1901  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk makes offer to buy Twitter on: April 28, 2022, 12:28:42 PM
Everything has a price, it seems the board of Twitter can't resist Elon Musk's offer that is so high. Hopefully Elon Musk keeps his promise that after buying Twitter he will give freedom of speech to all users. So all of us as Twitter users are not afraid of getting banned and warned if we express sensitive opinions that many people don't like. Because I was already annoyed using Facebook which began to limit my opinion on certain things. Another positive thing is that Elon Musk will use Twitter to promote cryptocurrency, so I expect more and more people to join the crypto industry. In order to make the price of Bitcoin go up again, because I believe buying Twitter has something to do with cryptocurrencies too.
I'm quite curious to see the big changes Twitter when Elon Musk is officially the owner of Twitter, because we know Elon Musk's style is usually quite aggressive in making changes.
Not all actually. There are stuffs that are priceless and there will always be a reason on why you won't sell the thing even if you are being offered by millions or billions of cash. It can be that it has a sentimental value to you or anything else.

In the case of twitter, I think they don't value it, they don't really value their company because why would they sell it? Or maybe they think they are getting old already and have no time to manage the company very well and there are also problems that a company might face. They don't want to deal with that anymore but they come to the point that they want to retire, relax and enjoy the fruits of their hardworks.
1902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT or BNB? on: April 28, 2022, 10:28:58 AM
I think bnb to usdt is better because the price of usdt does not increase or decrease again it is seen that bnb price is decreasing this is increasing this is ricks I think usdt is better
Yeah, if I am just someone who is investing in the market with the intentions of holding the coins for a long a time, then USDT is the least thing that I am going to consider, because it doesn’t increase in value (doesn’t fluctuate) since it pegged to the US Dollar and would always maintain a value that is same or very close to US Dollar. But as a trader, you would usually see the need for USDT as it’s going to help you save value at times when the market is bad, you can just switch to USDT and save value while the market drops.
1903  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some Errors We Make In Trading Crypto on: April 28, 2022, 06:49:51 AM
Making use of exchanges that has high transaction and withdrawal fees can really be frustrating for someone who is a trader. You manage to make profit from trading and the next thing you are losing a huge part of the profit you have made because of the fees you would have to pay on the exchange for withdrawal and transactions.

So, it’s really important that we choose exchanges with the possible lowest fees so that we wouldn't have to be paying all that much and losing a big chunk of our profit that was made trading on the platform.
But you need to consider the reputation of the exchange itself. Not only look for lowest possible fees but the liquidity itself. Yes, there are exchanges that are charging cheaper fees. But do you think you can execute your orders according to your targets? Because some problem with exchanges is the liquidity, the gap of buy/sell order, also look at the trading fees as well. Better secure your assets by using reliable exchanges rather than look for cheaper fees and you are in doubt if you can ever get out your funds safe.
Paying that extra fee is better than to lose all what you made because the exchange is scam. Yes safety must come first not the fee. There are exchanges that use that excuse because they know that there are bargain traders that is after them.

I think there are legit and famous exchange that has a less fee. The goal to save fee is to trade only on bigger amounts if that's possible and trade only assets that are surely profitable. In case of withdrawals, you might need to save them all first and don't do frequent withdraws so that you will only pay less. There's so many things or hacks that we can do to save when doing crypto trades.
1904  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin losing its purpose? on: April 28, 2022, 05:09:07 AM
I myself have not been able to find the specific biggest purpose of bitcoin. But in my opinion bitcoin has exceeded its initial goal in other words it has achieved its main goal even more than that. If so, I'm sure the main creators are also targeting a new goal to get bitcoin even more in demand. Yes, although it is still a mystery who the person behind all this is, but I really enjoy this.
Why you don't know? Didn't you own any bitcoins? But if you own some, you will know if what is its purpose. For others btc for them is an asset while for the rest, bitcoin can be both a currency and an asset. Bitcoin's specific purpose is for the people to have a money that they can use online that is decentralized and anonymous.

You're right, btc has exceeded its goal because who would have thought that it will also work better in terms of an asset? But what could that new goal be? Are there any other use for btc aside from being an asset and a currency? I can't think of anything right now but if we have goals that we want for bitcoin to achieve, that is its price. We want 100k per btc
1905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: October and December are the months of Crypto ??? on: April 28, 2022, 04:38:05 AM
i also believe in that mate, because I believe that there are some predictions that hates to believe the dumping season but it is true to come .
what I also believe is that the prices will remain this label but there are chances that the growth will come in the end of the year.
so mostly November/December is the bullying season as what we have seen many years ago, that it is the last quarter that Booms the market.
Not that they totally hate it but they are only trying to be positive because we haven't seen the pump for almost a long time now. Pumps and dumps are a normal thing in the market. Both of them can occur but there is no exact date or time if when so it's important to be ready and plan ahead if what you want is to sell or buy once one of them came. We have the same impression in regards with the market.

In these couple months, price could remain stable but the main event may come when the ber months starts. Ber months can be a confusing months if we don't stick on the common patterns that we witness on the past.
1906  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 27, 2022, 08:06:03 PM
Miami Heat have ended the series by 4-1. They won the last game of the series by 97-94 last night and finished the job. They are really unstoppable now but we will see what they will do in next stages. The winner of the Philadelphia 76ers - Toronto Raptors series is going to have a matchup against Heat. 76ers are 3-2 ahead in the series now and I think that they will be advancing to next round. By the way, the Grizzlies - Timberwolves series is going on great also. Grizzlies have got 3-2 ahead by winning last night, 111-109.
Heat played more than I even anticipated, assumed it would have been an easy sweep to be fair. Hawks played during the play-in and looked like they weren't that great neither, and they ended barely in the playoff spots. Heat on the other hand finished first in the eastern conference, better than Celtics which swept Nets which was a better team for sure.

In any case, they will have a few days rest before they will have to play the next opponent, the longer they wait the better rest they will have and easier time beating their next opponent which they will probably do. West looks a bit more chaotic compared to east, like how Suns are 3-2 right now and warriors may end it soon.
1907  Economy / Speculation / Re: New year new speculation on: April 27, 2022, 06:00:31 PM
Initially I was optimistic that 2022 could be better than the close of 2021, unfortunately FUDs are getting massive which makes many investors sell and now we have to be patient again, of course when the price of $50k or $60k is a good opportunity to sell but I'm still optimistic that next year 2022 could surpass 2021's record.
2022 could still be great, we have no idea how it’s going to be. I personally believe that we should be doing better soon, we are just getting into May, that’s 5th month of the year, that means 4 months are over and we still have like double that amount. If you believe that we are going to end up with just this price until the rest of the year then I can understand the pessimism, however I do not believe that.

Just because we had 4 months of ups and downs and mostly not going back to ATH prices, doesn't mean that we can't have like 50k+ reached in this year neither. We could definitely get there and I believe that in the next 8 months until 31th of December, eventually it will break over 50k for sure.
1908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Price of Litecoin 2022? on: April 26, 2022, 06:34:45 PM
Which price of a Litecoin is possible in 2022? What do you expect as alltime-high and price in end of 2022?
I am not sure how people got drawn to Litecoin at all. It's not offering nothing new and it main goal seems to be some sort alternative to btc. Even the main dev saw it as over valued and sold everything long time ago. There are so many new interesting solutions these days that are not focusing only for micro payments or normal payments.
It is old and it is trusted and it is reliable. That is why people still buy ltc, I did, and I would again. Not because it provides anything awesome or not because it is a brand new technology nor it is not even exciting neither. But it has been here for 5+ years, can't remember the first time I saw it but it started in 2011, that means around 11 years ago give or take.

If a project has been around for 11 years and it hasn't scammed anyone out of anything then I would trust it. Look around you, there are projects who aim at stealing something from people and making the creators rich all around you, and yet you do not know why people would prefer LTC over them?
1909  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The trend is your friend if you know how to identify it)) on: April 26, 2022, 04:39:55 PM
Trend is not always fixed. You can say that since bitcoin is going up, after 10mins it is also going to go up - changes can occur suddenly. But the time factor is important here. If you are going for the long term, like I said, you can profit from the trend by knowing when to buy and sell.
If you are aware of the trend, like if it is going up or down, as soon as it starts to happen, then you could definitely make some money. The small moves of crypto is common, so if you think that it is going down, and catch it right it drops 0.1% or something, then get out at 3% drop, then you could make profit, same thing when it is going up. Doesn't mean that it would have to be very well designed, it could be a bit different and difficult but at the end of the day we are going to see the momentum change so you will have to catch that quickly. I am not saying that you can't, but it is not that simple and it will require a lot of talent.
1910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto wealth can only be built in bear market on: April 26, 2022, 02:03:45 PM
Wealth is created during the bear market not in bull market, the question now is are we still in bull market or bear market? We can't expect crypto market to crash instantly if bear is going to happen it will be a gradual process so what is your take on this? Should newbies wait or buy coins right now?
We are already in the bearish trend. There is no way that you would be able to tell the lowest that the market would go, so the best thing is to just buy whenever you have the money to invest in the market. If you keep on waiting for when the market would drop to its lowest before you start up your investment, then you are just going to end up missing out because there is no one that knows such.

The market just keeps going up and down, and sometimes it is at 40K, and sometimes it is less or above that. So, you can’t really tell, the only thing you can do is to just start your investment now if you have the money.
1911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SOLANA GO TO...? on: April 26, 2022, 11:45:01 AM
Solana team is continuously creating Innovation for the incoming and old users mate, I am one of those who keeps my SOL in pocket because I know that there are big chance for this Ethereum replacing coin to make if to the top, I mean not just rank 6-10 but 1-5 . in which for me? is attainable any time soon.
Solana will be much better if the Ethereum 2.0 will  still be pending to release in this near future.
SOL team is creating it, that is the key point. You think that people would love to invest into something that is created by a team? I mean it is not that bad, it is definitely something I wouldn't mind doing neither, but at the end of the day we are talking about a situation where only a team is at the top of it and that is centralization.

If my money is tied with the hopes that there is a team that will work hard and provide a better future, then I will not risk it. How would I know that SOL team won't banish tomorrow and never heard of again? Not that it hasn't happened before in crypto world, so it could happen again as well, I won't risk it.
1912  Economy / Economics / Re: Im ready to adond all banks and my friends also dont need banks anymore on: April 25, 2022, 04:45:59 PM
Banks are still necessary because fiat still rules the whole market and in my country, crypto is still not a legal tender. I wonder how to live without banks, cryptocurrency is still unstable for now and this is why I still have bank accounts beside they work perfectly with the loans which crypto doesn’t have yet. You’re too brave, I hope you succeed on that, living without a bank.
The only place in the world I think anyone would be able to live fully on Bitcoin would be El Salvador, since Bitcoin has been declared a legal tender in their country. But, for other countries where it is not regarded as a legal tender, anyone who is making use of it is likely going to be having a problem with the government.

So, the possibility of this guy living on Bitcoin is completely zero. At some point he’s always going to be in need of a bank account and the services that they offer. I like Bitcoin, but I don’t think I would switch totally to it, I just prefer to keep things balanced and not rely fully on one thing.
1913  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive income : Bank interest vs staking on: April 25, 2022, 06:16:03 AM
One of the biggest or main hindrance or reason on why we do really hesitate on making out such option due to security or scam or hacking involvement on where we cant really assure on a years time there
wont really be those kind of probability which we would really be thinking off on our investment for that long.Yes, we could possibly earn more than on what we could earn in banks but the risk involved
would really be still high and if you could able to bare it out then go ahead but im sure that most people wont really be that seeing this thing to be appealing.
Indeed saving money in bank preserves our money for us. But the issue with keeping your money in the bank is that you are hardly getting anything. Staking can be more profitable and risky at the same time. You can make good profit from staking your cryptocurrency, and even more as the true value of the asset you have staked continues to increase. But when that is not the case, it would be the opposite which is  a loss due to the true value of the asset you are holding decreasing.

But, majority of the people would always prefer to stake their money than just leaving it in the bank and making nothing. Although as usual you will always need to have some part of it saved in the Bank, while another part can go for staking or whatever you choose.
1914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's your take of NFTs? on: April 24, 2022, 09:59:10 PM
What's your take of NFTs?

Do you think are a long term solution/investment or just hype??
NFT is good, but sadly the industry nft relies on hype. unlike the crypto market which is based on utility and a strong ecosystem as its fundamentals. nft thrives on hype and speculation and that means it won't last forever. so nft is not suitable for investment. you can make a profit if you sell NFT, but you will not be able to make a profit if you invest in nft. this is an important rule in this industry. this is only profitable if you are a creator.
It is not just about hype that is the problem. Obviously with the lack of hype and with hype dying down it is going to be worse. However, the biggest problem is that there are too many scam projects, and people who want to make money.

NF shouldn't be some person hiring a designer, getting like 10k collection made with like maybe 3-4 different traits, and then hoping to get 200k+ dollars from releasing that. There are so many people who spend like 20-30 thousand dollars and release an NFT collection and make 200k that, everyone started doing it at some point. With the hype dying down I am sure that there will be less money involved and it will go to correct places.
1915  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some Errors We Make In Trading Crypto on: April 24, 2022, 09:47:44 PM
Going all in is something that a gambler mindset do really had on which its really a bad thing if you do really have this kind of act whenever you do deal with trading. If you do make yourself that impulsive
when it comes to your decisions then you would really be ending up on going all in and act that you are gambling out instead of doing trading.

You would only realize when its too late and there's no way you could able to retreive those losses back unless if you do make out some deposits again for some capital.
We know that mistakes are the best teachers but we should really be minimizing it as small as it should be.
I am not saying that you should stay away from going all-in, but that could be one of the worst things I would do, I wouldn't even consider such a thing. Obviously there are situations where you would have to go all-in with whatever you have left after already putting in so much, that is understandable, like let's say you had 10k, and invested 9.5k of it over course of 3 months, and then you invest the last 500 which would make sense.

But, that is a situation where you already invested, so it is not "technically" all-in, that's putting the leftover and different situation. I hope that people do not make this mistake of going all-in, but if they want to, I wouldn't stop them.
1916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Concern of illegal use of crypto on: April 24, 2022, 09:34:14 PM
That's bullshit. They can't accept the fact that cryptocurrency is revolutionary. Fiat money has been used in money laundering for all these years. They have been using for illegal deals. Now cryptocurrency is the problem? How funny does this sound!
They would always come up with whatever lame excuses to make sure that they carry out their plans. But this one is not really going to work. and why I’m happy about cryptocurrency is the fact that it is decentralized, that way the government can’t really do anything about it. If they really want to take any action, it is going to be only for centralized exchanges which operates with Fiat and are also being controlled by the government. And as for the issue of being used for money laundering and the rest of all that, people can do such things, but we still know that anyone who tries such can still be caught if the government are really out for it.
1917  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Does BTC growing faster?? on: April 23, 2022, 02:51:22 PM
This question is three in one and is very important. Bitcoin grow very fast because of it advertisement and it technology, the publicity alone make people to develop more interest for Bitcoin. Before people were doubting bitcoin and seems it as ponzi scheme and it is few people invest on bitcoins notice that it is currency of different form. And why other cryptocurrencies it seems to be not growing faster like bitcoin is because bitcoin gathered firm first before any of them and in the market bitcoin takes more advantages for holding for long term and still regain it value
The cool thing about the popularity of bitcoin is that, nobody did marketing for it. I mean we all did, we are the marketing of it, but nobody really paid marketing money to promote bitcoin itself so that they would earn money, satoshi didn't spend a dime on marketing after he created it.

People got in, and same people who got in ended up promoting bitcoin to everyone around them and that’s how they made their money. I do not think that you could beat word of mouth in marketing, if you could convince some people to promote you instead of you yourself promoting it, then you did something amazing. So much so that Satoshi even left, and we still ended up getting more people on bitcoin.
1918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 22, 2022, 08:16:06 PM
Finally Rajasthan Royals won the match by 15 runs. The winning credit goes to Prashid Krishna who bowled the 19th over taking a wicket without giving any runs. If 10 runs have come out of that over, then Delhi Capitals would've played with less pressure in the last over which could've helped Delhi Capitals win the match. Anyhow from the beginning to the last both the teams had the similar scoring pattern. The difference is much on the 19th over as well as on the fall of wickets.
Yes 19th over was the game changing over and Krishna did really well and managed to win the the match. Absolutely brilliant over from him. DC played also great but unfortunately they have lost the match and 19th over is the biggest cause for losing the match.
There is no doubt Krishna 19th maiden over was enough for this win but still currently top scorer for RR Buttler is having an amazing time in this season's IPL as he is currently leading the table with his 491 runs in 7 innings with the help of three centuries. Now with this win RR is at top of table as GT and RCB also having same points but GT is going through with one match in hand which can bring back them at top.

Delhi's batting line up also done good job specially at the end overs Rovman Powell hits few massive sixes but still not good enough for their team's win Pant has some concerns on no ball as he and Warner both done some talk with field empires, but they have no control on this all which is still some controversial, but it's all end.
1919  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 22, 2022, 05:51:23 PM
Probably the Arabs don't see it that way because certainly, they don't want to risk facing a humiliation like that again in my opinion. That's why they are not making the team with native players.
But, I don't understand the point of making a whole team with all the foreigners because it is not making their country proud in my opinion. I guess they are more interested in money rather than  Pride.
Here is no matter of humiliation because if they started from grassroots then surely they can be done some better job but here matter is just motivation and better finances for local players which is not available in cricket but having some good in other sports as many leagues are giving some good facilities for them.

Just start from schools and then settle things with domestic levels, and they can do these in very better way with the latest technology and better facilities which help them for better growth.

If players do some good practices then surely they can avoid this humiliation and perform very good on all levels practices makes perfect, it's simple rule in life and sports. In GCC youths are not bad enough just Kuwait was out of practice, and they face result like this otherwise they can perform better than this result.
1920  Economy / Economics / Re: What skills should I learn to get freelance work ..?? on: April 22, 2022, 01:41:34 PM
We are on a hightech era which mostly involved with videos and other social media stuffs which means that any thing that is related to it would really be a good thing for you to learn up specially video editing
skills which is a bit high on demand as of today. Its not easy but its not impossible thats why its not really that bad to consider on having these skills while still early but expect that there would be
competitions around which makes hiring to be more difficult.

Programming and development is one of the most demands too and lucky for those people who had graduated or studied this courses yet this era would really be putting themselves into advantage.
Every profession has its own competition but the competition for harder jobs like video editing and programming/developing can be less because they are hard to do then just a simple social media promotion and other jobs related to it. No wonder why social media campaigns or bounties are too crowded and their pay is also less due to the nature of the work but it's still helpful for those who are not skilful enough but still want to earn some income online.

Anyone can become a programmer or a developer even if they don't graduate on schools or universities that we see in real life because they can learn online and on today's era, it's skill that matters not diploma.
