1901  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin trading? can Bitcoin trading profitable without having lost? on: September 26, 2021, 01:14:46 PM
I have spent time to read about Bitcoin trading, hence want to comprehend how it influence and overwhelm The market in this forum.as a newbie who's interested and curious about Bitcoin trading, eager to be impacted with knowledge from my superiors (legendary and hero members etc)

Understand that most of trading are what you teach yourself and not only what you read on YouTube.. You must have to teach yourself after having the basic knowledge through seminar or other means, those are the basic. You then have to move out of that training to have your own understanding of the situations of market. The two major factors that push market are fundamental and technical. Focus more on the technical aspect of trading, those are the charts.
1902  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The psychology of stoploss on: September 26, 2021, 07:11:07 AM
The bottom line for my stop loss is 20% of the principal. Stop loss is the basic strategy of regular trading. In the final analysis, it is still desire. If you are greedy enough, I'm sorry, stop loss is not for you, and the one that suits you is Stud.

Lol bro but 20% is way far too much for a stoploss on a single market order. It means you have just splitted your account into 5 places and what happens when you trade the 4th time and lose at a roll? Panic gets into you to trade the fifth time because of the fear of not coming out of it. I have traded with a lot spaced for stop loss because I was scared or didn't like my stop loss to take me out, I even extended and shifted it and yet the price takes me out.

Just identify the trend and if you go with it, you just need a tight stop loss incase of spike. I can suggest like a percent of your balance to stop loss and you see it is a scratch of your account that will be lost if it is against you. Good luck.
1903  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before getting into trading on: September 25, 2021, 06:38:01 PM
From my own experience, I can say that when starting work, the most necessary stage is a demo account. This is the only way a trader has a chance to gain trading experience without any particular risks. When I started working with a broker from Amarkets, I did just that.

Very important thing to do and I support that a learner should work on the strategy with demo account because I have done such not just once. I do demo trading from times that I want adding a new idea to my strategy to test on it first because doing that on real account is dangerous not to put yourself in risk of losing your money. But starting a real account do also require that you do start gradual.
1904  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Help needed urgently on: September 25, 2021, 05:29:14 PM
When you deal with social media or unknown people from Internet in general, stay away from people who glorify their titles without proof, for example, an expert, a doctor, an engineer, a scientist, …. etc.

Don't just deal with anyone online asking to give help to you and asking for a fee from you, that will look like outright scam. If you ask for a prove of past work or help done from them as evidence, you can get a Photoshop and you can fall for it. The best is to flee from every one asking for money to help you. This include elegram groups too, they can scam you with rhetorics of sending you trade information but requiring payment from you first.
1905  Economy / Economics / Re: China Is making Fuds Since 2017, But BTC Always Gone higher on: September 25, 2021, 04:46:23 PM
If anyone sell off his/her bitcoin because one authoritarian government doesn’t like it, then it is clear that such person don’t understand Bitcoin and however not deem fit to be in the crypto space.

Yes you have said it simple way. China made the worse attempt to cripple bitcoin and cryptocurrency in 2017 when adoption then can't be compared to 2021 but it didn't stop the growth and bitcoin rose higher to an ATH high then around $20,000. At this time with high adoption, people don't need to panic selling except newbie feel not to lose the worth of hodling to sell but will come back to open thread of regretful comment and mistake to sell in rush for fear. Bitcoin price will increase more despite China's fud.
1906  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin slumps as China bans all cryptocurrency transactions on: September 25, 2021, 01:27:47 PM
It did slump like this in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, I don't think there's anything new, only newbies panic over this kind of thing because they don't know enough that there's a tug of war between China and bitcoin for a long time.

China can only do the best that they can do and like other countries too that have expressed hate in different ways have not succeeded. China in 2017 had a kind of what ban for ico nothing came out from it and bitcoin rose to $64,000, they restricted mining yet bitcoin still going stronger with countries coming to use bitcoin. We can't be surprised if China turns around to promote bitcoin.
1907  Economy / Economics / Re: How has inflation affected your savings and investing? on: September 25, 2021, 12:46:36 PM
There are nothing in particular that you can do on this. You can save if you have left but you can't save when you have not taken food to your belle. If you don't enough with good diet, you are likely to have low immunity exposing your self to bacteria, virus and all kinds of infestion including covid-19. You can't cut down on expenses when you are already underpaid or not paid at all. Generally, life is now difficult across the land and inflation is not stopping anywhere.

Each year inflation keep on rising and as a human we don't have any other choice to do than to deal with it and the thought of cutting expenses were one of the way to cope up with the constant rising of inflation. But sometimes cutting expenses is not applicable especially if the primary commodity of a family has the highest amount expenses monthly like the food. Due to inflation the portion for savings and investment has been cut also to meet the primary needs of a person.

There are certain things that are important and not to be looked away from. If cutting down expenses is to take away the concern of our primary health, it means we have more bigger troubles in our hands. We open our health to infestions if we don't take precautions about them and the result is the payment of high hospital bill to treat ourselves and by then we still in same place or have lost more to our health. Therefore cutting down should not make us susceptible to health bad practices that will endanger our lives.
1908  Economy / Economics / Re: How has inflation affected your savings and investing? on: September 24, 2021, 08:08:10 PM

Have you had to cut down on your expenses so as to maintain the percentage of your income you allocate to savings & investing?, Or you have adjusted the percentage for savings and investing so as to accommodate and maintain your standard of living?

1909  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The psychology of stoploss on: September 24, 2021, 02:51:04 PM

though I should probably just set it where I think it's really unlikely to get triggered.

Depending but if you take it very far away from where it is likely not be triggered it also means you could be risky too much of your money for that particular trade. Stoploss is usually good when calculated against your trading balance maybe just 1% of your balance or below 1% and you can maximize your profit. But if you take alot of your money out in stoploss and it keep hitting on it, you will be running out of balance. This is part of money management skill.

This is
1910  Economy / Trading Discussion / The psychology of stoploss on: September 24, 2021, 01:44:42 PM
I'm believing that many traders here don't like using stop loss and the reason is just within our first guess, they don't want the stoploss to take them out.
In my own situation , I also didn't like that idea of getting to loss to stoploss but my orientation have changed towards that because stop loss is better used than not to be used.  One benefit is your just loss a little part and you can carry on with your trade, after all trading is about profit and loss. This is a good mentality to succeed. If you are in the habit of readjusting your stoploss and take it further, you can stop that because the price can chase you there

For newbie traders and more experienced traders, I do also believe you having the dilemma of using or not using stoploss especially when it takes you out frequently but to such, the problem may be with your trading strategy and not stoploss.

So what is your challenge to using stoploss?
1911  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it too late to buy? on: September 24, 2021, 10:54:18 AM
I'm not viewing the bull to be over yet with the looking of how the price coming back after it drops. Hodling isn't just what we look at the short term but for a longer time gains. Waiting for more dip to around $30,000 can be a time that we can't tell. Therefore in not to miss the real deal which is the future increase, it is better to buy and hodl now. The price of bitcoin is coming back after the little hourly correction last few weeks, no speculation can be accurate or perfect but investing to the extent that we can sustain ourselves is better.
1912  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have become cautious on the market on: September 23, 2021, 06:40:34 PM
That company doesn't have any connection with cryptocurrency market so I don't see why it could cause a bad movement in the market, plus it's likely that bitcoin will still pump in December, just hodl.

The pump of 2017 around the last three months to the end of the year may be repeated from the way price moves and especially that countries coming to adopt bitcoin and create digital currency. I see traders having the sentiment and emotion of thinking there may be bear but definitely things have changed and we may not see that. As a result of fud for the December, they want to sell out there hodling to tether, though not a bad idea .
1913  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Before getting into trading on: September 23, 2021, 12:58:27 PM
A learner who wants to learn more should be patient and not to be in the haste to start real trading. Make all your mistakes with demo , build your passion for it and don't run away from mistakes. A learner should take low risk, identify what is working then stick to it, with time you will be a professional growing from the mistakes made.

6. If after everything you still are not profitable, save money and Buy the Bitcoin Dip, and HODL Cool

This is another type of trading but called hodling. However talking about hodling, longtime can be boring. A real trader don't want to hodl but to exchange for immediate profit..
1914  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What every new trader should be focused on on: September 23, 2021, 07:33:21 AM
I see a lot of newbie traders complain about lack of trading capital. And I want you to know that you are focused on the wrong thing. Your attention should be on focused on the trading skills first before worrying about the capital. Trading capital is not the most important thing in trading. The most important thing is mastering the skills. No matter how big your trading capital is, if you lack the trading skill you won't book any profit and will most likely blow your account. On the other hand, if you have the skill set, you will be able to handle and grow any trading capital into something substantial.

I don't think that you have made a complete post here on the subject matter that you want to highlight. Having capital and skill are not the same thing. A trader with skill and good training needs money to start the business no matter how small it is. When you talk about capital here, I assume that you are talking of huge money and that is not all about capital. Money or capital whatever you call it, is needed for a trader to start up the business. Some traders are set to go and they need capital whether at least small.
1915  Economy / Speculation / Re: Future bitcoin price is high and low on: September 22, 2021, 03:17:47 PM
No one knows what the price of bitcoin will be by the end of this year and in 2022 but my prediction is that it will increase more in coming year compare to the rate that it is going for now. The price appreciation is very rapid and this is really good. If the price increases more sharp than it drops that is possible more people are positive to hodl and invest in bitcoin.
1916  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation and protecting you wealth on: September 22, 2021, 02:54:37 PM
Real estate investment have proved to be the best kind of investment both for long and short time investment. I have not been aware of a real estate investment complaining of losing the investment, the asset is usually adding with the future. This is not affected by inflation because it has no corresponding factor that will get the price to decrease rather with the building of proper channels for social amenities in the surrounding including good roads, the price keep increasing. This is more beneficial kind of investment and can be insured.
1917  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Strategies changes with time on: September 21, 2021, 09:05:46 PM
Trading Strategies are not constant , it changes with time. If we think the particular method we were taught in the early stages during trading will still work for the market over time, we may keep on losing because the market changes with time. One particular strategy of trading can't be use all the time.

This can be true but not a total change. You may need some little adjustment from time to time so to adapt to the changes. You can identify the changes in the market if you already understand your initial strategy to be outdated. Some traders don't bother about why they are losing in the market which is the result of many factors like whales taking over the market that will cause high volatility etc.
1918  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why risk management is so important for Every Trader. on: September 21, 2021, 07:30:56 PM
Not until a trader starts the use of risk management they won't make consistent profit that will help the account to grow. What the risk management does to the account is that it doesn't allow for excessive and unreasonable losses that will drain the account. If we use the system then we have proper control of our losses and quantity it to our profit because in trading we require to make more profit than losses. We need to use risk to reward ratio and that will control the risk we want to take in a particular trade.
1919  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you determine which cryptos to buy during this dip? on: September 21, 2021, 09:26:24 AM
For a short time profit, I think it is better to consider coins that are getting hyped and that is because just as you are making the buy, other investors are buying also and that keeps increasing volume and profit. For a long time hodling , I wouldn't look at hype but a real project that has already been established like etheruem and bitcoin.
1920  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do Not Sell! Don't Let The Whales Get Your Precious BTC! on: September 19, 2021, 09:30:59 PM
As an asset that is limited and not haphazardly printed, speculatively Bitcoin is clearly very promising to invest in the long term. Investments with long-term schemes are better because short-term schemes such as trading are more risky than long-term ones. So, short term trading is indeed dangerous because whatever the trigger, any news that causes prices to rise and fall quickly, in a short time, you need to be careful.

I think that you are missing things together here. There is difference with long and short time hodling and trading. Although maybe short time hodling can still get the consideration as trading to the extent as swing trading but long time hodling is trading because trading is not suppose to stay longer than necessary like a year hodling. But both long time hodling and trading can get you a lose.
