Artificial scarcity of coins in addition to artificial scarcity of blockspace is just too much scarcity for me, so i'm gonna make myself scarce but I gotta cash out first.
Too much talk, not enough action. Sell your coins and MTFO. billyjoeallen and i usually agree, and this is no exception, I too will get out if block limit isn't addressed and fees rise. luckily it won't come to that... but if it does, and for some ODD reason devs decide to never touch the block limit, i think i'd be lucky to get >200$ a coin. not fixing this is basically declaring that bitcoin can NOT be "the future of money", and inviting everyone to produce a crypto that can. Kind of weird that I'm kinda hoping for a purely speculative bubble, rather than real adoption. The line between BTC and a ponzi/pyramid is getting blurry as long as this thing doesn't scale. At least core devs seem to agree that scaling needs to be addressed. It wasn't a given. Is the Jeff Garzik BIP still on the table? Which one? BIP100, BIP102 or BIP202? Edit: I think the answer is "no" anyway. Jeff is kind of a dialogue fetishist, but all he has managed to do is make both sides agree that BIP100, BIP102 and BIP202 are the wrong approaches.

What would happen if Gavin just up and locked everybody out of the repo? From Reddit: Peter's idea is not to replace Core with a different team in the repo, it's to nuke the repo so that ALL teams have to post their offerings in new repos that don't have the privileged position of being historically connected to Satoshi - a privileged position that Core now enjoys. Is that Peter Todd? I consider him the most dangerous man to Bitcoin's future but that might not be a bad idea. If it didn't come from him and Theymos wasn't holding the keys to the gateways to Bitcoin information. Monkey vision: Drop towards 390 support intraday, rising trend to continue thereafter on a daily basis, and over the weekend.
You know this is wrong Monkey now sees at least one week downtrend, 362 support. The wrong bit was you keeping that monkey in a cage forcing it to watch Bitccoin charts.

Didn't see Gavin's name on that list. I'm just glad to see BtcDrak on the list. The Viacoin guy is essential. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) I didn't see lambie though.

Well, I never really wanted to buy coffee with bitcoins anyway. I don't even drink coffee.
Is this relevant?
Pepsi or Coca Cola? Edit: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fci.memecdn.com%2F504%2F3708504.jpg&t=663&c=fewEpExpX4sQiw) We're fucked

The dev mailing list and the chart right now, like cookies and milk.
Any change that is "controversial" can not happen, so... (the totally uncontroversial) 1MB4EVA it is!
What was Gavin thinking when he gave these ninnies commit? YEEEFRREEEBOUUUUUSSS!!!

Looks like the influx of market buys stopped, so it's just in this really slow freefall. Bears will get behind every $1 of this drop to 'confirm' downtrend after downtrend until one day there is just this violent correction all the way back to the upside. Very risky game.
It would be quite natural to have a slow trickle down into the new year. And it would paint a pretty convincing cup and handle, with the cup being from nov.4 to mid december. Disclaimer: I have no idea what I'm talking about.

So I just made $500 playing holdem, again. Anyone have a better story?
Not lately. But I was hit by lightning once.

we're America we should have both privacy AND national security. .... can't the government just do their damn jobs and stop blaming their messed up shit on the people wanting privacy and freedom? If you give the intelligence and security sector power, they'll take it. They are remarkably narrow-minded.
