You should enter in your motherboard bios and find an option like "Memory remapping" and disable it.
That it worked for me is all I know.
1942  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Driver keeps crashing under windows 7 x64 on: January 01, 2013, 01:57:31 PM
I finally solved that problem disabling "Remap memory hole" in the bios.
But that will suck about 700 MB of ram per vga card.

And here is another gold-bug website pimping BTC like there is no tomorrow:

(that's an impressive article published today BTW)

A backup pool in the client could be designed so that it kicks in just when Bitminter is down. That's what I was thinking and proposing.

Additionally the developer could gain from it in several ways (either using a single account for the backup pool to get his slice, or by an agreement with the backup pool operator, or other ways, like letting use it only users who donate above a treshold).

OK.. maybe I'm missing something... can someone point me to one of his posts where he actually adds BTC to the gold/silver/oil triad?   from looking at his site, all I'm seeing is that he has a bitcoin donation address...   Sill a plus, but not exactly the ringing endorsement I was hoping to see...

Title just says he got a wallet! Gotta have a wallet to get BTC donations  Wink I think the OP is just assuming, and now I'm just assuming.

yes, in fact I asked him to elaborate on it in a comment on mine on his blog. Anyway asking for BTC donations is quite an eloquent endorsement I'd say -no assumption needed.

I think it's time to consider to implement the option of a backup pool in the Bitminter client.
I would be happy to pay a fee when I use it.

So the need for the privacy & security feature of a currency can grow less OR more if the society grows better OR worse.

You are right, but betting on the WORSE is a no-brainer.
But on this regard, the privacy features of BTC are actually much lower than cash and precious metals, especially for not-geeks.

Now even LewRockwell.com is asking for BTC donations. And they too are worth of them.

Who is using the bitminter client has no backup pool though (it would be nice to have it). I found that it was down after a while when I perceived a lower temp in my room.

Sarebbe come fare shopping pagando in monete d'oro.

If someone can help me out with physical silver prices, I will add another bet as promised for physical Silver prices.

How about:

?

edit: 3 years, 11 months is a way too long wait. I would bet in a shorter term, 8 months max.

For me it implies that they were just gays.
So anyone who does not discriminate against gays is gay? Very poor logic there sonny. I am disappoint.

No: for me anyone for gun "control" (ban) is "gay" meaning illogical, emotional, brainwashed sheeple.

So you've decided that no one has the right to tell you what to do. That's rather egotistical of you, isn't it? You do belong to some society? Or are you a unibomber-esque loner who enjoys only his own companies and does not care what society thinks of him?
Or, more likely, is it that you're happy to be regulated by laws you agree with, but not by laws you disagree with?

You are mixing social and legal norms, making a mess and trying to be specious again. So its better to leave you trolling by yourself.

For the record, are you anti-homosexual?

No. Neither I am pro gay (I don't care if that is that mandatory according your politically correct party line).
1958  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gun free zone on: December 25, 2012, 12:42:03 AM
For me it implies that they were just gays. Anyway, I find very unintelligent to be "regulated" by anyone -of the gay lobby or not-, especially if the "regulation" is based on illogical and specious arguments.
1959  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gun free zone on: December 25, 2012, 12:12:49 AM
The term "pro gay" is mentioned nowhere in the article. Is it a term you made up - are you afraid of the gays?

Quote
In a 1994 research paper titled “Sex and Guns: Is Gun Control Male Control?” Canadian sociologist H. Taylor Buckner documented three surveys he conducted of his undergraduate students concerning their attitudes on guns and gun control. He concluded that:
Quote
…students who were pro gun control were also pro homosexual, pro censorship of pornography, and not experienced with guns.
1960  Other / Off-topic / Re: Gun free zone on: December 25, 2012, 12:05:20 AM
BTW: a "first world" social scientist found that males in favor of gun control are predominatly pro-gay and know-nothing about guns, and females kind of pro-castration (metaphorically) types: http://www.alternativeright.com/main/blogs/untimely-observations/gun-control-as-castration/

This seems to me a more interesting correlation.

"Pro-gay" doesn't mean anything. "Anti-homophobe", on the other hand, does.

I am of a different opinion: "pro-gay" seems just a politically correct way to say "gay". But I am anti-semantic. But that term is used by the author of that research. So you can go to argue with him.
