1921  Other / Off-topic / Re: What browser you are using on: April 02, 2019, 09:21:55 AM
I'm using multiple browsers but I especially like Google Chrome of course, but lately the BRAVE browser winks an eye to me. Brave is based on Chrome so there is a reason why I like it. Anybody else using Brave here?
1922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Revival is On The Way - According to a trader on: April 01, 2019, 04:39:21 PM
I believe that 2020 will mark the beginning of the actual cryptocurrency era. The financial system needs and not only needs a serious upgrade. And cryptocurrencies are the right answer in my vision.
1923  Economy / Speculation / Re: what will make bitcoin price to brake its all time high on: April 01, 2019, 04:21:33 PM
I think that TIME is the prime factor that will make Bitcoin break its ATH. The market moves in market cycles. The fundamentals are very strong for Bitcoin, but we have bull markets and bear markets. Nowadays we find ourselves in a prolonged bear market, but I feel that the next bull market will be much longer. Wink
1924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren buffet now investing in bitcoin on: April 01, 2019, 04:13:18 PM
I'm too greedy to want him to invest in Bitcoin as that would pump the price like crazy. Not even mention the media coverage that BTC will automatically at a worldwide level. I can imagine newspapers' headlines: " Berkshire's Bitcoin Supremacy" lol
1925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do none of you feel guilty? on: April 01, 2019, 03:52:46 PM
I do wear the signature of a bitcoin casino, but I always tell people to don't play with what they can't afford to lose. Gambling shouldn't be made for a living, but only as a hobby or for fun from time to time.
1926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you watch the matches you're gambling on on: April 01, 2019, 03:33:08 PM
Personally watching the games I bet on adds a little bit of extra fun to them. I root for the team I bet on like a crazy man and I get pissed off very quickly. lol Quite a nice way to spend an evening.   Grin
1927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction also a result of trauma? on: April 01, 2019, 03:10:22 PM
Some people "bury" themselves in gambling as it gives them a sense of being alive by experiencing contrarian emotions in very short amount of time. Others are caught in this addiction by pursuing the amounts lost and getting deeper and deeper into debt even losing their house, job or family.
1928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make profit from a dice game? Have any unique strategy? on: April 01, 2019, 02:49:10 PM
There are many strategies to somehow increase your "edge", but you are also increasing your risk at the same time. Let's take Martingale strategy as an example. You double your stake amount everytime you lose. But depending on your betting amount per trade you can bust your entire bankroll if you encounter let's say 7-8 losses in a row.
1929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever managed to recover your losses? on: April 01, 2019, 02:30:59 PM
Have you ever had the experience to recover your losses fully?

NOTE: This thread is not for those small recoverable amounts like 0.01 or 0.1 BTC types, but those big 1, 2, 5, 10 and even 100 BTC losses and some miraculous stories where any of you managed to win them back.

I have never played with such big amounts. Bitcoins are just too valuable for me. Though I have recovered some of those small "recoverable" amounts you are talking about. Just always remember: only play with what you can afford to lose or else you will have so pretty hard emotions..
1930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you bet? on: April 01, 2019, 02:29:08 PM
I start with the fact that statistically I will lose my money to the house on the long run. So I try to play fast and with kind of high stakes so I can get my winnings quick.

1932  Economy / Gambling / Re: SocialBet.io :: We are looking for funding on: April 01, 2019, 02:03:37 PM
I am not a big fan of raffle games. I'd like to see blackjack, roulette or maybe poker & dice with 0% house edge. But I don't know how you will manage to do that..  Also how are you going to maintain the servers if you don't take an edge?
1933  Other / Off-topic / Re: What kind of music do crypto enthusiasts listen to? on: April 01, 2019, 01:43:09 PM
I don't think there is a specific music that crypto enthusiasts listen to, but personally I love EDM. Smiley Also pop songs and deep chill kind of music. Smiley
1934  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest any time? on: April 01, 2019, 01:33:33 PM
"all time is good for investment" is a too general statement and it is mostly applied for long term investors who don't really care about the present price. It won't make much of a difference if you buy at $2000 or at $4000 when bitcoin will be at $100k or even $1M. Of course that you could have doubled your amount. Anything has consequences in the financial world, don't get me wrong.
1935  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Softfork proposal for minimum price of $50k USD/BTC on: April 01, 2019, 01:30:56 PM
Of course we don't need ETFs.. That is just an illusion, a manipulation for retail traders. I'm continuously buying Bitcoin no matter at what price because I know this thing will hit $1M mark in the close to medium future. Wink
1936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not about ''get rich fast'' !! on: April 01, 2019, 01:19:45 PM
I believe that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are about progress and evolution besides privacy and freedom aka decentralization. Speculators are welcomed  as this is a free market but the real "winners" will be the ones who actually contribute to the adoption and understand the technology and infrastructure.

You should join the Stratis discord as the community there can provide you fast and reliable support. Wink Forum is a little bit slow and old for technical difficulties.

1939  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to survive on: March 25, 2019, 06:22:42 AM
Hold the altcoins you believe in long term. Hold your bitcoins if you are not an experienced trader and make investments into security tokens that are backed by an underlying asset. Mining is not profitable atm at least in my region so I'm not doing that anymore.
1940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new coins are worthless! on: March 24, 2019, 10:03:18 PM
Most coins are like that because they don't actually create an ecosystem for the token if it is an utility token. And if it is security token then there might be some problems/uncertainities with the assets backing them. That is why I put so much weight on actually making your own research before investing time or money into a project.
