Try auction them on the auction forum?
1942  Other / Off-topic / Re: Algorithmic Thinking on: August 26, 2014, 02:52:39 PM
For those asking about is OP is talking:

https://www.coursera.org/course/algorithmicthink

And since it is the first time the class is offered, I guess no one could give an advice about that.

And I guess you would find more usefull answers in the class forum
1943  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin Bingo on: August 26, 2014, 02:43:18 PM
There are several casinos with hundreads of games, you can see by yourself:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0

But I doubt you will find many bingos, because they would require an online room with a good ammount of people in.

And since the people that play bing more are old people, you won't find many bingo players in bitcoin casinos
1944  Other / Off-topic / Re: pollution - a global issue on: August 26, 2014, 11:03:40 AM
It won't.

Many countries want the waste killing people in distant countries, instead of make a chain of production with less chemical waste, while many people in India and China are rich because of the waste industry
1945  Other / Off-topic / Re: Say "Good Bye" to HDD. on: August 26, 2014, 10:54:57 AM
Even with SSD being significantly cheaper than before... It would still be way to costy. With 4TB of SSD you could possibly even buy a NVidia Titan Z GPU Smiley
So exactly what would you need 4 TB SSD storage for? Stop storing so many "movies".  Tongue
500GB would be perfect I assume to make it your main drive. This is enough (!) room for the OS and most programs. Then a 1-2TB second HDD would do for anything else.
The prices still have to come down if you ask me.

Many data science & statistic stuff and others generates a ton of data, that will need to be accessed at a fast speed.

So there is demand for the SSD high capacity disks, even if they are more expensive
1946  Other / Off-topic / Re: Smartphones set out to decipher a cryptographic system on: August 25, 2014, 06:39:11 PM
I guess try touse the Bitcoin network for it would be more promissing. Most Smartphones barely can suport day-to-day heavy use without lagging, and most smartphones won't survive such heavy use

I haven't claimed yet and it's Sunday night, got a little time to browse the forum and post. Until how late can I keep posting and finally claim? A quick response would be lovely Smiley

Stunna said he will pay in 6 hours at most(7 am UT time of the 18th). Browse back to see

I would claim as fast as I could
1948  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin now looks like a mature technology on: August 17, 2014, 10:36:42 PM
Bitcoin is still beta.

I wouldn't call it mature until at least the 1.0 version of the bitcoin-qt.

And compare Bitcoin with things like gift cards and miles programs is so absurd that doesn't deserve an answer. At least don't be too obvious when you troll
1949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Incredible Digital Currencies Course by the University of Nicosia - MOOC on: August 17, 2014, 10:30:19 PM
If it free 100% sure I will take it.

The course offers some kind of statement of accomplishment?
1950  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN PRICE UNDER $500!!!! is it time for panic selling + Buying :? on: August 17, 2014, 10:24:45 PM

1951  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 17, 2014, 10:18:45 PM
Double bottom or bull trap?

I guess bull trap, but let's see
1952  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newbie on: August 17, 2014, 10:01:08 PM
If you don't want buy on exchanges or with localbitcoins, then you can go to games and round to get your first mBTC from giveaways. Way better than faucets.

Signature campaigns are always a good suggestion. If you have the time, try and build up your Primedice faucet (link in my signature). it isn't consistent like posting, but it can earn you a good amount. Got me 0.075 today.
How did you get 0.075 from the faucet in one day? Shocked

Guess happy hour + fuckton of luck on the dices
1953  Other / Meta / Re: Recieve message when topic moved? on: August 17, 2014, 09:52:18 PM
Doesn't all the moved topics appear in gray as MOVED: <topic tittle> at least for a while?
1954  Other / Meta / Re: So... how do you deal with a problem-child? on: August 17, 2014, 09:48:12 PM
The trust system is not moderated, so only way to get rid of negative trust is reaching an agreement with whoever gave you negative trust. Mods won't interfere, if it is what you looking for.
1955  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling Bitcointalk Accounts 40% sale with proof of legit ownership. on: August 17, 2014, 09:40:31 PM
I guess I'll buy the full member, PM me.
Look few posts above yours and be sure to use escrow as OP seems to have turned rogue.
Best not to trade with user until he clarifies his position on what happened in that trade...

Strange, because he made some deals without escrow and with no problems.

Hope no one gets gumbled again
1956  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: August 17, 2014, 09:29:21 PM
Changes are coming to the signature campaign. Will work on getting payments sent within next 12 hours and then make an announcement once I've decided what I'd like to adjust. Will update main post in twelve hours.

Announcements announcing another announcement in X time is enough to make me worried for X time.

Hope you can find a good deal to everyone.

And I think it will be the fastest payout ever made by PD
1957  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 15, 2014, 06:57:12 AM
It's sad and annoying to see that this big drop wasn't enough for some people. They try to push us further down.
If it's up to these idiots they'd take us down to 10 dollars. They don't care if they destroy the whole Bitcoin economy in the process.

There is no reason to sell anymore at the moment. Those who wanted to sell did so already. The pressure is gone.
This is pure manipulation and idiot sheep following, afraid of another crash.

Bitcoin won't die because of some falls, otherwise it would be dead already.

We came from the 400's not long time ago, if can't remember
1958  Economy / Speculation / Re: Rate of retail adoption causing falls? on: August 15, 2014, 06:51:01 AM
Banking fine not sinking in public eyes = people willing to buy stuff even when it is not absolutely necessary. Then they will buy stuffs with the hoarded bitcoin they have, after all everything is safe and they can get more money to rebuy the Bitcoin anyway.

Banks failing = people see that their money is not safe on banks, and they will see all the holes is the economic system, then go to bitcoin to protect themselves, not to buy things they don't really need.

Think that was what he meant with the tweet.
1959  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: August 15, 2014, 06:20:36 AM

Also, are we exploring an option of paying out people in a crypto-currency of their choice, this might be a winner!

PrimeDice only accepts Bitcoin deposits, so I guess no way to pay in other cryptos.

Also people are abusing the fact that posts here are paid too, so I would either self-moderate this thread to remove all non-essential post or just make posts made in this thread not claimable.

Also the best way to reduce "spam"(= too much money going to signature camaign, as I can see by Stunna's overall attitude) is at least for a moment close the doors for new guys, then try new ideas and make a purge on the spam guys.

I'm not sure if split the group among pay per post people and pay by referral people might be the best, because it might create some  animosity among the users.
1960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EBay Payments Unit in Talks to Accept Bitcoin on: August 15, 2014, 06:09:53 AM
Coincidence we get cheap coins just before the news?

I don't think so.

At least we have some light to the end of the downwards in price.
