1921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Fiat Will Always Be The Norm on: April 26, 2022, 10:31:10 AM
Quote
Also the media, corporations and governments are still successful in making everyone use FIAT regardless of the inflation that is happening. Come to think on it, people do not see that fiat is the cause of inflation at all.

Fiat money are the legal tender in all countries around the world. The people and the companies are required by the law to use fiat money in their transactions(and to pay taxes). It's not about having a choice of which payment method to use or something.

Quote
More and more inflation is happening with more money being printed all the time. Yet people still demand more services from the government which creates more money to be printed and more inflation.
You are generalizing too much.I don't know about anyone demanding more government services.
There's nothing wrong with the government wanting to provide more services to the people.
The real problem is the budget deficits and the money printing, which is being encouraged by many governments.

Quote
Many people just do not understand that they are encouraging inflation. All these factors play in the role that fiat is here to stay. People just don’t see the problems of fiat nor able to see the benefits of crypto.

Nobody is encouraging inflation. The people simply have no choice, but to use fiat money.
I don't see cryptocurrencies as a 100% protection against inflation.
Inflation in my country is 12.5% and going up,but the Bitcoin price stays at 40K USD and it isn't moving anywhere. The same thing applies to all the altcoins.Do you think that this actual protection against inflation?
1922  Economy / Economics / Re: "I'm afraid that I don't hear a thing" ...Do you guys see any biz op ? on: April 26, 2022, 05:40:58 AM
The only way to get thru the crisis is to work hard.If you are not competitive enough, you will have to work even harder.
You have a defeatist point of view.I don't think that everything is going to collapse and the situation is that desperate.
It seems to me that you are exaggerating this crisis.Things might get worse, but this isn't an excuse for us to fall into desperation. The global economy isn't falling apart and human civilization isn't going to face the Apocalypse(at least not in 2022  Grin).
1923  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best casino other than Stake . com? on: April 26, 2022, 05:20:48 AM
What is a great 100% trusted Crypto casino other than Stake . com? Why is is good, fast payouts, generous bonuses, no ID needed, etc?

Are you just too lazy to look by yourself?Nobody is going to spoonfeed you.
You are at the Gambling forum. There are multiple announcement threads of many casinos.Just take a look by yourself and try them out.You could search for casino review websites(event though most of their reviews are biased, because they are seeking for referral/affiliate commissions).
Why do you think that Stake is the best crypto casino in the world? If you really think that Stake is the best crypto casino, then why would you want to find another crypto casino?Just keep gambling with Stake.

1924  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin continues to decline, what causes it? on: April 26, 2022, 05:05:43 AM
What decline? The current Bitcoin price is sitting at 40K USD.There's no decline.
The price got pumped to 48K USD for a while a few weeks ago,but that was a temporary price bubble.
Last year's October/November price pump to 68K USD was a price bubble. If you think that this was a stable price growth, you are simply delusional. The Bitcoin price is pretty volatile. It goes up and down.We can't expect the price to go always up and never go down.
All those newbie "is this the end of Bitcoin" posts, every time the BTC price drops by a few hundred dollars are getting annoying. Grin
1925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unregulated Trading Platforms on: April 25, 2022, 11:23:40 AM
Hi, just joined group.  I should of searched a little deeper before I invested with a BTC trading group.  Long story short the reason I am here is I need advice if there is anyway to get my funds back that are on a trading platform that will not let me withdraw.  I read quite a few posts before I posted this and what I concluded is:
1. Recovery is next to impossible
2. Do not throw good money after bad on a “crypto recovery company”
3.  No authorities will help not even Coinbase where the transactions were wired from.
Anyway I am sucker who got scammed

You basically answered your own questions.
The only thing you could do is to reveal the scam trading group and/or the scam trading platform,so that other people won't get caught in this scam.
You are not a sucker, but you should've done a proper research before spending any coins on some shady, unknown trading platform. Many people got scammed like you,so you are not the only one. There's no point of having regrets.Just learn from your mistake and move on.
My advise to the newbies is to stick with the most popular and regulated crypto trading platforms. This is just common sense.
Joining some unregulated trading platform increases the risk of getting scammed.
1926  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: avoid scam telegram groups , find useful tools and channels on: April 25, 2022, 10:59:45 AM
So you basically wasted 800 USD just to try out scam telegram groups and see that they don't work?
That's genius. Grin
There aren't good or bad paid crypto trading groups on Telegram/Discord.All paid groups are bad by definition, because they are paid and you don't know what you are getting in return for your money(99% of the time you get nothing).
Just look for free crypto trading groups on Telegram and take their signals, analysis and predictions with a grain of salt.

1927  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is it always about price? on: April 25, 2022, 10:41:22 AM
You already know the answer of this question(that has been asked a million times before).
We have thousands of shitcoins on the crypto space, some are big shitcoins with big market cap and high prices, others are small shitcoins with low prices. The pump&dump investors don't care about utility, fast transaction speed, low fees, good security. They care about the prices going up and making more profits.
The crypto industry "evolved" into casino capitalism.Maybe that's why Satoshi left Bitcoin, years ago.
He didn't want to participate in this "magical investing"/"make 10x profits" type of BS.
1928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 25, 2022, 06:05:32 AM
Great victory for AC Milan against Lazio.A team that is winning with goals in the last minute of the game really deserves to win the Serie A.Unfortunately,I don't think that Milan would survive with this tempo until the end of the season.
Inter completely destroyed Roma, which isn't a surprise. The big surprise was Napoli losing against Empoli with a humiliating defeat.0-2 to 3-2 in 10 minutes. The Napoli goalkeeper did a ridiculous mistake, which helped Empoli to equalize.
Inter won't have any problems against Bologna in the next round, while AC Milan might lose points against Fiorentina on May 1.
1929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First African country adopts Bitcoin as official currency on: April 25, 2022, 05:45:10 AM
I usually don't trust such news, but Bitcoin getting adopted as legal tender by another small and underdeveloped country was pretty much expected.
BTC would never be adopted as legal tender by the big and developed countries, because there's no need for them to adopt BTC.
Good luck to the Central African Republic with this decision.Maybe more African countries would followup and decide to give Bitcoin a chance.Unfortunately the Central African Republic isn't a good place to build crypto mining facilities(not that it matters that much).I really hope that African countries get industrialized and adopt high technologies ASAP.
1930  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for poor people who wanna get some crypto on: April 24, 2022, 10:57:58 AM
If you are coming with the assumption that crypto is going to "multiply your money" then you have a very wrong mindset.
The only truth is that crypto won't make you rich.Crypto trading isn't for you,if you are in a bad financial situation. There's aren't any well paying jobs in the crypto industry for unqualified people.
Just forget about joining the crypto world and focus on finding a real job.I know that 9/5 jobs suck, but you don't have many options.
And forget about Coinbase and any other websites that are giving away free coins. This simply isn't serious.
1931  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance is key on: April 24, 2022, 10:40:45 AM
OK,Bitcoin dominates over all the shitcoins.AND SO WHAT?
Comparing Bitcoin to the shitcoins is like comparing the best professional football club in the world to a bunch of amateur football clubs located in some underdeveloped country. The difference is so big that it makes the comparison pointless.
I thought that you would explain why the Bitcoin dominance is key.Bitcoin dominance is a key to what?
Unfortunately, you don't provide any deep meaning and explanation about why this useless comparison is supposed to be important for all the Bitcoiners around the world.
1932  Economy / Economics / Re: How Capitalism defeated socialism? on: April 24, 2022, 06:11:01 AM
The verdict is in, and contrary to what socialists say, capitalism, with all its warts, is the preferred economic system to bring the masses out of poverty and to make them productive citizens in our country and in countries around the world. Remember this: Capitalism rewards merit, socialism rewards mediocrity. I mean, socialism talking about equality but it is just a beautiful lie , and capitalism is an ugly truth !

I don't know what do you mean by "socialism".Many European countries are "welfare states" and they have many "socialist" elements embedded in their social security systems.
If you are talking about the socialism in Venezuela,Cuba,North Korea and the former USSR,this is more like communism, rather than socialism.
Capitalism is all about protecting the private property and the free market.Communism is about state property and a government-controlled command economy with almost no free markets.
Many socialist countries respect the private property and they have free markets,so I guess that you are oversimplifying a little bit.
The debate about "socialism" vs. capitalism has ended years ago.Capitalism can also be really bad, many capitalist countries are very poor and they can't get out of poverty, even though they are capitalist.
1933  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most rewarding referral system on: April 24, 2022, 05:47:05 AM
Why not all? I mean you can sign up on all casinos which have referral program (almost all) and then spread your referral links on your telegram channel, so you'll have advantages of the referral bonus on all casinos. Usually a new casinos do have interesting referral program since they don't have many players on their sites, probably you can check crashino, 1win, moonbet etc, but beware of the risk of new casinos.

Spamming multiple referral links to casinos seems like a bad move from a marketing perspective.
This guy has a audience on Telegram,he has to keep that audience engaged and active.
I think that promoting multiple casino links to his audience would simply show to them that he is a spammer, who is doing it for the money, rather caring about his followers and providing good content.
If I was a subscriber to a Telegram channel that is related to gambling,I would get bored and unsubscribe,if the channel owner posts referral links of multiple casinos 24/7.There's a high possibility some of the casino that are being promoted to end up being scams.
1934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: “A single bitcoin transaction could power the average US household for a month" on: April 24, 2022, 05:32:03 AM
This is so wrong I can't even bother wasting my time to argue with this BS.
If every BTC transaction could power an average US household for a month, how could the BTC blockchain consume as much electricity as Greece?Greece has a population of around 10 million people, while the USA has the population of more than 320 million people. This doesn't make any sense, but I'm not surprised. All the BTC haters and FUDsters don't make any sense these days. They simply can't create logical theories about how bad Bitcoin actually is(and how good the PoS altcoins actually are).
1935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 22, 2022, 06:10:58 AM
Real Madrid won again, but Benzema missed two penalties.
How many penalties can Real Madrid get in a game?I get it,they are a royal and privileged club,so they have to get at least 2-3 penalties per match. Grin There's no way Real Madrid could lose the first place at this year's La Liga.
Barcelona kinda lost momentum with Xavi. They lost in the Europa League in a humiliating way. They've lost against Cadiz in the last round.Perhaps the players know that they won't win the La Liga,so they don't have any motivation at all.Barcelona won against Real Sosiedad, but they were kinda mediocre.
Xavi desperately needs new players for the next season.I hope that Barcelona will have a more consistent
performance in the 2022/2023 season.
1936  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A simple proposal for an environmental-friendly regulation for Bitcoin mining on: April 22, 2022, 05:45:29 AM
Quote
3) provide a strong incentive to move to places where renewable energy is abundant (Sahara desert, some regions in South America like Patagonia, Brazil and the Altiplano, North American desert regions, Scandinavia/Iceland)

Renewable energy being abundant in the Sahara Desert? Are you kidding me?
Are there any big solar power plants in the Sahara desert?
Do you know why there aren't any big power plants in the Sahara desert?
1.Nobody wants to work in the Sahara Desert.Such big solar power plants will have to be maintained by people.
2.The solar panels will have to be cleaned from all the dust on a daily basis. There is a lot of dust in the desert and there are desert storms as well.Good luck making a solar power plant in the Sahara desert.

Anyway,I'm not going to repeat the same thing over and over again, when it comes to this topic.
All this "environmental-friendly regulation of Bitcoin mining" is a big pile of s*it.
1937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: April 21, 2022, 11:14:30 AM
Magnificent display from Liverpool against Manchester United.Klopp completely destroyed his opponent.
Very interesting game between Chelsea and Arsenal.Lots of goals and Arsenal achieved victory with the help of the Chelsea defenders.Ridiculous mistake at the center of the Chelsea defense for 2-3 and a questionable penalty for 2-4.
Man City didn't have any problem against Brighton. The Premier league will have an exciting end of the season.
1938  Economy / Economics / Re: IMF: War Dims Global Economic Outlook as Inflation Accelerates on: April 21, 2022, 10:34:13 AM
I don't think that the war in Ukraine is the main cause for the global inflation.
The main cause of the inflation is the quantitative easing made by the big central banks during the pandemic.
The "powers that be" in the western world simply use the war in Ukraine as an excuse for the inflation.
There is a way to fight the current inflation-increasing the interest rates, but the Federal Reserve System doesn't want to increase the interest rates, because this will make the US federal debt more expensive.
I know that oil prices are a major factor for the inflation, but the global oil prices were moving in the 110-140 USD range during the war in Iraq(2003-2007) and there wasn't such gigantic inflation everywhere around the world back then. There's something wrong with the global economy.

1939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making e-sports more affordable on: April 21, 2022, 06:01:12 AM
I don't really think that e-sports games(like CS:GO) can be considered gambling games.
Games with paid in-game items aren't gambling, because the players don't play with the expectation of winning anything or making profits. They are buying expensive in-game items,in order to win the game and have some fun,not to make money.Perhaps such games will begin shifting to a more gambling oriented business model.
Anyway, this is good news.More free-to-play game is good news for the average gamer, who is most likely a financially broke teenager, using his mom's credit card to buy in-game items on such games. Grin
1940  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ireland to Ban Political Donations in Cryptocurrencies on: April 21, 2022, 05:37:01 AM

When the war started, I was making a prediction that Bitcoin can get a lot of negative exposure if it will become associated with Russia, seems like my prediction is coming true. On the other hand, it's inevitable that the government will want to restrict the unchecked flow of money via Bitcoin, perhaps Russia just catalyzed it.

It's not about Bitcoin. It's about cryptocurrencies in general.
I wish good luck to the Irish authorities, when they try to impose this new rule. How are they doing to track down all the crypto donations that are being sent to the Irish political parties? There's no way.
Anyway,I don't think that Russia is interested in the elections in Ireland. The Russians are aiming for the bigger targets-The upcoming US elections for the Congress and Senate and the presidential elections in France.
Ireland is just too small and insignificant.
Bitcoin will always get a lot of negative exposure.I hope that some altcoins would also get a part of the negative exposure.Putting all the blame on Bitcoin for the sins of the entire crypto industry is simply stupid.
