Well it's going to penalties but this has to be the best single day of the quarter finals ever.  The Dutch in the last second brought it to extra time and Croatia down 1 in extras in the final minutes scored as well.  Argentina looked the better team today so I hope they go through.  Netherlands looked good for about 10 minutes but that's all it takes.
The Netherlands struggle ended, Argentina won and qualified for the semi-finals against Croatia. Congratulations to Argentina, I appreciate their hard work in this match. This match really drained a lot of energy because the winner must be determined until the penalty shootout. Emiliano Martínez is the savior with his 2 penalty saves, he is really living the Argentine dream at this time. I hope they will reach the final in this World Cup, anything is possible.
1922  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My advice If you are here to make money on: December 09, 2022, 09:49:37 PM
Specific on the futures, for the newbies do not futures if you are new to it.

It is highly recommended that you shouldn't get into it. And this isn't only just for the newbies.

Also the old timers, if you cant bear the risk of futures. Just do not do it, I have seen a lot of lives ruined by it.
I will try not to fall for futures trading although some strategies can be profitable too. Right now I tend to focus on long term investing rather than trading, but I can still take advantage of trading something if I have good momentum. Futures trading is indeed profitable, but the risk will be very high for those who do not know how to control their emotions and are too greedy. Ignore futures trading, this is my current way of staying focused on long term goals.
1923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 09, 2022, 09:27:30 PM
The world cup is getting crazier in the quarter-finals especially because there are many matches to be decided by penalties. Brazil lost on penalties against Croatia, and now the same scenario is very likely for Argentina against the Netherlands.

I think Argentina will also be out today following Brazil. The two teams drew each other and haven't scored a goal in extra time at the moment, so now there's only 15 minutes left before going into the penalty shoot-out. If it comes to the penalty round, then I think the Netherlands will win.
1924  Other / Archival / Re: [Merit] Help newbies and those who have a little left to the next rank on: December 08, 2022, 03:06:29 PM
To be honest I'm applying this because I do need merit for signature campaign some of campaign need at least 5 for applying their project.  Sad
It's not as bad as it sounds, and you have been honest about what your goals really are. I never thought that you would be blamed for trying to get merit to qualify applying for signature campaign, but you may want to review the thread rules before submitting your application.

You will get merit if the quality of your post is really decent, meaning that without applying anywhere you will also get it because people will appreciate your quality, not your wishes. The merit system is useful for assessing the quality of user posts, but not all posts will be rewarded with merit because the distribution of merit is very subjective among users. So you just need to try to post something quality, and I think only that will help you get merit.
1925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 08, 2022, 02:56:16 PM
many people still doubt Barcelona even though they are currently at the top of the standings, I don't think this is a coincidence because if you look at Barcelona's statistics this season it has increased quite significantly.
and Real Madrid are also still very strong for this season but if you look at the opportunities between these two teams to win the La Liga title I think both of them still have the same chance.
there is no higher percentage, whoever the team between Barcelona and Real Madrid is able to be consistent until the end of the season will win the La Liga title because the quality of the two teams is not much different and very good.
As a Real Madrid fan I can truly say that Barcelona's attempt to compete in Laliga is neither coincidence nor luck. Barcelona has proven that they are better than Real Madrid at the moment and that is proven by the points they have earned in their last 14 matches.

In Laliga there is no stronger team than Barcelona especially after they only conceded 5 goals in 14 matches, that is Barcelona's good record at the moment. I admit that Barcelona have improved a lot this season, but unfortunately they fell short in the Champions League. Barcelona is a strong team right now based on these statistics, they hold a good record so far especially regarding the number of goals per game, ball possession, shots on target, lowest conceded and so on. Player statistics are also amazing, I must admit that.
1926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: December 08, 2022, 02:43:36 PM
When it comes to age, you can't do anything when age is no longer by your side, particularly in football game which involves strength, agility, Mental energy, and lot more to play. Looking at his performance in this world, it's clearly seen that he has nothing much to offer in the field Play, and I don't really think that he suits the kind of striker that Chelsea needs right now.

However, buying him is still not that bad since he's on free transfer and there are other striker already in Chelsea.
If previously Chelsea could consider Aubameyang whose quality is not comparable to Ronaldo's, then I think Chelsea can also consider Ronaldo for at least 2 seasons. Short-term contract shouldn't be much of a problem for Chelsea and Ronaldo so I think he's still good for the Premier League especially for teams that need a striker.

But I don't know if Chelsea are interested in signing Ronaldo or not, but his attitude with Manchester United at the end of his contract seems to have been Chelsea's consideration before offering him a contract. So Ronaldo's current situation is really difficult, but he's still a striker worth relying on.
1927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins future is Bright on: December 08, 2022, 02:32:20 PM
The dips, dumps and pumps are all just part of the volatility of Bitcoin, as long as Bitcoin has not been adopted fully yet. But as you said, it is only a temporary phenomenon which will resolve itself without doubt. It is not happening for the first time and not for the last time. This is engrained deeply in the very nature of Bitcoin itself. Thats why I hodl and trust Bitcoin. Cheesy
Price volatility is a dynamic for bitcoin, and it's important because that's the only way traders and investors make profits. I can't imagine bitcoin being a stable asset in the future even if adoption becomes widespread, and I don't think that stability will be with bitcoin but its volatility is very likely to decrease.

Price volatility cannot be eliminated in bitcoin because bitcoin is a decentralized asset. No one can control the price in the market but manipulation is possible by those with strong financial power. But that's not a problem for bitcoin as a whole because bitcoin is basically freedom.
1928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will not become the world currency. on: December 08, 2022, 01:32:13 PM
After I figured it out, I no longer expect Bitcoin to be recognized by the state, and it doesn't need to be. It is part of a special asset, not a currency.
So I don't think Bitcoin is going to become a fiat currency.
OP, you should know that bitcoin was created as a currency or means of payment. Bitcoin is a new currency that you can use for unlimited transactions, it is not controlled by any government and authority and is completely decentralized. If you don't agree to recognize it as currency, that's fine because you may have other options for making transactions. The fact is bitcoin is not the only currency accepted in this world and bitcoin is not the main currency, so bitcoin should be an alternative currency for anyone who needs it and supports it.

Governments can certainly consider bitcoin as a currency and adopt it, that's because they know what its advantages and advantages are over fiat. Even if they will never do away with fiat, then they know what bitcoin's economic value is.

Many fans believe so (being able to beat Morocco with all the advantages that the Portuguese players have) because Fernando Santos has monitored Morocco's strategy in several matches they have played including the defeat of Spain.

But from another point of view, Morocco also did the same thing to Portugal after they made sure to qualify for the quarter finals. I'm sure the Moroccan coach will make the Portugal vs South Korea match one of the spectacles to see how they play.

For me, even though on paper Portugal is superior to Morocco, Fernando Santos has to be careful with this team who are nicknamed the Lions of Atlas.
Remember that Spain doesn't have a superstar in its squad, but Portugal has Ronaldo. This is an advantage for Portugal because I think there is always the possibility that some of the Moroccan players will become Ronaldo fans so they will always put him on a lower level.

Morocco will not be able to prevent Portugal from scoring if you really watch Portugal vs Switzerland. So even though Portugal has to be careful, Morocco will lose to Portugal. It is still possible for Morocco to maintain its good performance in defence, but the breaking power of the Portuguese players is much better so I believe the prediction is that Portugal will win easily.
1930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin no longer be Bitcoin if it were adopted by everyone in the world ? on: December 07, 2022, 04:02:32 PM
Initially bitcoin was designed as a means of payment or currency for the best choice for those who care about privacy. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency that is not controlled by the government, so its nature should not change even if it is started to be traded or used as an investment asset for most people.

This nature of bitcoin remains and will not change even if its use cases decline as a currency. But nevertheless bitcoin is a highly valued currency where its volatility has given a trader or investor two possibilities, gain or lose. Even if 99% of users only trade bitcoin instead of using them as a currency or a means of payment, they are still a means of payment.
1931  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Destroy Crap Altcoins? on: December 07, 2022, 03:54:02 PM
Bitcoin is not to destroy altcoin, regardless of the type of altcoin. I would never think bitcoin is a competitor to altcoin, but instead thousands of altcoin are currently trying to be the best bitcoin competitor in the market or in real life. I agree with the assumption that bitcoin is an independent crypto asset that will never depend on any altcoin, but its price will be very sensitive when the industry is hit by an altcoin disaster or a failed centralization project.

So I don't agree that bitcoin will destroy altcoins, but the real thing about altcoins is that they self-destruct due to a lack of investor interest in owning them. The facts show that there are many altcoin that have failed and are at the bottom of the list, but bitcoin is still the king of cryptocurrencies.
1932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 07, 2022, 01:44:17 PM
If only one player is injured at Arsenal in a striker position, I'm sure the Arsenal team can find a replacement. After all, the Arsenal team itself also has other options with reserve players for the same position as Gabriel Jesus. This means that Arsenal will not be too stressed or overwhelmed when a striker is injured even though he is a player who is very often relied on in every game, and it would not be wrong if Arsenal had to put another player in Gabriel Jesus' position for a while.
Even if they were to lose several strikers due to injury, a change in strategy and formation should also help in the meantime. So far Arsnel have enough players in the striker position, so I don't think it matters if one of them is out due to a physical or other problem. Moreover, In football you can't always put players in out of position because the result will be grossly disproportionate. Some players may have the advantage of being able to play in multiple positions, but I don't think that will help the team play as well as expected.
1933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 07, 2022, 12:19:06 PM
Spanish team played like they are always playing - endless passes and no one to actually score a goal. I'm glad that it costed them because now they will have to change something. Yes, it's nice to see them passing the ball in the center of the field, but you can't win if you don't shoot at the goal. Too bad for some of the older players for which this was probably their last World Cup.
I never thought Spain would be World Cup favorites in Qatar to reach the final. The Spanish squad is not strong enough especially on strikers, and this is not their era to win it. I even firmly believed that Spain would never have reached the final had they beaten Morocco in yesterday's game, but their journey ended much sooner.

Brazil has the advantage of reaching the final, as well as Argentina, Portugal and France. I have my doubts about England but their football has developed well in this generation. I think Spain and the current generation of young players still have a chance at the next World Cup or in another competition, so they just need to prepare for another competition from now on.
1934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 06, 2022, 08:23:49 PM
Now I have closed my TV because Portugal really won this match easily from Switzerland. This game started off very well as Switzerland looked great too, but Portugal's success in scoring goals and taking good chances means this game will not be so good to watch until the end.

Benfica striker Gonçalo Ramos has scored 2 goals so far, Pepe 1 and a goal from Raphaël Guerreiro. This makes Portugal really safe to qualify for the next round and I am very sure Morocco will have a very difficult time holding Portugal like Spain earlier. Meanwhile, Manuel Akanji reduced the arrears for the Swiss to 4-1 now and it was a consolation for the Swiss. But hope that Ronaldo will play the rest of the match even though Portugal has won this game 99% of the time.
1935  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie how can i invest in Bitcoin on: December 04, 2022, 06:06:24 PM
As a new investor you must have a good knowledge of your first training. You need to do market analysis first and then invest. Basically new investors who have not acquired much knowledge about the market should invest in Bitcoin first. Because there is no possibility of facing any loss if you invest in Bitcoin. And gradually he will gain knowledge as a successful investor and later on he will have a good understanding of the market and will be able to earn good income.
You don't even have to do too much analysis when bitcoin is your thing. I mean, if you are willing to keep your bitcoins long term after investing then you might make a profit. The main things is that you should hold on your bitcoin long term, avoiding trades and ignoring short term volatility, then you will probably profit from the investment.

If you want to do it, then do it now but still consider something you can afford to lose.
1936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 04, 2022, 05:14:08 PM
And a third goal has been scored by no other than Kylian Mbappé. And the scores stands now at 3 goals to nil. The match has already been won.
And Poland just won a penalty shootout with Lewandoski scoring the only goal for Poland. Having missed the first take and given a redo, he scored the consolation goal for Poland. Poland is now out lot the tournament.
France played superbly and had a well deserved win.
Of course it was a big win for France, they looked strong for Poland but it was a really good match.
Poland actually did not give up on France where they also appeared to dare to attack in the second half. But France have a lot of advantages where they have a lot of players who can really make a difference in attack. Mbappe scored 2 goals during the second half, he was amazing for France.

Furthermore, France will very likely meet England in the quarter-finals because in my opinion England are the favorites against Senegal in a few moments. The England vs France game will be even more exciting to look forward to, I hope for it.
1937  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The patience to hold is a gift on: December 04, 2022, 05:06:43 PM
Well basically I agree that a good introduction when recommending someone invest in bitcoin is to ask them to be a holder rather than a trader. Bitcoin is potentially much more expensive in the future than it is now, so it's best to ignore short-term price volatility and start focusing on longer-term targets.

If they sell at a lower price, I think they misunderstood the market. The purpose of investing is to make a profit, actually profits are not always in the short term because they may be obtained in the long term. So they have to remain patient after deciding to invest in bitcoin. In 2024 we can expect something bigger than 2021, but that is only an unproven possibility.
1938  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My thoughts and now my experience. on: December 04, 2022, 04:52:44 PM
In my opinion i just think that not anyone should follow the other person, not even its family member and friends because he will perhaps more familiar with crypto world but you are not. Other important point is that if you fully understood the things related to investment then its the time when you should have to join it but its reality that even experienced guys can also lose if condition become harsh.
One would be safe if they only invest in bitcoins in the long term. They are likely to lose in the short term due to price volatility, but in the long term it is likely that the holder will get a decent return. But anyone who invests blindly in altcoin without doing any analysis, then of course they will most likely be trapped in altcoin that have no potential where the possibility of loss is clearer than the return.

In my opinion, it is better to buy bitcoins in a hurry than to invest in altcoin that have no potential, but they may have to wait a little longer for the returns to be truly worth it.
1939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: December 04, 2022, 04:28:44 PM
-snip-
Enzo Fernandez is a good option for midfield, but Real Madrid cannot focus solely on strengthening their midfield while they also need to strengthen the striker position. I think Benzema is not fully fit for the rest of the season, so they also need a refresher at striker. I don't know who they will sign yet, but I hope it is very good for Real Madrid.

If Real Madrid let go of Benzema, they will need to add Kylian Mbappe to their squad. Because I think Kylian Mbappé will be able to make up for the lack of Benzema. Also, the biggest thing is that the young players in Real Madrid are very fast, Kylian Mbappe can easily match them.
Mbappe is very good, but in any case I'm not sure Real Madrid will activate his release clause at PSG. Mbappe's price is ridiculous, so it is very difficult to expect Madrid to sign him.
1940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 04, 2022, 04:09:49 PM
a 1-0 victory in the first half will be a good capital for France to win the match in the second round. but I'm sure if France is off guard it could be an opportunity for Poland which I'm sure will add to the intensity of their attack in the second half.
it's a knockout stage, with no draws, and everyone has to give their all. This match was considered good for both teams. however, France is now the favorite by 1 goal. Poland had a chance in the second half to reverse the situation.
France closed the first half with a 1-0 advantage over Poland, of course that was very good for the French squad. However, this match was really interesting considering that both sides had their own chances in the first half, but unfortunately Poland failed to score because Lloris was quick enough to save his net from conceding.

Poland had another 45 minutes in the second half to step up their attack. I think both teams will score in the end, but France will win this match and qualify for the quarter-finals. 2-1 to win France I think is a good choice, but let's see how they react in the second half.
