Point nb 2. Having account on a gambling platform is like having online wallet. You should be able to access your founds anytime you need them without waiting period even if it is only 2 hr

Already told you our plans about banking system and how we plan to act about that on the future, there's no need to keep battling on this point atm.

If you allow me I'll just make a quick comment about that point 2: If you go to Betfair or any other online casino not using Bitcoin, when you request the withdrawal you need to wait aprox 24h to have the transaction processed to a web wallet (via skrill, neteller, wtv,...), the same applies for direct wire transfer, and then you need additionally more 3~5 days before the bank withdrawal is processed and funds ready on your account. Totaling, the process takes approx 1 week and that's (on our opinion) the meaning of bitcoinpunter's second point.

When you request a withdrawal on BetBTC you'll have your funds on average, available in 2 hours and I re-assure that we are working to reduce that time-frame.

Thank You

Our working plan for tomorrow is scheduled to start preciselly with that.
Should have that info available by the end of the weekend featured not only on this topic but on the site itself Wink

Funds are currently stored on trezor, but it's spreaded accross multiple addresses (single wallet)

One of biggest address can be found here - https://blockchain.info/address/1G5VGGLBYjLtaGRGBwySojhLiU4suDdPJs
You can see it's only touched to process withdrawals - it will always be like this with maximum transparency cause we will never mess with user's deposits.

We had little delay processing today's withdrawals requests. (just few hours)
All withdrawal will be processed in few minutes. Done

Is that means withdrawal on your site are not automatic?
That is correct. All funds are stored in cold wallets that prevent leaks from our wallets, and all the withdraws are audited.
However, the timeframe for withdraw process is maximum of 24h, which we are trying to short yet.

It is not automatic, due to that reasons, we do not think the trade off between some waiting period with the possibility of being hacked, pays off, that is way we implemented this way.
In the future, everything can change, or at least part.

Auto withdrawal and anonymous user accounts that's standard on every btc casino and dice site. Otherwise nobody will trust you.
Auto withdrawal = trust   Manual withdrawal = 1st step to scam

I was going to brink more coins to the site because it's great but now I'm going to pull what I already deposited and move it to fairlay or just bet on directbet

I hope you will implement hot wallet one day.Good Luck

As we already told, we prefer the security rather than the immediate cashier (that implies having keys / wallet info on the server => much more likely to suffer hacking attempts).
At the moment, on the unlikely situation that our server / website got compromised, the only thing hackers would get would be an encrypted database and the software itself.
It won't be a good deal for us of course, but at least as we save multiple backups per day it would be a matter hours before we come back online with all the coins safe, the same won't happen to a site with auto-payments where at least the hot wallet would have been wiped. Why do you think many casinos open bankruptcy and close doors / go scam after getting hacked ?

Taking maximum 24h (2 or 3 hours on average) to process a manual payment is nothing related to a site being a scam, with this we are not excluding any possibility and is even likely that we may implement automatic payments in few weeks/months when/if we think the right time has come, till there we guarantee you that all is processed with the maximum security in the shortest possible time-frame .

About the anonymous user accounts feature you referred, we will work out with automatic user sessions based on the machine on the future, however please be advised that actually you already can be anonymous since you can register using a drop mail just to confirm the account and that's the only "personal info" cause we won't require anything besides mail and pass

Thanks
1944  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetBTC | The Dedicated Bitcoin Sports Betting Exchange | No Betting Limits on: January 16, 2015, 12:34:47 AM
I was going to register but it requires my email address, why?

The email address is the ID you will use to authentic yourself in our system.
Why email? Because if you need to recover the password, we will send you a new one for the email provided, future withdraw confirmations, things like that.

Nevertheless, you can use on your own responsability a drop mail, or something similar, just for a first registration, however, it will be your responsability to save your password wisely, as it will not be possible for us to recover, neither to send you a new one.

Hope to see in a near future with us!
Should you have any another question or concern, please feel free to ask us.

Cheers!

1952  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: do bitcoin gambling sites need gambling licenses? on: January 14, 2015, 07:58:45 PM
betfair and others I use don't take bitcoin yet, but are licensed so do use them, but have bitcoins and wanted a similar site game wise that will be easy for me to use, but was worried how to tell if provably fair and regulated

If you are looking for a Betfair alternative using bitcoins, you might definitely try www.betbtc.co

We are probably the most promissing dedicated Bitcoin Sports Betting Exchange around, we cover almost all features offered by betfair, we are working to have more features and also licence as well.

Check our official btctalk topic or go directly to our website.

Let's Celebrate - BetBTC just got first Market with 1 Bitcoin fully Matched!

We launched BetBTC just some days ago but things are already getting big. Today we just achieved one of our first milestones: We got 1 market hitting the milestone mark, on the Match Odds Real Madrid vs Atl. Madrid for 15th January. https://www.betbtc.co/events/765

We would like to thank all of our beta and first real depositor members for the trust you putted on BetBTC and also reassure that we would keep working hard to deliver you more features, security and support.

To celebrate this milestone we will make a 48H Commission-Free (0% commission) campaign when we won't charge a single satoshi. We will give more information about this campaign during the following days but it will happen during this weekend but don't forget it cause it will be an awesome opportunity to jump in and try BetBTC if you haven't done it yet.

Once again, thanks for your trust and feedback BetBTC

Hello. When you request an withdrawal, the system makes an automatic auditory to your account before the withdrawal is created. On your specific case all went well and that's why you see the "Approved".

For now, we process approved withdrawals mannually multiple times per day.

PS: Your withdrawal request was already processed.
