1921  Economy / Services / Re: Windows Azure VPS with 10 days Warranty starting from just $3.5 on: May 06, 2014, 08:43:58 AM
"10 days warranty". Will we get into problems?
1922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: 1 MH/s LTC mining contract - $155 - LIFETIME HOSTED on: May 06, 2014, 08:42:13 AM
I understand you are selling their service, but, just a question - how is it possible to offer a service which has obvious recurring costs for a single lifetime cost?
Sorry - It's something I've been wondering for a while. How do these guys do it?
1923  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bestexchangeonline.com Provide Hot Offer on: May 06, 2014, 01:15:22 AM
Looks like Scam
I would be quite carefull... Im still waiting for my money now two days, they paid just about 30% of the total amount and now there's "problems". They are saying that they will pay fiat conversion instead of refunding remaining btc. Let's see.

Ok, solved. There was some problems, solved after they paid $ through perfectmoney. That was fast.
Did they pay you the rate you were quoted or a worse one, as you said?
1924  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Dark Wallet Alpha Specs and Discussion on: May 06, 2014, 12:33:39 AM
I am testing it right now. I must say I'm impressed with it - I'm kind of sorry I can't use it with real Bitcoins yet Smiley
One thing I've noticed is that I think I've been notified twice for a few of the TXs I've sent to the wallet. I'm talking about desktop notifications.

EDIT: In the "Send" tab, the "Sending from" option, would be much clearer if it had the balance of each "Pocket".
Also, allowing to send the full balance (even as an option inside the advanced options) would be very helpful.
1925  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BTCRock! 370 satoshi guaranteed, unlim multiply. We have payed more than $130! on: May 05, 2014, 05:47:18 PM
Another bug report: if you play a game and leave the page open after playing, there will be a timer counting down from 50 minutes; when the timer reaches zero, you will be asked to enter the CAPTCHA again, but you are still logged in. However, after entering the CAPTCHA, you get an error 500 (internal server error) and you have to manually reload the page and log in again.

I already reported the error a few days ago:
Just received payment. Thanks a lot!
I found a problem: if I leave the page open, and I try to play again (using the captcha) after the waiting time, I get a blank page. I have to reload the page, and it will then ask me to login again.

As for blank page - we will fix bug this week - it is because expiring session.
Thanks for bug reporting and feedback about payment!

The admin said he'd fix it. I wrongly said it was fixed a few days ago - it's still happening.
1926  Economy / Services / Re: Bitcoin Accepted - shared hosting - cPanel $0.99/m - Autoinstaller - Fast Server on: May 03, 2014, 02:48:50 AM
How much do you charge for a dedicated IP?
Do you need our details to create an account, or is it possible to just provide the domain and pay for the hosting?
1927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did someone ever fix namecoin!? on: May 03, 2014, 02:38:45 AM
Mods- sorry if im in the wrong place... Huh
Yes, I think this should be moved to Alternate cryptocurrencies
But answering your question, yes, it has been solved. You'll find more info here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=236340.0

No, I used all 5 then I waited more than 50 minutes and re logged in and I had only 3.

I have checked database and everything is ok with your accaunt info. Pls try again to login and if you will have 3 pickaxes again
let me know.
I just checked the site and it seems you've fixed the blank page that appeared if we submitted the captcha after the session expired. Thanks a lot! Smiley
1929  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Referrals 50%! 9bitz.eu FAUCET on: May 02, 2014, 05:19:38 PM
50% from referral, nice! i have 105 referrals Grin

hmm can you delete play now button and change it to captcha input directly?
everyone who log in there almost 100% want to claim biitcoin right, i think no point for play button there
that will reduce step to claim free bitcoin from 4 to only 3 steps
It is like that on purpose Smiley
That way, you visit another page - and (s)he gets another pageview of ad revenue Cheesy
1930  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] MICROSOFT MAK & RETAIL Keys for BTC [LEGIT] on: May 02, 2014, 05:17:39 PM
If I've understood it properly:

300 activations = 0.08 BTCTC

Since they are "activations" (keys with multiple uses), what happens when, for example in the "300 activations" one, get their 301st use? Are all activations void?
1931  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: DEBIT BITCOIN CARD by XAPO on: May 02, 2014, 01:31:05 PM
This is exactly what I have been looking for! And even huge. You realize that in the eyes of the average consumer that bitcoin just became viable as real money? Get bitcoins, get a pretty card, and spend basically anywhere?! Xapo has added so much value to the bitcoin network. This will legitimize bitcoin to a lot of laymen.
And they've not even started.
Let's hope they don't have problems with MasterCard though. I can see MasterCard having reasons to prevent them from launching the card...
1932  Economy / Goods / Re: Offering: Fully Anonymmous, Reloadable Visa / Mastercard (Bitcoin, Paypal) on: May 02, 2014, 01:28:33 PM
Do Virtual Cards cost the same as physical cards?
I mean, they usually cost more (physical cards), and you're offering free shipping... so I guess there should be a difference, right?
.Online banking (see transactions + balance)
Do we need to register? Is it available in English?
1933  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Yelp now lists businesses that accept Bitcoin on: May 02, 2014, 12:49:11 AM
I noticed you cannot yet search by companies that pay with bitcoin.

If they add that, it will help a lot when going to a new town. Though you can currently use coinmap and other services.
And it will make companies even more likely to accept Bitcoins so they appear in the search results when people search for businesses that accept them.
1934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My credit card is frozen--good opportunity on: May 02, 2014, 12:45:39 AM
My card gets turned off *any time* i use a new gas station that I "dont normally use".

I have to call up and have it turned back on at least once a month.

Thanks Chase!
A new gas station? Have you had any problems with the security of your cards in the past or it's just them being paranoid? Because I can't think of any other reasons for this...
I mean, gas has value... but the same would apply for many other types of businesses.
1935  Other / Off-topic / Re: Prayers for Bitcoins! Announcing the Church of Bitcoin! on: May 02, 2014, 12:41:11 AM
Do you offer bulk pricing? I need 100+ prayers/week.
Also, I can see you've talked previously about an API. Is it available for customers as well or just to religions?
1936  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] ColdMonitor: a wallet for true HODLers (early preview) on: May 02, 2014, 12:21:08 AM
(Wow, a reply and a positive one at that!)

> Do you plan on charging for the service? And specifically for SMS/email alerts?

I haven't given much thought about that yet. I do plan to find a way to generate revenue eventually (at least to keep the lights on and keep my stomach full if I'm lucky) but I'm not sure what form it will take yet. I think I will probably go with a freemium type model: a free basic version and a paid version with additional features. Or have a free web app and sell a paid mobile app? Or make it free for wallets with less than X BTC and paid for wallets with more than X BTC? Or have everything free but charge for API usage? Just run on donations and hope that BTC will go to the moon?

Those are just some ideas off the top of my head. Are SMS alerts something you'd be willing to pay for? Otherwise, are there any set of features that you think would be worth paying for? In any case, I'll give you a free coupon because you are a self proclaimed poor developer and you were the first to post here Smiley

Thanks for the post by the way, really cheered me up!
I'm glad I cheered you up Smiley I really see a need for this service, people don't have the time to monitor their wallets 24/7 and with your service this would be possible.

I can  see many of those ideas are viable. Others (like only charging wallets below X BTC) would only lead to abuse (people would create many smaller ones).

Definitely, SMS alerts is something I'd be willing to pay for (with a good gateway so no messages get lost / undelivered) since I believe it's the most reliable way to get notified almost anywhere in the world.
If the wallet is very important to me, I'd pay to have another backup gateway (In case no SMS delivery confirmation, the message would be sent through another provider). This could be an extra service on top of the normal one.

Maybe you could implement a freemium model with a limit of features per period of time (for example, maximum 10X email notifications and X SMS notifications per month in the free plan, and so on for each paid plan).

I assume, since you said you wrote a wallet, that we'd be notified of TXs immediately - so this would be a great service.

Thanks in advance for the free coupon, really appreciate it Smiley
1937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My credit card is frozen--good opportunity on: May 01, 2014, 09:11:07 PM
Last time Visa froze my card because I ordered "$1500 of merchandise from an online store categorized as 'women's apparel.'"  When I called to resolve the issue they said that "since I was not a woman" the transaction was flagged as suspicious.  Visa, do you not realize that men buy things for women?
Has this seriously happened to you? It is much more worrying than it appears - you can't even buy things "that you aren't supposed to buy".

...  When I called to resolve the issue they said that "since I was not a woman" the transaction was flagged as suspicious.  ...

Do we really want companies scrutinizing our lives this much? How can that not give anyone the creeps?
That is another problem. Following the problem with the card I quoted, they must have a very complete profile of each of us based on our purchases.
1938  Other / Off-topic / Re: Post your Total time logged into Bitcointalk on: May 01, 2014, 09:01:17 PM
I've been logged in for a little less than 7 hours I really can't believe how some people have 100s of hours lol that's crazy
Or over 100 days. Many people spend the whole day here.

Well, in my case I just leave this on while I go do other stuff, so it's not really that surprising.  Tongue
I think it doesn't work that way - I think it keeps counting time for a while, but then it stops.
1939  Economy / Services / Re: [SOLD] Method to get ~0.04 BTC every day. on: May 01, 2014, 08:33:30 PM
Can someone recap what happened in short? Thanks Cheesy
OP tried to sell a "method" to make money.
No one believed him. Everyone believed it was a scam.
Even some people offered him to buy the "method".
No one ordered. Then OP said the method had been sold exclusively to one person.

Which everyone doubts, of course. Smiley
1940  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How safe is it to invest in just-dice on: May 01, 2014, 08:31:35 PM
On the site, the "invested" amount is currectly at 36,085.
So the total bankroll would be that 36,085 + original funds from owners?

The bankroll is the amount stated on the website, the owners take a 10% cut on profits
Does this mean the owners have invested 0 BTC into the site's bankroll?
