If there are bids right before the end of the auction would it be extended? Or is the end time fixed?

$300 in bitcoin, I will use PayPal. If you are unhappy with paypal we can use escrow.
How would using escrow solve the problem that PayPal can be charged back several months after the purchase?

Title says it all any way to buy bitcoins with airtime?? I don't care about the fees
Yes t here is. http://sms.btc-sm.com/Wow! 21,000% fee? Seriously? Just for curiosity what countries/operators does it support?

Wasn't this a lending thread? OP please lock this topic and do use escrow next time.

Can I use it to promote services for alt coins (payment gateway, Android faucet, Android wallet) - not an altcoin itself?
If so I bid BTC0.03
Which alt-coin? You can PM me if you don't feel like posting it here. My concern about alt-coins is mainly regarding the intent of its developers. IPO/ICO-type alt-coins and those that seem to scream "get rich quick" or "use this to buy drugs" are the ones I'd like to avoid. I develop services for any crypto-currency such as payment gateways and Android faucet. It can work for any coin. I'd like to promote my services for altcoin creators to hire me.

What with them being gTLDs, I would really doubt that you can get $1,000+ for them. If you can, I really doubt that you can do it here.
You have some good keyword domains, but the actual suffix makes no sense in relation to it in most cases. I expect that would really lower the value.
Good luck on selling anyway, not trying to discourage you.
Bitcoin.social makes some sense and could be worth something, although definitely not more than $1k in my opinion. .pictures and .ink could work for very specific markets. Could be worth something for the right buyer, could be difficult to sell. OP, what are your market ideas for the other ones?

as title says. trusted users only unless you send first. hope some one can help me out
Are you selling BTC for PayPal or the other way around?
|
|
|
Good price but very specific domain names.
I like BitTakeaway.com BitTakeout.com CVbit.com OneMillionBit.com OneMillionBits.com
Because there's already a bid I can't consider individual or partial offers. Feel free to bid for all the domains.

I don't think this would be very difficult to do, and would probably not even take up 1 BTC worth of someone's time to implement this.
The reason why the forum has not implemented any kind of tipping feature is because of the regulatory and legal issues that it would likely create. One concern is that it is not uncommon for bitcointalks to get hacked for a number of reasons (primarily because of something to do with the owners being careless with their accounts).
Getting this done is also kinda a moot point as the new forum is going to come out in only a few months and it will not use SMF
If changetip or other similar service offers an API then BTC1 would be more than enough and they would handle security and regulations if any, no need to worry for the forum itself. However if creating everything from scratch is required then definitely BTC1 wouldn't be enough. In this case would there really be legal issues? As far as I know bitcoin is not considered a currency by US and other countries, the problem is selling USD for BTC. If a site transfers BTC only does it need a licence?

Hi theymos Could you implement a feature to display the number of deleted posts in self-moderated threads? When you have threads like this where the vast majority of posts are being deleted by a bot, it's not a good look. Especially since this particular user has another thread with hundreds of pages deleted (that you yourself saw fit to restore in a separate thread). I know you probably are not inclined to revoke Blackarrow's self-moderation privileges, but this could at least be a more palatable compromise in favor of transparency. When people see an exorbitant number of posts deleted from a thread, it'll raise their suspicions at least, as opposed to covering up the truth without any accountability. Thanks for reading. I agree self moderated threads need more transparency. Several (most?) times fishy things happen there. However this indicator as proposed could lead to anyone adding posts that really need to be deleted, just to fake the stats. Probably adding the number of users whose posts have been deleted would be better? Or even general stats based on those users' trust or activity.

Read our on-going development outline: Diginomics. One of our main early-development focuses on the Diginomics Forum, is to enable bitcoin tipping through post functionality. Bitcoin tipping inside a forum, such as this forum, would add an entirely new element to the conversation and collaboration to be had. Please read our development outline as we are looking to offer a bounty for the developer(s) who can make a modification for all SMF. Is the idea to use an existing API? Do you already know which one? Or should it use a local install of bitcoind, handle virtual wallets for every user and so on? If the later is true I think BTC1 would not be enough. There's a lot of work involved.

I want to sell 13LTC for BTC If someone is willing to do that please PM me. Bitstamp Rates. Regards
Why don't you do that on an exchange? It would be easier and safer without the need of escrow. That's not a huge amount to justify trading it off market. Well... to not pay comission! Money is money, why u said that is not amount? I now that is not 1 million but still money. If the member is good trusted enough ill go first, if not ill use scrow. Regards I just meant that normally huge amounts that would affect the exchange are made off-market. If someone wants to sell 10,000 LTC then they would crash the market and sell much cheaper so they prefer to trade off market with someone willing to buy a lot (without increasing the price). Personally I don't think the fee for 13 LTC is worth the time and effort of trading off-market but sure that's just me.

I have had this wallet for 4-5 days now and it still says "out of sync". Is this normal? I went to "blockchain/info" and looked up my receiving address and it shows the coins as received, but still not in my wallet. It has been 4 hours since I sent the coins from my Localbitcoins.com wallet. Does it really take up to 1-2 days for this to sync up and show up in the wallet?
Only the first time it takes a while to sync. That's because bitcoin-qt needs the whole blockchain to work. And that's a lot of data. For most people having a wallet that doesn't download everything is enough. I recommend you blockchain on the web or Electrum as a desktop application. Or you can check more options here: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-walletAt the moment your options are: - Wait until it syncs - Export the private key and import it or sweep into another wallet

I sent bitcoins to my Bitcoin core wallet and have not received the coins after 4 hours. I have tried the recovery process,"blockchain.info/wallet/import-wallet" drag wallet.dat file to window, solve capcha, enter pass phrase and then get the message "connection refused". Can anyone help?
What is your bitcoin-qt address? You can safely share it here or use this link to check whether it has received the coins: https://blockchain.info/address/<your address>
