Trying to return in-topic, i see the problem as how establish a guaranteed income floor with minimum inconveniences. First of all, that would be much more compatible with capitalism compared with the incredibly complex and inefficient "welfare" bureaucracies we have. Now I am wondering if such guaranteed minimum income could be financed without resorting to taxation: I am imagining a free market of monies where the governmente issues its fiat with no "legal tender" obligations on the market. We know that the real point of taxation is to give an exchange value to fiat money, but there are probably other ways to render valuable such fiat money. For example making such fiat money a property share of privatized state's assets. Any other idea?

Best, James
I wish that you get bankrupted by your lawyer. That would be my best payment.

Hey con,
All this news coming out of the gold camp has to be concerning? Especially all of Traces work?
Concerning if you don't have gold/silver/btc/canned beans or a passport and an escape plan. Who is Traces?

;tldr: the current rally is fueled in considerable part by newbs generated by 2 months old good news.
Then the fun is still waiting to happen, given the last 2 months of financial news (like the trillion $ coins, the euro-trainweck, Japs going pedal to metal with the money printer, and on and on).

Was the Conspiracysphere youtube channel from the bitcointalk forum member Conspiracysphere.tk?

How is it a scam?
Go to mine for them and see if they pay.

I'm panicking since I bought too little of them a week ago! I'm going to keep some money on an exchange and pray for a dump.

It's just because we can't mine trillions of coinz. Wait until the debate moves on to the quadrillion-coin.

This reminds me of that scam of bitcoinplus. Hey, wait: IT IS bitcoinplus

This whole, "I broke the law issuing the bonds, but I'm abiding by the law repaying them" stance is a scam.
Of course. If I were way more bastard than I am I would pull the same trick here (not IRL or someone would shoot me in the knees).

I'd like to see a dividend payment before speaking about selling price.

Could anyone else ask Nefario to release the identity of this scammer? I already did it 2 or 3 times with no answer from him. Maybe if someone else do it he will answer.
|
|
|
Confused as to why this scammer tag hasn't been handed out yet. Are people waiting to recover some funds before tagging him?
It's Theymos who decides ultimately: I've decided that gigavps will not get a scammer tag for this. Nefario has proven himself to be untrustworthy, so it would be unreasonable for gigavps to pay out large sums of money based entirely on Nefario's list. Requiring affidavits and proofs of identity are reasonable precautions. It's impossible to strictly follow the contract in a safe way.
A bit of democracy would be appreciated here.

If YABMC is going to be relisting on an exchange, I would like it to be on a hidden service or on an stock/bond/asset exchange that is fully licensed to do so. If not, we would not ONLY be putting faith in a 3rd party exchange, but we would also have the fear of the government (US or otherwise) cracking down on the exchange.
Then even the asset should be legit and it would end in the same awful mess Giga went. No thanks. The risk of an exchange shutdown should be managed just with a backup plan.

Have we lost touch with what "scammer" means? A public company's owners have limited liability; they are not at fault if the company goes under or fails to meet its obligations. Unless someone made the YABMC issuers cosign the debt, there is no reason they have to pay it back to the shareholders—everyone will have to settle with a dividend of 0.
Look, it is not that they went under due to some business-related event: They admitted that they gave the coins to Pirate (!). For you is right to raise capital for mining and investing it in an an obvious Ponzi?
