1921  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how often do you check BTC price and how to cope with stress? on: June 07, 2018, 01:10:56 PM
Trying to check prices 2-3 times a day,  especially in the morning.
But when i first gor into crypto, ive been checking the price 10 times per hour hoping for a quick growth
So if youre trying to get less stress, convince yourself, that its a long investment
10 times per hour is small compared to how often most newbies check theirs. I really do not bother with bitcoin price anymore except when I need to exchange it to fiat. That's when I check it countless times. Otherwise I only check it just only in the money through some apps before going out.
1922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin First Billionaire: Winklevoss Twins on: June 07, 2018, 12:05:34 PM
https://www.dmarge.com/2017/12/winklevoss-twins-bitcoin-billionaires.html

Who hold more Bitcoin, the Winklevoss twins or someone else?

News media around the world is reporting that the Winklevoss twins are the world first bitcoin billionaires, stating they own 100,000 bitcoins. Congratulations to them.

Does anyone know who the other bitcoin whales are?
Has it occurred to you that many bitcoin holders have been traced and beaten up in their homes after exposing how much coins they own. I do not think many people will want to expose themselves after hearing and seeing all this theft. Some may even split their coins into many wallets to avoid trace.
1923  Economy / Speculation / Re: Those who sold bitcoin are in for a big loss on: June 07, 2018, 10:56:43 AM
seems like every time we expect something to happen...the opposite happens.
if you are crypto enthusiast don't need care much about it just HODL
Yes, you are right. This is the case for some time now. When you begin to assume price will begin to go up, it suddenly falls back. The so many bad news out there make it difficult for bitcoin to go right up there where it has to be. Not a problem because I believe it will get there again soon.
1924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people treat BTC as ponzi scheme? on: June 07, 2018, 08:26:14 AM
I really wonder to some people who think bitcoin is a ponzi scheme. It has made so many people rich and doing better till now.
But I don't understand the reason behind this type of thought?

I think it’s because people have a hard time understanding how Bitcoin gets its value. It’s hard to grasp since it is not a tangible thing like gold and not backed by a government.

I like to compare Bitcoin to something like PayPal. PayPal is also not a tangible thing but it has a purpose and we are willing to pay for its services. The same is true for Western Union. The bottom line is that Bitcoin provides a service that gives it value.
You are correct perfectly. And again given to the evidence that something that was nothing has made so many poor and young people very rich overnight also explains the ponzi thought tied to bitcoin. We can't blame them for that thought. I was like that until I started thinking of bitcoin as gold rather than as a currency. But I know it is a currency.
1925  Economy / Speculation / Re: Maximum price that BTC can reach realistically on: June 06, 2018, 11:51:35 PM
Hi all, this is something that I have had numerous conversations about and one that not many can agree on. I am fascinated to hear your opinions on...

  • How high can the value of BTC reach at its peak? (and maybe a quick summary why)
  • When is that likely to happen in your honest opinion?

I respect everyone's opinion as i am sure it will differ drastically.

I want for it to hit $40,000 before the end of August. That is a good point to make me have a great birthday celebration. But whether that will happen is another thing. Our worry and speculation of bitcoin will not do it any good. It can only worsen our health. I do not want to have bad health and HBP.
1926  Other / Meta / Re: Bounty article deleted what is the reason on: June 06, 2018, 08:43:07 AM
2) in case of broken rules wont the forum inform me about it ?
Am not sure the forum dos that anymore. It used to be in the past buy now It will only appear as, "deleted or off topic" once the post is removed and you try to view it.

finally got it  it is not the forum but the bounty managers that are being asses. the same article has also been removed from other websites and i just checked other participants who had english articles there articles are also removed only the moderator can throw light on this issue now ...if any one know the mod do ask and let me know
To get that moderator, look up your profile and slightly below where the avatier should be and there you will see the name of that moderator. For this thread here, it is "mprep"
1927  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADE AGAINST THE TREND on: June 06, 2018, 04:29:11 AM
This is going to be helpful, no doubt about that. Hut how can we do some of the things you say we should do when we don't even know how to identify them? Example how do we identify good coins? It us not easy to say it. But you can help us here.
1928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will become the first world currency for buy and sell ? on: June 06, 2018, 01:34:07 AM
Do you think Bitcoin will become the first world currency for buy and sell ?  Grin
Bitcoin will in future be used as a currency for the purchase and sale of goods and services. However, it is difficult to say that this will be the main currency. Prevents this use of too much volatility bitcoin. Individuals will use bitcoin as mutual settlements, but how will legal entities and especially at the international level come to show experience and practice.
You say in the future but are we not using it already as means for payment? That means we have the future now I will say. I begin to think that the so much talk and media concentration around bitcoin is making it look bigger than it is. If not how can we begin to think of 9years old bitcoin leading others in the world. Gold and silver are there.
1929  Economy / Economics / Re: Is President Trump good or bad for the economy? on: June 04, 2018, 09:45:56 PM
Donald Trump is first a  businessman before a president. Barack Obama was more of a lawyer than a president. I expect Trump to perform better than Obama on the economy, Trump has the right to brag if the economy is better and also receive the blame if it not.
1930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How we can stop scam ICOs lanching? on: June 04, 2018, 04:22:24 AM
To do evil is human nature and can not be stopped. Scam is evil and can not be stopped also. No matter how hard we try to warn people about this scams the greedy ones will fall for it because of the easy profit they think they get out there. And the scammers have a way of always changing their tactics.
1931  Other / Meta / Re: Merit issue on: June 04, 2018, 04:01:26 AM
it can happen but if caught then you will get into trouble.
actually if Jr.Member is still allowed to follow the signature then there is no need for ambition to get reward because our goal here is to learn the world of cryptocurrency while looking for bounty gift
There are campaigns that do allow Junior members to participate actually. We have few of such in bitcoin campaigns but many are found in the altcoin section. A lot of them here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0. And most of them allow junior members to enroll in telegram and Facebook bounties too.
1932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Private Sale? on: June 04, 2018, 03:47:36 AM
I've participated in the open privatesale and honestly i feel so good with it. I bought more than 100 eth worth of open token and it has returned to the 300eth right now. The private sale has been offering to the whales or large participant if there will be more whales join and the total circulating supply will be owned by some person and then the only way to buy token that through the exchange site. And that will be so easy touch 2x - 3x return and that's awesome. less token holders and more hype
But man, do you not get scared the company might run with your money if it is a scam and they do no list it out there on an exchange? I agree that buying private sale can make you easy money but it is a big blind risk to take
1933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: VISA has collapsed on: June 03, 2018, 07:41:41 PM
VISA suddenly collapsed...BTC has never crashed..
The era of digital money is approaching? BTC go to moon?
Are you happy that Visa is having issues with transactions going through that you quickly are shouting it has collapsed? Your thinking that bitcoin has not collapsed before is not true. How do you define what happened to bitcoin that it fell from $19,500+ to around $6000 some few months ago, if not collapse. What about when bitcoin confirmations were delayed? Bitcoin also has its own issues too.
1934  Economy / Economics / Re: I almost lost my rock solid regular job because of crypto on: June 01, 2018, 09:13:26 PM
Like the title says, i almost lost my regular job as a software developer today when my boss reviewed my work. The job has been able to economically provide a comfortable life for me and losing it would really be a big hit to my income. I almost lost it because i spent so much time learning about everything crypto (mining, trading, bounties, etc.).

Has anyone else experienced this? I just feel pretty lucky I was given another chance and want to remind other people that having a regular job is much better than relying on the volatility of cryptocurrencies. Make sure you prioritize your work!

Are you warning us here that we should not participate in anything bitcoin or is your case a question of doing the right thing at the wrong time? It is important we know that no part of our business should suffer depreciation because we are learning bitcoin.
1935  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC in Mother-Russia on: June 01, 2018, 08:32:00 PM
I think it should really be a good time for the Russia media to talk about bitcoin whether for good or bad. now that the world cup holding in Russia is almost here.
1936  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: easy way to follow the bitcoin price on: June 01, 2018, 07:24:17 PM
we have made a website to follow the bitcoin price with an easy way
also we have added 32 different currencies to make it easy to use

the website :
https://laiwujob.net/
I do not known if it is my internet connection or not, I find your site difficult to use. So many clusters on it that makes the site slow. Also, the service you want to provide is already provided and it is fast on the bitcoin calculator, bitkoin.io from the playstore. May be you should edit your site for easy use.
1937  Economy / Speculation / Re: Those who sold bitcoin are in for a big loss on: June 01, 2018, 06:52:47 PM
You can't be too sure that they are in a loss except you are one of them as you do not know at what price they bought and sold off. In general, this is how business works, you either make loss or gain. The important thing is to learn from the experience and move on.
1938  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does holding long term can be worthy despite of unpredictable market? on: June 01, 2018, 06:24:45 AM
I am still eager to think more positive ways despite how unpredicatable the market is. We couldn't control it actually because if there's an option to manipulate the current market, I woudl really love to do that. We're bound here to earn profit so the desire is always there , but since the current situation remarkably stressing us out, maybe we must stay calm for the main time.
You too want to manipulate the market?  It is good you lack that ability in finance to do that. We have enough manipulators that is causing the market fluctuations. About how unpredictable the market is now, it will be better to buy cheap and then wait for long term for profit. The fall will not stay forever.
1939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I read this on Forbes today... on: May 31, 2018, 07:26:29 PM
Quote
Investing in cryptocoins or tokens is highly speculative and the market is largely unregulated. Anyone considering it should be prepared to lose their entire investment.

How fucking stupid is that?  Anyone investing in crypto should prepare to gain 10X their entire investment.  This would be a much better way to prepare as it is far more likely to happen than a loss of entire investment.  WTF is wrong with journalists today?

It is okay situation. Almost every day I read news. And everytime I see news that some think that bitcoin is a buble. Don't pay attention.
Those who listen to the journalists about bitcoin  today are those who are ignorant of what crypto is and why it was formed. Am sure this type of people are still here in this forum. That is their bad luck.
1940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Difficulties of investing on: May 31, 2018, 02:02:44 PM
We can see that blockchain industry is growing continuously and a lot of investors are getting interested. They are becoming aware of the advantages of cryptocurrency and want to convert some of their savings into crypto assets. However I think investing on crypto is not that easy as it sounds. There are lot of risk involve in the process. Would you guys want to share what risks or difficulties investors may have to face while investing on cryptocurrency ?
There is nothing much to it except that you can loose your money. It is same everywhere with business I hope you know this. Also since it is online business, you will have every problems associated with only business with investing in crypto. People can play you for trusting them with your money. Lost of access to your registered account and password is also a problem.
