Meanwhile, Chelsea had to settle for 1 point in today's Premier League vs Wolves match. No one expected that it was a goalless match today but it is a sign that Chelsea are not at their best in recent games. After Chelsea lost to West Ham some time ago it looks like they are so difficult to get 3 points from each match, almost all match ended in a draw for them except against Leeds United.

Well usually Chelsea attempts lot of shots on goal against the opponent but today Wolves contained them pretty well. It was a very impressive defence performance from Wolves and they didn't allowed Chelsea to try some shots. Also they had some good plays and put some pressure on Chelsea so given their opponents, Wolves did really well and fight Chelsea and well deserved point there for them. This allows Liverpool chance to extend their margin between them and Chelsea in the table.

CIS teams in Blast Premier World Final 2021 (Final). Navi defeated Vitality just an hour ago to advance into Grand Finale against Gambit. Navi looked today very sharp against Vitality and they shut them completely down in both maps. With Gambit having slight difficulty yesterday holding down Vitality but eventually they made it but it sure wasn't their best performance, I think Navi should be the one lifting this trophy today.

The career of Aubameyang at Arsenal has come to an end. Arsenal's first team no longer trains with him, so he will need to work independently until he leaves for the Africa Cup of Nations. Arsenal doesn't seem to be happy anymore, first it was Ozil and now it is Auba, which is quite unfortunate. Arsenal is a professional when it comes to sullying its dedicated players. He should terminate his contract as soon as possible. He is being treated like a bad way when Arsenal is a small team.

Arsenal's first team no longer trains with him? I wonder where you got that from. Aubameyang is facing disciplinary action so I am sure he is not allowed to join in the first team training. We don't know what's happened there. Auba is a star for Arsenal but if he has done something wrong then he should be punished. Arteta is very strict when it comes to discipline a player. Not sure when this is gonna end but I think it shows a strong character of the manager and it infact should be laid down in order to lead and manage the team. Auba is not the only one who has been disciplined like this but there have been few more, its just that Auba's case was handed more publicly than anyone else.

Sooner or later a decision will definitely be taken on how the best step is whether to stop football or continue behind closed doors, it all must be done faster so that cases do not become more widespread in their country.
But until now EPL matches still have spectators and are not limited, only required by a few rules that are applied, it seems that not only in the EPL, other European countries will be affected.
I hope the world is fine. Smiley

Yeah major action is still to be taken regarding playing behind closed doors and whether to postpone the games for now or not. Situation is very worse in UK with cases reaching over around 80,000 each day which is really a worrying figure. I think lot of directions will be laid out by their government which ultimately will force PL officials to lay down some rules to contain this widespread again. As for now remaining games are on schedule. We only had Aston Villa vs Burnley game postponed today just 1-2 hours before the game. Hope the remaining games yesterday starts smoothly.

It's obvious that the odd favors Arsenal to win the match going by Leeds Utd heavy loss infiltrated on them by Man City, however Arsenal can be inconsistent at times, when they are tip to win a particular match they flop, I hope this scenario will not happen today, Leeds Utd are like a wounded lion who will try and avoid the repeat of their last match walloping and try to impress their teeming fans atleast to get favourable scoreline, Arsenal too will try and consolidate on their last win provided that they would not disappoint their fans in today's match.

There is an element of surprise in every match. Right now in this game, Arsenal are clear favourites and are on form with no major injuries and just Aubameyang missing due to disciplinary actions and right now he is replaced by Lacazette who is scoring goals. So lets take some points- Gunners have good defence, strong midfield presence and making good plays, and even attacker is scoring goals so not really a major concern for Arsenal. On the other hand, we have Leeds who are without a striker and their only goal scorer has been Raphinha (most of the times) and are missing lot of players. I think from Arsenal point of view it is an easy match and should win easily with 2-3 goals gap while if Leeds were to play at their best , I think they might force Arsenal to settle in for a draw if they score first like did against Chelsea (but they lost against them but the pressure on Chelsea then was massive).

G2 were eliminated but NiKo was the MVP of the series imo (despite s1mple farming kills on mirage)...says a lot about both teams, Navi looking super shaky lately and G2 being a one man army. Not sure if  m0NESY (new G2 player) is gonna fix all the issues they have, it's a big gamble

Yeah, Niko is such a legend. Even in Faze he was the one performing for them most of the times. Its sad to see him get nothing in 2021. Last he won was IEM New York 2020 (Europe) with FaZe, with G2 his trophy cabinet has been blank. I do hope he gets something in next year or maybe switches to a better team and get some success there.

Vitality x1.77 odds were good enough for a single but they got slashed overnight and it's currently 1.6x...i might go 2-1 Vitality or +2.5 like @ralle14 said...gambit are really good on vertigo but i think Ovp could be a good option for them

Gonna go with Gambit winner today and just enjoy the match. It will be some quite entertaining match between the two in the upper bracket finals about to go down in less than half an hour.

It seems that a lot of clubs want to bring Martial from Manchester United. According to current news, among them are Juventus and Newcastle. What do you think?

Well it's good for Martial. He was out of favour for Ole and right now Ralf Rangnick also hasn't used him till now. It's a good chance for him to get over to another team and find better playing minutes and both Juventus and Newcastle do need some star players so it seems like a good transfer rumour.

Manchester United and England forward Marcus Rashford, 24, is open to signing for Barcelona. Does Barcelona have the finances to cover this transfer?

I also have my doubts over Barcelona finances but Rashford to Barca seems like a deal might fall through in between. Maybe player denies at some point or team has other players in priority but this doesn't seems like a strong rumour to me.

Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani, 34, wants to leave Manchester United in order to sign a deal with Spanish club Barcelona in January. It seems that Manchester United could strengthen Barcelona a lot this season  Grin

Yeah good point, there has been lot of rumours of Cavani being linked to Barcelona and right now they do need a striker. Cavani is a great to fill the spot - he has got the experience and seems like a perfect for Barcelona. Question is if Cavani will say yes to this?

Barcelona will consider selling Netherlands midfielder Frenkie de Jong, 24, in the summer if they receive a good offer. Another player who came to Barcelona with high expectations but failed.

Do they even have the right to sell? I mean Luuk de Jong is on loan at Barca from Sevilla so if Barca wants to get rid of him then they can already end the loan deal with mutual agreement or just keep him until the loan ends out.

Four more games have been postponed which were decided to be played today normally. Covid-19 has started affecting the leagues very badly. And I wonder if the leagues will come to a halt some time later. Because things have started becoming really serious now. Until this big problem is solved, they might make a decision like this and the leagues would end later than it was decided.

There isn't any major decision taken regarding postponement of the league but right now they are postponing games of affected teams only. For this game week we have only 5 games, 2 today and 3 tomorrow so still decent action to watch and better than watching no games at all. They might suspend the whole league but I hope it doesn't comes to that and Covid situation in UK resolve quickly.

NaVi vs G2 1st map was really entertaining. NaVi had a very good lead but G2 made signs of comeback with Niko rising like a beast in the map- Nuke in which NaVi is currently at best. Niko was the best in the server and he had 35 kills and the only one lifting G2 massively but unfortunately that wasn't enough to put map1 on the board for G2. Second map - Inferno is G2's pick and I am thinking maybe taking G2 with the profit I made on Navi to win 1st.
1931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 17, 2021, 04:45:03 PM
Are there any news regarding the postponements? I see that a lot of games are postponed (only 2 out of 6 games are to be played tomorrow and Everton - Leicester won't be played on Sunday).
They were discussing the postponement of the whole round and Carabao Cup games as well, but for now it seems like half of the games will be played which doesn't make much sense at all. Leeds is set to play and they have 11 senior players available in their roster, with 2 of them being goalkeepers.

There isn't any clear discussion on the suspension of the games but yeah some managers have dropped in their suggestions but right now PL intends to  "continue its current fixture schedule where safely possible" (Source) . Guess they are just postponing the games against the teams which are COVID affected and doesn't have much players to play the game. Haven't seen any real update though but guess we have five games on schedule for this gameweek.

Chelsea's Werner is now also out because of Corona.  Further infections in the team cannot be ruled out. It will be really interesting to see how this develops in general. Corona could be a factor that shakes up the championship once again.Liverpool and ManCity have come through the fourth wave quite well so far. Manchester United and Tottemham have been hit the hardest.
Chelsea were without Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner and Callum Hudson-Odoi due to positive Covid-19 tests, with Kai Havertz ill and another possible coronavirus case. So sad. COVID-19, can't you just go away and leave us with the game that give us joy. With the way clubs have not been playing for weeks now, I think they should stop the premier League. Give it a break of two weeks or so so that everyone can recover and make necessary arrangements to continue in a safe environment. Why not just call off the entire league football till further notice instead of fixing games today and calling it off tomorrow. Just call off all footballing activities till the outbreak is under control. Having some games played today and others postponed doesn't make much sense.

That doesn't mean a lot when you are fighting for the title you cannot justify a draw in your home stadium against a team in which last 10 games had only draws and lost games except a surprise win against Arsenal.I count out Chelsea from the title fight now as they have also done the same a couple of games before against Manchester United and United despite having Ronaldo is not fighting for any title, what I mean is that with Chelsea this is repetitive and this won't let them fight for the title. They were also screwing up with Leeds last week but won in the end of the game with a bunch of luck.

Chelsea have a dense squad and yeah they have key players out due to COVID illness but yesterday I think they should have won that match. They put of lot of shots and some of them were easy ones which were missed. Everton were with 3-4 youth players and still managed to get a draw out of that one. In my opinion if Chelsea yesterday scored on those easy opportunities then they would have won 2-3 goals gap easily.  Mount had one or two, there was some for Reece James as well but in the end its the goal that matters. Overall they were building plays like they usually do but just they weren't able to put much in the back of the net.

If the news about Manchester City being interested in Erling Haaland is true, then it is making me excited already. However they aren't going to be the only team to offer a deal for him of course. But if Manchester City also join this race, they can be one of the closest teams to sign a deal with him. But Real Madrid still could have the most advantage.

Its hard to say about Madrid. I think it would be either Mbappe or Haaland but not both. With Mbappe being close to sign for Madrid in the summer I don't think they would go after Haaland then. But if PSG manages to extend Mbappe's contract or some other team (other than Madrid) gets Mbappe then in that case I think its possible that they would go after Haaland.

Haaland to City seems like a very good news but I think he is gonna honour his contract with Dortmund for now and Dortmund is with stance that they don't want to sell Norwegian striker so unless City offers them a very good deal I don't think Dortmund are gonna let him go.

Journalist Christian Falk reports that Chelsea player Antonio Rudiger has decided to move to Real Madrid. The footballer rejected other offers and intends to continue his career in the Royal Club camp.

It is worth noting that the German was interesting to a number of European top clubs, among which were PSG, Bayern Munich and Manchester United.

The only one who could compete with Real Madrid in terms of salary for Rudiger is PSG, but the French are doing well in defense.

https://www.readfootball.com/ryudiger-otverg-vse-predlozheniya-opredelilsya-s-novym-klubom-246774.html

If I recall correctly (since I follow Christian Falk also) , Real Madrid are not the only one interested. There are lot of teams according to Christian Falk interested in Rudiger like Manchester United, PSG , Bayern and Madrid. But out of all Real Madrid is on the pole position only if he leaves Chelsea. Right now it is still ongoing but here is what Falk posted about Rudiger salary expectations : https://twitter.com/cfbayern/status/1471050672284045312

With a winning streak in the last 10 matches, there is no reason for Madrid to lose against Cadiz.  Cheesy

However, the problem is, Madrid reportedly have players are positive COVID-19, they are Modric and Marcelo. Both players will be out for quarantine. This incident also keep them out of from squad until at least after/beginning of 2022.

Luckily Madrid only met a team that was struggling to out from relegation zone, maybe the absence of Modric and Marcelo would not be a serious problem for Madrid

Well that's a worrying news but I think Real Madrid has lot of players. Fede Valverde is the one who is usually substituted in for Modric so I think he should be the one starting and honestly I think he is a great player so not that bad kind of a situation. With COVID protocols, let's say they would be out for 2 weeks but Real Madrid don't have any tough fixtures like they have to face Cadiz and Bilbao so shouldn't be much of a problem unless they are hit with more players with COVID.

What a game that was between Nip and Astralis. [...]
yep, although, NIP choked big time on Nuke, they were 10-2 at some point, but Glaive popping off when they needed him the most. Great match

Yeah gla1ve was missing a lot of shots but well he find his form back in the game when the team needed. Glad that he did  otherwise Astralis wouldn't have made it in the next stage. OT was a really tense one but gl1ve picked up some really crucial kills there. BlameF also shined up bright for Danish side throughout the game.

Looking at the position of Chelsea and Everton in the points table now, Chelsea team can be said to be strong without any doubt. Moreover, Chelsea's gameplay is very stable this season. They are consistently playing well. However, Chelsea's performance in the last match against Everton is not very good. Chelsea have won just two of their last five matches against Everton. Everton won all 3 matches.

I think Everton having good H2H in 5 last meetings was long time ago and things have changed lot since then. Right now even if Everton were to have their all players fit Chelsea would have still been the heavy favourite in this fixture. Everton have long list of injuries and not a good atmosphere in their camp with doubts over Rafa Benitez management so I think Chelsea should easily win this unless they make mistakes and concedes goals heavily.
1938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: December 16, 2021, 04:20:50 PM
What a game that was between Nip and Astralis. After Map1, Nip did well to hold of things with Astralis in the second map and just barely made out to level it to 1-1 but map 3 was very much entertaining one. NIP had a good chance and great lead by the end of first half of map 3 but Astralis really were spectacular to push it into OT and in OT it was all Astralis after then.

Now Astralis are off to face NaVi and that would be much more difficult test for them.

Four hours to go for the Chelsea vs Everton match. The absolute favourite is Chelsea. Everton have so many important players missing now. Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin are also among these players. Chelsea have a match that is given to them like a gift. The only thing they need to do is to play with their usual game plan focusedly and destroy Everton.

With that injury list and some key players missing for Everton in this upcoming match, this one should be a piece of cake for Chelsea. I am expecting Lukaku to start today who is available for the game so I think he would be the one on the scoresheet tonight.

Also in another match- Liverpool vs Newcastle, should be an easy match for Reds too. So seems like no drop of points for the teams at the top of the table.

Manchester United reportedly seems to be very busy in the transfer market later, apart from being linked with Haalaand, Manchester United will reportedly also try to bring in Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid in January, Joao Felix who has a contract until 2026 is reportedly ready to be released by Atletico Madrid at a higher cost of 80 million euros.

https://www.eurosport.com/football/transfers/2021-2022/manchester-united-face-four-way-premier-league-battle-for-atletico-madrid-s-joao-felix-paper-round_sto8667088/story-amp.shtml
Truth be told, for a player to come to Manchester United it will take a lot of admiration for this club , otherwise I don't see Haaland opting to make this move to Old Trafford. I see Haaland in clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona or remain in Germany...England would be a great destination for him as the league here is verycompetitive.

As for Joao Felix , if this is the price tag then this is a done deal for a talented player like him.

I don't know but I don't feel like Haaland is going United. Maybe I am just thinking this too hard but we all know that Haaland's father Alf-inge Haaland has played for City 3 seasons and we know City and United has history between them so not sure that he is going there. Maybe some other club but not United. Possible that City might get him but I am sure they are not the only one to go after him. He is a wonderkid and there would be long list of teams going after him.
