1941  Economy / Economics / Re: Deutsche Bank Says Good Things about Bitcoin on: September 28, 2015, 10:07:48 AM
Deutsche Bank is one of the latest banks to back blockchain technology. The Frankfurt, Germany based bank has responded positively to the European Securities and Market Authority’s (ESMA) call for evidence on investments using virtual currency and blockchain technology.

http://www.newsbtc.com/2015/08/02/deutsche-bank-says-good-things-about-bitcoin/

That's why the German economy is one of the most strong, productive and qualitative economy in the world. They searches and after know the best and adopt it immediately without prejudice. I'm sure that they will go further in this direction. I want to remember here that Germany was one of the firsts country which was very friendly even with bitcoin. According to CNBC http://www.cnbc.com/id/100971898

"Virtual currency bitcoin has been recognized by the German Finance Ministry as a "unit of account", meaning it is can be used for tax and trading purposes in the country."

"Bitcoin is not classified as e-money or a foreign currency, the Finance Ministry said in a statement, but is rather a financial instrument under German banking rules. It is more akin to "private money" that can be used in "multilateral clearing circles", the Ministry said."

"We should have competition in the production of money. I have long been a proponent of Friedrich August von Hayek scheme to denationalize money. Bitcoins are a first step in this direction,"said Frank Schaeffler, a member of the German parliament's Finance Committee, who has pushed for legal classification of bitcoins."
1942  Economy / Economics / Re: Can economies grow ad infinitum? on: September 28, 2015, 09:42:10 AM
Can economies grow ad infinitum?
Is it realistic to accept the premise that national economies should continue growing forever?

If not, then is it right that growth appears to be the primary measure by which we judge an economy's health?

Theoretically yes. If all factors which determine an economy goes well there has no reasons that the economy cannot be grow. Practically no. You can learn everything about why here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business_cycle

About the last question if it is right that growth appears to be the primary measure by which we judge an economy's health I think that the answer is no. Because the growth may be one year or two or even more but if the economy is structured bad the next year it will not more growth. For sure. Primary indicator in the economy's health of one country is the structure of its economy. If this structure is the needed one in that phase of development of one country it will be with much probability that the growth be long. It will be not more growth if the changes in the structure of society need changes in the structure of economy. If made those the growth will continue again; if not, there is will be not more growth until that changes happen.
1943  Economy / Economics / Re: Greece is going DOWN on: September 28, 2015, 09:22:53 AM

http://www.bloomberg.com/quote/ASE:IND

What the hell is happening in Greece? Havent Germany%France aided them?

Stocks Market is down %16.65 at the moment.

-%42.12 return in last 1 year.

A country is sinking down right before our eyes.

This thread is old and I wanted to write on it not to give the answer to the author which make the answer because he without doubt know the answer of it now that the situation is evolved to much but to give life at this thread about Greece because I believe that the issue "Greece" deserve continue attention in every point of view by anyone and more and more every day which passe. It is important discuss about them because is a problem not only Greek. Near this country (in the economic meaning) is Italy one of the most important and powerful economy of the world, is Spain (the same position) it were Ireland and Portugal and tomorrow may be to many others country.

So, the Greece continue to be in crisis. Even with new agreement there is not solved nothing yet. The donors may see changes in order that they give the money and the story of Greece has shown that the changes for the Greeks are very difficult to be made. Tsipras is a demagogue that today made a move and tomorrow another totally different compared with the first. It was not so with the referendum? In one hand he were in talks about the agreement with the European countries and on the other hand has declared the referendum invited the people to not vote that agreement. He has won the last elections and with to many probabilities will be again the first minister of Greece.

I'm sure that we will have other surprised news from Greece in the days to come.
1944  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the US win the currency war? on: September 28, 2015, 08:57:17 AM
No way about this. Us dollar is the world currency and us dollar will be the world currency also for to many other years. If it will be an war which will threaten it I think that again it will be the winner. There will be and there are in place two big potential economic wars which risky the dominance of us dollar. The war with European union and the war with China. I think that both of those will be won by United States. If it will be so the us dollar will maintain its position as e leader currency in the world. Most of the countries (or all of them) will continue to maintain their monetary reserves mainly in us dollar and this currency will be the most privileged one among all the others.

Same with the English. Will continue to maintain the first place as a spoken language. No risk from Chine even with the increasing power of this country and no risk from European Union which have English as official language on it.
Things change mate, and who knows you may be looking at btc as the global currency in the next few years. I guess no one would have guessed rome would die out before it actually did

No way even about this. I am a bitcoiner but bitcoin will be never the world currency. May be one of the world currency and I hope one of the most used world currency but never the world currency. First of all because are not to many coins to face all need for money in all the world. Second because people need to buy the bread every day and cannot do this with bitcoin. And cannot created the physical coins because bitcoin has no owners to take care of this. Then for to many other reasons like impossibility to do monetary policies, war between its developers about the ways in which it must be developed etc. Then is ridiculous to tell the next years when it is known (yes or not) only by 1% of the people of the world.

1946  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the world economy dependent on the American economy? on: September 28, 2015, 08:18:09 AM
Is the world economy dependent on the American economy?

The United States of America are the most powerful country in the world. In all the ways. One of this way is even their economy. In this meaning it is natural that the economy of entire world depends from the american economy. I can give an example about this thought. This is a fact and not a supposition. The financial crisis of 2007–08. According to Wikipedia:

The bursting of the U.S. (United States) housing bubble, which peaked in 2004, caused the values of securities tied to U.S. real estate pricing to plummet, damaging financial institutions globally.

The financial crisis of 2007–08, also known as the Global Financial Crisis and 2008 financial crisis, is considered by many economists to have been the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression of the 1930s. It threatened the collapse of large financial institutions, which was prevented by the bailout of banks by national governments, but stock markets still dropped worldwide. In many areas, the housing market also suffered, resulting in evictions, foreclosures and prolonged unemployment. The crisis played a significant role in the failure of key businesses, declines in consumer wealth estimated in trillions of U.S. dollars, and a downturn in economic activity leading to the 2008–2012 global recession and contributing to the European sovereign-debt crisis. The active phase of the crisis, which manifested as a liquidity crisis, can be dated from August 9, 2007, when BNP Paribas terminated withdrawals from three hedge funds citing "a complete evaporation of liquidity".
1947  Economy / Economics / Re: Greece's tax revenues collapse as debt crisis continues on: September 28, 2015, 08:08:56 AM
What a surprise. in a country what does not have a performing financial authority, the government needs the goodwill of people to pay tax. in the past, many have not paid their tax with having nothing to fear. Now, even the people who showed goodwill are not paying anymore.

Greeks historically are big evaders of taxes. Their mentality is that the money earned from them are theirs and that the state steal their money with the taxes. So they find natural don't pay the taxes. But not only this. They even protect their money from taxes in any way. First of all with lying of the amounts of earnings. They hide the amount earnings in hundred ways. Second even using the force. In many islands the owners of various hotels expel by impolicy the representatives of tax offices

1949  Economy / Economics / Re: Greece to Receive 1,000 Bitcoin ATMs as Trust in Banks ‘Long Gone’ on: September 28, 2015, 07:54:10 AM
I still don't know whats the big deal about bitcoin ATMs, they have ridiculously high fees , and why use something like this if you can be more or less anonymous on the internet as well.

It is the fact that prove that the owners don't bother about bitcoin or about the knowing of it from the people but for their pockets. For this I wrote in my previous post that the bringing of 1 000 bitcoin ATMs in Greece serve only for the pocket of their owners and not for any other reasons.
1950  Economy / Economics / Re: Greece to Receive 1,000 Bitcoin ATMs as Trust in Banks ‘Long Gone’ on: September 28, 2015, 07:48:01 AM
I think it's a welcome move if at least we see even 50 or 100 bitcoin atms in Greece. This will help propel the Greek economy but just hope this doesn't help Greeks to evade tax and take out black money and then we have another crisis on our hands..

Receive and install bitcoin 1000 ATM can help propel the Greek economy? This seems ridiculous to me. In which way those ATM will help the Greek economy? Will invent money? Or will bring money gratis from out of Greece. The Greek economy must be helped only with the hard work of all the Greeks and with the restructuring of every cell of their economy. Only in this way there must be hope that they can go out from the crisis. Don't exist another. As for ATMs those serve only that the its owners hope to make money with the crisis of the Greece.
1951  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] OPEN SPOTS Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: September 28, 2015, 07:39:17 AM
And we are three now with the same status. It would be possible be fired three people from the campaign immediately without telling reasons?
It is very sad if it will be true. I had taken with very dedication this campaign. I liked it to much.

Same, I promote the product and I take this very seriously.  I don't spam.  I engage with the community in thoughtful discussion, answer questions, ask good questions, etc.  I don't know why I would be fired unless I made too much money.  I have been talking about mining a lot recently because I got some new miners and was trying to figure out how to set them up and the implications of halving/XT, etc.

The bot don't work for anyone. So it is not possible that we are fired. It is not possible that are fired all the members of campaign. At least this is my hope.
1952  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to make a living online? on: September 28, 2015, 07:36:46 AM
If you are a programmer you can earn huge otherwise some residual income marketing companies can make people big bucks online if they have a huge list and many referrals. I see tons of peeps on the net daily making thousands every week, wish i could become one of them, but it takes hard work..

Not only hard work but even to much money. Finding referrals (and first of all good referrals) it is not easy. So I doubt that they may have to much earnings. Many referrals with time leave because of various reasons so needed other money to find others to replace them. It is a doubt process in the meaning of earnings I think.

Now is not writing more signature deleted. But yet no data. It is finished the time in which the bot announces the fired of everyone which is fired or we are not fired?

what is with you and being fired? Cheesy

check anybody's user id in the bot that you like. nothing works!

I haven't thought this. Then we are not fired. I can tell: Yahooooooo!  Cheesy
1954  Economy / Economics / Re: Greece needs wide debt relief to avoid permanent depression, thinktank warns on: September 28, 2015, 07:30:12 AM
It  is very good analysys.Everybody know about it,USA istalking about it,even IMF
but it will not happen becouse of iron Germany.Germany will find for it
Thay are intersted in debt raising, austerity and steal from Greece whatever is possible

Cannot be told that Germany want to steal money to the Greece. I think that this is a big error. Cannot be used the word "steal" when someone want its money. Germany want its money. The debt of Greece is made even and mainly with the money of Germany. This is the first thing. The second is that Germany have not told never that is against the restructuring of the debt of the Greece. But first needed to do structural reforms in order that the restructuring of the debt don't go in vain. And then can be the restructuring of the debt. Not in the meaning to be cut it of but in others way.

1956  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Do You Earn Free Bitcoins? on: September 28, 2015, 07:05:34 AM
I'm earn usually from faucet, sig campaign, and giveway since I know bitcoin a year ago.
Honestly I want to try earn bitcoin by purchasing bitcoin hardware because it will earn me more than my current earnings
But since the process kindda complicated so I decide not to purchase it

You meaning to mine with your hardware? May be complicate the process but it is almost for sure that you couldn't earn with this process. The price of kind of hardware are to high plus you have to pay their electricity (they spent not few electricity) plus you must take in consideration the rising of dificulty in mining. That factors make very hard to have profit from this process.

1959  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: September 28, 2015, 06:28:14 AM
To be honest, if the price drop to $100/coin, most people will be SELLING not buying. IMO, if the price drop below $150-200, something very bad must have happened.

It is true that most of people will sell. Will sell the less bitcoiners. And there will be some that will buy. But you in which group takes part? You didn't tell what do you do if the price fall at 100 us dollar. This is the meaning of this thread. Understand if you are a bitcoiner and will buy or a non bitcoiner and will sell.  Wink
