I added my idea: University projects (dissertations, masters, bacheleor thesis). This is a long therm thing, but if we have got here any teachers or even university attendants, it would be wonderful if you write your project based on Nxt.
There is one guy who writes his Phd about some Nxt app... There can be many thesis where you programm some Nxt app/add-on..., but I would like to get to the enomical/ecological areas too. There might be serious works based on the PoS, on Nxt, how it could change the world

Yes, but what if there was a way to do it much cheaper? In future only some big organisations in Iceland will be mining Bitcoin by their super machines.
People in past were also sending paper postcards... But now they use emails because it is faster and cheaper.

NXT community, Please think. Every time there is a dicision to be made we tend to hold on to CfB and help us out, 9 out of 10 times he is telling us, the community has to decide. One day CfB will be gone any idea how we gonna do it then. Who will tricker this or that event organize polls or votings etc.. My question is… Do we need some sort of foundation (purely administrative) if so how would be the structure: can we achieve that in a decentralized way? - Chairman (multisig) - Secretary (multisig) - PR - TO (technical officer) - DEV - Member(multisig) - Member - Member Maybe some will kill me now but have to bring it up we cant circle arround it forever, what are the alternatives? This is a great marketing opportunity....can someone please give nakaone some support in this initiative. this is only one of many... there already is starcraft and poker idea, but there will be a huge number of many other online games played for Nxt. If you use raspberry pi's for securing the network, it costs you 100$ per year + 100$ original investment. If whole network can be secured by 10.000 raspberry pi's, then it costs 1.000.000$ per year.
Someone says Bitcoin mining costs 15 million $ per day. Even if he is wrong and it is 1 million $ per day, raspberry pi's are still 365x cheaper (if you use 10.000 of them).
