1901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the Bitcoin price if "self-reporting of every wallet address" on: September 04, 2022, 11:22:48 AM
I just read this in another thread:

If that happens, what will the price make? Because before that comes, I would sell all my early mined Bitcoin (2010 - 2011). Then Bitcoin wouldn't be Bitcoin as I knew it anymore.

You can't be curious to make unduly price charts prior the new-age-evolution? Or you probably can? That's impossible: maybe it'll stoop too low, maybe not but that's not even the important question here.

Makes me feel you haven't taken the greed in the so-called normalized democracy into consideration? If you have, you'll understand that the US government haven't been able to curtail the minor effects of inflation on its citizens, having Petro-dollar on thier monetory system as a "medium of exchange", so what makes you think they'll be able to control the new world's digital currency- as a store of value- ?
This simply means- in my own little cognitive - that the price will definitely DROP but may be controlled.
I'm just making a quick thoery and it dawn on me. I decided to make it self explicable.

Cheers

1902  Economy / Reputation / Re: [self-moderated] Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source on: September 04, 2022, 03:46:24 AM
Hey loyce  Smiley
Uhhh, yeah uhmm...I dunno how best to express this but I'll try.
I have been in the forum for atleast a couple of months and I think I've seen alot of mind-blowing threads that deserves this accoladesmerit (since it was created as a way to say ''thank you"" either for a new discovery or a "point well proven") but in turns, it seems the whole system is kinda stock. I don't wanna say much but just keep doing your good work as The Sceptical chymist does his too, who knows?!

This isn't really bout me, how? I make quality Post, yeah but I see alot out there too just like myself tbh. I was trying to say if I could possibly take it upon myself to maybe show 'em off here? So is you requiring any rank to specialize on that notion?

Warm regards,
Sandra❣️
1903  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Brain-bug: Open Asset Protocol on: September 03, 2022, 11:08:02 PM
@NotATether,

Thanks so much for a little illumination over my blurred perception.. it was quite unclear: how OP_PUSHDATA works, how it pushes, why some substantial data is left behind and only one is picked out of the group.
Tbh,I have learnt alot and I saw your replies long ago, just that I had to go on diverse ethical research to know if it cuts! As I said, if I come across any difficulties in the near future,I'll still get back to everyone here- seems we have alot of bitcoin Albiet and Sir Newton? 😂

Cheers,
Sandra❣️

Hey everyone 👩‍🦱

I came across this topic few days ago and I have also decided to join the fun. Smiley
I achieved the member rank yesterday but that's not very satisfactory as I'm close to a new rank.
I'm not a troll neither am I a shitty-head poster so maybe I'd try some luck; hope it cuts!

1906  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Brain-bug: Open Asset Protocol on: September 01, 2022, 12:36:29 AM

OP_RETURN is used to make a script fail therefore any bitcoin sent in a script that has OP_RETURN will be locked (lost) forever. It is used by some protocols to put text messages on the Blockchain.

Hmm,
I was thinking maybe that's just one of it function? and it has alot more; take a good look at something I found.

The illus at
https://github.com/OpenAssets/open-assets-protocol/blob/master/specification.mediawiki

Code:
Data in the marker output      Description
    -----------------------------  -------------------------------------------------------------------
    0x6a                           The OP_RETURN opcode.
0x10                           The PUSHDATA opcode for a 16 bytes payload.
0x4f 0x41                      The Open Assets Protocol tag.
    0x01 0x00                      Version 1 of the protocol.
0x03                           There are 3 items in the asset quantity list.
    0xac 0x02 0x00 0xe5 0x8e 0x26  The asset quantity list:
                                   - '0xac 0x02' means output 0 has an asset quantity of 300.
                                   - Output 1 is skipped and has an asset quantity of 0
because it is the marker output.
                                   - '0x00' means output 2 has an asset quantity of 0.
                                   - '0xe5 0x8e 0x26' means output 3 has an asset quantity of 624,485.
                                   - Outputs after output 3 (if any) have an asset quantity of 0.
IMO, it means an OP_RETURN serves playrole differently in diverse operations ; that's very obvious in this case or maybe I'm wrong?

Edit*
I create thread about OP_RETURN, but it was a year ago. See Some question about OP_RETURN. If it's not what you're looking for, you probably refer to thread Can't NFTs work on Bitcoin?.

Yeah, a great deal.
I found all informations through those links very useful; most especially the first one.
I'm currently running programs exclusively for adults on this: I'll have to create new threads whenever I have Complexities like this one, stay tuned.
P/s: any further contributions et critics are welcomed
Thanks alot 👩‍🦱
Cheers

1907  Other / Meta / Re: Is the forum now attracting people trying to impress for reward? on: August 31, 2022, 11:27:40 AM
It quite easy to spot threads from those who don't seem passionate about things they post. You kind of feel they are trying to impress others for rewards or attract attention to themselves. I wonder if they will continue to post if viewers, merits, or paid campaigns disappear completely?
Hmm, how's this imbalance of passion read in your own scale of prejudice? Huh? If you look at the whole thing from the critical aspect, shunning any form of sentiment then you'll understand that people don't take much pleasure in doing something they're not paid for.... Getting payments from a sig campaign doesn't mean- atleast for the Noble ones- that they're just gonna be overwhelmed by the greed and neglect the very fact that they have to make quality Post; atleast that's not how I see it 👩‍🦱

Quote
I know of people who post their minds whether there are views/rewards or not. There is one specifically in off-topic section who occasionally post in his thread and don't seem to care about replies from others... That is the kind of forum experience I want... post from the heart. The passion and talent is very important so we have people creating threads that are from the heart.
I know a handful of them too (myself included).
Quote
*Here is a word of advise to passionate posters, you don't need forum views or forum rewards to change the World.
This is a fallacious statement,I'm sorry to say; IMO bitcoin talk forum wasn't made so an individual could just come around and talk to himself, more like a soliloquy or something?... that's awkward! It was made to be interactive all round* atleast to some point except you don't want 'em around so you need views because we are all teaching and learning in the same process so you can't say you're teaching people when nobody is listening, can you?

As for the benefits, I think the invention of merit wasn't a misconception and also users we're not meant to run away from getting merited; tbh I sometimes see alot of good Post that I shouldn't hesitate to merit but is either I'm too busy or out of Smerit.
Cancel that ideology dude.
Quote
I can guarantee you that if your post or idea is revolutionary, it will be noticed and used even if the view counter is showing "zero view"... and you definitely get rewarded for the great idea. This is mystery only those who are awake will understand.

Maybe @fillipone ,@Ddmr and the rest of the DT squad are wrong in thier analysis? Or maybe I'm too paranoid?
That's a story for another day.

Cheers

1908  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] Roobet.com Signature Campaign | The Honest Online Casino | Full Members+ on: August 31, 2022, 09:48:01 AM

Are you just gonna stop spamming this thread? If you're having any problems with your account or whatsoever, why don't you reach out to the customer care representatives?

Save yourass the whole stress of writing a wall of text, bolded on red ink next time. I'm hearing a scam from ROOBET for the first time which is blatant lie.

P/s: don't reply to this here either or I'm just gonna report ASAP.

Again stop spamming this thread
I don't know wether or not you're being scammed but I strongly believe that Mr ROO won't dish out much money on campaigns, advertisments and contest just to defraud you of a mere 2k dolls? Does that make any sense? With picture evidence and replies in a case we aren't even sure if you tried to mess around or violet thier T/C's?

That's gonna serve as a final warning!
Go to the reputation board and lay your complaints, if you really think you've been scammed.

1909  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Brain-bug: Open Asset Protocol on: August 31, 2022, 06:33:28 AM
Coinbase transactions don't need to be signed by anyone - these contain the rewards miners receive from generating a new block (plus fees that have been spent on transactions).

For question one, to pay someone you have to provide a hash of their public key as an output.
To spend that output you have to provide the hash that you were output to and then your public key (and miners have to verify your public key can become the hash/address - and then validate the signature).

The hash is a redundant security measure (redundant means extra in this case, it doesn't mean useless). It enables for bitcoin to remain fairly secure if the main signature algorithm fails.

Thanks @jackg
I have taken great note of your aphorism and I think atleast I have understood why the hashes are redundant and how miners  makes profit as the system block size increases tbh, I think I'm clear on that Smiley...

I still have some other relevant questions below,I'll be glad to hear from anyone else.

Wow,  Shocked
This is infact, a mind blowing brilliance!! I'd give alot of merit if I had Smerit. This will remind anyone of who a user is and whatever deals you both had Mmmm  Smiley, but I was thinkingthat it hasn't,in anyway gone contrary (rule-wise)

So I'll begin to know a handful of peeps and the deal we had just by looking at their profile; satisfactory I'd say Cheesy.
Maybe we'll have to save up some shit posters as shit-head or something??

Kudos @Tryninja

I have had alot of controversies over the last one but I have decided to share this one;

P/s: I'm a tutor and I add everything I learn to my tutoring scheme ofcourse, that's how it works. For this reason, I will really be pleased if every reply is properly ascertain💆
Section 1:
Assets are pseudonymously represented by iDs i came to realize that even though this asset have IDs, the anonymity is maintained. These definitely means that asset don't have any prior means of recognition or identification without their IDs which, ofcourse has to be hashed by the issuer, using an already generated privkey right? I need more clarity.

Q1
  • Quote
The ID of an asset is the RIPEMD-160 hash of the SHA-256 hash of the output script referenced by the first input of the transaction that initially issued that asset (script_hash = RIPEMD160(SHA256(script)))

    Q2
The integer or ID itself is a product of a SHA256 hash in reference to an input that initially issued that asset? Is this supposed to mean that if an asset came from a different source entirely, that it references are recorded for intermediary trnxs or what?  Huh
  • what if an output for the assets were being sent out to the receiver for the first time which will mean having no reference, how then are the integers or IDs hashed?

Section 2:
The maker output starts with an OP_RETURN opcode but it must contain PUSHDATA opcodes containing a parsable Open Assets marker payload. If multiple parsable PUSHDATA opcodes exist in the same output, the first one is used, and the other ones are ignored.

Q3:
• i haven't really run SHA256 hashes on mainet so I don't know if PUSHDATA produces the same random figures on different trnx? That's not true right?
•Are those PUSHDATA some compacted replicable codes so for that reason, anyone of them could function?
• if at the tail end,one phase of the code serves, what's the point of replication then? security?
Lastly, someone made a post bout OP_RETURN weeks ago(should be @NotAtheter, @ETFbitcoin or @blackHatCoiner?) if only I can vividly remember.... The OP was curious bout main function of OP_RETURN; the above should serve as one major function☺️

Sorry if the whole thing is cumbersome....feel free to drop your ideas cus I LEARN AS I TEACH.

1912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be worth zero? on: August 29, 2022, 07:58:27 PM
We all know how volatile and unpredictable the cryptocurrency market can be.

Yes, being volatile is part of the petty sentiments, why? It's gives a designated time for the BULLS and the BEARS even to NEWBIES that are also interested to HODL btc.

P/s: these volatility ain't symetrical because the market doesn't run itself; sometimes, it is based on concurrent repositioning on the world's economy which, we all know as a major catalyst of degradation.
IMO, bitcoin has taken more than a decade to raise a formidable and an unfathomable, structural brilliance so I don't even think an eclipse will do much harm.

austerity better than warSAVE LIVES IN AFRICA
The Ethiopians are dying everyday for the fact that they have
failed to realize that every successful country, say atleast 5%
practice real democracy and it keeps increasing exponentially as time fades.....
The have been blasted with alot of crises lately since they
became a federal parliamentary republic; this, as a matter of fact ain't helping things go right, coupled with :
          •degradation
          •population increase
•no proper plans for environmental rehabilitation
I saw a couple of informations yesterday about the situation.

The government shouldn't fold their arms and watch citizens dying; countries that are part of thier common wealth should help!    ...the likes of china etc

I had an info about the current attack on them, the ILLUS at :
1914  Economy / Economics / Re: UK inflation to top 18% in early 2023 on: August 25, 2022, 11:04:25 PM

Inflation has always been the major compromise to any country's economy thus, this situation is very appalling and needs immediate rehabilitation for the winter; it's gonna be worst when the government are too concerned about politics but cannot solve major inflation traumas like this , that makes me sick to my stomach...  Cry
The Government should prioritize the physical wellness of the citizens; climatic change is no one's fault but nature must have it's way and this,as a matter of fact are seasons that must come and go. During the winter, the regional temperature rises up to       with which it's almost impossible to survive without proper suitings and medications.
I personally will urge whoever is in control of building houses around that peripherals to do the proper thing. I mean, how should people burn up thier trash/bins just to warm up?? That's equally killing yourself down...huh

1916  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Samsung Investing on Crypto (Bitcoin) in South Korea on: August 25, 2022, 09:47:13 PM
I disagree with Upgrade00 on this

Investing in cryptocurrencies is different from starting an exchange platform.
That's not even gonna add any material value though; atleast it will grant BTC some popularity and also a little trickle in blockchain transactions and bitcoin circulation, why? How? These group of companies make multi-million sales everyday all over thier branches and sub-branches across the world so if they're bringing up an idea like this, don't you think thier customers could prolly adopt the system of buying with btc? Which could serve as another means to make shopping easily accessible to everyone.
+ How 'bout if the company decides to utilize bitcoin as a store of value over time? This is a fabulous start to me and I think they may have future plans but that, of course is unknown to anyone just yet.

Is this because they feel the same way as I do or because their signature campaign requires that they make first or sencond page. I know that franky1 is not in any signature campaign so I am curious to know. Is this normal? And are there other users who feel this same way too?

Goshhhh...! This is exactly the same solecistic barriers we are  battling every single day and yet,it replicates... I mean, you can prolly run some preview on your post just so you don't repeat the whole phrase. That being said, most campaign rules don't support post bumping but I don't think that's enough reason why those dudes avoid an already compacted thread;  when once a thread increases in page number, there are likely some repetitions and that, of course may limit you from getting merited: that's if you wrote something brilliant. N/B merit sources
barely visit a 5+ pages thread except for important ones, the likes of the one on speculation board

It is not nice to hear that people are loosing Funds; it makes the insurance made to engulf the interest of the masses for utmost security run on the contrary. So maybe it's the bank's fault for fixing wrongly programmed synchronization, I'd say it should be fixed
