1941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Price of Bitcoin when you Jumped On-Board? on: May 07, 2013, 11:53:40 PM

A thread/post rating plugin of some sort would add a nice touch.
1943  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin target $50... sell now to avoid losses!! on: May 07, 2013, 03:40:54 PM
Why do people worry so much about the Price of Bitcoin? Just get as many as you can that's the idea. The price is going to fluctuate that's normal, but as long as people are using BTC then they will be worth something. Do people with Millions of dollars USD worry about the Australian exchange rate? Maybe, but who cares they have $1,000,000! Use it wisely and don't panic because that's when you make bad decisions.

1945  Bitcoin / Mining / Why does everyone think Solo Mining is a waste of time? on: May 07, 2013, 04:02:13 AM
Just curious what people's opinions are that have actually tried Solo mining. Most websites do not recommend Solo mining calling it a waste of time. Are there any successful Solo miners out there that believe in it?

Hello I am doing some recreational Bitcoin mining on my Ubuntu Laptop, and got CPUMiner 1.0.2 to work with Bitcoin.cz following this tutorial:

Just out of curiosity, how would I set it up to Solo mine?

Looks great to me. It's unique and serves a valuable purpose. Only thing I would suggest is getting a domain name forward for advertising purposes.

Something like:

RexRexPharmacy dotcom
RexRexDruggist dotcom

Both are available and easy to remember. Congrats on your new site and good luck!

5 Posts really isn't that big of a deal. There are some forums out there that require 20+ posts in order to unlock certain features.
