1941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you favorite dividend paying cryptos? on: May 31, 2018, 01:52:58 PM
I do not have luck yet with with my coins. But may be I will have it if I keep it long time. It is just a few dollars on each purchase that I have gained. I hrsr people talk about thousands they make on coins and from ICO too. I am not lucky yet.

NEO paying gas for it's holders and is one the biggest blockchains with a lot of ICOs and listed on every exchanges + 0 fee for transfer
I regret missing buying Neo when it was below $20. I never knew it has that great value till it started to increase in price. Now it is high for me.
1942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to maximize Bounty campaign awards on: May 31, 2018, 06:51:58 AM

Bounty hunting is something that needs lot of time and efforts to achieve some good rewards. If you want to gain more then you have to join more and more campaigns everyday. I mean you should put yourself into all the possible campaigns that you can do and you do this almost every bounty that you are going to join.

Usually I am joining upto 50-60 bounties a month as that is my threshold of working! I do hit some good bounties around the market an thus get more money out of them.

About the merits :

You need to have good posting habit and talk something which is meaningful. That is all forum needs from you and then people will merit you.  Wink
50-60 bounties a month? This is super achievement. How is that possible for you. You must be working very hard doing this. Do you have rest time for your self. Can you tell me how you succeed here.
1943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hold Bitcoin for long time. on: May 30, 2018, 04:14:34 PM
Hold is Bitcoin for long time, there is no much profit. You know why ?

Because if you only hold Bitcoin your balance will grow up only on USD rate. For example you hold 1 BTC . Current price 7500$. It's might 10k after some day. But you still have only 1 BTC.

Now think you have 1 btc and you convert it into BCH. Example for 1 BTC you get 10 BCH. Rate per bch is 0.1 BTC .

After some day if Bitcoin grow up, At the same time BCH also will grow up.
If bch rate grow 1.5 btc then you will have 1.5 BTC.

But before buy alt coin please select best coin to avoid dump.

So what you think. Hold alt coin or Bitcoin ?
What you are describing is trading and you make it look like it is simple to do. That any body can do it. This is not so. Trading requires training and even with training not every body can still do it. What if the BCH price goes do while btc rises. Answer that question man.
1944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still did not get bounty rewards? on: May 30, 2018, 02:16:50 PM
I read sad stories like this here and hear people narrate their stories too. It always have to do with the myetherwallet. So my thinking is that may be the wallet is difficult for people to use because of entering the contract details. I fell twice to this too and I stopped doing myetherwallet bounties.
1945  Economy / Economics / Re: A few suggestions for profit on the crypto market.. on: May 30, 2018, 07:30:35 AM
buy a token that does not have a lot of volume because its value will soar if already circulating with high volume
Yes, buy cheap tokens will make you profit. But this is not always true. Sometimes the cheap coins do not rise and they turn scam and traders and investors weep over their funds.
1946  Economy / Economics / Re: Good news or bad news... on: May 30, 2018, 07:14:03 AM
Japan is doing all to make sure cryptocurrency succeeds in the world. Whether this news is good or bad is not yet obvious now as it has no impact on bitcoin yet. But with time it will show.
1947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a threat to USD and Pound Sterling? on: May 30, 2018, 04:39:31 AM
Hello guys,

Do you think bitcoin will be a threat to USD and Pound Sterling in the nearest future?

if yes, give an estimated time this can happen.

The US dollar (American Dollar) is used internationally all over the world by many people, I know when I go to purchase something off someone online it is 99% of the time based around the US Dollar. I believe it would take a lot for something as new as bitcoin to even come close to take over the USD. Reason being that bitcoins supply is limited it doesn’t account for population growth and such unlike the USD or GPD.
I do not even know why people keep thinking bitcoin is a threat to any currency except cryptos. May be this people do not understand how bitcoin works that it is a virtual currency and can only be functional with the help of computers and internet. Dollar and pounds are physical cash and can be used by everyone. Bitcoin is even not known through out the world yet like pounds and dollars.
1948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can the Most Powerful Computer on Earth Hack Bitcoin? on: May 30, 2018, 02:36:42 AM
Probably it would not happen, the blockchain technology is very powerful as I guess and they do their best to protect how bitcoin works and how it can protect the users.
There is high trust that cracking and decoding the private key by any computer is not possible. That is why the combination of letters and numbers making up the private key is long. If it is possible the many hackers online stealing petty coins will go for bitcoin at once no matter the cost.
1949  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin's daily price fluctuations getting smaller and smaller? on: May 29, 2018, 08:37:22 PM
By saying that Bitcoin's daily price fluctuations is getting smaller and smaller you mean that the price does not move sharply up or down enough to make people get scared. This is a good sign for those who are holding. But that does not mean bitcoin price is at a standby and does not move that enough. $200-$400 movement each day is enough volatility for some people.
1950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: May 29, 2018, 04:19:14 PM
This is a hard saying for bitcoin to even rise back to that high price again now. Those who bought at 19,000 are in great loss at this time and will be having prayers to wish it back up. It was a trade error for anyone buying at that time. Too bad.
1951  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do We Need To Change Bitcoin Logo ₿? on: May 29, 2018, 01:27:41 PM
Why change what works? The symbol is not in any way a problem for the development of bitcoin and should not attract any attention. Bitcoin has other issues to be worried about, not symbol.
1952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Crypto-community in the mist of World War 3. on: May 28, 2018, 08:42:59 PM
Trump will not be that stupid to go into war with either N.Korea or Iran, not even any of the super powers because of his numerous investments which are all over the continents. He is not just a president. He is a cunny businessman who knows how to protect his investment. Now about bitcoin, if a war comes bitcoin will be the last thing on peoples minds. Survival will be the focus.
Well, he recently moved some war ships to the seas of China when the supposed meeting with Kim was cancelled. This even generated another issue with China. So why did he do that if he has no intention of going to war? Was it just a tactic?
Yes, i think it is tactics. Like the Pharmacist said, it is political posturing from Trump. He won't mean a war. War has cost America a lot of money in the past. The worst president Trump will do is to start a prolonged cold war with North Korea with more sanctions..

Am not sure this thread is the right place to make that request. Why not move it to exchange section to get more attention. Here is link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0
1955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more risky? Bitcoin or bank investment? on: May 28, 2018, 06:11:08 AM
Bitcoin is indeed risky. But bank investments are risky too. In our country (coz I'm not sure if this exist in other countries). When you have a large amount on your account they will call you and ask you if you want to invest, minimum of 20,000 Php (or 400 USD). They will propose some investment plans where there is a choice of low, medium, or high risk investment. When you choose the high risk there is a chance to lose or gain 100% of your investment (Medium is 75% and low is 50% if I remember it right). It doesn't make sense to me, it sounds like a scam, they will invest using your money and you don't have any control to it. That is why I like bitcoin more, coz Though it is risky and it's very volatile, you have full control on your investment.

What do you guys think?
Bank investment do not pay ad.much as bitcoin does. We do expect both of them to have the same level of risk. So we should know that bitcoin is more risky than putting your money in a bank. Banks do not even pay much as interest any more. But we should know that not everyone can take that risk bitcoin has.
1956  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we teach children to have businessman mentality or be successful employee on: May 28, 2018, 04:31:30 AM
I will never teach my children to become a successful employee. Employee is for people who to not have the ball to risk their life and bring money back. Being a businessman gives us more oppportunity to become success in our real life
I agree with you man. Why teach children to become successful employees and why not employers of labour? Been an employee makes you have a mind of a slave. You can't be rich like that in life and you will keep working for others to make them rich.
1957  Economy / Economics / Re: Wise thing to do with your savings. on: May 27, 2018, 05:37:18 PM
I see that many of you actually liked the concept of 20 % method wherein you allot 20% of your earnings to be saved as emergency fund.
So I was thinking, if that 20% allotted will be invested in a time deposit kind of account, will it still be possible to earn as much or invest it in cryptocurrency? Or maybe just let the money sleep until such time you will need it?
What will be a wise kove to do with the noney you have saved up?
20% or 10%, you need to make a strong decision to save that percentage, and it should be before spending a dime from your earnings.. Otherwise nothing would be saved at the end of each salary circle. I know many people will say they don't earn enough to save anything from it. That is not a good excuse not to save. You have to try and do this.
1958  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price manipulation on: May 27, 2018, 02:45:51 PM
I read that they are investigating criminal price manipulations over Bitcoin. Manipulation of prices is really possible ? This happened before ?
Yes the news is true and that is in America. It is a good thing for that investigation to go on because of the many scams in cryptos. At least this development will encourage people to trust and invest more in cruptos.
1959  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hello traders on: May 25, 2018, 07:03:55 PM
Some says that to be a trader is very risky, if it is really risky why there are still traders and more are becoming interested to be like this?  Anything that you can share and advice to a newbie like me is appreciated.
That is true about the risk. But that is the same with every business. There is none without risk even hawking bread or oranges come with risk. You can get hit by a car while hawking your goods. Well, with my little ability to buy and hold cryptos I realize that there is risk in trading these coins. And when we see sharp movement of price up and down we for sure see how the price instability makes the risk more obvious.
1960  Economy / Economics / Re: Each country has its own crypto currency! on: May 25, 2018, 03:57:00 PM
If countries issue their own crypto-exchange system USAcoin, CHINAcoin, ROSSIAcoin, GBcoin, etc. Do you think which of them will initially be expensive and will show growth?
If it comes to what your speculation is then there won't be a difference between this and having fiat money. The politicians will become fully involved in crypto and so much manipulation will become obvious. I do not think this will be a good thing and idea to happen.
