Okay that trump won the presidential election in america because trump stand there and he does exactly what he said trump is like president duterte  Wink Wink Wink

Too early to say that. Trump would like to fulfill his campaign promises. But the big question is whether the establishment politicians within his own party will allow him to do that. He is going to face a lot of opposition within his own party.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zT0Rjc6jKCg&feature=youtu.be

Thanks for that video. It really does speak to the issue Trump detractors might have with his leadership ability. He needs to formulate policies that improve the situation for Americans in concert with the house and senate or he won't survive long.

People also forget (or maybe don't know) that in 2018 elections will happen in the middle of Donald Trump's term. 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives and 33 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate will be up for grabs. 38 state governors and many other state and local elections will also happen. If Trump or the congress gets too stupid over the next two years a bunch of politicians will end up without jobs. There is no electoral college blocking the people in the case of the house and senate elections. They will simply be fired directly by the people and they know it.

The enemy of the republic (most are domestic anyway) are hell bent on destroying the republic by all means... will they succeed in removing the electoral college? Warren is hot Wink but why? I still don't get it... what has she done in her life?

I think he's a good specialist in the field of economy.

Nah, declaring bankruptcy several times is not called being an economy specialist. United Stateseans keep thinking that.

The fact is, had he retired early, he would be worth twice what he is worth right now.

Still on that... can you even try to formulate one criticism toward your camp? How could you improve other wise? I forget you certainly know better. But why? Bcz (i help you start the phrase... then you can say I...).

go trump!

not every single one of his ventures were successful? shocking!

Not many US Government ventures are successful so he should fit right in.

Who did fuck your mind? Why shall us gov venture be successful? Define success first.

Business success is usually defined as making money. They were talking about Trump declaring bankruptcy several times making him an economy specialist.

The only example of success I can think of would be the GSA Auctions (https://gsaauctions.gov/gsaauctions/gsaauctions/). They successfully steal billions of dollars from people and sell it for a small fortune.

One example of failure would be the US Postal Service (https://www.usps.com/ship/welcome.htm).

Postal Service Net Income/Loss By Year

2015 - $5.1 billion loss
2014 - $5.5 billion loss
2013 - $5 billion loss
2012 - $15.9 billion loss
2011 - $5.1 billion loss
2010 - $8.5 billion loss
2009 - $3.8 billion loss
2008 - $2.8 billion loss
2007 - $5.1 billion loss

I wonder if FedEx or United Parcel Service would still be in business if they lost nearly $50 billion in the last 10 years?
1883  Other / Off-topic / Re: Sweden: Half a Million Sexual Assaults in 2015 on: November 16, 2016, 03:05:05 PM
In Arab countries the woman is considered to be a thing of the goods and for men.

You do realize that when you say "Arab countries", you are profiling a couple million people, right? Also, objectifying women is a Biblical concept in origin, so you can thank Judeo-Christian theology for all of that.

And there are more rapes than in any other country.

That is not true. A lot of Christian nations like Uganda beat the records in rape cases.

My husband constantly rapes his wife

I am so sorry to hear about your life, get help.

I laughed so hard reading this the soda I was drinking came out my nose. ROFL
1884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The grandpa challenge! on: November 16, 2016, 02:59:01 PM
Bittylicious is really easy, grandpa goes to site enters your bitcoin address and confirms to buy whatever amount of bitcoin he wants, he then pays the seller via sort code and account number in his fiat currency ......... easy ?   Grin

I gave him free ways to do it and that costs nearly $5 for every $1,200 sent. Besides I don't think ether of them have a UK bank account with online banking fully set up.

When you start talking about double exchange fees Bitcoin gets expensive. Bitcoin transaction fees are nothing but Bitcoin exchange fees in to and out of fiat are whacko. If you're going to spend Bitcoin directly then, at least, there's only one set of fees (one transaction and one exchange).

use a bitcoin ATM
https://coinatmradar.com/country/105/bitcoin-atm-italy/
hope there is one near him

alternatively use something like circle or coinbase

Here's the fees if your interested OP.  Buy: 7.7%, Sell: 5.8%

Also I used one of those Bitcoin ATMs in San Francisco and it was enormously confusing and I use Bitcoin. This machine doesn't work like a regular ATM.
1887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The grandpa challenge! on: November 16, 2016, 02:27:33 PM
Easiest and cheapest way for you to give each other cash.

You go into Voss Veksel- og Landmandsbank and open a joint account with your grandpa. Have an extra ATM card made and mail it to him. Have him go into a Deutsche Bank S.p.A. in Italy and withdraw the money using his card (they have a joint agreement so it should be free). He can also deposit money for free at the same bank and you can withdraw in Norway.

Yeah, it usually ends up with cash, which is fine - but I had hope for bitcoin in this case.

>He can also deposit money for free at the same bank and you can withdraw in Norway.

Deposit is the issue. He planned to deposit into my Norwegian bank in Italy from his U.S bank - but that seemed to be to hard for him.

But still, thanks!

Check out my PS: above. That might be easier. If you just want him to use Bitcoin for the fun of it then good luck. I have friends in their 30's that I can't get to fully understand Bitcoin.

PS: If he's so "out of it" that he can operate a debit card then send him some travelers cheques. They have built in fraud protection, are accepted everywhere like cash and you can insure them at the post.
1889  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Mike Pence believes that gays can be "cured" by electroshock "therapy" on: November 16, 2016, 01:59:05 PM
Christian freaks! They want to make sure people remain "normal" and their kids aren't corrupted. All the while they are sneaking into their daughters room late at night and playing with their vaginas after a day of beating and raping their wives. The worst perverts in the world are moral majority pervs. I'll take a gay pride rally over a Sunday church service any day of the week. There's fewer perverts at the gay pride rally.

Son, I told you, if you're going to fuck your sisters drug them with cough syrup first like I do.
1890  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: November 16, 2016, 01:14:40 PM
All young people should buy a house but NOT WITH BITCOIN and here's why:

Pride of Ownership
Pride of ownership is the number one reason why people yearn to own their home. It means you can paint the walls any color you desire, turn up the volume on your CD player, attach permanent fixtures and decorate your home according to your own taste. Home ownership gives you and your family a sense of stability and security. It's making an investment in your future.

Appreciation
Beyond pride of ownership, it's important to realize another benefit. First, real estate moves in cycles, sometimes up, sometimes down, yet over the years, real estate has consistently appreciated. The Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight tracks the movements of single family home values across the country. Its House Price Index breaks down the changes by region and metropolitan area. Many people view their home investment as a hedge against inflation.

Mortgage Interest Deductions
Home ownership is a superb tax shelter and our tax rates favor homeowners. Sometimes the mortgage interest deduction can overshadow the desire for pride of ownership as well. As long as your mortgage balance is smaller than the price of your home, mortgage interest is fully deductible on your tax return. Interest is the largest component of your mortgage payment.

Property Tax Deductions
IRS Publication 530 contains tax information for first-time home buyers. Real estate property taxes paid for a first home and a vacation home are fully deductible for income tax purposes. In California, the passage of Proposition 13 in 1978 established the amount of assessed value after property changes hands and limited property tax increases to 2% per year or the rate of inflation, whichever is less.

Capital Gain Exclusion
As long as you have lived in your home for two of the past five years, you can exclude up to $250,000 for an individual or $500,000 for a married couple of profit from capital gains. You do not have to buy a replacement home or move up. There is no age restriction, and the "over-55" rule does not apply. You can exclude the above thresholds from taxes every 24 months, which means you could sell every two years and pocket your profit--subject to limitation--free from taxation.

Preferential Tax Treatment
If you receive more profit than the allowable exclusion upon sale of your home, that profit will be considered a capital asset as long as you owned your home for more than one year. Capital assets receive preferential tax treatment. This means even if your profit exceeds the exclusion, the taxable portion will be much less than you might imagine.

Mortgage Reduction Builds Equity
Each month, part of your monthly payment is applied to the principal balance of your loan, which reduces your obligation. The way amortization works, the principal portion of your principal and interest payment increases slightly every month. It is lowest on your first payment and highest on your last payment. On average, each $100,000 of a mortgage will reduce in balance the first year by about $500 in principal, bringing that balance at the end of your first 12 months to $99,500.

Your credit score will go through the roof if you pay your mortgage on time every month. I've owned a home every year of my life since I was 19 years old and I don't believe my credit score has ever been lower than 820.
1891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will be see bitcoin as international currency? on: November 16, 2016, 07:44:08 AM
I kind of see dogecoin or trumpcoin being the international currency first, followed by niggercoin then titcoin.

$350-400 depending on whether you have a power supply with it or not. There's a shitload of them out there for sale too.

If Bitcoin's design was so broken as to allow this then we shouldn't be using it anyway. That means it wasn't what we thought it was. That means Bitcoin was just an early attempt to anonymize purchases for darkweb drug sales and it failed. If you get trapped with too many btc you can't sell, just go to btc-e and exchange them for ltc or some other coin that you can sell. I personally think you're all worrying about nothing.

1895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need an incentive to make first world population use Bitcoin on: November 14, 2016, 12:56:42 PM
I've been saying this for a long time OP.

Bitcoins initial success was based on a business that absolutely required people to learn how to use it. If you wanted to buy drugs on the Silk Road you had to use Bitcoin.

If we could start a mainstream (legal) business or product that everyone wanted which required the use of Bitcoin (like Silk Road did) we could start tons of people learning about and using Bitcoin. The question is, "what do we sell or what kind of business do we run"?

What product cannot be purchased by any other means, is in high demand, and can't be easily duplicated by another company? Unfortunately, the only one I can think of is drugs.
1896  Other / Off-topic / Re: Sweden: Half a Million Sexual Assaults in 2015 on: November 14, 2016, 12:38:27 PM
For a start, women can wear what they want, they are NOT responsible for men raping them, the men themselves are and it is the men who need to change their behavior.
Women are perfectly capable of making good decisions, yes, they are typically more likely to be pro-immigrant, but men are more lijkely to cause the wars that result in refugees.
And actually, Sweden have restricted their asylum laws quite substantially in the last year, so make sure your facts are correct.
This thread makes me worry for our future and for the future of your wives/daughters/sisters.

There have been more than a few women responsible for wars and murder.

1898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin was made illegal by your government would you still use it? on: November 13, 2016, 07:56:31 PM
Just the idea that someone would risk jail time for a payment system is kind of looney. If the government said you would get five years in a federal prison (no parole) would you risk using PayPal?

Let me rephrase it a bit. If you are holding Bitcoins worth some $25 million, will you continue to use them if there is a 0.001% chance of imprisonment? Or are you going to dump them and forget about what happened?

For 25 million I think I could relocate to a more favorable country to liquidate them. I wouldn't need to risk jail time to sell them off.
1899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin was made illegal by your government would you still use it? on: November 13, 2016, 07:00:29 PM
Just the idea that someone would risk jail time for a payment system is kind of looney. If the government said you would get five years in a federal prison (no parole) would you risk using PayPal? ApplePay? M-Pesa? Google Wallet? WePay? Braintree? Skrill? I understand they are different from Bitcoin but they are still just value transfer systems.

You're all making Bitcoin sound more like a sinister cult than a Peer-To-Peer Electronic Cash System.
1900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: November 13, 2016, 06:38:05 PM
Really? Bitcoin hasn't been below $700 in a while and now it's $688. I think Bitcoin is tied to the US dollar and will track its confidence pretty closely.

The current USD vs BTC exchange rate variation points more to a strengthening of the value of the United States Dollar, rather than a decline in the value of the Bitcoin. Check the USD vs UKP, USD vs EUR and USD vs MXN exchange rates. Ever since Trump's election as the POTUS, the US Dollar has strengthened against all these currencies.

If it's inversely tracking the dollar then Trump could be a killer for Bitcoin.
