New guy here.
About 2 weeks ago I purchased $50,000 of Bitcoin and Ethereum thru Coinbase.
It's all sitting in the Coinbase wallet with a 2 step verification to get access.
I just ordered a Trezor 1 cold wallet. Might take a few days to get here.
How safe is the Coinbase wallet for holding my stuff?
I've read that their site is actually very secure.

I would say that security is a relative concept. Of course, Coinbase probably has good protection, but as far as I've heard, it's best to have your own cold wallet and the fact that you ordered yourself Trezor speaks about it. I saw this coin pump in my blockfolio so I would like to ask what do you guys think about this coin. I have been holding this for years and I thought it has no chance anymore but suddenly it has a good value now. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/kick-token/ATH was 0.24 usd, now current price is only $0.0002595... do you think there's a chance it will break its ATH? Long time investor/holder of Gold coins, new investor of Bitcoin.
I've been thinking about selling some Gold to buy Bitcoin.
I'm listening to the pros/cons of doing this and Bitcoin seems like the better asset to hold in the long run.
So..
Anyone else here convert their Gold to Bitcoin?
Kinda having a hard time parting ways with my coins.
There's something to be said about touching Gold coins.
They're heavier than you think..
They have a nice ringing tone to them when tapped.
Fun to look at.. older ones have a history to tell.
Maybe I'm alone in this feeling.. 14+ years of collecting coins is hard to let go, but ultimately I got into it to have an insurance in case
of economic collapse and security.. also to make a profit.
Seems like Gold may be taken out by Bitcoin in a few short years.

Had a bunch of money in bitcoin last year. I told him not to do it, but he sold it ALL.....for EOS.....
He held EOS for like 6 months from july 2020 till roughly late February of 2021(EOS price has barely grown 100% in 6 months which is terrible for a shitcoin).
Bitcoin hit $57K, he thought it was the top. Sold ALL his shitcoin EOS when bitcoin hit 49K during a brief dump. He thought bitcoin was "old and slow". I told him it was still the undisputed,uncontested king.
Then he REALLY FUCKED UP and shorted bitcoin at $47K......
Don't be like him, sell shitcoins, HODL Bitcoin. Don't short bitcoin.

I see some crazy numbers being thrown around, one is an Ethereum coin going to 100k in 2030. How can you tell if a price prediction is too high in relation to market cap? Some people say some coins cannot hit a certain market cap. How can you tell if a market cap value is too much for a certain coin? I understand that there are coins where there are great number of circulating supply, but why can't they reach trillions in market cap?
