I'm really excited for this. Not sure if I'll be participating in the auction but if you meet your target price +/- a little on either side I'll be very interested in getting one (despite my attempts to stop buying physical cryptos).
Good luck with the auction!
1902  Economy / Services / [WTB] Need some Web Development Service on: November 16, 2016, 09:28:53 PM
Hi,
I'm looking for someone to design and develop a website for me.
The website should be a single page website with a set template.
I would want to be able to have full access to the template and to be able to replace the photos and product description whenever needed.
I don't want to change the site layout but to simply just replace the photos and text in the set template.

If you think you can do this then please post below. Don't PM me as I will ignore all PMs unless I initiate contact.
Please make sure to provide post work too.

Thanks
1903  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling My Artiphon 1! White - #1 Instrument on Kickstarter! on: November 14, 2016, 11:16:04 PM
What's the different between this and the one that Artiphon sell on their website for $399? I understand that this was an original kickstarter reward but is there any difference between the two?
Thanks

The difference is you get it immediately. I was very early on the backer list, and got ahold of the first units they've made, If you order one from the website you're likely to not receive it until late next year.

Hust a disclaimer, I could be wrong about this. However it seems like they are already shipping. Their website Q&A says that the White Artiphon 1 devices are shipped within 2 weeks of an order being made and the black ones within 4 weeks of the order being made. Yes this isn't 'immediate' but in no means is it unreasonable. It's your product so you choose the price but I just don't see what justifies the 100% + price rise.

1905  Economy / Goods / Re: ILdock - Charge and Listen music on iPhone 7 at same time - World wide shipping on: November 13, 2016, 10:47:57 PM
It's nice to see that you're helping spread BTC adoption by offering a marketplace to buy goods for BTC. However, I think it's a little unjustified to be hanging over double the retail price.
This can be bought for $10 off the maker's website. Yes, it does state the RRP at $30 but it seems like that price has been slashed.
I'm not sure if you guys weren't aware and if this a genuine mistake or not, but given what it is the price is definitely a little steep.
1906  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WARNING http://giftbitexchange.com/ STOLE MY ENTIRE GIFTCARD BALANCE - SCAM on: November 13, 2016, 04:37:20 PM
This seems more like a scam accusation.
If you'd like to post an accusation against a member/company, please post in the scam accusations board and provide proof to you allegations.
It's easy to point the finger but you have to back up your claim.
It's also advisable to try and contact them before starting a thread to see if you can solve the problem. More often than not it's simply a case of a misunderstanding...

Received my coin today (UK). Must have taken Smoothie a while to package all the coins since the addresses are all handwritten. Thanks! Much appreciated! Smiley

1909  Economy / Goods / Re: Apple iphone 6s plus 128GB Brand New 1 year apple warranty Buy with bitcoin on: November 10, 2016, 07:07:04 AM
It seem like the real wozwebs is selling this phone elsewhere and it's actually a 64GB and not a 128GB.
Something poked fishy about the photos and a simple image search for 'wozwebs iPhone' produces some interesting results.
For those in question, here's the link to the real seller's advert.
If anyone wants they can contact the real wozwebs to find out if it's the same guy although all pointers are indicating that he's clearly not.
In other words, stay far away from this...

Will you be accepting escrow for this?
Where are you shipping from?
1911  Other / Meta / Re: Abuse of Moderated Threads on: November 09, 2016, 06:11:15 PM
Seeing a self moderated thread in a marketplace section in the first place should be a warning flag. On top of that, feedback can be left on the trust system to try and warn people, or you can create your own thread to warn people about a self moderated scam topic.

Could you explain what you mean by it would lead to abuse of the trust system? Flagging shady dealers seems like its the perfect use for the trust system.

Well firstly most accounts are set on default trust.
If a member with little to no trust were to leave negative feedback then that in itself wouldn't be enough to warn others as they wouldn't see the negative trust on the OP's profile unless they look at the untrusted feedback.

In terms of the abuse, I was referring to any and every member leaving negative trust on any suspicious account without allowing the OP to answer the questions first. I could be wrong but I'd think that people would be much more 'eager' to leave negative trust in such a case even though it may not be fully justified.

Again, that could be an option but if this is a feature that SMF provides then surely it would make more sense to disable self moderated threads for new members rather than just relying on the trust system. I don't see the harm in doing so but feel free to correct me Smiley
1912  Other / Meta / Re: Abuse of Moderated Threads on: November 09, 2016, 05:10:57 PM
A similar thread here.

I think it's a good idea. I've seen few scam accusations against fairly new users who sells digital goods in self-moderated threads. They're increasing.

Indeed. The concept is similar but I'm not highlighting any specific example. There have been a fair few recently and I don't see any benefit in allowing new members to have this feature.
It should be something a member has to earn to be able to use after contributing to the forum. Not a tool that's accessible to new members looking to delete comments on their thread that's calling out their scam attempt.
1913  Other / Meta / Abuse of Moderated Threads on: November 09, 2016, 04:50:24 PM
Hey,
I've noticed that a lot of new members are making self-moderated threads in the marketplace section.
It seems as if these new members are looking to make a quick buck by offering a non existent good or service. In other words they're trying to pull off a feeble scam attempt.
The biggest issue with this is that every time you post to alert others of the possibil scam (without making an accusation thread as there is no evidence) the OP just deletes your post.
Leaving negative feedback isn't the best of ideas either as it'll ultimately lead to abuse of the trust system.

Having worked with SMF in the past I know that certain restrictions can be placed on user groups and boards. What do you think about the idea of disabling the self moderated thread option for new members? Even if this wasn't just limited to the marketplace section I think it could be beneficial overall.

What are your thoughts?
1914  Economy / Goods / Re: Cigarets [marlboro|lucky strike|winston|etc...] on: November 09, 2016, 12:52:27 PM
Hi,
Where are your cigarettes sourced from? What labels are on the box?
Can you please PM me with a price list and the brands you have.
I assume you ship internationally?

Thanks
1915  Other / Meta / Re: How Do I remove Feedback that I've left for someone on: November 09, 2016, 12:03:53 PM
This is kind of the wrong section for this.
However, if you click on said users username and then on trust you can see all the feedback left for them. On the list you'll see your own feedback and there'll be a button on the side which would allow you to remove your comments.
1916  Economy / Digital goods / [WTB] Starbucks $100 GC on: November 08, 2016, 07:05:49 PM

That Iraqi Kalashnikov is a beauty!
May I asks what matieral the AK is made of. I assume since it's purely decorative it's non functional and would be fine to ship internationally?

Thanks Smiley
1918  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Buy/Pay £1 with credit card for me, Il Pay you $5btc on: November 08, 2016, 12:55:27 AM
I can do this for you if you still need this. However because of trust issues I would either require you timeworn this or send payment first. If you're still interested please send me a PM. Thanks!
1919  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Kialara Physical Bitcoins/HAVEN: Update on: November 07, 2016, 06:29:16 PM
A very nice piece of art indeed.
I don't know why but all the pizza memes kind of made me expect something pizza related. Nonetheless this is definitely something new and exciting. My mouse is hovering over the add to basket button...
1920  Other / Archival / Re: Buy apple iphones with bitcoin.. sealed box iphones with 1 year apple warranty on: November 06, 2016, 04:24:14 PM
Negative trust added.
I will remove it if you prove that you do have the items.
Until then, I suggest you either do as asked or kindly take your business elsewhere.
This forum has had enough scam attempts lately. Enough is enough!
