19141  Economy / Speculation / Re: Huge BTC dump incoming on: February 18, 2015, 08:15:16 PM
volume isn't everything, volume was really high few weeks ago and the price was bad anyway
19142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crash is over for the day on: February 18, 2015, 04:55:27 PM
BTC IS FINISHED -

SELL NOW OR GET FUCKED !
why are you on this forum if you dont want to use bitcoin and want it to fail completely?

Couldn't agree more . If somebody doesn't want to use BTC then better go back to your fiat.

this the mentality that get everything to a niche market(i see it many time), we need more adoption, not less
19143  Economy / Speculation / Re: Great time to buy on: February 18, 2015, 01:07:07 PM
^
Protip:
Buying at the peak of a bubble is generally considered not so smart.  Though the topic is currently hotly debated by Bitcoin aficionados, buying high like a fucking idiot is still considered to be inferior to buying low by teh investment orthodoxy.

the point is that, you don't know what the peak is lol

you should always buy and hold, until you are confortable to sell, until the price suit your need
19144  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: free bits for newbies for cakeday on: February 18, 2015, 01:05:47 PM
those promotion should give much more really, all those early adopter with 10k-100k btc and then a giveaway of a few satoshi lol, just give 0.01 for 1000 user and make a good thing in your life...i would have done if I had been an early adopter, it would cost me nothing....
19145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt Miner on: February 18, 2015, 08:40:11 AM
or the a2 terminator(the old version was better by a long shot)

On this I would say it depends.  I personally would avoid first batch if buying (Unless shown proof of preformance).   The second batches seemed more actually lived up to spec.

yeah but the first batch, come with much lower power consumption

those machine are huge . Shocked  too much noise

you can try to modify the pin for the fan, or just buy a bigger fan with lower cfm, and noise of course
19146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: amd 7970 on: February 18, 2015, 08:39:13 AM
if electricity is high, sell it and buy a 750ti for mining is better, and it's very cheap

or just use it for gaming, because mining isn't profitable anymore
19147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Qubit Mining on: February 18, 2015, 08:38:10 AM
dunno about amd, but with a 750ti, i was getting 4+mega(no extreme oc)
19148  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help - bitcoin disappeared on: February 18, 2015, 08:36:16 AM
and why does anyone need a "wallet". It would be easier to copy and paste the bitcoin number/address to a notepad on my computer and be done with it.

you need it, for you private key, which is needed to retrieve your bitcoin,

i think multibit, isn't newbie friendly anymore, it should be avoided

new user should just dl the blockchain and sync bitcoin-core, i find it the best for starting
19149  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hiding wallet complexities for newbies on: February 18, 2015, 08:34:25 AM
use bitcoin core or multibit, they are very simple to use, the second is better for newbie as you don't need to sync the whole blockchain

I went with Electrum cause MultiBit (if i remember correctly) requires Java and Java has a lot of security issues. I got rid of Java years ago. I'm using Win7.

you can download the blockchain, and use core, for security use a pendrive, for cold storage, unless you want to sign offline transaction, eletrucm and armory aren't really needed
19150  Economy / Speculation / Re: Great time to buy on: February 18, 2015, 08:32:31 AM
wasn't always a great time to buy? even at peak it was, it could have gone even higher no one knew
19151  Economy / Speculation / Re: The true scarcity of a Bitcoin on: February 18, 2015, 08:29:12 AM
Tons are lost. 7K lost today in the BTER incident alone... plus all the early adopters that lost their wallets with thousands of coins.

he is talking about lost coin, not stolen, like the guy who did lost his hard drive with 10k(di don't remember now) inside

19152  Economy / Speculation / Re: Still holding?? on: February 18, 2015, 08:26:52 AM
of course, why i should dump now, if we have already passed the bottom, the only way is up now

i still think a big pump is coming, dunno when, but is coming, i'm waiting for it
19153  Economy / Economics / Re: USdollar lost 97% of it's value? on: February 18, 2015, 08:25:39 AM
dollars never had any value, was always a toilet paper, but you are forced to use it
19154  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New here on bitcointalk on: February 17, 2015, 05:11:49 PM
why from senior member only? you don't want help from hero and full member
19155  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hiding wallet complexities for newbies on: February 17, 2015, 05:08:28 PM
use bitcoin core or multibit, they are very simple to use, the second is better for newbie as you don't need to sync the whole blockchain
19156  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin Flopped on: February 17, 2015, 04:57:53 PM
flopped? still alive and  kicking, this is just the real bitcoin value, many can't accept it because they lose money, they was thinking that 1k was the price(lol), 250 is a good price if you compare it to the past, and not just at that damn 1200 peak....
19157  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC $1000 Poll! on: February 17, 2015, 04:56:29 PM
not only yes, but it will surpass it by miles, not know, you need to wait for that
19158  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your price ? on: February 17, 2015, 04:29:51 PM
10k is good enough for me
19159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Spring is coming on: February 17, 2015, 04:29:29 PM
no matter what it will eventually go up, the price is not right for the total amount of coins
19160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Still try to findout something worth to mine with CPU??? Try This!!! on: February 17, 2015, 04:23:01 PM
