1941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone using the following crypto wallets? on: February 09, 2022, 08:18:52 PM
I have never heard of those other wallets you just mentioned, my trick in surviving in crypto-currency remains don't get too greedy. Firstly I would like to know, why do you want to move away from trust wallet, you really didn't mention a tangible reason, I also use trust wallet I haven't had any issues with it, to me it's really a private wallet and has great utilities, I haven't used any of the other ones you mentioned but I can say trust wallet is very good.
1942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON - Finals. on: February 06, 2022, 10:13:11 PM
Congratulations to the Senegalese team, a well deserved victory of the African nation's cup, although boring but what do you expect from the finals. Both teams were trying to be very cautious, the Egyptians weren't as lucky as they used to be previously in a penalty shootout, big well done to Mendy the Chelsea goal keeper was impressive all through the tournament, finally sadio mane has a trophy for this national team, he can now say he has completed a great achievement, what a career he is having. Congratulations to the whole team as well.
1943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find ICOs worth investing? on: February 06, 2022, 10:01:21 PM
Hello! Is it still worth to invest into ICOs? If so, how do I find the good ones? Any recommendations here ?Smiley
From research ICO (initial coin offering) seems to be dead right now, and their are many reasons to it, but scam has the highest percentage as a reason to the death of ICO also the coming in off many other Crypto-currency features is making it hard for ICO to even recover, I don't have any recommendations for you concerning an ICO to invest but I would warn you to think this your urge through, because it could be a risky one.
1944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A little reminder why Bitcoin is necessary on: February 06, 2022, 09:40:02 PM
I don't use PayPal, so I really don't know how true this is, but as for Bitcoin, I believe you are safer when you own in on your private wallet, you might be into Bitcoin but have your coins on an exchange, this is still very risky, because it still not 100% yours, you can also be kicked out by this exchanges, funds stolen from this exchanges or they change their contract with you anytime they want, don't lose your guard because you feel it's safest to be in crypto-currency, they are still threats on the side be wise.
1945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON - Finals. on: February 06, 2022, 09:31:04 PM
Egypt has had a working game plan since this knockout phases, they check out the strength of their opponent, and if they have a greater attacking strength than them they play a type of football that is defensive, and they are really good at that, I strongly believe this game would go into penalty shootout, and Egypt has been a lucky side when ever games goes into penalties, although I am still supporting Senegal on this one and hopefully they would win the nation's cup.
1946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: February 06, 2022, 07:36:12 PM

The issue is that this premier league teams underate the lower division teams meanwhile this lower teams sees it as an opportunity to display their quality and they put out a 110% performers. Looking at the stats Leicester city were outplayed. Leicester city only had the possession but couldn't do anything with that. In just the 32nd min Leicester city were already 3 goals down, there's no way they could have comeback from that.

Chelsea were lucky to progress to the next stage and they have kepa to thank for saving that late penalty while Manchester united weren't lucky. In other news  the 2021 AFCON final is ongoing and three of premier league finest (E.Mendy, Mo Salah and Mena) are playing don't miss that.
I think this problem about teams underating teams occurs mostly with some middle class English team, although I also consider Manchester United as a middle class English team, I AM really impressed with the lower teams taking their chances against this so call bigger teams and today Leicester felt it hard, not only did they lose it was an embarrassing defeat I think they would never forget about it.
1947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: February 06, 2022, 06:40:32 PM
Biggest shock of  the FA cup to me should be Leicester city vs Nothenham Forest, the premier league side Leicester city lost to a lower division side Rotherham Forest 4 goals to their single goal, and what's even funny is that they fielded a strong team against this lower division team, I think the quality of football from the English premier league teams is dropping fast.
1948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto-Currency in Africa on: February 05, 2022, 10:20:28 PM
Africa is wide and fast developing, and I think crypto-currency is always going to have a head way in Africa, although Africa has alot of challenges in terms of technical development and high tech knowledge, and this is due to the fact that Africa is still a developing continent, but this hasn't stopped the influx of African citizens into crypto-currency, and I think the government right now are our biggest challenges, but with time it would fade away, I see Africa making head ways in crypto-currency, Nigeria has one of the largest crypto-currency community, this is a testimonial of africa's influence.
1949  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin from the economic perspective on: February 05, 2022, 09:17:39 PM
Going through some countries economic performance and statistics I came to a big conclusion that the economic benefit bitcoin as an approved currency in a country is way more than the disadvantages of Bitcoin to an economy but what the government in scared is the decentralization of the financial system.

I believe that even if the heads if the government aren't too familiar with Bitcoin they have advisers who are sure they should know the possibilities of Bitcoin to a nation's economy, I I believe is great even if their are some disadvantages to it, like people using it for illegal activities, but to me that's not the biggest threat to the government, the government are scared that crypto-currency gives so much power to the people and they aren't having any of that.

1951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON - Finals. on: February 05, 2022, 08:31:36 PM
Firstly I would say Cameroon spirit was cut short bec6 they taught they would be playing in the finals, Many teams don't actually take the 3rd place match seriously anymore, so Cameroon didn't have the inspiration, I honestly feel they should be there instead of Egypt, the apply more pressure but Egypt was able to counter everyone of them, regardless they dropped and had to settle for a 3rd place game with Burkina Faso who are delighted to even have a chance to reach the semi finals, so am not surprised they are winning Cameroon.
1952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just trying to understand how NFT works when trying to sell on: February 05, 2022, 08:07:48 PM
NFT is like your every day goods encoded, it isn't sure you would sell it even if the price is below $0.1. there are many things you should understand before you venture into Nft, right now you should know that many companies are involved in Nft it isn't as simple as it was, I rather refer to it as a power tussle or wealth, NFT would have been best to join them an not now, why because many projects are already rushing into it and there goes the scam possiblities too so it is very difficult to make something out of it
1953  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: [CHARTS] Monthly Overview Of The Unofficial Nigeria Local Board📈 on: February 05, 2022, 01:10:18 PM
Guys e make sense as our activities they rise it shows say we are really putting efforts to see say the board go well, even without any incentives we still remains effective here, it goes to show that their is alot to communicate here on our local thread, regardless make we no relent, but continue to strive for a better crypto-currency Nigerian community.
1954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your reason for buying altcoins? on: February 04, 2022, 10:38:44 PM
U haven't found a reason to but any Alt-Coins so here are my reasons for not buying, the good ones has a higher price tag, the Alt-Coins I could at least buy and hold on to aren't legit to my thoughts, many Alt-Coins out now maynhas a scam White paper and they are looking at achieving unrealistic expectations/goals set for themselves, I still stand to be correct ok this one but I think Alt-Coins is for a shorter time for buying and holding and also not to be bought at first with irreplaceable capital, be smart, when you are buying or selling on crypto-currency
1955  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: February 04, 2022, 10:30:21 PM
The thing there be say many people wey join memecoin, them been join am because them missed out on dogecoin or shibainu, na them be the type of crypto-currency hodlers wey no Sabi research, I no give memecoins any credits I believe say many of them they get utilities wey them no fit manage like P2E, Play to earn gaming platform and even Nft collection, bottom line them no look real again.
1956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: February 04, 2022, 10:06:00 PM
Unbelievable that Manchester United with it's start studded line up are only drawing with Middleborough, it's high time Manchester United board are meant to check mate their current coach, he has really performed below average than is expected of him.
It's time maybe they review Micheal Carrick's role in the club, he has been with this team for a long time as a player and as a coach he understands the team very well and deserves a chance of his own.
1957  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin gives me a positive financial impact on: February 04, 2022, 09:30:59 PM
I have been actively trading since early 2021. I was introduced by a friend "bounty hunter" about bitcoin and I was interested in knowing many things including how it works, trading and invest.

I admit that the first cryptocurrency I bought was bitcoin. I bought it 50% of the capital I had and sold it at the peak of ATH April. Subsequently I managed to buy bitcoin 80% of the total previous profit on the decline and resell them in November. During the 2021 ATH cycle I managed to make a total profit of $12,000 with bitcoin. It actually changed a few percent of my financial condition during the pandemic.

If I can make a profit in 2021, will you experience it too?
Positive story mate, congratulations on that, but this isn't a financial advice should be added to your post, many newbies are mislead by profits stories maybe not with Bitcoin, but other Crypto-currency, but still they don't do their research all because one person says they have made gains from it, 2021 was a good year for Bitcoin and crypto-currency at large and I am not surprised by stories like this.
1958  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria (Naija) on: February 03, 2022, 09:10:37 PM

To be honest, recently I don see many memecoins out right now, it's starting to be filled with developers wey want quick money, I also see one wey atleast don Tay e m na Alien Inu, this one get serious developer but I never too sure of am, my fear with memecoins be say almost all wan get the attention of Elon musk or just trying to mimick dogecoin by formulating a strategy from it, I believe memecoins can be a good investment if the project they serious and I no think say wakanda Inu dey serious.
1959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will u feel if d price of 1BTC exceeds $1m by 2030 as its made legal tender on: February 03, 2022, 09:01:16 PM
If u can fully recall, El Salvador adopted BTC a legal tender alongside the US dollar in September last year.. Now the Salvadoran president, Nayib Bukele has predicted that bitcoin will become a legal tender in two more countries this year. Devere Group's CEO expects 3countries to do so too while Bitmax's CEO expects 5countries to do so.
With this trends it won't be surprising to see other sovereign nation states acquire bitcoin in 2022. Infact it will be a dream come true since Ark research indicated that the fundamentals of bitcoin network have always remind healthy.

I don't think all he adoption of Bitcoin can cause the price of Bitcoin to be at $1,000,000 by 2030, I think countries Making Bitcoin a legal tender only does a formality role, because it's would only still be used by those who had already believed in Bitcoin, although it can prove to some percentage of people that Bitcoin isn't a scam, but regardless they are alot of things that can cause such price change in less than 9years to come.
1960  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion Thread || Current discussion: AFCON - Semi Finals. on: February 03, 2022, 08:42:15 PM
My prediction of Senegal wining this year's African cup of nation is almost coming true, after they reached the finals of the competition, regardless of who wins between Cameroon and Egypt, I still believe that they won't be a match for the Senegalese team, I really hope to see mane lift this year's tournament, I feel they deserve it and has giving it a real go in the competition no disrespect to any time who would meet them in the finals.
