Titans are valued by collectors. Why not leave it loaded and auction it off here in the Collectibles board?
Not just Titans, but also other physical Bitcoins such as Casascius and Denarium. But as the OP has stated, no one knows whether these private keys are 100% confidential. There is a real chance that the employees of Casascius and Titan are aware about these coins and therefore it will be better to redeem them and store the coins in a hardware or online wallet.

I used to hold a lot of gold (both in physical form, and in the ETF form). But a few years back, when the house construction was going on I sold all of my ETF units (and a majority of my Bitcoin holdings). But even now, I have around 30 oz. gold with me in physical form (Indian women are expected to have at least some gold, in physical form).

Earlier, I used to get angry when the number of unconfirmed transactions in the queue increases. But now I feel happy. Because I am possessing quite a few BCH coins in my wallet, and I know that if the transaction fee increases, the the BCH exchange rate will also increase. So I pray to god every day, to increase the transaction fee. I hope that it will soon reach 1,000 Sat/Byte.

During this 72-hour time period, the North Koreans will use all of their nukes against South Korea (and perhaps a few against Japan and the US islands as well). Even if only 10% of these weapons reach their target, they will result in the deaths of tens of millions of people. So your suggestion is a very stupid one which should never be put in to practice.

In China, the average factory worker is paid around $3 per hour and he works for 12-hours a day with little other benefits. And a worker with the same skill will cost at least $15 to $25 per hour in the United States, and on top of the salary, the company have to provide benefits like Mediclaim. Also, the worker gets overtime allowance if he works for more than 8-hours per day.

I wouldn't blame the rich. Most of them have worked hard to earn whatever they have. And they pay taxes more than the poor (I am not sure whether the poor pay any tax at all). Most of the government revenue in the form of taxes and levies come from the rich. So we can't ignore their contribution in nation building and in the running of the government.

My reasoning is very simple. I don't want to live near Muslims. Not all of them may be terrorists or terrorist supporters, but the vast majority of the terrorists are Muslims. My logic is that, prevention is better than cure. Why take the risk?
BTW... I don't want to kill any of them, as long as they don't attack me.
Muslims without doubt are very violent people and i am not talking about the Arabs only but all of them, These people are ready to kill anyone with or without the least provocations, Their first instinct is to fight and kill even among themselves. With all these said, i don't believe Killing to be the solution to anything. Among the Muslims, the violence is encouraged partly due to the verses in Quran. As per researchers, there are more than 110 verses in the Quran, which urges the Islamist followers to engage in violence and ethnic cleansing against the non-Muslims. Islam is a religion which has spread through the sword, using extermination as a tool.

Almost all of the third world countries are poor. But I am not sure about small nations such as Brunei and Qatar. Are they third world nations, or part of the first world? But if you are talking about nations such as India, Cambodia, Kenya, Bangladesh and Myanmar, then they are definitely poor. And I have no doubt that they are third world nations.

Greenland. Low population. Plenty of land. Practically no crime. Then Iceland because It has no standing army. And the only time it's ever gotten involved in war is when it has been attacked.
What are you going to do with all that barren land and glaciers in Greenland? It is not suitable for any sort of agricultural or industrial activity. However, some people predict that as a result of global warming, vegetable farming may be made possible in Greenland in the distant future. You can include northern scandinavia in that case also. Arctic farming here we come. I don't know how practical is your idea of Arctic farming. A lot of the land in the Arctic areas are getting wasted as a result of the thawing due to global warming. As the temperatures rise even further, most of the permafrost will melt, resulting in vast swamplands where no farming can be practiced. Converting these regions to farmland will require huge investment.

I don't care much about the mayor in my city. Actually, the turnout in most of the mayoral elections in my area is around 25% to 30%. The people are not that concerned about the mayors, as they don't have much power when compared to the state government. But I heard that the mayor of my city is a good guy, and he has done a lot of development work.

Violence is only a temporary solution to drug problem. I think it's really hard to eliminate drugs because it's a big and dirty business handled by organized and untouchable syndicates. Violence will only result to numbers of death and it will only cause people lose trust in the government. Violence is not the best way to control everything.
When people are desperate for a solution, they don't really care how bad or practical that can be. They just want the results, although it will be a temporary one. Look at what is happening in the Philippines. The war on drugs has succeeded in reducing the crime rate and decreasing the number of drug addicts. But we need to see, whether this is a temporary effect, or a permanent one.

Yes... there are so many religions and sects in the world. But the diversity is declining day by day. The business minded religions such as Islam and Christianity are poaching on the smaller religions, such as Hinduism, Buddhism, Animism, and Taoism. May be after a hundred years or so, there will be only two religions remaining in this world.

What is the point in staying with the European Union, when the British voters rejected the proposal by a good margin? And at least as far as I know, the United Kingdom is no longer an absolute monarchy. It is a democracy. So whatever the people have decided, the rulers have to carry that out. It is not like if Theresa May want she can stay in the EU.

I am not surprised. Even previously, the Americans have helped the ISIS in Deir Ezzor region. Almost a year back, an American raid killed more than 100 Syrian soldiers, and enabled the ISIS to capture many of the strategically important regions. This was a clear evidence to show that the Americans were supporting the ISIS, at least in Deir Ezzor.

If you ask me, BTC-e was the best one out there. But now they are gone. They had no ID verification requirement, and they were never hacked (probably due to the reason that the owners themselves were renowned hackers). For now, I would suggest exchanges such as Bittrex and Cryptopia. But their fee is a bit high. I would never recommend Poloniex, as I am hearing a lot of complaints about them.

This is always the question we hear about in trading. When to sell, in this case an Eth. First be sure you have a target price to sell the said token. If you do not have a target price, then it seems you do not know when. Of course your target Selling price is above the price when you bought it or sell it for a profit.
Target selling price can be below the purchase price as well, when the future outlook is very bleak and you are trying to cut your losses. For example, I would advice someone who purchased ETH at $400 per token a few months back to convert his coins to BTC, at current prices of $320. Obviously, the individual will suffer loses. But a loss of 20% now is better than losing 80% later.
|
|
|
Indeed. That's why its important that you at least should have an approximate target and don't rely instictively on these pumps and dumps because they're very hard to read. If you miss the chance to sell when a coin is pumping, then wait. Never have regrets about missing out on a chance because you may lose a lot
You are absolutely right. No one can predict the pumps and dumps with 100% accuracy. Because unlike the case with fiat currencies, the stats are not available for the demand-supply equilibrium regarding crypto-currencies. So apart from making a wild guess on the future exchange rates, we can't give out any advice on when to purchase these coins.

I was very surprised when saw on ukranian tv ann about bitcoin. It announced about down rate from 5000 to 4000. So i think that soon it will be a ussual situation of bitcoin tv adv. Did they had news on BTC, when the exchange rates climbed from $1,700 in mid-July to almost $5,000 in September? That would have been a much more positive type of coverage. And it would have encouraged a lot of people, including institutional investors to try their luck with Bitcoin, and some of the altcoins such as Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash.
|
|
|
People have realized this. And that is the reason why the price is now climbing back. The exchange rates are $4,600+ per coin now, and I believe that the current spike can take Bitcoin beyond the $5,000 mark. I have also noticed that Bitcoin Cash has climbed almost 50% during the past 2-3 days. Very interesting situation, if you ask me.

Good to hear that you get good earnings from your signature campaign. But there are not many such campaigns around here, which pays more than $200 per month. And the worst part is that you are not allowed to have more than one account in the forum. So your monthly income is capped at a very low level, which is not enough to survive in an urban area.
