1901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 17, 2021, 06:10:39 PM
Looking at Bangladesh's performance today, it seems that they are actually a very weak team. Their performance is also weak against inexperienced teams like Scotland. I don't think they have any qualifications to play in the main stage of the World Cup.
Do not forget, Bangladesh was the team who won recent home series against Australia and New Zealand. Today also Scotland should have been bowled out for less than 100 runs as Scotland was struggling by losing 6 wickets for 53 runs. But, T20 matches are mainly known for extreme swings like this; from 6 for 53 runs to winning the match in the end definitely a rolls-coaster ride.

Despite all odds are in favour of India, I still feel it will be a very much balanced competition where both teams have equal chances of winning. Love to see Pakistan pace attack against the world best batting side.
T20 matches are anybody's game. Best batting or pace attacks may not be sufficient against a smart team. I guess West Indies are another team which must have better odds than India but unfortunately most of the talented WI players are not into their national team for some reasons.
1902  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC hovers above $61K amid US regulators against physical product Bitcoin ETF on: October 17, 2021, 05:22:17 PM
Who cares about BTC ETF? There are already plenty of ways to trade BTC no matter if you are small retail investor or one of the biggest company (tesla).
I do not think that it will be appropriate to underestimate the powers of stock markets of USA kind of country. Bitcoin ETF will enable people to buy/hold/trade bitcoin like any other stocks with the same margin which meant for their usual stock related activities. So, there would be definite impact we could expect when we get bitcoin ETF hits live markets.

(Gold ETF should be considered here for good example, even gold is limited by 250k metric tons, we could buy/trade more than that with the help of ETF; similarly bitcoin ETF will help more than 21 million people to buy and hold more than 1 bitcoin each, theoretically).

in short, Bitcoin has become bigger than ETF.
I agree, still consider this scenario: bitcoin already got 1 trillion marketcap hence it does not need any individual investor who are going to buy 0.001 or lesser BTC. I strongly believe we still need them and the same applies for bitcoin ETF as well.
1903  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC hit 70k$ this Christmas? on: October 17, 2021, 03:00:18 PM
With how things are progressing, it seems that $70k is very possible now before this holiday.
I believe, one major boost is the approval of SEC with Bitcoin ETF.
As they will launch it next week, we will see the pulse of the market if it can sustain this increase.
When the OP created this thread, btc was in the 50k level, and only after about 10days, the increase is more than 10k.
So another 10k increase from the current price will very well achieve the target of $70k, which is feasible to happen.
I believe that with 61k+ price right now we are going to get a correction soon. People will assume that it is a bad thing while I will buy from that price and I would be making a good profit from that level as well. I do not get why people are worrying about corrections. Depending on the result of that correction we may see something like 70k or even more or we may end up dropping as well.

The problem with corrections is that it needs to happen so that people who want to take their profits out will have a place and time to sell and get out and if you do not really understand that and get a panic sale going from too many people after that correction (or during) then you are going to end up with something like a start of a bear run. If that happens then we are going to have a problem but if not then we are going to break 70k a lot before Christmas for sure.
1904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Initiation. on: October 17, 2021, 07:09:09 AM
Do you think uncensored gambling is better for crypto as a whole?
I believe that you need to be more precise about what is "uncensored".

Usually uncensored means not suitable for family viewing due to various obvious reasons like foul language and adult scenes. But, I just wonder what you mean by uncensored in gambling perspective.

Do you mean no license requirement is uncensored?
Do you mean non-existence of any resolution platform or authority is uncensored?
Non-enforcement of provably fair environment kind of situation is uncensored?

If you refer regulation is gambling industry is censorship, then I would say it is the most needed one for the welfare of both the parties. Yeah, casinos also need protection against abusers and a regulation is not usually working for only one party.
1905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most popular bitcoin-only poker sites? on: October 17, 2021, 04:59:42 AM
I know there are more mainstream poker sites that use bitcoin in addition to other methods, but I'm wondering if there are any more bitcoin-only sites that I've missed.
No, there would be very thin possibilities for bitcoin-only gambling sites to be existing. I mean not just poker gambling offering site, but in general with all types of gambling also, we cannot find a services to be accepting only bitcoins as these days altcoins have become a prominent options in gambling industry. I am sorry, I could not recall a gambling site which is accepting only bitcoins and offering poker.

Probably, you may look for a casino which is not accepting any kind of fiats including different payment processors. Because, when a casino handles fiat then it may start enforcing us to clear KYC at any time and most gamblers still hate it.
1906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinion, NFT last long or not ? on: October 16, 2021, 09:07:42 PM
Without a doubt, Axie Infinity is the world's leading NFT game, its success has been based on the game economy and taking advantage of the most vulnerable economies, making its business model generate employment through scholarships that can be assigned , the game takes advantage of the community of gamers to let them know that what they do can be very well rewarded and that is where the success lies, in addition to the degree of complexity that the game has in the PVP encounters.

If we add to this the different updates that are being made, this makes the community increase, and this will extend the life of NFT games as a whole, if the games follow this scheme I think they will have a long life.
Do you ever feel like there is a good chance that we get to see Axie becoming worse while other games go up. I understand that bitcoin blockchain is not the best blockchain and bitcoin is not the "best" coin thinking how there are so many that improved on it and made better stuff but bitcoin is still the first one at the top with biggest marketcap. However axie is a game, and let's be honest it is not a good game neither, it is a mobile app level of game and not a good proper computer game.

There could be SOOOO many better games, the gaming world could provide us with AAA game that could be worth 200-300 million dollars to build and then we would have an NFT game that took 100+ coders and 100+ other people total of 200-250 staff, and 200-300 million dollars (marketing included) and you would have something that would be literally 10000x better than Axie. I am not saying that will happen, but what if? What if it happens? What will happen to crypto world?
1907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Analysts announce the start of altcoin season on: October 16, 2021, 08:28:09 PM
Trading those altcoins had been very frustrating in the last few days,  price consolidating all through, after all sort of Analysis I couldn't get a convincing signal for buying despite the fact that both bitcoin and ethereum had trended bullish since last week, the few signal I traded didn't end well, I hope that the anticipated altcoins bullish trend start from now having waited for quite some time though it's good to exercise patience once the trend starts alot of those coins will trend massively with high volatility.
Do not look at the signals because you are not going to be making a lot of profit by doing something like that, you would be making profit by buying and holding. If you end up trading constantly then you are not going to get the situation you should be getting with the amount of returns. You are going to end up with something like a loss in the end (or just not a big up) if you do not hold for a long time.

If you keep on trading short term then there will be times when you end up with losing money, trading has loss in it and you are going to be losing a lot of money and making a lot of money and hope that you are making a profit overall. However if you are hodling then you are going to be making a lot of profit as long as you end up waiting you need to.
1908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: have you ever play or won from a crypto exchange lottery? on: October 16, 2021, 03:10:54 PM
I see more and more people posting they won from the lottery which is in pancakeswap
Just because of this, I come to know there are lotteries are being offered in those decentralized exchanges. I am into very few centralized and decentralized exchanges but never got chances to experiences any such lotteries. Only on few cryoto casino, I have bought lotteries still never won anything in all my attempts.

Those who got lucky at these lotteries are chosen ones. It even has a high chance to be struck by lightning compare to winning in the lottery lol.
Are you sure about this? Are referring only about the place what OP had mentioned or in general. I am regularly rolling on one famous crypto site and I getting regularly around 100 lottery tickets for last 4 to 5 years still never got chances to win anything. So, probably you are right with respect to most places.
1909  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: October 16, 2021, 12:03:33 PM
I chose Michael Fassbender is because his face is similar to the previous actor of James Bond and I think his face is cool. His eyes have an untold story that will match with James Bond. But whoever will be chosen to be the next James Bond will become a new idol among the girls because girls want to see a sexy guy with a full of secrets behind his life.
I would assume that there will be a black female lead as James Bond next time around. Not just because it is hip to recast a white male role as a black female one which Hollywood has been doing for a while now, no idea why they are trying to do that and I am a progressive, but to move away from politics of it, they did mention something like this.

So, this means we have wide open list and not just age related white males anymore, we could be talking about literally everyone. From Jackie Chan level of action hero Asian to black female lead like Tessa Thompson or similar. When you have that many options that literally "anyone" can become James Bond, then we have no idea who it will be.
1910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin you hold for Next Bull Run on: October 16, 2021, 10:14:38 AM
Im holding a few good top coins to be sold when the next bullish trend will come soon. I do believe if SHIBA, SOLANA, and Polygon will be going to the moon soon. These coins have low marketcap compared with another top 10 coins in the cmc. It makes sense to hodl these coins for the next bullish trend. In my opinion it's not worth to hodl top coins for the next bullrun. The more marketcap reached by top coins and less room to growth. I do believe medium coins should become the solution to give us bunch of money for sure. That's why i were picking some good coins. The fact that if so many times people have become the new millionaires by holding the small cap - medium cap coins and these coins have entered into the top coins like AXS, SOL and many more.
They are not low cap, they are quite high cap right now. When people are talking about low cap stuff they are not talking about stuff that are in the top 10 or even top 50. When we are talking about small cap stuff we are talking about stuff that are not even in the top 500 stuff. However, if you want to hold SOL or Shiba then it is on you and you can do whatever you want, they could still go up, just because they are in top 10 doesn't mean that they will not go up, they can still go up a lot.

SOL is a bit better, they are a great ecosystem building project, they stopped their blockchain when there was a problem and that is a horrible power to imagine, it is centralization so I am out of it now, but I understand people who are in. However I do not get the people who invest into Shiba, that is made as a memecoin that was on a hype and nothing more, why would you care about it?
1911  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin trading? can Bitcoin trading profitable without having lost? on: October 16, 2021, 09:32:47 AM
Don't rely on the ranks of the users, some users here are professional trader but have newbie or lower accounts. It is not possible to trade Bitcoin without losing since the market is volatile and we really not sure what will happen in the future it is part of trading but there are many things you can do to reduce your lose, such as risk reward ratio and stop loss.

I think it is possible to trade Bitcoin without losing but it is through Arbitrage trading, not quite sure how does it work exactly but you can try to look online or on YouTube about it.
There are ways too many people who never heard of bitcointalk and still made millions on crypto as well. I have a few friends like that, they did not know what bitcointalk was and they made a good return from their investments as well. I am not saying that it is easy to make a million dollars or you do not need bitcointalk neither, it just could happen.

Bitcointalk is a very famous forum and there are millions going back and forth here constantly each month, we have so many bounties and so many ads and so forth that it is definitely something 1+ million dollars changing hands here, so it is a great forum. However just because it is a great place doesn't mean that we can't make a profit by never looking at here neither, you could make a great profit by just focusing on learning how to trade and then you can use what you learned without looking here.
1912  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you learn to trade? Did you learn it in a hard way or?...... on: October 15, 2021, 07:10:45 PM
Sometimes we can get a different result by using demo since actually we will not feel the real tension between dealing with our money upon trading since we are more careful and more attentive when our decision making on each trade we do compare doing trades on demo account where we are not careful and just doing a experimental trades. Although its quite helpful but the experience you can get is different.
I believe that demo and the real thing would be great if you could understand that demo is what you would do in real life if you take it seriously. However many people do demo like it is a game and they do not care about it and that is why they end up earning so much in the demo part but then end up losing money in the real trading.

I do demo so seriously, in fact I try to beat everyone in the leaderboard which I end up failing so far, I am in 113th place in 9k+ people which is fine for me but I need to be in the top 100 at least in my mind. I have been doing it for a while. Plus if you do demo first and do great then do not jump in with all your money, test the real thing with small amounts and you will be doing fine.
1913  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Watford FC Main Sponsor - UFC Official Betting Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: October 15, 2021, 06:31:41 PM
A casino and it's support grows with their userbase, as Stunna mentioned in one of his previous posts. They took away the VIP hosts for Platinum I and then recently for Platinum II ...because too many people reached those ranks and the hosts cannot handle all those VIP's.

#Stunna promised that this will change in the future and they will train more hosts for most of the VIP's in all the ranks. Let's hope this applies to the support too.... because we saw how Coinbase got a lot of flack... when they grew too quickly and their support started to suck.  Roll Eyes
I would say that they are doing so great that they are actually doing worse. What I mean by that is the fact that they are getting to a level where they are so famous and have so many new people (stunna said 10x more players) that results with worse results from what made them so popular in the first place. You become amazing, and then people come in and because there are so many people you slowly start to give less support and have less staff per gambler number and eventually you are not going to be getting something that is profitable for you and stake will start to lose customers again in the future.

This is a fact, if you do not offer what you used to offer people in the long run then you are going to be able to not get the same results and eventually people will not be able to get that great thing anymore and they will start to leave and you are not going to be getting that many new customers anymore because of the high number and you are not offering the same thing anymore.
1914  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: October 15, 2021, 03:22:43 PM
Perhaps they should add some reward for 00000, haha.

They could just halve the prize for 10000 and distribute that to 00000, or perhaps even reform the whole system to reward both extremes.

Probably will be able to create the illusion of better odds imho. Might be something to look into.
I do agree that there is a good chance we could end up with 00000 being a thing as well. They have been offering 200 bucks for 10k for a long time, and we know that it does sometimes hit, there was a whole topic about it as well where mostly newbies wrote because freebitcoin offers money to people who share their 10k win, so people are willing to even open an account on bitcointalk and share their win, which means not only they win 200 bucks, but they get something on top of that just to share their win as well.

I would say that if they are rich enough to do something like this then they are probably rich enough to get something to the winner of 00000 as well. Maybe not 200 bucks but it should also not be same as getting all those 9k+ available options as well, should be something bigger. Maybe 20 bucks is better? Even 2 bucks would have been better to be fair.
1915  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome to Uptoberfest on: October 15, 2021, 01:16:22 PM
This is a welcome break from the bears.

If you notice what is happening, every time BTC drops bears come out of hiding and tries to create FUD.

Instead of buying in that FUD, the time proven strategy is just keep holding your current position and if you do have the liquidity to do so, continue to dollar cost average into BTC. Given the increasing scarcity and improvements in the technology, it is inevitable that price rises in the long run.
I really feel the same. We had so many people shorting that eventually it turned to something that is a very big trouble and that is why I am very relieved that we are doing fine right now. Yes it is still not good enough and there are times it has corrections and that is why there is always a situation where we are going to not know what is going to happen.

I understand that we are not going to have any situation that we would know beforehand. However, it is cool to finally see it doing fine, yes it is not going to be like this forever and we are going to have to live with the situation where it is not going to be good so we are going to have a bad situation eventually but it is basically good right now and I am looking at the good part for now and not the horrible part that may come up in the future. Let's hope that this continues for a long time.
1916  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥BFG is listed on CoinGecko|⚡️Free BTC+BNB|🐒 ApeSwap partnership on: October 14, 2021, 10:48:07 AM
there are many options to be able to raise the value, if we take into account, Betfury has a great possibility that they can raise the price of the token having as a fundamental premise to be listed on a level 1A exchange, as many have asked. make it Binance.

It is very noticeable that if the token reaches Binance, the price will increase, nothing more with the volume that is handled would be something very positive, I would be inclined to save my tokens, somehow Betfury has done things very well, and get involved In the market it is not easy at all, I think that it is necessary to give more time while the plans to be able to establish itself in an Exchange of that level are given.
I understand that everyone wants it to be listed on Binance but it is really difficult to get listed there. First of all, the token itself should be a strong one, and the price doesn't reflect that at all, it loses power instead of gaining it, it should be something that people want to buy, and not only sell (of course they may want to sell too, everything is sold, it should also be bought though). However, even if we remove that, listing this would not be profitable for them, there isn't enough volume to make it profitable for Binance either. So, why should Binance list a token that has low volume and mainly gets sold? They could pick one that gets hyped and has huge volume.
1917  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitvest is a scam on: October 14, 2021, 08:20:34 AM
A "instant cashout" casino where the hotwallet is ALWAYS empty. At a certain point, call it what it is, they're choosing to leave the hot wallet empty. It's not as if an unexpected surge of cash outs is the problem.
But don't worry, you can still play your crypto in the meantime! Hot wallet will be filled as soon as you bust.
If you get bored, don't forget to come to chat and have one of the mods repeatedly literally harrass you, including specifically banning you for 3 minutes then unbanning you (because they weren't justified to begin with) just so you won't get rain anymore ("the same person shouldn't be getting top spot every rain")

Oh and promo? That doesn't even exist anymore.
It is not just about paying, it is not about bonus neither, it is about him being this late each time and then paying a bonus to make it look like it is fine. First of all they are already paying less than almost any place, I do not want to say lowest because maybe there is any lower that I do not know about, but I have never seen any lower before. On top of that they keep the money for 2 months and then they end up saying they will pay with bonus.

What did he do, gambled with it himself? Invested it? Made profit from what he should have paid 2 months ago and now putting it back with some profit on his pocket? We have no idea what he did.

If you are not paying on time, it is fine for the first few times after you pay, but if you are doing it all the time then it sounds like there could be a problem that will not be fixed, how do you know he will not be AWOL again for 2 months?
1918  Economy / Economics / Re: Fuel prices hitting an eight year high on: October 13, 2021, 05:37:11 PM
So what you are basically saying there is that it's a price increase caused by low supply and high demand.

I dont particularly pay attention to oil price but I notice that people were talking about it with it's consequences on the price of certain products and services. This should remind us that these things are somewhat interconnected just like in nature. If you affect something that have lots of things that are dependent on it, the dependent ones may likely suffers along with what they're depending on. Same thing happens in nature and human society.  You don't "negatively" affect those that have lots of others depending on them.  Lots of people depend on something important without knowing it. They should be really careful affecting it negatively
Depending on something could be a problem if it is something that is bad for the world. Oil is bad, fuel is bad, it hurts the world we live and that is why we are having so many fires all around the world whenever summer approaches. This is why we can't really have anything that is decent in the world because all the things that profit people are also things that hurt the world as a whole as well.

All in all high demand gets covered with high supply instead of alternatives and that causes the problem. Oil prices reached literally under zero at some point, during the start of the pandemic, and now its high, this could be avoided with alternatives getting more attention so that oil is not the only thing we depend on.
1919  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: *Day Traders* are now calling gambling Addiction helplines!! on: October 11, 2021, 06:53:17 PM
Those traders who adhere to the rules of trading and do not exceed the risks when opening deals will not face such a problem, since for them trading is one of the types of work, and not a way of entertainment.
Sticking to the basics of trading is not easier unlike how it sounds theoretically while everyone learns from books or videos. This is the reason, most traders do break the rules of trading by taking too much or risks and then start gambling with the markets. So, there will be no shocking on seeing traders are approaching addiction helplines. I have seen people who got addicted to trading in exact similar manner to how gambling addiction ruins one's life.

If 2-3 loses are in a row and it's very, very usual, then you are becoming more nervous and the more nervous you are, the more mistakes you make. Finally, you are becoming addicted!
I am not seeing any big differences on what usually gamblers do after losses from what traders do after losses. Losses->nerves->more losses->chasing losses->keep trying->addicted.
1920  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency: The Future of Finance in a New World Order? on: October 11, 2021, 03:01:51 PM
As they always say: "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". For years, Fiat (in its current form) has been the predominant type of currency. Even after the inception of crypto/Blockchain tech, Fiat is still relevant. Some banks are beginning to experiment with digital currencies of their own. But it'll take a long time before paper money is phased out for good.

Believe me, I wouldn't want to see a future where every country relies on a global currency in a "New World Order". This would mean the end of an era for privacy as we speak. Surveillance efforts will increase at an alarming rate, with a system powered by AI and Blockchain tech. Luckily, crypto will be there to save the day thanks to its decentralized and censorship-resistant design. As long as people have crypto, there should be nothing to worry about. Just my thoughts Grin
I do believe that there is a middle ground somewhere in there. I do believe that fiat will always stay in power and nothing else (even crypto) will pass it. However, I also believe that there is a good chance fiat will not be as powerful as it is right now. So, while devaluing and becoming less important, it will still be seen as the most important one anyway no matter what.

This is why I believe that there is going to be some sort of power struggle between crypto and fiat but not for the top, top will always belong to fiat, the struggle will be for payments. We do not have use payments in fiat to make fiat valuable, we could still calculate everything in dollars, but the payment could be done with crypto, that is what we are doing around here, and it could grow so much bigger to include the rest of the world. That is at least what I believe is possible, but it could be different of course.
