1881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling attracted to emotion or luck on: July 20, 2021, 12:54:15 PM
Is the preparation correct?
I do sports gambling most of the time and I use analysis from different persons who are good at it.
But that's just the background and the final decision will always be mine.
Emotions change my decisions if I am a big fan of the team playing the game. That's when I can say I lost it because of my own carelessness but the perks of it will be the fun it will give while watching the game live.
So it's still a winning case for me.
If I win my bets with analysis, I can say it's not luck. So ask yourself again if you did it correctly.
1882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we already in meme coins mania? on: July 20, 2021, 02:18:36 AM
Maybe. But it's too bad it's not something new. I mean a new platform.
ICO, IEO, DeFi, NFT. They are all unique. But this time it is not, because most of them are copycats of the original meme coin.
It's bad to tell names. Let's just call them the dogs.  Grin My Twitter account is flooded with those types of new meme coins and I need to unfollow most of the news services that I used before.
1883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 20, 2021, 12:44:18 AM
Of course it turns out to be very interesting, we have the OG Chris Paul and then the upcoming Booker who has that Mamba mentality. And then on the other side, it's Giannis at the peak of his career and the supporting cast of 2 Olympic bound players, Middleton and Holiday.

In the beginning the favoured to win is the Western Conference. But it seems that there will be a big upset here in this finals as the Bucks win 3 straight games, and Suns haven't lost back to back in this series. And the last time they lost 3 in a row was January.

What makes is boring initially is that they thought that the Phoenix Suns are going to sweep, based on their 2 straight wins. But the tide has change, Bucks has the momentum and will give everything next game so win the finals and end the drought of 50 years of winning again.
Had that prediction that you said. West will win it without a bang.
Sweep or just giving away 1 win as a gift to make it not look so bad. But it changed. I didn't expect the Bucks to play like this, with a purpose.
Winning against the Nets is no joke and I think they learned a lot with that experience then used it against the fast and offensive Suns.
Giannis is growing fast and this Bucks roster will be scary if kept. Chemistry + experience = more championships.
1884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Convince me that bounties paying in anything other than Bitcoin are worth it on: July 19, 2021, 03:37:45 PM
Even before it had always been a risky thing to join bounties.
You cannot ignore the fact that they are still in the phase of accumulating money for their projects to be a success or just for a start-up point.
If they don't reach the cap even with your support with signature, telegram, or any other platform then it means you also failed to help them.
I won't expect too much with bounties and just consider it as a lucky pick if ever they moon.

PS: If their market volume is legit then even with bounty hunters dumping their shares it should not move too much in value. Most bounties just get a share of 1-2 percent so it should not affect it.
1885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: July 19, 2021, 02:21:09 PM
Are there still people thinking that Suns can win the NBA finals ? In my opinion, they ran out of gas guys. They don't have the same pace on their game style so it's kinda normal for them to start losing games. Also , can we really appreciate the fact that both Giannins and Kris are in a monster form ?

I simply cannot see Suns having a chance to stop them and therefore I will cheering once again for Bucks to take the W of the series.
I am. It's not that they don't have the same pace as before. The speed is still intact but the Bucks got used to it and that's why they won 3 games in a row.
I am a Suns fan before with Steve Nash on the line-up and so many good players. Maybe that's why I want them to win this time.
This may also be the best year for Chris Paul and he may never have the same chance next year to win a championship for it might be for another team who will recover from their injuries.
1886  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC is helping out Cubans and Venezuelans on: July 19, 2021, 12:09:45 PM
I am Venezuelan, my life changed since I used cryptocurrencies for almost three years. But we are not the majority, we are still few. I think that if we increased we could get a little out of poverty. We need the interest in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies from the main engines of our economy to be able to boost all economic sectors. There has been interest in private companies but progress has been little. Perhaps due to the pandemic but I have not yet seen a noticeable progress that is sustainable.
When the economic indicators show growth thanks to these investments, we can affirm that Venezuela also achieved it. That is why I can tell you that we are still a minority in Venezuela who see their future with bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
Wow. I don't really know what to say here but just wishing it could spread more to help other people.
Sure it's actually the government that must make the first move but if that doesn't work then I guess it should be the people that decide for their own benefit.
The truth is I have no idea what is happening there or how bad the economy is but perhaps there are groups who are doing something to help out. I wish all the best for our Venezuelan friends.
1887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 19, 2021, 06:02:08 AM
I agree with you that home court has been a major factor in this series, except of course Game 5 when it was a toss up and I think Booker just flat our drove to the lane thinking score and struggled to gather the ball then Jrue strips it and the rest is history. Are Bucks going to win the championship? I think they will. This has flipped into the "Giannis" series and I think his energy has already rubbed into Middleton and Jrue in these past few games. I think they already figure out the recipe for all three of their stars to be produce and be effective in this series vs. Phoenix.

For Phoenix, CP3 and Ayton had been inconsistent and you can really see sometimes that it's only Devin Booker who's really engaged and determined to score the ball. Ayton is focused on rebounding and CP3 is focused on playmaking, but I really think Booker really needs help from Bridges or someone else other than him to score the ball. Game 6 is going to be tough because Milwaukee is going to have home court and all pressure is now on the Suns.
Also, the Bucks made a comeback from a large deficit in the first quarter. That proves a lot for them to win a championship.
They are not just giving it up but instead making their own run fixing their mistakes.
Their defense improved too unlike the first 2 games of this series.
The Bucks might have found the weakness of the Suns and I think it was CP3. Whenever he is stopped by Jrue Holiday or PJ Tucker the ball stops rotating and they will go back to isolation play for Booker.
It ain't a bad choice but the team mates rhythm won't be there if they can't even touch the ball for a second.
Bucks are not known for assists but at Game 5 they won with 26 assists versus 23 of the Suns.
1888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will axie infinity dominate blockchain games? on: July 18, 2021, 05:10:05 AM
There are already a lot of threads about Axie Infinity.
Perhaps we could just stay there and talk about it in one thread so that it won't look like everyone is shilling about it despite the hype which is real.
AXS has risen 5 times and the Metaverse NFT sector is starting to Fly
Axie Infinity's popularity is sustainable?

Axie reaches all time high. What is your next pick?
We all want a good community supporting it but let's not pollute the forum.
There's one more thread but I can't find it but all Axie discussion was there.
1889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 17, 2021, 04:52:31 PM
I admire him but if he to the Lakers to form a super team, I think I would be disappointed with that. Why can't he just follow Giannis or Booker which stays at their team and now they are already in the NBA Finals, whoever wins the series, for sure one of them will be an NBA Champion.
I'd feel the same. I don't really like super teams but I love those who are trying their best with what they have.
Like the Pistons with Chauncey, Mavs with Nowitzki and some old dudes, and GSW with Steph Curry.
Fact: GSW is not a super team, they just became one because of the three-point threat and the year they added Durant but before that, they are an unknown team.
Dame also has that threat but why is he still not a champion? It's the chemistry and had always been the reason teams to miss a championship game.

Rumors are spreading fast but it was an old rumor. They just floated it back because his contract has ended this year.
1890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: July 17, 2021, 10:40:15 AM
I like how the Phoenix Suns adjusted on Game 4. They had the lead for a long time but just got short because of foul trouble. Again this is the problem when bench players can't play well too.
Cam Payne is one of the players that I want to see performing at a higher level. So far I can't see the same energy that I witnessed against the Clippers when CP3 was in health and safety protocol.

I will be betting for the Suns as they are good at home.
1891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Axie Infinity's popularity is sustainable? on: July 17, 2021, 07:25:42 AM
It is.
I think it's a stand-alone market which is pretty good.
It doesn't rely upon the market of the main cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum and their supporters and buyers are still going up. It's been so long but the hype won't just stop especially for Asian countries who had been making a lot of profits from this game. It might even go a long way if they could add more features in game.
1892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 16, 2021, 02:44:11 PM
And correct me if I'm wrong but I think Game 4 is the first time that Middleton leads the Bucks in points this playoff with Giannis on board. Looks they really got inspired and encouraged by those criticisms on Game 1 and 2. Good thing lol. Anyways, the Bucks should be aware that those Suns' key players who have an off-night performance on Game 4 will come back aggressively on Game 5, on which they really should or else.
Thank you for that.
I think they forgot that critical analysis that didn't happen in Games 1-3.
Khris Middleton.
Bucks won because of him. He stepped up his game and that's the only reason I can think of that is why they are now tied in the series.
We have discussed it here so many times that if he will step up his game Bucks could've won even from Game 1.
He is just not there and he cannot be felt.
Now that he is, some critics are making a ruckus about referees or whatever reason they can think of.
Why they cannot just admit to giving credits to Middleton?! He is an All-Star and that's the way he should be playing from the very start.
1893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Token trade problem on: July 16, 2021, 11:28:06 AM
Do you really care about leftover tokens that are valued at thousandths of cents?
A lot of times this happens with tokens that are invaluable. Because an exchange cannot put a price for it, it should be left there.
No worries though, they will keep it there and if somehow the value of it grows then you can still withdraw it as long as the exchange is still up and running.
1894  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 16, 2021, 09:50:19 AM
Actually Booker could have fouled out in the game. A lot of non calls specially in the last 4 minutes of the game. Obviously, CP3 worst game in the playoffs I would say, a combine 15 turnovers for him, not good stats if you are in the finals and trying to win your first. The good thing is that it's over now, they are going to Phoenix so confidence is very high for the Suns to win again after 2 losses at Fiserv.
Yes, and the referee didn't call the foul even with that amount of contact. He knew it would put Booker on the bench.
It was an obvious miss that almost looked like it was bias but refs tend to cover it by calling a foul even without one.

I think you all witnessed it too, CP3 and Johnson trying a trap at Jrue Holiday at the last minute of the game but the ref called a foul immediately.
That's how they recover from a bad missed call.  Grin
1895  Economy / Economics / Re: Which cryptocurrency do you decide to invest in for the long-term? on: July 15, 2021, 03:22:42 PM
Bitcoin and had always been.
You are seeking for the long term and that's the best choice out there.
The proof can be seen at its value now and there's a lot of room for potential increase as time flies by.

If you are also looking for an Altcoin then I'd recommend Ethereum as the best choice. Again, the proof can be seen at any tracking websites like coinmarketcap and improvement is ongoing so a potential increase will happen most likely.
1896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 15, 2021, 10:20:58 AM
What an amazing game 4! Middleton and Booker performances are from out of space! I won my bet as I got Bucks winning with less than 10 points difference. It was a tight game and Giannis did his part without being the MVP. The Suns could have had a bit more luck but that was all on the Bucks side. Now on the 2-2 these finals are super hot! I believe Bucks can win the next game too, but I'll wait tomorrow for a detailed analysis.
It was. What we had been waiting for finally happened. Middleton answers the doubt of all the Bucks fans.
Look how cool of a team the Bucks are when their stars are shining like that.

Booker though is really something, those are tough shots that he made with Tucker all over him or Jrue Holiday.
That's some offense on high-quality performance. He's really hot and it was only the foul trouble that stopped him.
If he didn't sit down for a number of minutes, it might go overtime or the Suns with a good chance of winning.
1897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggestions for Long-Term Investment on: July 15, 2021, 05:05:09 AM
Where did you get such news? I can also say the Shiba Inu meme coin will pump its price in the long-term if I am one of their supporters or bag holders.
Buy the social media news outlets to promote the product or even the medium bloggers.
You cannot rely on everything that is being said on the internet right now. What you can do is research as deep as you can.
An example is XRP, do you know that their project is still hanging on the cliff with SEC lawsuit problem?
It's a high risk to buy their coin because you don't have any idea where it will go.
1898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: July 14, 2021, 02:00:40 AM
However in that case we will see Curry-Lillard-Klay line up with draymond and whoever, assume you are playing them, how are you going to play "old school" in that situation, suns are not like that but it is still very new school and it is not easy to play that way with that team.
Did I say defensive old school? I think I didn't mention that.
The Bucks can win this as long as they stop those plays and go "old-school" hoops as you said. They could try the Spurs plays before with Tim Duncan dominating the perimeter and inside the paint.
Height advantage is their key. Even if Giannis shoots a perimeter shot while being defended by Capela, Lopez has a high percentage for an offensive rebound as long Giannis will pull Capela out as much as he can.
Yes, I didn't.
It's the offensive style that I am trying to explain. Old school slow but with high proficiency. But when back to defense they should try stopping the transition plays and Giannis is not a slow player so he could easily go back to his post.

The line-up that you told has that weakness too. Height. And that's what I am trying to say that is the weakness of Suns if only Ayton can protect the rim. Giannis and Lopez could go old-school post-up game and terrorize Ayton in the paint.
1899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Olympics 2020/2021 : Discussion & Predictions on: July 13, 2021, 02:20:30 PM
I'm just curious how this going to be like the previous years same with no pandemic? How this could be possible to come back to normal olympics without any hesitations despite of the continuous coronavirus threat to people. Gambling bets this time might not be too good, since limited participation and audience should observe health safety protocols.
The same thought came to my mind.
It will be postponed. That's what I imagined with all the barrier for every country cleaning their own backyard in the meantime.
But, it looks like they are going to continue it despite the pandemic still being a threat to all the participants.
I understand it means peace but what if it will also be the reason for pointing fingers at the end of the day.
Do we even know what's happening in the locker room or behind the scenes? I doubt they can control all of that.

Well, there must be some kind of security measures/health protocols before every game starts. I am still trying to be optimistic about it.

I am grateful to be in this forum for I have learned a lot here and have grown my knowledge.
What you have told us here is one of those. Learning from my mistakes and with the help of other member's experiences/opinions that were shared here.
Before I'll purchase anything that I think will strike the moon or even just from the sweet words of their team in chat applications.
I can say I am not a newbie anymore but I don't want to stop learning. Every day there will be something new that will come.
