Quote
Debonneville was starting to discover that Pierce had not only lied to Debonneville about the Yantis Stock Repurchase, but also that Pierce had benefited personally to the detriment of Debonneville from the Salyer and Maslow sale of stock. Of course, Debonneville was shocked to learn that Pierce had sold any of Pierce’s stock in IGE…

…On July 14, 2006, in an apparent attempt to convince Debonneville that his interest in IGE was becoming worth less and less money, Debonneville was sent an article regarding a crackdown on the sale and purchase of game items for cash in Korea. The implication was that IGE’s recent acquisition of Itemmania, a Korean online house, was going to be a failure. In hindsight, it appears that this was just another one of Pierce’s attempts to manipulate Debonneville into selling his stock to Pierce for a less than fair value, certainly for less than Pierce realized on the sale to Maverick. Today, it is likely that this may in fact be IGE’s most valuable remaining asset…

So yeah, innocent until proven guilty, case dismissed, therefore innocent. Unless you know of other evidence?

Also, I might note, his moral character and sexual tendencies, particularly at age 17-19, doesn't say much about his honesty and trustworthiness at age 34. He doesn't strike me as someone stuck in the past:

http://web.archive.org/web/20080202014535/http://virtuallyblind.com/2008/01/30/ige-pierce-debonneville-complaint/

Quote
The fifty-seven page Complaint alleges that Pierce “has taken advantage of Debonneville on numerous occasions including … stealing shares that should have been given to Debonneville, denying Debonneville the right to sell his stock, and excluding Debonneville from a $20,000,000 stock sale which benefited only Pierce.”

I guess reneging on doling out $20M to a partner is not akin to reuniting $275M to thousands of strangers.

BTW, I strongly suggest reading the entire article I duly linked to get further up to speed, otherwise you may miss where Jonathan Yantis came into play.

Thanks, I saw your post in the other thread about Brock Pierce.
Did you know the new Gox will be adding exchanges for LTC, Feathercoin, and Child porn?

Edit:
Of course Brock Pierce claims he was completely innocent during those wild parties:

Pretend you're at a party in your late teens/early 20s, and there's a slew of drugged up naked girls of various ages strolling around. How do you NOT fuck the 16 year old's tight pussy? Or, are those into gay sex immune to fucking lads under the age limit?

Back in the 80s, I had the pleasure of working with a just 17 year old opening gay guy whose BF was 33. The 33 year old was a business man, of which would easily come across as not gay. The 17 year old openly discussed parties he attended in the Chicagoland area where other young boys had sex with overage men, going into great detail on how many times they cum up their asses.

Prior to associating with the 17 year old, of which I attended the Chicago Gay Parade with, I was not versed in the going ons in unsaid community. It wasn't till I lived in Nashville and had another friend that is bi did I get reintroduced in the going ons.

To be motherfuckin' clear, we are discussing whether or not a paedo- associated with the former Mt Gox is appropriate or not. BTW, there's more than one involved.

Questions: How many rednecks, some of which have blogs with millions of readers, are going to embrace Bitcoin once they get wind of the above? Moreover, how many will kick Bitcoin to the curb as fodder for their reader base? Did you forget about mainstream media? Do you honestly believe the exchange rate is going to climb back up to its early highs when this shit hits the tabloids? What the fuck were they thinking when they put such person in position? They couldn't pull one viable candidate outta their ass (no pun intended) to fill said capacities?

Alright, any evidence of child abuse?

This forum has a search feature. Insert (no pun intended) Brock Pierce.

8, & 9) Brock Pierce was part of a dot-com "company" that burned through $60 Million before going bankrupt. The parties were so wild that boys as young as 13 sued over charges of child rape.

Any evidence of fraud? Or just an entrepreneur trying to ride the dot-com bubble?

I'm honestly not sure how to define "fraud" when you are living in an expensive mansion (with two older partners) and inviting young boys to parties who show up because they are expecting to be movie stars.
The next morning they wake up with a hangover and an unusual pain in their ass.

Is that technically fraud?

Long Dong Johnson and Skropenis may dub it simply as mining.

6) no more debt to creditors in return for 16.5%!?!?

That's not what I'm reading... They are saying customers will slowly be made whole from trading fees. Some people said this would take 30 years, but according to my own projection, more like 2-4 years.

If Mt Gox profited $1M a month and used all that profit toward paying off a $275M debt, you're looking at 275 months in paying off said dept in $. In BTC, if/when BTC rises, much longer it'll take.

the SUNLOT plan is awful in it's original and revised form. it should not be adopted by the creditors of MTGOX.

Please, please explain why.

AFAIK, no one has been able to explain why Sunlot's plan is awful. All I see is statements like OP's above, never explaining WHY liquidation is preferrable.

1) they are buying mtgox for 1btc (token)
2) they lock up btc for a year
3) from what i understand they will USE CREDITOR FUNDS to investigate and pursue possible stolen coins.
4) they have no experience with running any exchange and would be not much better than Mark himself
5) 16.5% for being compensated for any and all unrecoverable assets of MtGox? (their expertise is worth 80%+ of equity!?!? for what)
6) no more debt to creditors in return for 16.5%!?!?
7) offer NO money or investment of their own into this venture

do i go on?

is it better than liquidation? hard to tell. but, much better offers can be made.

8, & 9) Brock Pierce was part of a dot-com "company" that burned through $60 Million before going bankrupt. The parties were so wild that boys as young as 13 sued over charges of child rape.

Of which has been in the news as of late.

Gox is alive?
Are there any other sources to verify this, or currently just the one .pdf?

Regarding the issue of trust, it's a simple matter. Who'd you rather have decide the fate of MtGox and your missing funds? Karpeles, crypto-clueless Japanese lawyers, or Bitcoin entrepreneurs with a record of experience in the crumbling financial world? Hmmm, tough choice.

It's worst than you think! How about entrepreneurs with records of fraud and experience in the crumbling financial world opting to carry over said expertise over to the cryptocurrency realm? The only thing left to add is Disney. Oh, wait...
1952  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New Official AMT Thread on: April 29, 2014, 06:38:45 PM
I am contacting Bitmine.ch management, they seem like very nice people there. The attacks AMT has made on me are uncalled for, and I am sure making sure they won't go unnoticed.  Why is AMT taking everything out on me because another customer broke their window? The logic makes no sense.

I don't believe for one second that any Bitcoiner broke out Josh's window. Joshua Zipkin is staying at his parent's home, and probably was one of Harrison Zachariah Zipkin's disgruntled clients that broke the window if such did occur. Josh's better half resides in Bulgaria, of which I'm not posting her Facebook page... but, it's easy to find.

Any way to take the bitcoins out of the U.S. ? Tax Free?

If I were part of the NSA, I would make several accounts on this forum so that later I can start innocent threads with similar titles so that I track those who reply with interesting concepts.

Get real, the only reason people are fellating him is because hes big into Bitcoin. He could kill a family and everyone would still suck his d*ck because OMG CHARLIE <3s BITCOIN SO HE GETS A PASS

I, for one, would have no problem exposing ANY Bitcoiner in the higher hierarchy. Case in point, speaking about sucking dick, Brock Pierce, who's planning on overseeing the new Mt Gox, was accused and jailed for the same thing that Bruce Wagner was accused of, but never charged or jailed. The pressure was so overwhelming at the time that BW opted to leave the community. Now, we're embracing (no pun intended) some dude that's 10s Xs worst in re. the same accusations, not to mentions how he reneged in paying his partner millions while now in bed (figuratively, I'm sure) with one of his ex-rivals who, BTW, is part of the Save Mt Gox makeup (not sure if pun intended or not).

I bet we all can't wait for the day when we overhear strangers talking about a paedo- running that Bitcoin funny money exchange. Don't think for a second it won't happen. Far-fetched? Well, remember those who don't like to use the word fuck penned "Duck Mt Gox!"? Guess what? It happened!

And, you thought Mt Gox I was a laughing stock, wait till you get your fill of K2.

You've spend 200 days on the forum?  Shocked
I'm not pleased with the milestone post. It should have been something spectacular.

I echo the latter sentiment, but at the time I was in exposing-another-scammer mode, feeling it was more important to the community.

Which scammer did you expose ? and congrats on 20Kth  post .

1959  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BITCOINTALK MODERATOR EXPOSED AS THIEF! BE WARNED! on: April 29, 2014, 05:00:55 AM
I didn't even bother reading the full OP (Sorry)
But if it indeed is true, send your claims to support or one of the global mods ASAP.
Good Luck!

It's true, for davout even thought he found a way to scam be outta the 1,132 BTC I had on InstaWallet of which now resides in one of his fat BTC wallets.

Cleverly, davout had Boussac start the InstaWallet claims thread so that later when they lock it, of which they just did a couple days ago, it wouldn't look so suspicious if he, as staff, would have done such.

There's a full investigation in process now, and I don't want to hear a single person crying in the coming days with Bitcoin-Central goes belly-up for the final time. I starting warning you over a week ago that shit was goin' to hit the fan if I wasn't made whole. What the fuck did InstaWallet opt to do? Lock the claims thread.

Paymium received a $400K USD VC from Gilitt, and of the five entities started with the use of said VC, only Bitcoin-Central remains, albeit on ultra-shaky ground.

Bitcon-Central.com (.net) are in David Francois' name.

Needless to say, but I'm the only person standing in between whether Bitcoin-Central remains as a viable entity or bites the dust in coming days. Everybody better think about that good and hard, for I'm tired of fuckin' around.

Currently, I have half a dozen people who've emailed me all kinds of proof and shit associated with Paymium's principals, and it saddens me to see what other names are on their list.

davout claims he won't release the name of the independent auditor of InstaWallet for some half-baked reason, when in reality there fuckin' wasn't one. The InstaWallet/Bitcoin-Central "hacks" were inside jobs, and the only people who probably haven't figured it out yet is the French Police.

Well...
May be I misinterpreted the communication of this group though the media, but I think one of your promises was to be as transparent and verbose as humanly and/or professionally possible/allowed.
But I am yet to receive my very first "information package" on the email address I used to sign up.
All I know for a fact that some people with questionable/unclear histories/intentions want to do something with Gox if the Japanes court allows. And they are sweating the deal by promising they will try to recover all  losses.
And then there is this shadowy talk on these forums about "various things are in motion under the radar, more comes later". -> Not really transparent and verbose if you ask me. Tongue
We should be sending something to your email soon.

Here's a press release, hot off the presses! http://www.savegox.com/press/Gox_Creditor_Settlement_Press_Release.pdf
