Read an interesting article on NewsBTC this morning which covers the topic.

Will Trump’s Presidency Spell Good News for Bitcoin?
The election of Donald Trump as the next president of the United States has evoked few mixed feelings among the population, but will he be good for Bitcoin? Will Bitcoin emerge as a winner in the United States following the election of Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States? A significant number of US residents are not happy with the outcome of the recent elections which has created an uncertainty in the market, in turn, reducing the confidence among traders and investors. However, Bitcoin has emerged as a winner in this scenario.
Full article

Really? Bitcoin hasn't been below $700 in a while and now it's $688. I think Bitcoin is tied to the US dollar and will track its confidence pretty closely.

Btw, why don't liberacunts move to Canada but not Mexico? Is there something wrong with the Mexicans? I heard they are nice and friendly. Fucking racists.

Mexico is not a very friendly place for being an immigrant. Drug cartels like the Los Zetas and Los Caballeros Templarios are currently holding tens of thousands of illegal Latin American immigrants as slaves. I assume that a large number of American Libertards will end up in this situation, if they attempt to immigrate to Mexico.

I didn't know that. We should definitely start an advertising campaign convincing them to run away to Mexico. LOL
1903  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Hillary Clinton Trustworthy? on: November 13, 2016, 01:50:54 PM
So I guess murrica agrees with us. Hitlery Cunton isn't trustworthy.

PS: All you brown and black people have one week to leave before whitie rounds you up and lights up the gas chambers. ROFL

Yeah... 88% of the blacks voted for the most rabid warmonger in the world, and mainstream media thinks that it is quite normal. On the other hand, after 65% of the blue collar white males voted for Trump, the liberal journalists are demonizing the group by calling them xenophobes and racists. The MSM has lost all its credibility.

Yep, it's illogical and insane. In this case, the electoral college did exactly what it was designed to do (save the ignorant masses from their own destruction).

Wouldn't it be funny if Trump ended up being a great president and peace maker going on to win a second term in office? LOL

Franklin D. Roosevelt was considered to be too weak and sick to be president. Always sickly and weak, he was the fifth cousin to his wife Eleanor. He was a skirt chaser having multiple extramarital affairs. One affair with Lucy Mercer Rutherfurd lasted almost as long as his marriage. He also had a 20-year affair with his private secretary Marguerite "Missy" LeHand and while president it was believed he had a sexual relationship with Princess Märtha of Sweden whom his son used to call "daddy's girlfriend". He was rumored to be a horrible racist believing emancipation of slaves was a mistake, which at that time was no big deal. He was elected to an unpresidented four terms as president eventually dying in office. He is responsible for taking America out of the Great Depression and winning WWII. Many people would argue that he was the greatest president that will ever be elected to office.
He was also a horrible person, a horrible husband and a racist misogynistic megalomaniac.

Trump could end up being a great president.

>The University of Michigan offered its traumatized students coloring books and Play-Doh to calm them. (Are its students in college or kindergarten?)

>The University of Kansas reminded its stressed-out kids that therapy dogs, a regular campus feature, were available.

>Cornell University, an Ivy League school, held a campus-wide “cry-in,” with officials handing out tissues and hot chocolate.

>Tufts University offered its devastated students arts and crafts sessions. (OK, not kindergarten — more like summer camp.)

>At campuses from elite Yale to Connecticut to Iowa and beyond, professors canceled classes and/or exams — either because students asked or because instructors were too distraught to teach.

Epic win.

The so called "educated"...

As with many young people in a country where a university eduction is available to all, they are educated beyond their intelligence.
1905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2016, 02:11:44 PM
Trump is pro America. This means that he wants freedom for everyone to do business.

Bitcoin is about freer business. This means that Trump will like the idea of Bitcoin expanding.

Trump also wants to uphold all of America, including her promises to people like retirees (who paid in to Social Security, and are living off the SS payments they worked for all their lives), and to people like veterans (who gave their lives and service for America). Trump will want to get welfare people off the roles if they really don't deserve the welfare.

Bitcoin, as it now exists, can mess up the American financial system so that America can't pay her dues to those to whom she owes. So, because Bitcoin is a rather free stumbling block against the thing the banks and fiat have become, you can expect that Trump will start a method for making Bitcoin an official way for America to remain in financial strength.

It won't be easy. The banking Ponzi has been built over a period of more than 100 years. It might take longer than Trump's two-term tenure to get things straightened out again. Remember, if he goes for 2 terms, he'll be into his 90s.

Overall, I expect that if someone doesn't crack the encryption of the blockchain, that the near future outlook will be good for Bitcoin. In addition, there is a good chance that Bitcoin could become the money of America and the world. If this happens, even the satoshi will need to be divided, and those who have even ONE bitcoin will be very well to do in the future.

Cool

Well, that's an interesting viewpoint. I would have figured you as more of a "one world money leads to the antichrist and end of days" kind of person. Did Jesus tell you that in a dream or did you make that shit up on your own?
1906  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump statement on banning Muslims has disappeared from his website on: November 12, 2016, 06:49:11 AM
A politician lied to get elected? I'm shocked! ROFL

I suppose I can't even look forward to the building of a 1,989 mile long wall between the US and Mexico.

So are we that far thst we believe that lying is normal and that it is fine especially for the leaders of our nations?

If that is the case our society is doomed anyway no real need of a crazy president trump.

Nah, lying for politicians is like breathing for the rest of us. I don't think I'd trust a president that didn't lie.

Would you have expected president Bill Clinton to get on TV and say, "yep, I fucked Monica Lewinsky right up the ass in the Oval Office. Came all over her face too!"

How about president Kennedy addressing the public when questioned about Marilyn Monroe, "come on people, of course I tapped that sweet ass, wouldn't you?"

People lie and need to be lied to. No one wants to hear the truth and wouldn't elect a truth teller as president.

Trump would have lost if he campaigned by saying, "I'd love to build a wall but it's really not practical, it costs too much and would take about 20 years to complete. I'd love to kick all the muslems out of the country but really can't do it. I act like a tough dominating sexist toward women but really I'm an emasculated wimp around my wife or she'll stop giving me pussy, divorce me and take half my money".

We are approaching the crux of the story.

Who is at fault that our world is going down the toilet?

The lying politicians or the society that accepts them as their leaders?

People must be lied to and they demand it most of the time. The fat person doesn't want to be told they look fat. The idiot doesn't want to be called dumb. The cancer patient doesn't want to be told there's no hope for them. The electorate doesn't want to be told their pet issue can't be solved without crushing the pet issue of another person.

To get elected politicians need to be all things to all people and that's simply not possible. Someone must be lied to and must be left out of the decisions. A candidate can't be pro-life and pro-choice at the same time even if you need the vote from both sides to get elected. Political campaign advisors carefully craft a system of beliefs for their boss that garners the largest possible number of supporters. Only after a politician is elected will you really know where they stand on all issues.

Most presidents have "the big three" and will attempt to keep those few issues as close to their campaign promises as possible. With Obama it was healthcare, education reform and consumer protections. Obama promised about 15-20 things that were completely impossible to accomplish and we all knew it but we loved the empty promises.

Oh, everyone knows what their doing Masha Sha. Peaceful protesters chant, sing songs, hold up signs and generally have a different feel/demeanor about them.

These protesters are violently tearing shit up, destroying property and rioting. That's not protesting, it's more like what happens in Oakland after the raiders lose a game. It's destruction for entertainment value.
What is the real reason for these protest ,what they were doing when the elections was on full swing and now they wanted to destroy property and cause problems but really surprised to hear that Trump won even though all the predictions were against Trump

Many who surprised victory Trump. But the fact remains. It is hoped that he will be a wise president. Protests are already useless. We must accept this reality

sadly there are not going to accept it lightly.

http://nypost.com/2016/11/09/the-one-scenario-that-could-still-get-hillary-into-the-white-house/

they want to by-pass the system and get her elected illegally

Now that would be interesting to see. One more nail in the coffin of the US government system. Also, you would have the side benefit of watching Hitlery take us to war with Russia, drone strike a bunch of people and be the worst president in history. It's a win-win. LOL

Haha too much Trump Memes everywhere people are making pictures of trump fun and i love it reading some good memes and they really hate trump i don't know why trump is a good leader and if they wishing that trump will fail its like wishing a pilot to crush a plane.
Indeed. We can't do anything about it as it is clear that trump won fairly. It won't do anyone any good if trump is to fail so i think it's time to move forward. Trump is a businessman so he thinks before he acts and i think it's going to be a different trump that we'll see compared to the trump during campaign period

It's not about his winning the election or whether it was fair or even if moving forward it the right thing to do. It's just a shitload of fun baseballing batting the windows out of cars and firebombing the shit out of streets with Molotov cocktails. These kids need something fun to relieve their stress before they go back to college to study for fall term finals. LOL

Now come on, seriously, doesn't this look like fun? Wouldn't you like to try it if you thought you could get away in the crowd?

1911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2016, 03:22:24 PM
For all of you that seem confused, taxes are only on purchases and income. In that respect, bitcoin is already taxed in so much as it can be used to pay for someone's labor or purchase goods and services. The POTUS can't implement a tax on something because that item is "just hanging around".

Well as far as I know, when you convert your BTC to fiat, you will pay a tax due the increment of your capital... or at least that's the case in some countries. It sucks because like you said you already pay taxes when buying stuff, but there's another tax, the one I mentioned, when you increase your capital. That's why it would be ideal to work for BTC and buy with BTC, but if you want to buy a car or a house, you will need to pay taxes anyway since you can't hide that from the government.

I know there are some countries that have special "flat taxes" like the APT tax in Buenos Aires and the Spahn tax in Belgium. Those are different from the usual taxes Americans pay. They are also a form of transaction tax which requires a transaction to initiate the tax just as a purchase does in the USA.

The discussion was about Donald Trump's ability to tax the hell out of Bitcoin. Of course, as you know, Trump has no control over the taxation policies of other countries. In America, Bitcoin is already taxed when it's used for the purchase of goods and services or paying income. Trump does not need to take any action for Bitcoin to be taxed.

Bitcoin is a tiny payment system. Do you think the POTUS has the time to worry about AmazonPayments, PayPal, Bitcoin or ApplePay? What exactly do you think the President of The United States does for a living? I seriously doubt even his advisors will waste his time by mentioning Bitcoin (that is if THEY even know what it is).
1918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Im not sure how bitcoin fees will be sustainable long-term. on: November 11, 2016, 05:07:55 AM
Theoretically, if Bitcoin becomes widely used and survives that long, small percentages of a Bitcoin will be the commonly used denomination. mBTC and μBTC will be used like whole bitcoins are today. It will be very uncommon for anyone, except wealthy individuals, to hold a whole Bitcoin. The price of a single Bitcoin will be incredibly high. In all likelihood, businesses that rely on Bitcoin will take over mining. Most of these businesses will either mine Bitcoin to supplement their income or mine it simply to keep their primary business alive. This would still be a decentralized system where no single company would be trusted to keep the entire network alive. Chain pruning and other efficiencies developed over time will improve the size of the stored database.

You and I will never need to worry about this though because we'll be dead.
1919  Other / Politics & Society / Re: TRUMP WINS on: November 10, 2016, 02:44:10 PM
Californians are fucking retarded. Right, seceed from a powerful union with no guns. You don't believe in the 2nd amendment, so don't reneg now that you need it. Liberals getting violent in protests. Yanking people from cars, shooting people. Real smart. Meanwhile, the rest of the country is working normally.

Yep, we're the land of fruits and nuts. I've lived in Norcal for 35 years and always been amazed at how completely crazy the people are. Nothing they do seems to make any sense.

San Francisco is ground zero for gay rights but was the only place that voted against gay marriage.

They protest in favor of freedom and democracy at every turn but vote against gun owner rights at every opportunity.

There are more GMO crop protests in California than any other state but they grow more GMO crops than any other state.

They are holding some of the biggest protests to protect Dakota Indian land water from pollution but have some of the most polluted aquifers in the nation.

I think everyone in California is stoned most of the time.

It's a beautiful place don't get me wrong. The people when I've been out there are just beyond comfortable. Meanwhile, since I bought a big chunk of property in the south, all these Trump supporters are actually really normal, everyday working people. Super friendly neighbors that would come over to your house and try to give you what you don't have even if they don't have much.

I make fun of the heartland all the time because it's just so easy. But the reality is, there's a bunch of average people there that would give you the shirt off their backs to help you if you were in need. They aren't the most politically correct folks in the world or the best informed but they're not crazy.

That's what worries me for the future of Bitcoin. Bitcoiners made a lot of mistakes early on due to naiveté (myself included) and what needs to happen now is repairing the trust of those middle Americans so they can see Bitcoin for what it really is instead of what CNN protrayed it to be. That's why I challenge everyone in every post. I want a devils advocate to present another viewpoint so people can realize what non bitcoiners see when they look at Bitcoin for the first time. Besides, this forum has enough cheerleaders.
1920  Other / Politics & Society / Re: TRUMP WINS on: November 10, 2016, 02:34:59 PM

What was in those cheerios we fed our kids in the 80s and 90s? LSD? It seems to have made them retarded.

When the CIA contaminated bread in a French village with it... who knows... dumbing us down, degrading health... all part of the agenda of tptb.

In short if you put lifetoxin against parasites (life too) it moves down stream... have you seen autism rate?

Wouldn't surprise me at all. Here's the inside personality of the person they are protesting to be president.

"According to True Pundit, Clinton and the state department were under pressure to silence Assange and Wikileaks in the months before the whistleblowing site released a massive dump of 250,000 diplomatic cables from 1966 up to 2010, dubbed CableGate.

“Can’t we just drone this guy?” Clinton asked, according to unidentified state department sources."

Yeah, that's a good plan. Anytime you don't like someone you should drone strike them. Fuck democracy and due process, let's just kill them. ROFL
