1941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin banking system on: February 10, 2020, 12:20:39 AM
As long as the existence of fiat is there, the banks will not be disappear even if bitcoin is doing well today. Traditional money is hard to beat and so the banks. People wanted their money to be secured by centralized organzations. And to think that bitcoin is a decentralized thing, there are still people who are afraid of using it. Anyway, there are banks who are bitcoin friendly and joined the blockchain already where in we can purchase bitcoin to them.

On the other hand, we all know that bitcoin is fully unregulated and banks were not. One should be ready for any risks losing investments with btc.
1942  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: XRP Price to $14 - Any thoughts? on: February 09, 2020, 03:43:10 PM
Lahat naman ay posibleng mangyari dito sa cryptocurrency world. Maaari namang maabot ng xrp ang $14 pero hindi pa sa ngayon. Maybe in the next few years. Huli kong naabutan n price nito sa market ay 25php. I bought some of it last month noong 10 php eto ang it is so good na nag iimprove ang price because it reached 14php now. Honestly, I am not a pro believer of xrp before but I wanna try to invest with it and so far so good naman ang gains.
1943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's IP address found on: February 09, 2020, 05:01:53 AM

Received: from c-68-57-205-126.hsd1.il.comcast.net
EHLO [96.207.31.1])
   [68.57.205.126]

i checked other emails, but there is tor. but this twp looks like real
http://diyhpl.us/~bryan/irc/bitcoin-satoshi/email-p2presearch-2009-02-12-141802.txt

Move on. We can't really say it's his own IP add. Or even if he really  used that IP, then what now? Let Satoshi lead  his own life now, we can not get any gains from finding his IP address. And come to think of it, Satoshi wants to be anonymous. Don't you think he did not guaranteed to remain his identity a secret one? Digging his ip is useless.
1944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: February 08, 2020, 01:48:27 PM
Oh well, I was thinking about quitting or when to stop gambling. Since I play for two purposes:
for fun and for gains.
If that two reasons I am holding has been deminished like it is not fun to gamble anymore and I am losing much that I think it isn't healthy anymore, then I think I should stop gambling by then. I know it's hard to say those things since we will go back and play but if we have determination to stop gambling, then we can.
1945  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Investment on: February 07, 2020, 08:07:19 AM
Almost two years of investing in cryptocurrency, I can say that I did not regret it. Let's be honest, it aids our financial status. I admire your journey, mate. In fact, putting up a team isn't that easy. I know because we are planning to build a team, too (together with my brothers). Just like you, we will combined our knowledge as well as our funds to do some tradings.

We are in a practice stage right now before doing some actual trades. We have a goal everyday to make sure we are ready enough to do tradings. Hope we can make a success trades like your team.
1946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has bitcoin done for you? on: February 07, 2020, 07:11:59 AM
You knew bitcoin since you were a kid, OP? Nice. I knew bitcoin just two years. My story with bitcoin isn't that special but bitcoin is one of the best things that made my life meaningful and adventurous. Who would have thought that I can be a part of this powerful trend, bitcoin? If you're asking what bitcoin has done for me? Countless things, it helped me to realized that there is a new technology=new hope and new opportunity.
1947  Economy / Gambling / Re: How To Win 0.2 BTC From 0.8 BTC Balance In Dice Fast - In 10 Minutes on: February 07, 2020, 03:37:16 AM
5-10% increases on win for that payout 49x is very risky. Though i am using that strategy for a week now, it wasn't working for a long term used. I usually set it only as 3% increased on loss with base bet of 20sats. It goes deep rolls i had experienced 350 reds on that so needs a huge bank roll. And i don't often used that strategy maybe just thrice a day. Anyway, remember that there is no working strategy in a long term run for gambling.
1948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Usage Among Merchants Is Up on: February 07, 2020, 01:48:18 AM
Pro bitcoin payments by Merchants are increasing. That's a good sign for adoption, yeah. I remembered one Merchant I got a chance to talk to him for a few minutes. I ask him how's the progress for bitcoin payments. And yeah, the answer is probably same like other Merchant's owners. It wasn't yet  often used. And that our countrymen isn't yet ready to spend it thus still majority, considering it as a store value than of spending it as a payment.
1949  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: MGA DAPAT IWASAN NG MGA NEWBIE(IWAS SCAM) on: February 07, 2020, 12:15:53 AM
When i thought that I knew some networking, doubling your money was totally scam, nabiktima naman ako ng cloud mining sites.  Sad Actually, marami ang ganitong scenario even the smart person can actually fall for some "new" scam tactics. Well, lesson learned na ito sa mga nabiktima like me who fall for that cloud mining. Hindi na din ako basta basta nag ki click lang ng mga links (possible suspicious phishing links, etc) lalo na at nakasalalay ang data and crypto stored coins na nasa phone.
1950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling websites need to add self-control functionality! on: February 06, 2020, 08:02:22 AM
Putting up such limits? I never heard of such idea like this but I am in favor of this suggestion by OP. I was losing my control in gambling, I would admit that. But the only one who can fight that uncontrollably greediness is ourself. It makes sense why in gambling site, there is a setting for stop profit and stop on lose. It can be useful to one if we put our goal on that setting. It somehow helps to control ourself in unhealthy emotions.
1951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Regularization in Different Countries on: February 06, 2020, 06:28:26 AM
Dear Community in 2020 How many chances of Bitcoins Regularization in Different Countries.
While few countries banned bitcoin, there are also bitcoin friendly countries that are open for regulating bitcoin. With so many issues of bitcoin, each government is doing some reviews and study to protect their countrymen.

Quote
Bitcoin Has now more than 10 Years old. But in most of the countries it is still illegal.Due to Government Behaviour most
Exchanges and Projects are not allowing people to participate in the said Projects.Even Running Exchanges are Banning The people and not Returning Funds. We should start the campaign in favour Of Bitcoin.

Yeah, bitcoin is more than 10 years now but can't you see there is still some unsolved issues that were seen by some of the countries that is why until now, it is not fully accepted by some? It is because the reputation of bitcoin is not fully established yet.

Anyway, By which campaign are you suggesting here to promote bitcoin?
1952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most of ALTCOINS are dead or worthless? on: February 06, 2020, 04:03:34 AM
Definitely, creating more altcoins is not profitable these days. Investors are wise choosing which altcoins to be hold and buy that is why most of the altcoins in the market were being left behind and worthless. And yeah, they created coins for fund raising without any serious goal, real products and good purpose which makes the altcoins being useless at the end.

Seriously, devs are easily creating coins or tokens using erc20 by ethereum blockchain and that makes the market more polluted because most of them were not really contributing any significant use to the crypto market.
1953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WINNING THE GAME AGAINST BAD PROJECTS on: February 06, 2020, 02:10:13 AM
By safe zone you mean holding coins for a long term? Well, that's an old practice that even I myself still doing until now. Bad projects can be spotted so we can avoid investing to such. Also, diversifying coins is good if you know how to take risk management. I agree that selecting well established coins for long term holding is somehow better than joining and buying coins with unsure outcome or profits.
1954  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Turning 0.005 BTC to 1 BTC? Trading Journal | Currently 50% profit in 5 days on: February 06, 2020, 12:02:05 AM
I was kinda interested in your trading since I am also a Bitmex trader. There are few questions I am going to ask;
  • What % leverage are you using?
  • You trade daily or how many trades you are doing in a day? You already gained 50% for 5 days and that's a good trades actually.
  • What indicators are you using?

You made a good profits and good trades, hope I can do that way too since I do some losses and recovery but gaining 50% profit within 5 days showed how you do good in reading analysis.
1955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Price to $14 - Any thoughts? on: February 05, 2020, 09:28:39 AM
For now, XRP will hard to reach that price. Ever since I knew XRP, I only saw it as $0.8-$1/xrp and after that it hardly pump that high until now. Though it is moving forward and doing good performance now, investors are losing interests in XRP unlike before that the hype about it was really hot. Anyway, I still uses xrp because of it's fast transactions and I also hold some of it. If speculations will happen to reach that even at least $5-$10, then I only hope for that.
1956  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull and bear market. on: February 05, 2020, 07:09:17 AM
There is a bull and bear market. In which market is it hypothetically possible to make more money? In which of these two markets do people usually make a profit? And how to determine the beginning and end of one of the markets?

Have you ever heard about Margin Trading?
You can even gain profits from both of bear and bull market. You can actually determined profitable trends when you know how to read technical analysis. But that's a bit complicated so if you are not that knowledgeable about margin trading, the best to gain money is by doing some long trades. If the market is in bear, then you buy btc and other coins and wait for the bull market. That's the basic.
1957  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Methods that fraudsters use to scam people on: February 05, 2020, 05:15:08 AM
I remembered my dumb movements before. It was related to KYC because I have signed up to that mining website and I got hacked. Scammers and hackers are really everywhere I advice you to not use only one password to most of your accounts. Also, there are tons of emails using popular names about claiming prizes, etc. Do not fall for this and do not easily click their provided link.

And about that chips inserted to the public charging station, I have read that news before and they can really access your personal wallet and stole your coins because they can still your data. Check this out.

1959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A clue on how to make them see that bitcoin isn't a scam on: February 05, 2020, 03:22:45 AM
Here's how you can show that bitcoin isn't a scam thing:
"Self proof"
Simply show your own bitcoin. Tell your own story, how was the process and the progress. Then they can simply look the positive side of it if they can see the success outcome from you. That's how I usually do within the family members who are "really" interested about buying and investing btc.
1960  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Advantages of Imtoken Version 2.0! on: February 05, 2020, 01:52:11 AM
Sa madaling salita para itong coins.ph wallet/exchange dahil pwede tayong mag store ng maraming coins including the erc20 tokens and pwede na din nating itrade ito within the Imtoken. The only difference (correct me if Im wrong) is that kapag magca cash out tau just like Binance, we will still transfer it to the local exchange or wallet like Coins.ph. Anyway, advantageous itong Imtoken and looking forward to have smooth transactions dahil nai download ko n ito ngayon.
