1902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTC and TRC getting removed from btce -- which currency will replace them? on: November 13, 2013, 10:37:06 PM
You could always blackmail them into adding a coin, like they did with NVC Smiley
1903  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.91 BTC loan needed shortly. Collateral: 80 GH/s on: November 13, 2013, 10:30:03 PM
That's not collateral; that's just a method of paying back.
1904  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.65 BTC loan for my nephews and niche on: November 13, 2013, 07:42:05 PM
I can supply this loan for 76 LTC collateral. PM me for deposit address.

That green Trust ratings tip worked very well with TradeFortress, good advice. Let's be clear here that this trust rating is easily manipulated.

Yeah that's why I said "always use escrow". I never had TradeFortress in my trust list and even gave a heads up about him when he first started posting here.
1906  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BUYING BTC FOR CASH IN THE MAIL IN THE USA on: November 13, 2013, 05:48:21 PM
EP is legit. Probably up there with JohnK as far as trust-worthiness goes. Good luck with the purchase, homie.
1907  Economy / Lending / Re: Radical business venture on: November 13, 2013, 05:42:22 PM
Well why do that when I have a $100,000 idea right here?

I like your idea from last year better...the one where you asked for a loan of 40% of all Bitcoins then in existence Smiley
1908  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BEWARE of dagro on: November 13, 2013, 05:37:40 PM
I have flagged him with negative trust. In the future please keep in mind that new users who do business with other new users stand nearly a 100% chance of getting scammed. I'd advise you to only do business with established long-time members (look for the ones with green Trust ratings), and always be extra careful and use escrow.
1909  Economy / Lending / Re: Radical business venture on: November 13, 2013, 05:24:57 PM
Hey Dank, I have a radical business venture for you. It's called a job application, and it costs you nothing to get one. How about you give that a shot? Cheesy
1910  Economy / Lending / Re: Tomatocage's 0% interest loans, up to 20 BTC (collateral required) on: November 13, 2013, 05:23:11 PM
Oh damn I just realized I didn't reload my McxNOW account with BTC. I'm going to have to return these 8 FEE shares until later tonight, AlexC. I'll post back when I get home and get some liquidity into my account there. Sorry about that!

1912  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User705 sold me a broken video card. on: November 13, 2013, 05:24:53 AM
Fair enough. Just please keep in mind that since you are in some level of the DefaultTrust tiers, your ratings carry a lot more weight than the average users, and IMHO I don't think User705 intentionally set out to scam you.
1913  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User705 sold me a broken video card. on: November 13, 2013, 05:09:17 AM
No kidding, but look at his left feedback!

He has left more neg feedback than anyone I have ever seen!  And he is saying I am out of place! WOW

The difference is that I leave negative feedback based on certain criteria that are often indicative of a scammer -- you know, to maybe help prevent people from being scammed. You've left feedback based purely on retaliation and/or malice, and that's not what the Trust system is for.
1914  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User705 sold me a broken video card. on: November 13, 2013, 05:06:50 AM
Goat, don't be a douche. You can eat the cost of the card no problem with the coins that you have. If he was out to scam you, he would have taken payment and not sent you anything. What you could do is drop negative Trust with one of your alt accounts so it doesn't affect the color of his score at least.

I didn't know that your wealth dictates when you can and can't call out someone, on a bad trade. WOW

You don't know the circumstances behind that statement, so let's just agree that you didn't know. For all the Goat knows, the GPU could have been functioning fine in User705's system. I've had cards that mined flawlessly, but would artifact in MW3, but then work perfectly in CounterStrike. How much testing does one expect the seller to do? Within the context of where you're sourcing a used GPU from, it's reasonable to assume that a GPU could be called "good" if it mines, and if it plays games too, awesome.

And again, if User705 was out to scam, he would have sent a box of rocks or maybe nothing at all.

I thought you were going to remove your neg trust on AW?

If you insist on collateral at least accept more ways of providing it/more coins.

I don't really have the time or interest to download 50 million different alt coin clients.

1919  Economy / Lending / Re: 5btc loan needed for bills and car repair on: November 13, 2013, 04:16:55 AM
It seems people have misunderstood what loans are for. It is not for re-investing.... that is what scammers do. Often they end up in more debt then they started with. And never end up paying anything back.

Since my car is what helps me make income, it makes sense to get a loan to repair it to continue to make more money.

It seems most of the people replying and flagging me are scammers.  Even if they have positive rep. Undecided

I still need this loan.

You supposedly had trouble repaying a .15 loan. There's no way you're repaying a 5 BTC loan.

Explain to me how Coinbase works. How does them canceling a transaction benefit them?
