1881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is winning at Sports betting actually possible ? on: May 27, 2017, 03:05:42 AM
I am just an amateur gambler and bet on sports. i saw this thread today on the forum of a tipster ajaxmoor and he is destroying his picks. i think he has more than enough wins i have ever seen in a row. If tipsters can predict games like that how are sportbooks not losing money ? is it just luck ?
the prediction of the tipster is not necessarily 100% correct and I see the history of ajaxmoor also had a defeat. there are many sports betting gamblers in this world and not just him who is a tipster. I'm sure sportsbooks also have profit from other gamblers. not just luck the intelligence of gamblers also affect.
1882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social aspect of gambling - do you ever gamble with a friend? on: May 24, 2017, 05:29:22 AM
I never gamble with myfriends because gambling is a bad activity. so I figured if anyone knows that you are gambling they will probably assume that you are bad impact for them and better to be anonym if gambling.
1883  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Pernah Kena PHP dari sebuah Site? on: May 24, 2017, 05:18:56 AM
rata-rata dari situs investasi bodong emang sih tawarannya menggiurkan tapi kok kena tipu Cheesy itu waktu awal-awal saya coba investasi katanya mining dan ternyata malah money game (hasprofit). pembelajaraan sih pikir-pikir lagi buat investasi jika sumbernya kagak jelas meskipun menawarkan tawaran yang menggiurkan.
1884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: i have a heck of a good feeling on: May 24, 2017, 05:12:40 AM
even though <<< whoever you think is to blame >>> almost totally fucked up and killed bitcoin,  it seems like we'll be able to move forward.  Great days are ahead.  Main stream hasn't even gotten on board yet.  I'm thinking Bitcoin will be $100k within 10 years.

HODL!!!
I think the person who continues to hold bitcoin for 10 years is a person who has a strong mentality. You know the price of bitcoin is very high definitely a lot of temptation to sell it because the average of those who hold bitcoin already get profit from it if sell it now.
1885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: May 24, 2017, 04:55:33 AM
bitcoin and gold have its own advantages if the matter which is better it's depends on how different people look at both of them. maybe choose gold because legal while bitcoin is not. or who choose bitcoin because it can be used as an investment and the profits exceed gold.
1886  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Komputer Rumah sakit Diserang Minta Bayaran Via Bitcoin, Apa pendapat kalian? on: May 24, 2017, 03:54:26 AM
menurut aku sih merugikan semua orang yg berada diruma sakit soalnya itu tempat orang2 sakit mala dihacker. coba sihacker nyerang prusahan2 lain Smiley kenapa mau nyerang rumah sakit
virusnya mah disebarkan saya juga gak tahu kenapa kebanyakan yang terserang institusi seperti rumah sakit. jelas merugikan kalau minta bayaran dan pasien diharus meentry data lagi secara manual kan ribet Cheesy. dan katanya udah dijinak kan bener gak sih?.
1887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: May 24, 2017, 03:48:41 AM
it includes the features of the bitcoin "freedom" bitcoin that you own completely yours and it's up to you to use your bitcoin. You should also know the consequences if it is related to illegal acts.
1888  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Bagaiman cara Membedakan wallet bicoin yg asli dan yang penipu gan? on: May 23, 2017, 02:39:22 AM
1889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day everyone ! on: May 23, 2017, 02:25:50 AM

Sad for Lazlo indeed !
We should think about a way to commemorate this.
A yearly donation of satoshis or pizzas to charity.

Sounds like a neat project, a lifetime supply of Pizza's for Laszlo would be amusing or maybe someone will make a Bitcoin Pizza franchise and he will be the face and advertising of it. Ha-ha
sounds like sarcastic haha. I can't imagine how his reaction now with bitcoin prices is rising and next time think ahead if to buy somethings by bitcoin
thanks for giving the original thread "https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137.0"
Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day For Everyone  especially for Laszlo
1890  Economy / Speculation / Re: How MUCH will the FINAL BTC be WORTH? on: May 22, 2017, 03:08:16 AM
the final value of bitcoin is not there we can only predict how far its value will go and I'm sure as long as bitcoin does not drop from $100 the bitcoin still worth no matter that value.
1891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think we are greedy on: May 22, 2017, 02:46:43 AM
I have been trying to deposit/withdraw fiat into different exchanges, and I found that most fees are absolutely ridiculous (7%-10%?!). With many options to deposit/withdraw fiat (and different fees), I think we are getting a bit greedy with Bitcoin.

According to Bitcoin price at the moment, depositing fiat worth of 1BTC ($2,053) requires fees ranging between $21-$205, while most of us want to transact that same 1BTC with something like $0.5 and getting rage over the delay!

I think paying $1-$5 in fees is relatively acceptable, since bitcoin price is rising every single day.
it's true we also get a lot of profit from rising bitcoin price so the transaction fee increase is fair to me. but which is very unfortunate if we transact with a small value I mean when the transaction $50 and fee $3  is very much.
1892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In the near future,... on: May 22, 2017, 02:35:25 AM
why anyone likes to tattoo his body I just don't understand that I think it just damages their skin. it should not tell that you have bitcoin because you are likely to be the target of criminals and it's better for tattoo "need donate your bitcoin address".
1893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I were Satoshi Nakamoto... on: May 22, 2017, 02:20:24 AM
If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, would you:

  • reveal yourself?
  • if so, how would you do this?
  • what would you think of Bitcoin today?
  • what would you think of altcoins today?

If i was Satoshi Nakamoto i would be the most richest person of the world and i would come on the media and become the most famous personality.
I think altcoins should be there to give people chance trade with bitcoins.
And be targeted by criminals and governments? You are one of the richest men in the world, and your money is held in Bitcoin, a currency that can be transferred to any anonymous account in the world if anyone gain access to the your wallet.

It is better to live anonymously. Maybe launder your Bitcoins and live like a millionaire. Without having to work in life and owning luxurious cars and houses. You can even keep up your work with Bitcoin if you don't want to give up on your creation.
Bitcoin is illegal and even a threat to government. example if one bitcoin user makes bitcoin as a crime tool you are the first person in search by the government and you are responsible as the creator of bitcoin. eventhough you are rich but the safety of life is very important.
1894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: May 21, 2017, 04:56:17 AM
only a few people ask me about bitcoin because the place where I live most of them don't know what is bitcoin. I also rarely talk about bitcoin to the people around me and my friends in social media already know bitcoin so no one asks about bitcoin.
1895  Economy / Economics / Re: Selling Bitcoin = Opportunity loss?! on: May 21, 2017, 04:30:43 AM
I do agree that bitcoin is still showing price increases so better not to sell and more to hold it but that does not mean selling bitcoin it loss the opportunity. we can still buy again and sell it at high prices maybe even our advantage so much more with rebuy.
1896  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: seberapa penting bitcoin dalam kehidupan anda? on: May 20, 2017, 03:53:40 AM
penting banget gan sudah jadi pekerjaan utama saya karena pendapatan saya hanya dari bitcoin apalagi pendapatan dari signature campaign dan juga sedang merantau untuk menuntut ilmu jadi harus punya pendapatan.
1897  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: bagaimana kondisi hidup anda sebelum dan setelah mengenal Bitcoin???? on: May 20, 2017, 03:44:35 AM
1898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Go to Land Based Casinos? on: May 20, 2017, 03:37:41 AM
I've never been to a real casino because in my country gambling is something that is prohibited and can be subject to criminal law. I prefer online casinos because my identity is unknown (anonym).
1899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: May 20, 2017, 03:29:01 AM
How does one Put down Gambling for good?
In my own personal experience you can quit gambling for good by focusing on other stuff or things. Which you can do in your spare time or excess time better be sure that being busy in this important stuff that will allow you to quit gambling for good are the schedule you gamble before.

Putting your attention to other things will help you to get out on gambling. And you should be able to focus on those things so that you can forget that you are into gambling. Because if you really want to quit gambling you will do whatever it takes in able to quit gambling for good. Also think about your future in your life and put it into gambling, think what will happen.

yes i agree i said it before, you may forget that gmabling little by little, you need to focus your mind on other things, but for me why dont you take a rest for a while and then start gambling again, gambling is not a bad thing but being out of focus might lead you losing, but if your decision is final you may stopped it little by little.
changing thinking is a great way to stop gambling and put things that are interesting in our brain instead of gambling. maybe you should be fishing because the hobby is calming I advise you to do that.
1900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: May 20, 2017, 03:12:55 AM
I tried to quit gambling for good but since im in campaign everytime i received payment from the campaign i can't let my self not to place bets even small bets till i play for long time i can't imagine the money i lose because of gambling how if i stocked them all in my account like web wallet do maybe i will start next month.
Why don't you just get your money in fiat then and have it in cash if you cannot control yourself online?
If it's that much of a problem you really need to work on your self-control.
You have the idea ,result and analysis about what happens in the end so the only thing you can do is to reflect on that how will you change your ways of spending your money .
I Agree on Eternalgloom that to convert it into fiat will maybe a help fpr you not to spend bitcoins in a gambling sites or just use a wallet then don't try to limit yourself not to cashout any amount on that wallet just like a bank.
yep you gamble because you have btc and the best solution is by convert it to fiat so even if you make a wallet it will only make you gamble  like in directbet that does not require an account to gambling. maybe also be able to use a wallet whose transaction fee is 0.001 btc example bittrex.
