1921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: December 04, 2016, 03:05:47 PM
to date, there are no banks that accept bitcoin. Well, I feel that banks and bitcoin has a reciprocal nature. in the bank, the transaction whatever you do, would be very easy to know by the bank, however, in the world of bitcoin, nobody knows you're doing sending bitcoin. but, bank, and bitcoin also have much in common, but the bank has not received for the current bitcoin
Banks and Bitcoin are not reciprocal in nature, on the contrary, they are into fierce competition, because they represent two different worlds and that explains why we are yet to find one bank accepting deposits in Bitcoin. Some of the banks are trying to adapt the blockchain technology to come up with their own version of bitcoin, that is an attempt to centralize an established decentralized process and we can be sure, that won't work, because there in lies the key to the freedom that Bitcoin represents.

I agree with what hawkins said, though, Bitcoins and banks don't mix well. Since banks want control over what they hold, they dislike Bitcoins. I haven't heard of a bank that is for Bitcoins since they can not earn from using this technology. People who use bitcoin can just use their wallets and not subscribe to or use banks to do just that. Banking transaction fees will not be imposed by banks since a regular wallet can send money locally or overseas without bank intervention. Then another issue is there is a significant problem lending people with Bitcoin as it has not been adopted widely as of yet.
1922  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If a person has millions of Bitcoin and he dies one day................. on: December 04, 2016, 02:31:25 PM
If it does happen, then the amount of Bitcoin in circulation will drop that much and hence the prices will go up some more. I think this is one of the problems with bitcoin, throughout the lifetime of Bitcoins, there will be instances when a wallet will be lost with some Bitcoins in there. It doesn't matter if it's a million bitcoins or just one Satoshi. If we lost one billion wallets with one Satoshi, then the whole bitcoin network lost 10 BTC already. What if we lose this amount every year? Then, in turn, we lose 10 BTC a year and it will stack up till the end of time. Hence having only a finite amount of Bitcoins then losing Bitcoins every year because it is lost, then the amount of bitcoins circulating will eventually actually drop.
1923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Longest bitcoin transaction that you have waited? on: December 04, 2016, 02:24:29 PM
For me, it was three days. That was a bummer for me. First time to get that kind of transaction. I didn't do anything that was unusual to what I did before, but it took that much time. My setting was to place a lower fee than the normal one. I didn't know what to do when it happened. I read about just double spending, but it seems kind of hard to do. So I didn't try it, because I might send another transaction and send another set of bitcoins.

I think you qouted the wrong message nemgun.

But yeah, everything you should know or need to know is on the first page of this ANN. Check out the roadmap it's quite informative, especially if you are an investor or trader of cryptocurrency. I think this coin has a great future and would most likely double or even triple in after the ICO.
1925  Economy / Services / Re: Free Trading Signals from BTC-Bot on: December 03, 2016, 03:18:15 PM
The sentiments of everybody here is valid and I also agree with them. The fact that the Bot does not give up to date orders then there is no point in having this bot give out free signals. This is because when the bot sends a signal, it has been four hours delayed already and thus we missed our window of opportunity. I guess OP is selling something here, he is not really offering the service for free. He might be giving out delayed signals to free users and up to date signals to those who will pay. We'll have to see where OP want's to bring this.
1926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: #EarnBitcoin on: December 03, 2016, 02:54:05 PM
It's almost a year and a half since this has been posted and the only fiverr has adopted bitcoin as a payment method (I'm not so sure still, please correct if I am wrong). I think the Bitcoin network must offer these services and products something that would change their minds in adopting Bitcoin as a payment method. In my opinion, what is missing is the adoption not by services but by its consumers. If we can influence more than 10% of the total customer base of these services, maybe we can pitch bitcoin to these services. Because if these services do not see that their clients will not use Bitcoins as payment methods, then there is a greater possibility that these services will adopt Bitcoins.
1927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: if you watch a sports game that you bet? on: December 03, 2016, 02:36:38 PM
Do you watch a team that you bet while playing? or you better not watch for fear of later when the team. if I personally see the team but if the team is starting to look to lose I will turn off my television

I do watch! Regardless of betting on my team or not, I watch them till the bitter end! In my opinion, it's much more exciting to watch you, team, when you wager something on them. I cheer more for my team, and it excites me every time my team scores. It's an adrenaline rush when you bet on your team, and the are winning. However, they still need to win by a certain number, so you still cheer them on even if you know they are already winning. It also happens in the opposite, when they are losing by ten buy your bet will win at +9. Then you still cheer them on to get close the odds. I hope that was clear, kind of hard to explain that. Good luck gambling guys!
1928  Economy / Economics / Re: Global Conflagration on: December 03, 2016, 02:19:03 PM
I think losing these kinds of jobs will have a more positive effect in the future, because this means the world is getting more efficient. Thus the world will concentrate on more important matters like growing food, building houses, etc. This is the bright side of removing these jobs.

The securities coming from the previous world war is fading because previous alliances are disintegrating and being forgotten day by day. Hence, the security we once know is fading. Another thing is global competitiveness and more focus on business and not anymore because of previous alliances.

Is Bitconnect interested in translating this ANN to Filipino? I could do this for the project.
Filipino translation is already done by dawnasor. Also, please contact me for any campaign or bounty related queries, instead of posting here, in the future.

Sorry about that Boss, I just saw another guy post about his Korean translation of the ANN. My bad. Sorry again.
1930  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: December 02, 2016, 04:16:10 PM
I think its hard to make bitcoin price stable becouse when the halving day comes the price of bitcoin will pump depend on the demand.

i think for now, bitcoin price is not already stable because i think it would be more than the price now and there is 2 month before the new year and i only hope that in new year, the bitcoin price will be increase than before.

Indeed mate, price of bitcoins normally fluctuates we see a few drops from its value and more on increasing. And I agree that we will see huge increase in the upcoming months.. and more and more people are getting involve in bitcoin because they see a lot of potential to invest in it.

Because of the current instability of Bitcoin prices, some of us earn some money from it. That's why it's a great investment. But I think if more and more people get involved and the adoption of Bitcoins really takes off, then I think the price will stabilize. Since the trading of Bitcoin will be similar to how gold is being traded. Before that happens, I hope I could buy or earn enough Bitcoins.
1931  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: December 02, 2016, 04:07:22 PM
It's a dream that all of us here in this forum are chasing.

While I wait wealth of Bitcoins, I'm old. And I have to be indifferent to the course Bitcoins. I certainly believe in Bitcoin, but its price is rising too slowly. Well, only if a lot of Bitcoins - then it is beneficial

For me its not slow, i cant even believe that its value almost doubled the first time I use it. Btc value now is somehow I think before when Im starting and Im happy that I continue using it even its not in that higher much what more now that its value rising im more hook in learning and gaining knowledge ,strategies and of course having btc too. So if its small before then its getting highee now then there is always a possibility that it gets bigger again and again. Have a little patient and put more efforts.

Me too, I used it since last year. Last year the price was around $300. Now it's $700 going $800. That's almost three times the price I used it extensively. I wish I didn't use the Bitcoin I had back then. It would have doubled my money since then. But I am trying to work more on earning more Bitcoin so that I could ride the waves of its increase.
1932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: December 02, 2016, 03:58:05 PM
I've discovered Bitcoin few days ago, but I am skeptical about few things, why would I invest money in Bitcoins at the end of the day,why would I convert money into Bitcoins?

If I want to buy stocks or invest money I can easily invest with real $. Why would I convert my $ to bitcoins?
If I want to gamble , I can simply gamble on websites that require $ as currency, why would I convert it to bitcoins?
What's the difference between Bitcoins and dolars? What does bitcoin bring to the table that real $ don't, less taxes, more income?

Firstly Bitcoin and money is different, this is a decentralised currency. It's highly secured easy to exchange and it's is more like a commodity if you want a simple understanding more like gold and it's safe to invest in it. Buy and sell it and make profit, just be careful about how and when to invest.

It is not safe to invest in bitcoin. I am referring to the incident of Mt. Gox and Bitfinex. Because of those incidents the price of Bitcoin dropped big time. So you can really say that investing in bitcoin is safe. There is no safe investment in the world. There is always a chance that any investment will fail or decrease. You can't also compare bitcoin to gold. These two are very different in concept and trading. Bitcoin has not yet been adopted widely as gold has been. Gold has been here more than a thousand years.

1935  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What kind of service/business would you create if you had funding and.... on: December 02, 2016, 03:42:37 AM
I wish I could start a faucet business like freebitco.in , they are huge , there are some small ones but they are filled with ads and look horrible. I can even consider faucet rotator . These websites help the new bitcoin adopters to get their first coins as a traction to stay for longer.
I do not see any big income generation possibilities with a faucet business. But if you promote it enough then you may get more chances for good income out of it. Still, you may face heavy competition from industry giants.

I am always just do not want to earn for myself, but always looking to contribute to bitcoin ecosystem. Faucets must be a right choice for that with least funds.
But as long as if you prefer faucet business for a reason, then it must be a right choice. If you promote your faucet intensively then you will earn and you will contribute.

Faucets just tend to come and go. They usually die because of above said reasons. Because of competition as well as no one really cares to view the ads on a faucet, the advertisers or the advertising company doesn't pay faucets that well. If I were to claim some faucets, I don't actually care about the ads on there. I just go get my satoshis. This is the prime problem with Faucets.
1936  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: December 02, 2016, 03:21:26 AM
In my opinion, Bitcoin is the best investment at the moment. I will consider investing in some good altcoins in the future, like Monero, but at the moment I believe Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency to hold.

Yes bitcoin is the best investment for the types of crypto currency. And my investment has a lot more funded for holding it.

But still I have some of my investments backing up and supporting my needs with trading.

And if you want to join some legit and trusted ICO's you may try to invest with Betking. Just click my signature.
No reason to argue about bitcoin as being the best investment because it's pretty obvious now base on the profitability ratio. Some investment could be less risky but the reward is not as big as bitcoin can offer us, so for small investors we have to gamble for bitcoin for bigger reward.

Gambling is not really a good way to invest your money though. It will just eat up your coins and spit misery. Unless you gamble using faucet dust why not? It's safer to use the money elsewhere than gamble it. I learned this the hard way. I lost more than two Bitcoin trying to get back what I lost. I first thought it was a good investment, until I ended up with nothing to show for it.
1937  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much did you spent in the internet using bitcoin? on: December 01, 2016, 06:56:41 AM
I probably spent around $1,000 - $1,500 on the internet using Bitcoin. I used to gamble using it. Sadly, everything was lost in gambling though. Some of the money I used to buy some stuff in the darknet (nothing hardcore like drugs tho). I bought some netflix accounts and NBA accounts too.
1938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: December 01, 2016, 06:43:59 AM
I think no. Unless you are investing in the casino or the house and also when you just gamble with faucets since you get free money. Gambling with your money will only be profitable if you aim in the short run, however the risks are very high since this is gambling. If you want to earn in the long-term I suggest you invest in the house.
1939  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Is mining destroying my PC? on: December 01, 2016, 03:57:48 AM
What your friend told you is correct. Mining using your GPU will generate a lot of heat and continuous stress on your GPU which in effect will shorten the lifespan of your GPU. Everything has an expiration this also includes GPUs. GPUs has can only be used for so long before it eventually breaks down. Because you used it for GPU mining then, it broke down earlier than expected than if it was used for gaming purposes only.
1940  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where I can learn Bitcoin Trading? on: December 01, 2016, 03:21:31 AM
I'm new in trading, I learn from other people experience, I read here about trading, how other people do it.
Thia course from Chris Dunn is very good for beginners like I'm, I advise everyone to take a look, I learned something new.
In modern time if you have the facilities of computer and internet, you do not need to wait for some one to learn from him about trading, there are a lot of tutorial present on youtube from where you can really learn many more about bitcoin, bitcoin tips can also be find on other sites, If you check on google search.

Also, there are plenty of resources on this forum already. You just have to look in the right places. The forum is a very helpful community that can point you in the right direction.

My tip is just to buy cheap and sell high, like everyone else. Tho for me, I bought my Bitcoins a year back. The price was around $350 a piece back then. Now it's on the $700 level, so I doubled my investment already. Which I think is already pretty good. Usually, finance would dictate that your money should earn around 10-20% from your investment meaning you would ROI in 5-10 years from a good investment. I have already ROI from the start, and the 100% increase is already surplus in my case.
