly as I keep forgetting things.
1889  Economy / Reputation / Re: Members of the RedTrust leadership on: December 23, 2022, 04:48:12 PM
And got no merit for this post.
Wrong, he just received 2 merits.
See this is fun of not to be a merit source. You can do whatever you want. 😂

P.S: The wish from the OP is to take some good vibe and take all the criticism positively. If we all start hating a person without giving them a hope then they will not find any motivation to improve.
1890  Other / Meta / Re: Request: New Local Board for Pakistan (Urdu) on: December 23, 2022, 04:41:49 PM
I never thought I would see members who just received new local board (and we all supported that for some time) being against creating one more local board,
or nitpicking and finding flaws and mistakes in OP request topic, but I have seen worse things in this forum so I am not really surprised.
I have to admit that I was very unpleasantly surprised (and disappointed) but I guess you learn something new every day.
Lately I started to understand flumpnuggets (igehhh), she reacts first but after she realize. In the heart, she seems a nice lady. CB (CryptopreneurBrainboss) is such a nice guy but I really can not understand his stress towards the comparison with the Nigerian local board. Who else did I miss? All resistance came from these two users only, let's forgive them.

Looking at the bright side, everyone else are looking good and almost everyone is supporting the idea of having the local board for Pakistan people.
1891  Economy / Reputation / Re: Members of the RedTrust leadership on: December 23, 2022, 04:28:00 PM
Someone is obviously bored in life
No, someone was thinking:

With the account, I had a lot of spamming. Over 1000 posts with 0 merits. I see members receive good number of merits from meta board. Shall I make a post with an exclusive idea that everyone will like and give me so many merits?

No, I think I need to create a new account, start very fresh and make a post sharing my idea. Everyone will like it and my new account will receive many merits. Some day I will become a merit cycling club member like the BOT, Foxpup will hire me in the team and pay me some life changing btc. I will also take a spot in Chipmixer and make a lot of money.

Here the "I" is the OP 😂

1893  Other / Meta / Re: Request: New Local Board for Pakistan (Urdu) on: December 22, 2022, 11:10:27 PM
Come on guys. Why are you making is Nigeria vs Pakistan?
No community is superior and no community is bigger. I do not see the OP had any intention to devalue Nigerian local board but he took inspiration from it. Instead of making it a rival topic make it a support topic if you support the board, if not then just present your facts why you don't think there should not be one.
1894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's FIFA World Cup 22 Prediction Pool Discussion thread on: December 22, 2022, 11:01:54 PM
Where is the list of winners ?
You can check the leader-board on superbru.

But it's still a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to the first matches after the winter break. Time without football sucks.
Four days to go, so fasten your seat belt and get ready for the ride. The world cup was so frustrating for me that I have not logged in for several days and don't feel like to check my status until I am in good mood to make the selections for the match day.

If i'm not online within a week of the surgery happening, it's safe to assume things went bad.
All will be fine, keep the hopes up brother.
1896  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to play poker with crypto ? on: December 22, 2022, 10:38:39 PM
Blackjack.fun? When I participated in the signature campaign, I registered on the site and played blackjack, but I don't remember any poker options at all.
It was long ago when they first launched their website they only had backjack but later they added more games like a regular casinos do. I did not check but somehow it was a picture in my mind that they had poker same as SWC. Now checked their site again and it seems all they have are regular games from different providers. Even the pokers are too.

They improved a lot from the first concept.
1897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: wallets that work with bet365 on: December 22, 2022, 10:30:08 PM
Bet365 do not yet accept bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency.
They are losing a big amount of customers by not implementing them, they surely have the financial and technical capability of adding that as a form of payment.Personally I do not miss them at all since I found that Stake,Sportsbet and a few other crypto casinos fulfill all of my needs in sport betting and not only sport betting but much more.
I used to be a regular in Bet365, PaddyPower, Coral, WilliamHills and many more fiat based sports bookmakers but since I joined crypto and found the use of crypto I started giving them up. Moved to complete crypto.

For fiat based bookmakers it's the regulators that create problems for them to use a payment system that is nor legal or banned. So for them it's not that easy but bookmakers like bet365 obviously knows the changing of market so sooner or later they may consider adding crypto as their payment system. But right now it's totally separated.
1898  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DUCKDICE.IO DEAD SUPPORT AND UNPROFESSIONAL TEAM on: December 22, 2022, 01:00:36 PM
i lost a decent amount and didnt raised any voice or conversation if my intentions were bad about you, i lost it and i was knew it as its gambling. why its taking time from yours when i am here to provide any kind of document thats legally required for KYC where you can see my identity
bobstone, the support person made it pretty clear why you need to give them proof of ownership of the account. Do you have any address that was noncustodial means you have the private key of the address and you deposited some amount from that address? If you have the case resolving is easy since you will have very strong support to prove the ownership.

If you don't then may be communicate with them using the email that was used to register with them. If the email address is changed then you will need to tell them which was the first email that you used to register with them and send them a test email from that email account.

Instagram Ban Service & other ( TikTok , Reddit , Twitter , Facebook )
Such service you are promoting publicly? There are people who spend a lot of time to build their social handles and you are selling a service to destroy their work. This is a very low level business mentality. Fuck you.
1900  Economy / Reputation / Re: I have been subjected to harassment on: December 22, 2022, 12:42:51 PM
Someone who is regularly receiving extortion emails, offer emails like making you rich, emails from hot girls in craigslist, attention emails that your exchange is hacked, emails to receive free gifts and many more spams, will never react such way.

Those mails are handled by the Spam filter, it is rare for me to see it. In any case this situation was diferent it was someone that I was helping, I never imagine people going in that way shoting acussations without proof.
I was guessing something similar. Only a person who is not familiar with spam emails from fake gurus will panic when they will see such emails from a random email account. At least now we can see the benefit of receiving spams and check it regularly 😂

Consider speaking to a lawyer about your options. Remember that you are in charge - you do not have to deal with any of this if you do not want to.

I already talk with a lawyer, and he said that is a classic "I said, he said" without any proof of ownership those case are desestimed.
Now you have opinion from a lawyer so I do not see you should be worry at all anymore.
