1941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 23, 2021, 11:39:43 PM
Bayern has to find a good player to replace Lewandowski. Currently he is at a pick, broke a record while he is quite old which means his estimated price won't increase in the future but most probably will decrease especially if he gets many injuries or scored less than the last season.
Better to sell him for €50m or swap him with another player (even in a different position) that +/- failed so far in his team but has potential to rise in Bundesliga like Hazard or Sterling or G.Jesus...
The whole question is whether a top club like Bayern is willing to wait for several years or at least one season when a player bought or traded will show the same results as the one already sold by that time by Lewandowski Wink I am not sure that Hazard or Sterling will immediately fit into the mechanism of team play and will break all sorts of records by coming to the Bayern club. As I said earlier, Bayern may consider selling the Polish striker in the event of a good offer and the personal desire of the player himself, but I do not think that it is worth forcing this issue solely for financial purposes and questions of monetary gain.

Marca says that Kylian Mbappe has rejected PSG's last contract offer. He really wants to go to Real Madrid now. And Real Madrid also want to finish this deal without having a problem. On the other hand, PSG don't want to lose him. He has only one year left on his contract. I wonder how this will end.
I think it will be better if PSG lets him go to Real Madrid. What for to defend him? He has no interest anymore to play in PSG. When a player already has no interest to stay, it will be a worse decision to keep him in the club. Imagine if the player won't show his best performance in the next season? It can a big problem both for the player and the club as well. The player price may decrease quite a lot and probably Real Madrid will be no longer interested t sign him. I hope PSG management won't consider experiencing this potentially bad situation.
It's just that Paris Saint-Germain is probably not satisfied with the amount offered for Mbappe and the French club is ready to play a risky game, as a result of which the club may not get anything in the end and release the player as a free agent. PSG also probably believes that another year of Killian's game at the Paris club is quite commensurate with the amount that the club could have saved in the event of the sale of the player. Also, the problem is that Real Madrid is not in such a good financial condition now to pay a good price for a player. I think that the player is professional enough to work out his contract to the end if anything happens and continue to demonstrate a good game.
1943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: July 23, 2021, 11:14:57 PM
I voted for Barcelona to win La Liga next year. Two year break is enough for them, Barcelona should create more competitive squad again. They showed signs of it lately, Messi is staying, Agüero, Garcia and Memphis came. I hope they can sell Griezmann for a good price and buy a more suitable player there. Then we can talk about championship more realistically. For now starting eleven don't look they can dominate the league,
What I learned from your statement, you doubt Barcelona can win La Liga. You voted Barcelona to win but you are not confident with their starting eleven. I am not sure if Barcelona can sign more superstars, they have a problem with players' salaries. Selling Griezmann may be just the solution for their financial problem for players' salaries. So, don't expect much they plan for another new top player. In fact, there is no strong news that Barcelona plans a new big deal in the remaining time of the transfer window.
I also think that by selling Griezmann, Barcelona will not be able to buy a player of the same caliber for the money earned. Moreover, it should be taken into account that potential buyers will not give a very large amount for a player, knowing about the financial problems of the club and problems with financial fair play. Therefore, I would not strongly expect in your place that the sale of Griezmann will affect in any other way than meeting the conditions of La Liga on financial issues. It is also worth considering that the other Spanish clubs hardly think that it is time to give the title to Barcelona in turn  Grin On paper, Barcelona is one of the contenders for the title, but only time and the game will really show how it will be.

I agreed with you here as a keen follower of EPL it is often difficult for a title holder to defend their title recall when Liverpool won it last it became very difficult for them to defend it despite winning with with a massive 99 points and incredible 44 matches unbeaten runs, last season they were thoroughly beaten even by relegation battling team like Fulham though they may attribute it to injuries of some their key players, I also expect other EPL clubs apart from Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool and Leicester City give Man City a run for your money thus they wouldn't find things easy this season well I expected them to rise up to the challenge because it is not going to be business as usual this season gonna be quite competitive as far as EPL title is concerned.
Anything can happen in football and we might be surprised after what we didn't believe came true in the end. Because football is a team game then for any team who can play well and win as many match as possible then they will be possible to win the title including the current defending champion team.
I don't think there's anything wrong with supporting Manchester City to win the EPL in the next 2-3 season because since Guardiola arrived, EPL title have become commonplace. Now that I believe Guardiola's men have the mentality to win title, their failure in the UCL final must be corrected for the 2021/2022 season.
It's just that not everything depends on Manchester City and Pep Guardiola. I don't deny the financial strength of the owners of Manchester City, the work of the selection department and the coaching talent of Guardiola, which allows the club to be one of the favorites for the league title, but still the Premier League is competitive enough for Manchester City to win the title of champion three or four years in a row. Such stories usually occur in championships, where one of the teams overwhelmingly surpasses the other teams due to its composition, the level of its game and in financial terms, but it seems that we can't say this about England and its championship yet.

Yes nothing is a done deal yet, still in negotiations and Kane signaled that he would be happy to get the opportunity to leave the club at the right conditions for all parties of course. The deal that was brought up now with four players for Kane also sounds crazy to me, especially the fact that Sterling (allegedly) is perhaps part of that quartet. Sterling had quite the low for some time, but he fought back and is now a very good player in my opinion. Let's see if this rumor is true or not, we will soon find out!
In the current conditions, a deal with the involvement of other players from the uncompromising position of Daniel Levy looks most likely, because the requested 150 million pounds already in this transfer window is thought to be too large a sum even for a rich club like Manchester City. Tottenham itself needs to be strengthened and is looking for players in the center and right flank of the defense, and perhaps the option with an additional exchange could well interest the club. There are no other options with the participation of other clubs for the transfer of Kane at the moment and is not expected. Kane would like to go to Manchester City and the Manchester club itself is interested in this. Now we need to interest Tottenham as well Wink

Ibelleive that Navas is one of the best goalkeepers in the world without a doubt, but he is probably the number 1 in bad luck!!
He was one of the creditors in the historical trilogy with Real Madrid before he was abandoned for Courtois.
so that the story would be repeated with him again in Paris and he would have two options, the sweetest of which was bitter.
Is he goong to stay and compete with Donnarumma or leave in search of a new challenge with guarantees of continuous playtime.
His contract with PSG runs to summer 2024 so 3 more seasons left that's a long period and if he finds himself playing as number 2 he has to convince them to sell him.
Navas has no choice but to try to compete for a place in the goal of Paris Saint-Germain, but I'm afraid that, as in the case of Courtois at Real Madrid, the Paris club will try to bet on Donnarumma because of the high salary of the Italian goalkeeper. It is unlikely that Paris will just pay such high money to the best goalkeeper of EURO 2020 and keep him on the bench, and if for the first time during the adaptation of Donnarumma there are options with competition in the club, then it seems that during the season Donnarumma should become the main goalkeeper, and Navas the reserve. And there is nothing personal in this, but only pure business, given the age of the goalkeepers and the potential prospect for several future years.

Wow, Brazil is thrashing Germany. Richarlison with a 1st half hattrick, he's really looking great recently. He'll probably look for a transfer out of Everton soon.
Looking at the lineups - not really unexpected though. Brazil team looks much stronger and is among the best ones on the tournament. Spain is by far the best looking one though, their Olympic team includes some of the players from the Euros as well (Pedri, Oyarzabal, Olmo, Torres, Simon and Garcia).
When the first half was going on, it seemed that Brazil would arrange a big defeat for Germany and could easily score another couple of three goals. One one-on-one exits with the goalkeeper were consistently arranged by Germany in defense due to defective passes and too high a line-up of defenders because of which Brazil got one-on-one exits with the goalkeeper. But in the second half, Germany unexpectedly won back two goals and the game could well have come to a draw. Probably, the Brazilian national team calmed down too early because of the easily developing match and the advantage of one player due to the removal of a German player, and Germany, on the contrary, shook itself off after the break and shook off the excess excitement.

Even if Koeman finds a way to give Griezman the room he needs to enfold his potential, he isn't the Griezman he used to be at Atletico Madrid anymore. When he played for Atletico he was an absolute world class striker. His strength was that he almost never missed a chance. It was impressive how he kept his coolness again and again. When you watch him at Barcelona now all of that coolness is gone. He isn't even average more in my opinion.
He perhaps is not what he used to be in Atletico Madrid but the Euro shows that Griezie still has some excellent skills and it is just how comfortable and confident he can bring in matches.
Griezie can have bigger contributions than Dembele at least but I don't believe that he has ever felt comfortable in Barcelona. Whatever he said or whatever Barcelona tried to claim that they give him best conditions to play in Nou Camp. Conflict with Messi, as rumor is going. It is possible.
I don't think there is any personal conflict between Messi and Griezmann right now. All the potential dissatisfaction with Messi that could have been shown to Griezmann could have been solely due to the dismissal of Luis Suarez, with whom Messi has friendly relations and which the Argentine player took painfully. Judging by the latest words of Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone and club president Enrique Cerezo, Griezmann's return to the club looks unlikely. There is also information that Barcelona offers Griezmann to English clubs in order to unload the salary list and even the option of exchanging Griezmann for a Dybala from Italian Juventus.
1949  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy after COVID-19 on: July 19, 2021, 11:59:14 PM
In my country, after COVID-19 all sectors were seriously affected, making economic growth fall to the lowest level in many years, threatening the business development and income of the workers.  hope that the storm of COVID-19 pandemic has passed and the economy will recover from the difficult period.
It will be a lot of years before every country will recover from this pandemic situation. It's not just all about health concern but the biggest concern by the people in the government is how to make the recovery from what it did to everyone of us.
A lot of businesses have closed and filed for bankruptcy and it's sad that they're unlikely to stop.
Yes, this situation with the epidemic played its role as a black swan and showed all the shortcomings of the modern system of medicine, economics and public administration. Bankruptcies are an integral part of the modern capitalist system, helping to cut off inefficient enterprises, but the current force majeure circumstances have done their not quite fair work and quite competitive enterprises and elements of small business have ceased their activities. All this imposes a great responsibility on the state authorities in future measures to support and stimulate economic activity after the end of the pandemic. Yes, some types of businesses have now been forced to liquidate, but they should be revived later in more favorable conditions.
1950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do many mainstream economists always oppose Bitcoin? on: July 19, 2021, 11:48:17 PM
Exactly, They are the beneficiary of current financial Model and make their living out of it which makes rich richer and poor poorer. The vested interests will always oppose any new Technology that can potentially challenge  their interest but Bitcoin is here to stay and will replace the current financial system which is very un-democratic and serves the interest of elites but commons suffer.
Now that bitcoin has become a reality Where are these people when the bitcoin goes up? Sometimes the bitcoin starts to come down, these people are visible That is their job bitcoin is Bad this is a bubble we are listening to years ago but bitcoin is a new digital asset this is a reality and no buddy can stop bitcoin we are lucky to collect some bitcoins hope we see good futures.
It is time to accustom yourself to the fact that there may be different views and different opinions on the ongoing processes and it is not at all necessary to see only selfish interest and malicious intent in the opposite point of view. Moreover, economics has never been and is not an exact science like mathematics, physics or chemistry, so the conclusions of some economists are not the ultimate truth and can be interpreted both in this and in another direction. If bitcoin as an asset shows signs of overheating or a bubble, then there is no need to immediately deny it and assert the opposite only because of sympathy for bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and everything that is behind it. You just need to be objective and not be afraid to call white white and black black.

Leclerc almost did a miracle with the Ferrari.
Ferrari already stopped the upgrades for this car 2 months ago while Mercedes and Redbull will be in war till the end of the season.
Good race but was almost impossible for Charles.
Leclerc has a hard time with the Ferrari, more is not possible with this car at the moment. In addition, he had engine problems, which makes it even more difficult.
The accident between Hamilton and Max is for me a racing accident, even if it was a very hard manoeuvre by Hamilton, it is no longer like the last years that he can win the world championship alone and without problems. When he had Rosberg as an opponent, he always made mistakes when he was under pressure.
Yes, the stewards perfectly understood the situation and made a fair and balanced decision. It is only admirable that despite the incident and Verstappen's desire to arrange an accident between the two drivers and finish the race ahead of schedule for both, Hamilton was able to stay on the track, and then win the race despite the lost positions and a penalty of ten seconds. It's just that Max is used to everyone turning the steering wheel away to avoid contact, but the stakes are too high and Verstappen got the answer in his own risky driving style. Once again, I remind you that the stewards from all sides considered the situation and punished Hamilton for his part of the fault in the incident.

We've seen and read a lot of speculation regarding Kane while there is no certainty on the other hand I haven't heard of Tottenham's new signing targets
If we assume Tottenham let Kane go then who will replace him? is it possible for Tottenham without new players this season? or we can assume if Tottenham can really hold Kane  Huh
If we do not hear about new Tottenham transfers, then on the contrary, this should further strengthen Kane in his desire to leave the club. Kane dreams of titles, and Tottenham is not able to provide him with worthy partners to solve this task, so Tottenham will be like a dog in the manger if they do not let the player go to Manchester City. Moreover, Manchester City and Josep Guardiola have personally shown a specific interest in the transfer of Harry Kane and offer quite market offers. Kane, with his performance and his attitude to the game over all these years, has long earned the right to be treated with respect and allowed to continue his career at a more competitive club.
1953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 19, 2021, 11:12:06 PM
You really think Bayern would be willing to sell off Robert Lewandowski even with the right offer from Chelsea because, I seriously doubt that. Who is going to replace him should he be sold off by the Champions of Bundesliga? There is apparently, no one. You can imagine how Bayern Munich struggled in the just concluded UCL for which, they eventually got eliminated all because, there star man Robert Lewandowski wasn't on the pitch. For sure they've got good players but, Lewandowski has proven to be better at being more productive to the team. He ain't going anywhere and Chelsea has better turn there focus towards other suitable deals.
Bayern is a world grand, which can buy any player he is interested in, but not sell. And the fact that Chelsea beat Bayern Munich in the Champions League is more a lucky coincidence than a well-deserved victory, although the winners are not judged. Bayern can sell Lewandowski in one case, if only they find in his place a new equivalent replacement, and I do not see such a replacement at the moment.
Bayern is not the only world grandee who determines the world transfer policy and at the click of his fingers all the players with the surnames Haaland, Mbappe and Kane line up to move to the Munich club Grin You need to be a little more modest and at times humble your pride Wink Therefore, I think that a move by Lewandowski is quite possible, although it is still unlikely for a number of reasons. Bayern has always been famous for its practical attitude to business and the main thing for the club was not specific personalities, but the club itself. Therefore, if there is a concrete solid offer from another club and the player's own ardent desire to change the situation, it seems that the club will definitely consider the offer, and not immediately reject this option.
1954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 19, 2021, 10:54:16 PM
I still do not get why Dortmund is not selling Haaland, I mean I get that they have a price in mind but what are they thinking? Like 250 million? The biggest offer so far was 150 million and that is a whooooole lot of money, if they could make it public I am sure someone will offer them the amount they want as long as it is understandable.
The most likely reason in my opinion is, Dortmund may still want to keep the team stable with a player like Haaland and want to win the title at the end of the season. So far Haaland is an important player for Dortmund and it is natural to keep him in the next few season despite the huge offers that have come in for him. We might think that Dortmund could buy a lot of other players with the money from the sale of Haaland, but I don't think Dortmund will take this step any time soon. Haaland can still be sold, but at least he will still play 1-2 more season at Dortmund.
And I have the impression that Borussia Dortmund is just stuffing the player's price and trying to get as much money as possible. Because knowing the current philosophy of the club's existence and reading the news about the sale of Jaydon Sancho to Manchester United, the willingness to reduce the price of Julian Brandt from 30 to 20 million for Roman Lazio, as well as the latest news about the willingness to sell Markus Thuram for 25 million, it is difficult to expect that an exception will suddenly be made for Haaland and an attempt will be made around him to make a new club the hegemon of the Bundesliga, which would become a competitor to Bayern Munich.

Mbappe become free transfer player if PSG not sell him in this year because left one year contract on PSG and Mbappe have announce not any extended of new contract, I think bad choose for PSG if not sell Mbappe in this year because they not get anything next year when Mbappe left club with free transfer. Better sell mbappe right now because many club waiting for his sign and Real Madrid become his destination.
It turns out that Paris Saint-Germain perfectly understands the consequences of this step and the potential acquisition of Mbappe's free agent status. The transfer situation is beginning to resemble the story with Donnarumma, when Donnarumma also left as a free agent, although the reasons there were slightly different. And Donnarumma eventually came to Paris Saint-Germain. Funny, isn't it? I think that Paris Saint-Germain hopes to take advantage of the difficult financial situation at Real Madrid, it's not for nothing that Real Madrid seems to have decided not to buy Mbappe in this transfer window and in the end persuade the player with a very good contract. Another question is whether it will work out in the end.
1956  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs Fiat on: July 18, 2021, 11:59:24 PM
I agree, we have the world economy running under steroids since more than a year: it's like having a drug addict receiving more and more substance, at some point he's gonna break down. This is what's gonna happen at the economy, at some point probably soon, the real economy and the financial economy are going to split for good. And then I hope all of you are prepared for what's gonna happen. You still have time to protect yourself, choose wisely the assets you invest into.
The world economy has been working on steroids for much longer and the name of these steroids is called the policy of quantitative easing, which is resorted to by almost all the economies of the largest developed countries. Simply due to the peculiarities of the functioning of the current global financial system, miraculously, that inflation practically did not affect developed countries, but mainly affected developing economies. The pandemic has further increased the scale of this phenomenon and even more states have enthusiastically printed even more unsecured money. Another question is that the government had practically no choice in the conditions of the economy stopping due to knockdowns.
1957  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 18, 2021, 11:48:18 PM
Now Inter have Simone Inzaghi as their coach instead of Antonio Conte. They had an incredible season with Conte. They won the Serie A title quite easily and Juventus were too far away from them in the standings. But now, I see Juventus being more advantageous in the new season compared to Inter. Because we don't know what Inter players will do with Inzaghi. Will they have any adaptation problems to his system or not? And Juventus have Allegri finally after having a terrible season with Pirlo. I believe that Allegri will make a huge difference for them. I expect a much more productive and strong Juventus in the new season in the Serie A. I think that they will compete very well for the title and maybe even win it.
If you look at the situation at other clubs, then Juventus is undoubtedly the main contender for the title this season. Against the background of competitors, Juventus has a fairly balanced squad, which, with some strengthening and high-quality coaching, Allegri serves as a significant trump card in the chances of the title. I am not sure that Inzaghi will be able to squeeze the best out of the players in the same way as Conte did this season. Moreover, Conte himself realized that the best could not be achieved even under the current difficult financial conditions and could even be even worse, and wisely left the club. Milan is also busy building and strengthening a strong team, although of course the departure of Donnarumma as a free agent slightly spoils this impression.

The latest news, Tottenham says that Harry Kane will not leave they assured that Kane would stay at Tottenham, on the other hand, Man City still has options, one of which is signing Lewandowski of course Kane is the main target because he is younger and has a future. For me these two players have the same potential.
Kane's decision will play a really big role on this. Some time ago, Kane stated clearly that he wanted to leave. I wonder if he is still very decisive about it. If it's the situation, Tottenham can't keep him at the team this summer. It could even affect Kane's performance badly in the new season if Tottenham don't let him go.
If City don't sign him, there are some top strikers like Haaland and Lewandowski also. I guess they will reach an agreement with one of these 3 players in this summer.
There is information that Kane has already decided to leave Tottenham and has already agreed a personal contract with Manchester City. Also before that, there was information that Kane told his colleagues in the national team that he would boycott Tottenham's training sessions if the club did not release the player. Moreover, an offer from Manchester City has already been officially announced and Josep Guardiola himself has already expressed in an interview that Kane is the main goal of the club in this transfer window. Therefore, I think that the owner of Tottenham will still be more accommodating and will no longer interfere with agreeing a deal to the mutual satisfaction of the parties.
1959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 18, 2021, 11:24:04 PM
Despite being 32 years old, Lewandowski is still one of the best center forward in the world right now, but I don't think anytime in their right mind would be willing to splash 100m on him being fully aware they'll probably be able to grind 2-3 season more at his peak.]
The European Championship showed that Lewandowski only works when he has a good team around him. Without the passes that serve his teammates at Bayern perfectly, he never had such a punch before the goal. In the Polish national team, he does not have this, so he performs much worse there. Bayern would certainly let Lewandowski go for 100 million, but the question is, who pays this sum for a 32-year-old in Corona time where all teams have financial struggles?
And no one claims that Lewandowski can solve everything alone and with any partners. Look as an example at the national team of Argentina, which even if Messi has national team partners who are clearly higher in status than Polish players, but still Messi and partners have only now been able to win the long-awaited title. But I think that Lewandowski has a high enough playing level to prove himself well at another strong club, where he will have partners worthy of his level. I don't think that the top clubs necessarily look for a period longer than two or three seasons for their leaders and to ensure a quick result, the signing of Lewandowski is quite a good choice.

It was a really great race. Charles Leclerc was so close to a victory after a 2-year period without getting one. His pace was really good considering his car. But he had engine problems time to time and Ferrari engineers hardly managed to fix it. His pit stop was quite decent also. But still, he didn't have so much thing to do against a beast like Hamilton.  Cheesy  He was just incredibly fast that he caught up with Leclerc before the final lap and got past him easily. Leclerc couldn't defend much as the power of his car wasn't big enough to compete against him. Still he ended at the 2nd place and it was a great job.
Perez got the fastest lap but Hamilton won the race and got 25 more points. And the gap between Verstappen and Hamilton is now 8 points. The competition for the title has fired up even more now. I'm looking forward to see the Hungarian GP in two weeks.
Yes, Leclerc and Ferrari were very close to winning, despite the fact that Ferrari officially announced that it would no longer modernize its car this year. This means that, nevertheless, for certain tracks and a certain type of tires, this reserve is quite enough for a certain competition with Mercedes and Red Bull racing cars. It is very significant that the management of the Ferrari team allowed Leclerc to use the engine in an increased mode, but this still did not allow him to fight with Hamilton's Mercedes at the end of the race. Thanks to Hamilton's victory, the situation in the championship has greatly worsened and we will see how Lewis and Max will conduct a contact fight in Hungary, taking into account the contact of racing cars that occurred. Mercedes, thanks to the first and third places, came close to Red Bull in the Constructors ' Cup.
