how does it make sense if you're only platinum level and you're willing to coach diamond players?

i'm masters level with all races, and if were to coach, i would charge less than 0.5btc :p
I know more then platinum level more like low-mid diamond it's just that i don't have the multitasking to play as good as a diamond player yet xD Well time is money friend therefor i charge 0,5 BtC which is currently 3 USD which is not that much at all for a hour of my time Smiley
1902  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: What pool do you use? on: September 11, 2011, 07:22:52 PM
Currently using bitcoin.lc and bitminter.com, both are pretty awesome pools and i especially like bitminter with their own miner as well as the statistic interface Smiley

Mmmh.

That basically means that if the pool decides to cheat
you, you now have absolutely no way of knowing (since
they also control the client). Fishy.

Yeah be careful here...

Yea that is ofc true, the program is not open source so they might be doing fishy stuff but so far i have been happy with the amount i have been getting from their pool, ofc i would probably be unaware if they did remove a couple of shares here and there but i doubt they would do that

Client is not even open source Huh
Boy, you are one trusting fellow.

Yea i guess i am xD

I did some testing regarding the stales, with GUIminer and this pool i got about 2 rejected stales out of 400 while with the Bitminter i got 60 rejected on 400. Though saying that i do get a higher mhash using your program then the GUIminer.

For those interested me and my clan are playing a clan war tonight at 19:00 gmt, tune in at twitch.tv/Deadgaming
For those that watched i want to apologize for the bad overall quality of the stream, first of all i sat for 4 hour and casted before i realized my mic was not getting picked up by my recording program xD so it ended up with two other clan members casting. The video quality was also quite bad due to that my internet didn't feel like cooperating so had to lower the quality to reduce the lag. I hope you still enjoyed it though and had a good time i know i did even though we lost 4-5 in matchups.

Lol seems interesting, I might actually begin playing SC, it looks kinda fun, lol.
I really do recommend Starcraft 2, it's a game that fits most people because there are several different aspects of the game just like wc3. If you want to get some starter knowledge i would recommend going to the http://day9tv.blip.tv/posts?view=archive&nsfw=dc , Day9 is one of the biggest and best according to me at doing Starcraft videos and tutorials. For the tutorials search for daily Tuesday and for the more fun jerk around videos search for daily Monday.  Have you decided what race you want to play if you begin playing?

Hello!

I will Coach you for 1 hours in the game Starcraft 2 for only 0.5 BTC. I am a high platinum zerg (Eu) and I am capable of coaching bronze-diamond zerg as well as bronze-silver protoss and terran. I do coaching sessions based on what you need to learn and what you need to improve on. So no single training session is the same, If your interested either send me a pm here or email me.

To get started i need 2-5 replays of you playing preferably on ladder (custom games against friends is okay but not the best) and playing the matchup you want to be coached in. Having skype or ventrilo makes the coaching more efficient so i recommend getting either of these program before we start coaching Smiley Already have a ventrilo server that can be used during the coaching session.

Special offer: for the first 5 players that book a coaching session with me will get 2x the hours they book, so if you book 2 hours you will get 4 ours etc.

I got 241 accepted shares and 13 rejected which is a improvement from before, i got about 10% rejected shares before and now it's about 5%. If you compare this to when i use GUIminer and another pool were i got 3600 accepted and 0 rejected shares.

I tend to get a lot of rejected shares when using you program/server, even when i take my overclock down to fabric overclock. I have also tried my original overclock with guiminer and then i don't get any stales at all.

Could you try it again now? I just released a new version of the miner that should hopefully work better for you. Also some changes recently on the server-side should reduce stales a bit.

Okay i will give it a try and let it stand and work for a while and report back the numbers i get.
