Still with 7 transactions per second being the hard cap limit, I will always have a big bear in me telling me this will never grow out to compete with credit card companies. And also this issue can't be fixed.

I thought this could be changed when necessary

If not I may become a bear as well

Anyone wondering whether this is just the shoulder?

I didn't until I saw the post from a month ago about how the price was gonna pass 200 then ramp up

Enjoy your life and never look back..
There are many things more important than the possibility of wealth.
And congrats on your house being owned.
May your family once again regain your full attention and may the decisions you made for them never be regretted

Cheers

I agree
If btc go past 1000 I'll buy back what I sold at a 30% loss.
But unless btcchina starts pulling this market back up all I see is mt gox users buying because they don't know how to get there money back to the us

Once they feel safe I believe we will go back down
Then again I'm almost always wrong

So far I have never had a problem with deposits at cavirtex

1931  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever again go under $400? on: November 20, 2013, 08:46:49 PM
Seeing as most of us have bitcoins that cost under 140 dollars I think it's a good possibility.
If 400 is the new bottom I will still be very happy
1932  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin ever again go under $400? on: November 20, 2013, 05:57:21 PM
I don't think we are out of the woods yet...
If we follow the same trend as yesterday we will see 400 in the next 10 hours

We will see
1933  Economy / Speculation / Re: Testing the 500 support on: November 20, 2013, 06:04:20 AM
I'm guessing 3 maybe 400 bottom
It seems like yesterday though when 140 was the ceiling

I live on an island of 12000 people and I have only met 2 people who have or have had bitcoins

Good idea

Ignoreland
1937  Economy / Speculation / Re: this is amazing! on: November 19, 2013, 08:14:57 PM
really?

anyone who knows why we buy bitcoins can see that is a 10k to 1m/btc idea with a good possibility it could be worth 0
that is why you invest as much as you can lose, because on the upside it is a 10X-1000X investment, and on the downside it is a smoking habit

step one
becomes an accepted speculation investment amongst average investers $500-5k/btc
step two
becomes an easy way to transfer money and buy assets around the world..  10k-50k/btc
step 3
becomes the collateral by which large import export is done around the world ie, a storage of wealth 100k-300k/btc
step 4
becomes the financial collateral by which large countries can repay deficit in trade 1m-10m/btc

gamble and hope
invest and profit
speculate, and lose sleep

this is Bitcoin
1938  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Official CaVirtex.com Thread on: November 19, 2013, 04:33:23 PM
That will change instantly if there is a good dividend on quarter 1
But as I said before
A report would be nice
1939  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Official CaVirtex.com Thread on: November 19, 2013, 03:19:41 PM
Everyone should take a big deep breath
Most of us don't use cavirtex as our main trading engine
It is the vehicle that we use to connect BTC to our bank accounts.
A job they do quite well despite the banks hostility

If this is about IPO price tanking remember to look at there trade volume and consider the possible dividend.

The only thing I'm worried about atm is there lack of any financial reports....
because although the rest can be annoying
No report is just bad business especially because if they don't have one out it is either because
A.    It would be damaging to their business to release one
Or
B.    They are waiting for the end of the fourth quarter so they can show awesome growth after this run up
Or
C.  Complete incompetence

I'm hoping for b

Stop the fud

Cbtc has been one of the most open BTC businesses I've ever seen.

Looking forward to your month end report
