18902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Ethereum replaces Bitcoin someday? on: August 25, 2019, 09:39:34 PM
Ethereum, being the world's second largest cryptocurrency by market cap, has all the potential of replacing Bitcoin in the future. It's more than just a cryptocurrency, being a platform for the development and execution of smart contracts (aka dApps). With ETH, it's possible to launch alternative cryptocurrencies without the need to start a Blockchain from scratch. It's also possible to use the ETH blockchain for other purposes such as voting, proof of identity, verification of documents, and more. In contrast, Bitcoin's only use is for finance where it cannot be implemented in other areas by its own.

Given all of the benefits Ethereum provides on top of Bitcoin, it makes me wonder whenever it'll be able to replace the pioneer cryptocurrency within the future? As long as, Ethereum keeps progressing in development and mainstream acceptance, it'll be much closer to Bitcoin every step of the way. What are your thoughts? Huh

I think this is something unlikely and impossible, because simply if bitcoin goes up in price, Eth follows it in the same way, if bitcoin goes down in price, Eth goes down much more, that is, Eth depends directly on Bitcoin, everyone always looks in some way have Eth or Tokens, even other cryptocurrencies and then be changed to BTC and thus quote for USD or Eur.
18903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Satoshi Actually Lost His Private Keys on: August 25, 2019, 09:29:58 PM
I am not saying that I believe his story what so ever. Lets say Satoshi Nakamoto DID really lose his keys due to a freakish accident. Would there be any way he could actually prove himself.

If Satoshi was to log into the Satoshi Account on this forumn and say I lost all of my Bitcoin keys, would anyone believe him?

Would a post here be enough proof?

If THE Satoshi logged in after almost 10 years of being Non Active and said word for word what the Newest Satoshi Scammer is saying but said it on this forumn would the community believe him, or would everyone just think his founder account had been compromised? I am curiouse on everyones thoughts on the subject. If from a previouse satoshi acct he said the same thing. I feel I would kind of trust him...

It is simple, in the case that Satoshi loses his private keys, the value of Bitcoin increases, which is why many lost bitcoins make the number of Bitcoins worldwide much more finite, and if there are fewer bitcoins more value will it have because the Demand will grow and supply will decrease.
18904  Economy / Economics / Re: Can a Stock Market Crash affect Bitcoin? on: August 25, 2019, 09:26:34 PM
Due to these possible events, it is always advisable to have the money invested in gold, not only bitcoin, because it is always compared to Dollar / Euro and other important currencies worldwide, and if we are going to see both the Rotchsfields and the Russia of Putin, they've been buying a lot of gold, maybe they handle information and make those decisions. But if there was a crash in the world economy, bitcoin would have to have its value vs gold.
18905  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: August 25, 2019, 09:22:46 PM
The success of digital wallets in the African continent was really great and based on what I've read on news articles about it, it really helped the economy and the businesses when it all started years ago.
With this in mind, will Africans be welcoming of bitcoin/altcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to earn cash or invest? Like using it as real money / cash?

For every Country or Continent where there is inflation, hyperinflation, bitcoin is the solution, because simply with the traditional economy it is very difficult, almost impossible but it has great support from another country that supplements with constant Capital. Not only for the African continent, if we go to the American continent, in the south, we have Argentina and Venezuela, which are the countries that according to statistics are the ones that use bitcoin the most, and this is to be able to escape from the economic system disastrous they have.
18906  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Bearish or Bullish? Here my thoughts: JULY UPDATE (+POLL) on: August 25, 2019, 09:18:39 PM
In my opinion I am not aware of the news, I learned it from Jesse Livermore in his books, and only by looking at the market and studying it according to Wyckoff's theory, we are entering the bullish trend phase. Then I would say that it is imperative to have accumulated BTC.
18907  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is gain or loss? on: August 25, 2019, 09:15:03 PM
I am a BTC holder. Some People said BTC is going down to $1000!! Is it true? So what can i do sell all BTC or hold it anyone know?  Cry

Before making any decision, read some books such as: "The little book that still beats the market," it will show you clearly that investments are very different from speculation, and if you start researching more, you will realize that the market meets Some phases, such as the accumulation-uptrend-distribution-bearish-accumulation trend ..., is the basics, it can be presented in different ways, but it is always fulfilled. So we are starting the bullish trend ... and the distribution is when it reaches the highest level in price, do you still want to sell?
18908  Economy / Speculation / Re: Facebook’s Libra + Bitcoin + Trump + Israel = 666 Orwellian Dystopia on: August 25, 2019, 09:10:53 PM
There are many ways to attack technology, obviously many know the power that Libra has or will have due to the great Fame of Facebook, because almost all people in the world handle Facebook, and only that, makes Libra know the technology and it will bring much more people and investors market to bitcoin.

The enemies of Bitcoin, attack from all sides, this time, they want to take advantage through religions to do it, which I see as a great lack of respect, I believe that the things of God are the things of God ..
18909  Economy / Speculation / Re: Peter Schiff speculation, bitcoin will never hit $50k on: August 25, 2019, 09:06:53 PM
Let us balance the speculation subforum with some of Peter Schiff's permabear trolling. We cannot listen to Tom Lee all the time, can we hehehe?

For a man that wants nothing to do with Bitcoin, economist and Euro Pacific Capital CEO Peter Schiff never misses an opportunity to share his opinions about the cryptocurrency.

His latest prediction? “Bitcoin will never hit $50k,” Schiff proclaimed today on Twitter.

Schiff is well-known in the world of finance as an unapologetic goldbug, a catalog of profitable investments—and, yes, correctly predicting the 2008 U.S. housing bubble and ensuing financial crisis.

Read in full https://decrypt.co/8627/bitcoin-will-never-hit-50k-says-crypto-skeptic-peter-schiff

It is clear that he is a person who can know a lot about finance, but he has his mind very closed to technology, perhaps we must remind him that we are not in the 1900s where the traditional economy was the one that dominated all aspects, somehow Bitcoin causes envy in those who cannot understand it.
18910  Economy / Speculation / Re: When bitcoin will hit $1 million ! on: August 25, 2019, 09:04:09 PM
I have a very interesting theory about when exactly bitcoin will hit $1 million.

I said everything in the video, I'm sure you will like it.

It's not an investment advice, but just an observation from me, after following bitcoin for more than 5 years.

Please watch the video here and tell me what do you think :

https://3speak.online/watch?v=clixmoney/hjimplyn

Well there are many factors that affect so that it can happen, it is possible that it reaches 1M, and it may happen quickly, now we are with the approval of BAKKT for this September 23, if they execute the approval of the ETFs, we will have new protagonists in the market that will surely bring new ATHs to Bitcoin prices. And if we add that the Libra cryptocurrency will soon be launched in 2020, which through Facebook manages a large number of business models, will bring to the world of bitcoin all those people who did not know about technology.
18911  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading full time on: August 25, 2019, 03:01:26 AM
Reality check - what does it take to replace your day job?

You're out there, busting your ass, working full time to pay the bills.

On top of that, you spend a few hours trading in the evenings, and on weekends.

You’ve got a trade strategy that works, making profit as you go, and yet...

You spend 40+ hours a week working to make someone else rich.

What the hell for?

Is it the safety of a steady paycheck? Or the comfort of job security? Maybe you’re not being honest with yourself about whether or not your strategy works.

If that’s enough for you, so be it.

But it’s not for me.

Replacing that safe salary or consistent hourly wage takes only two things.

First, it takes just a little bit of math. This is really just to help with the second thing.

The math is the easy part.

Take your salary, boil it down to what you earn per day.

Chances are that it's not a very big number.

Example -
You earn 60k/year, the average American income
You work 5 days a week, 50 weeks a year - 250 days
60k/250 days = $240

When you break it down like that, replacing it becomes achievable in your mind. That mindset is way more important than the number above.

The second thing you need before you go full time is a solid plan.

That plan should include saving enough money to not have to stress about the day to day expenses.

It should also detail the minimum amount of profit you need to earn so that you can both live the lifestyle you want to live, and to keep growing your stack.

Then it’s just a matter of putting in the work to make it happen.

How close are you to going full time?

It is necessary to take into account that a job, gives stability, is a safe money, instead dedicating full time to trading is something very different, because if you get carried away by emotions you can lose all your capital and the way to recover is very difficult , you must be very expert and with great knowledge to highlight daily earnings.

I think that if there is a lot of money destined for trading without affecting the "Good" standard of living of the human being, then you can do it, but if there is no other income of money, it is difficult to make the decision, since you cannot leave everything to Luck, in trading knowing a lot, you also need a lot of luck to be successful.
18912  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical Analysis Bullshit or Not? on: August 25, 2019, 02:55:01 AM
The technical analysis is only a small approximation to the ideal but not real, because there is no indicator that measures the intentions or emotions of people, whales and all market participants. I am not in favor of a triangle telling me that if it breaks up it is bullish, or if it breaks down in bearish, because it can simply break the triangle up and then fall and vice versa, so I don't believe in technical analysis. I think that there must be a fundamental market analysis with the technician to form a much more powerful tool to attack market movements, taking into account the emotions that whales can cause in others.
18913  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whales Every time change the market?? on: August 25, 2019, 02:47:14 AM
Guys i have a serious  problem. Most of the time whales are controlling  the market with big profits. But how we can sell  the bitcoin at correct  time? Someone can say me please learn  aboth the trading. But the my idea is trading is just some patterns of market changes. Not rules. The market just can be  changed by whales and news anytime.

Well, I think that whales are like Market Makers in the Stock Market, according to some books like Jesse Livermore's, the news is simply distractions, Market Makers have already planned their movements months and even years in advance.

The market must be analyzed from a very partial point of view, in my case I analyze the market in the long term until it reaches a very short term (4h) and using the Wyckoff methodology, all you have to do is try to understand how Whales operate, and although it is not created, whales also have losses, very rarely, but if they do, the market is full of Bears and Bulls, they want to show their strength at all times.

To determine what you should do, it is simple, to study the market in all its phases, since it started in 2009 until today, you will find parameters, stages, some are repeated, that way you will have more arguments to draw your own conclusions and thus disagree with some predictions that are made.

18916  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin resume its' Bulish momentum after Bakkt Announcement! on: August 25, 2019, 01:37:33 AM
Bitcoin recovered from the bearish momentum last week after forming a hammer candlesticks formation on a 4 hour's chart.  The price bounce after touching the support level at $9,600! Since Friday after bakkt announced that by "September 23 it will launched it future trade" https://medium.com/bakkt-blog/cleared-to-launch-8dfc3e6f9ed0 and since then Bitcoin has gained over $1000. As at this morning bitcoin hit $10,760 resistance area and there is a probability that it might cross $11,000 before Wednesday this week. I am speculating a trigger of another bullish momentum that might create another high this year as the bakkt's announcement has taking the center of discussion all over the cryptocurrencies sites and blogs.

It is like this, I totally agree with you, we may begin to see Bitcoin with a great boost, just the fact that it starts this September 23, causes in many investors not to want to miss the moment, they know they should buy as much as they can so they can take the bullish way. I think we can reach the end of $ 20ka this year if everything goes well and if ETF approval happens.
18917  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will Bitcoin Be Back To $20,000 ? on: August 24, 2019, 11:01:58 PM
When do you think Bitcoin will go back to the $20,000 mark and what factors do you think could contribute to making it happen sooner rather than later?

It may be very soon, the factors are essential one in general, the application of the BAKKT, This makes investors who buy massively bitcoin, regardless of the price, because what they would like is to have bitcoin to accumulate.
As for this September 23 will happen, this movement is likely to occur, and although $ 20k is the ceiling in the Bitcoin box, you can get there and test how the offer is, according to that it can oscillate, we currently have an average value , with some volume, almost that important movements have been little present and bitcoin movements have been for many bots. Anyway, it is necessary that those who can acquire bitcoin is what is most recommended, based that we are starting the bullish trend stage.
18918  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin will Hit $100,000 in or Before 2022 on: August 24, 2019, 10:54:20 PM
Do you agree with me on my prediction that Bitcoin price will hit 100k before December 2022?

This upward movement will be fueled by People's sentiment and other important indicators. I also have a strong believe That no single person nor single policy is capable to bring the price down, rather the price is decided by the people's sentiments.

You are quite right when you affirm that the price is moved by people's feelings, it is true, although we must take into account that we must determine at what stage of the market we are currently, personally my Wyckoff-based analysis is at a beginning stage bullish trend, and I think that before 2022 it can reach that price range, because some massive purchases have already been seen after $ 6k, which caused the price to rise, and according to this, BAKKT will start on 23 September of this 2019, this is something very positive, I really dare to say that many buyers will enter the market buying at the price that is and with large volume. This helps the BTC do something similar to a re-accumulation, so the price will quickly win a new ATH.
18919  Economy / Speculation / Re: John McAfee Says Bitcoin Waking Up Again on: August 24, 2019, 10:45:05 PM
Well!! Popular cryptocurrency expert john McAfee says that bitcoin is waking up again.

According to John McAfee, “BTC waking up again. Up and down but long term steady growth is apparent”

What's your point of view on this?
Although I have never believed in him, I think he is a person who is impulsive in his tweets, personally I do not believe anything, but in this case, he is saying something very true, it is clear that the volatility is enormous but that the trend is bullish, That is very true, in fact with Wyckoff's theory you can check. In this case I support what he says, because I prefer that he instills confidence and security in the movements that come from bitcoin and not be like some bitcoin enemies, which infuse FUD everywhere, in this case I do agree with him.
18920  Local / Español (Spanish) / Bitfinex y Tether, Visión de Negocios. on: August 22, 2019, 06:22:16 AM
