Hey if I flash my vbios for GPUs and then reinstall the drivers for my AMD cards do I have to re-flash my cards or not? Thanks.
You don't need to flash the Bios after installing drivers, but you do need to disable the signature check any time you install or update the drivers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAiScXPisAY

I would remove all the drivers in safe mode using DDU. Then connect only the AMD cards and install the latest AMD drivers first. You then need to install the latest OpenCL runtime libraries from the AMD APP-SDK developer toolkit. http://developer.amd.com/amd-accelerated-parallel-processing-app-sdkAfter all the AMD cards are detected and working, connect the Nvidia card and install the latest driver. Also make the cards are not disabled with the -di parameter in the Claymore miner.

On your link I saw the RX 480 is also not available. I think this is a worldwide problem. The miners have bought up all the stocks of cards. In Europe, too, the same problem. AMD probably has the record sales. He asked when the cards will be in stock. What that site does, is notify you when they are in stock. You have to be quick because they sell out fast.

My understanding is the only way to undervolt AMD cards in Linux is to do it through the Bios. In Windows I use the top slider in Afterburner after enabling voltage control in the settings to undervolt.

Roll back to old drivers with no bios mod check....16.11 and below! Use DDU uninstaller to remove/clean drivers.
Run pixel patcher. Pixel patcher.. Is this not for RX 500 series? I'm running Rx 480's. The pixel patcher is for RX 4XX/5XX Bios modded cards in Windows https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAiScXPisAY

you need to find the right driver that works across ALL the cards. I had this issue, much headache. i BELIEVE 16.2 (3?) was the one. march 3rd driver? shit i sold all my AMD i cant remember ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Cause the new 500 series cards wont work on OLD drivers period, but the NEWEST drivers will cause issues when used on both 400 AND 500 mixed card rigs... This ones a bitch haha, but test ALL drivers, with DDU in between, if you find the right one it should work Course i HEAR b250 chipset sux for mining too on gaming boards.... :/ hmmmm I've had zero compatibility issues with any of the 17.4.X drivers in a mixed RX 4XX/5XX rig with memory strap Bios modded cards and a Nvidia 1080 card on the same rig. The AMD drivers less than 17.4.X are not compatible with the RX 5XX cards. I also update to the newest driver when it comes out. If you have Bios modded cards, all you need is to patch the signature check after you install the drivers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAiScXPisAY

Even if the epoch benchmark issue with the Claymore miner is not fixed or ETH goes to POS by that time, two RX 4XX/5XX card will easily do 620 H/s on ZEC or ~30% better than a 1070, or ~10% better than a 1080. Results for most other algoriths is similar. The bottom line is I can mine more coins for the same amount spent on cards with the RX 4XX/5XX than any Nvidia 10 series cards.
why you compare TWO RX4xx/5xx with ONE 1070? you think you will never pay off the investment? In case you never can get the money back from investment it makes anyway no sense to start even mining ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) After the investment is payed off you make with ONE 1070 ~ 470 Sol/s and with ONE RX4xx/5xx just ~ 320 Sol/s - so after investment is payed off, with which hardware you can mine more and get better profit? Or say it in this way, with 4 x 1070 i mine nearly the same than someone with 6 x RX4xx/5xx ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) I guess you missed or don't understand this part: The bottom line is I can mine more coins for the same amount spent on cards with the RX 4XX/5XX than any Nvidia 10 series cards. Even after the cards are paid off, I will still make more coins going with RX 4XX/5XX than I can buying 1070's or any other Nvidia 10 card and if the profitability drops, I will still be able to make a profit where a single 1070 won't.

The default clocks are too high for mining. When mixing cards, you need to find the best core and memory clocks for each card and apply the settings individually in Afterburner. I have a RX 580 8GB, two RX 480 8GB and two RX 570 4GB together on the same rig. I use 1130 - 1150 MHz for the core clock and 1975 - 2025 MHz for the memory clock depending on the card, together with the Uber Mix v3.1 timing strap mod. I also use the latest 17.6.2 driver.
Yup done that, tested each one and underclocked each, then applied when they were all together, yet it didn't work. Then it sounds like it could be a PSU issue from overloading the rails. Try running only one card per PCI-E connector and see if it helps.

RX 470 8 gb price is 220 eur and hashrate is up from GTX 1080
first of all you should be able to get some RX 470 8 gb which are on stock and sold at this price and what will you do with that cards in few weeks when they lose 30% hash power on ETH? going to one of the few alt-currencies (where for sure none of the other AMD miners will go to shred the profit there)? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Even if the epoch benchmark issue with the Claymore miner is not fixed or ETH goes to POS by that time, two RX 4XX/5XX card will easily do 620 H/s on ZEC or ~30% better than a 1070, or ~10% better than a 1080. Things must be rough where you live if you consider $540 for a 1080 and $460 for a 1070 a great deal. You could buy two of the RX 470 4GB mining cards for $500 or the gaming RX 570 4GB cards for less than that, if you can find them and get roughly 20-30% more hashrate for the same price.

Looks like the hacker froze the Caps lock on your keyboard. You expect someone to read that? LOL

Change the PCI-E slots to GEN 2 or GEN 1 in the Bios and see if it helps.

I would remove all the other cards and connect the card not working directly in the primary PCI-E x16 slot. Remove the drivers in safe mode using DDU and install the latest driver from the AMD website. If the card is still not detected in the Device Manager, then you probably have a dead card and will have to RMA it under warranty. If you have flashed a modded Bios to the card, it may not be replaced under warranty.
i have already connected this non working card directly to the PCI slot and installed driver, but didnton tried in safe mode, i will try it tomorrow, but i dont understand, if GPU is dead, why are leds lighting when i an turning pc on? Without eliminating the other possibilities it's hard to know. It could be a bad Bios flash. Also try another card that's working in the PCI-E x16 slot to make sure it's not a bad slot on the motherboard. If another card works and the other one doesn't, then it can only be a dead card. Unfortunately if it's not detected by Windows, I don't think you will be able to flash the card with a good Bios. thank you for your attention, i will try all these tomorrow and i will write what will happens. thanks a lot once again and good luck If you can't get it to recognize in Windows, you could try flashing the original Bios back to the card using atiflash from Dos by creating a boot disk. https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/46707-ms-dos-bootable-flash-drive-create.htmlhttps://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/how-to-use-atiflash.57750http://www.overclock.net/t/1353325/tutorial-atiwinflash-how-to-flash-the-bios-of-your-ati-cardshttp://www.overclock.net/t/593427/how-to-unbrick-your-bricked-graphics-card-fix-a-failed-bios-flash/230#post_25463481There is also a member here that does GPU repair work. You may want to contact him to see if he has any suggestions. Good luck. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1746977.0
